To everyone who is asking when I'm going to update well...I AM NOW! IT'S RIGHT HERE! Another thing, I do updates every week so calm down, people! This update would of been sooner...if not for having to write what I had written down all over again! But it's here, it's completed and on with the story! :D
"Captains Log: Star Date..no idea. The evil Triceratons, a race of aliens from across the galaxy, invaded Earth. They wanted to wipe out their ancient enemy, The Kraang, so they unleashed the Black Hole weapon that destroyed both the Kraang and their secret hiding place: Earth. We lost our friends, our allies...even Master Splinter. We were saved at the last second by a mysterious robot called The Fugitoid. And here we are, on his ship." Leo turned around to look at his brothers and friends as they hang their heads low at the loss of their home and those close to them.
Dragan was comforting Donnie as he held an unconscious Kara close to him knowing it must of been hard to see her react the way she did. Fugitoid walked over to them and placed a gentle hand on Donnie's shoulders. "Come, I have a room where she can rest more comfortably."
"No, I'm not leaving her side." Donnie whispered, giving her a gentle squeeze.
"Right." Fugitoid let out a soft sigh and walked away to finish what he was doing.
Dragan walked over to Leo and moving her hand to his cheek before bringing him into a hug. Leo wrapped his arms around her in a tight embrace, no sound coming from anyone, only the sound of beeps and boops from Fugitoid working filled the still air.
Seeming to snap, Leo let Dragan go and turned towards Fugitoid. "Alright, Fugitoid or whatever your name is, what just happened?"
"This has got to be some kind of sick joke, right? RIGHT?" Raph grabbed Fugitoid's shoulders and started to shake him only to have Fugitoid slap him across the face pretty hard.
"Calm down, Raphael, first things first I have a job to do. Now, please, I've got a ship to fly while you all just stand about gawking." He walked over to the center of the ship where the pilot's chair was and shooed Casey off of it, climbing inside.
"That's not good enough!" April interjected. "Where are you taking us?"
"All questions will be answered in time."
The minute Fugitoid's eyes...brows..whatever narrowed Dragan had a feeling something bad was gonna happen.
"Ooch, we can't tak a break wi ye around, can we?"
"Hold on to something!" Fugitoid yelled as he started the ship's engine. "Oh, too late for that, apologies."
Dragan immediately grabbed Leo and since they were right in the front of the view, they saw everything.
Donnie held onto Kara tightly as the ship started moving at a speed faster than light that not only caused high amounts of pressure on them but they began to see a variety of colors flash, twist, sparkle, and and swirl around them, everyone screaming in a panic at what was being seen.
"IIIIIII caannaeeee unseeeee thiiiiiiiiisssss ahhhhHHHH!" Dragan screamed, her eyes glued to the scene in front of her but then she began to see some familiar sights. It was Earth being...rebuilt! Piece by piece until it was whole again but it didn't stop there. The sun, moon, and starts were moving at a fast rate that they zoomed around them in mere seconds.
Once everything had stopped everyone was either flat on the floor or down to their knees, awe struck.
"Wh-What just happened? We're actually alive?!" Raph held his head with a soft groan and looked around to see if everyone was ok.
"Did what I think happen...happen?" Dragan slowly stood to her feet, turning her head towards Fugitoid.
"You mean did I time travel to the past and save Earth for the moment?" Fugitoid stood from his spot and walked over to her, hands behind his back. "Why, yes, I did." He said with a light, chipper tone, smiling at her.
Dragan and the others turned towards the window to see Earth back in one piece.
"We...we went back in time.." Donnie gently laid Kara down and ran towards the window, looking out it curiously. "About six months based on where the Earth is in it's revolution around the sun."
"Six months? Then that means..everyone's back? Including Master Splinter?" Leo turned to Fugitoid with a wide, hopeful smile.
"Yes, Leonardo, but for only six months and then the Earth is doomed once more. Apologies."
Dragan couldn't contain it anymore and threw her hands in the air letting out a joyful yell. "Thay're all alive! Oor home is bak!"
Dragan's cheerfulness was becoming contagious as Mikey, April, Donnie, and Casey joined in. Leo smiled letting out a laugh and Raph just had a smile on his face but it was even hard for him to contain how happy he was.
"Wait, I get it. We stop the Triceratons before they get a chance to use the Black Hole on Earth." April stopped her cheering and looked to Fugitoid.
"Indeed. The Triceratons are spending this time searching the universe for the three fragments of the Black Hole Weapon, Bloop. Many years ago, Boop, the Utrom's broke the machine to three pieces hiding each fragment in the safest parts of the galaxy they could find. We must find them before the Triceratons find the fragments and reassemble them." Fugitoid turned his head towards them giving them an ominous look.
"And if we mess up we can just time travel back, right?" Mikey asked.
"No-no-nooo. A Black Hole prevents repeated localized time travel cause even time is subjected to it's suction. If we fail...earth is lost forever."
Dragan looked around at all the disappointed face and brought out her sword. "Don't worry, Fugitoid, by the code o' the Knights we won't let ye or the Earth down."
"Oh-ho, a knight on board my ship? That's very, Bloop, intriguing!" Fugitoid smiled brightly as he clapped his hands together in excitement making Dragan lower her sword shyly and blush.
"So why do you care, alien robot dude? Why are you helping us?" Casey brought up an excellent question that everyone was curious about.
"Yeah, who are you anyway?" Raph added in.
"My name is Professor Zaytan Honeycutt. I'm a friend to the Utroms. It was Bishop who sent me plus I always wanted to see the Earth! Have I mentioned I am both a scientist and a blurgghshgnem cyborg? Observed." After his robot dance, Fugitoid opened his head to show his brain, a human brain.
"Wooooaaah." Mikey said softly in awe.
"Woah, dude, I wish I was a robot with a human brain!" Casey smiled wide.
"Ooo, what if we had robot brains?" Mikey and Casey stepped away and began to robot dance making Dragan chuckle and April face palm.
"I just wish you guys had normal brains." Raph sighed, looking away from them.
Fugitoid went back to the pilot seat and went to move the ship but Dragan stopped him.
"Wait, Professor! If ye could please stay here for a moment..until Kara wakes up. She needs tae see that Earth is ok!"
"Oh dear..not sure if we have ti-"
"Please! Ye saw how she was when it was destroyed. Her mind is fragile an she needs to see that everything is ok in order tae geit bak tae normal...please understand." Dragan hung her head low at the thought of her close friend the way she was before.
He closed his eyes in thought. Sadly, everything was happening so fast that he couldn't keep watch over them all but...he did hear a particularly loud scream of anguish. "Hmm...that must of been her, I assume...I suppose we can wait for a short time, give you all some time to adjust and possibly give you a tour of my ship. Right, I shall take you to the med-bay where she can rest and be monitored. I will need to watch over her brain activity in her sleep. Come then." Honeycutt stood and walked away, waving his hands for them all to follow him.
Donnie gently picked Kara up and walked over to Dragan. "Thank you, Dragan."
"No problem, Donnie. This is something she can't miss."
Donnie nodded as they all followed Professor Honeycutt to the med-bay area and laid Kara down on a table. After attaching a small machine to her head and chest. "I'll keep watch on her, you guys go ahead."
"I'll stay, ok? If anyone needs this tour: it's ya. You're the only one capable o' helping Professor Honeycutt. IF-" She stopped him before he could interrupt her, "If she wakes up I will notify ya an the others, ok?"
Donnie sighed in defeat and gave her a nod. "Alright, you win. Take care of her."
"I promise, Donnie." She watched him, the Professor, and everyone else leave and turned around to look at Kara not noticing that Leo was still in the room.
"Hey." He said softly.
She blinked and turned her head to see him leaning against the wall beside the doorway. "Oh, hey, Leo. I thought you'd be wi the others touring the ship."
"Yeah...I want to talk to you about something.." He walked over to her, standing at her side and placed his hands on her arms moving her to face him. "Did you...did you mean what you said when we were about to be sucked away...?" He lowered his gaze as his face reddened shyly.
Dragan stared at his face for a moment when she realized what he was talking about. She smiled softly and reached her hands to his face, her palms feeling cold against his hot face and had him look at her. "Every word. I love you, Leo."
Leo stared down at her, his mouth agape and eyes wide. He placed one hand over hers and used the other one to bring her closer, leaning in til their mouths met in a passionate embrace. He parted their lips for a moment, his lips hovering over hers, their breaths synchronized. "I love you too, Dragan." He whispered to her as he reunited their lips once more neither of them aware Kara was beginning to wake up.
She slowly opened her eyes only to close them again from the light glaring down at her before blinking them to adjust to the light. She slowly sat up and looked around to see where she was at when her eyes fell on Dragan and Leo in the middle of a make-out session. She blushed softly and turned her head away knowing this was a private moment and let out a small cough.
Both Leo and Dragan froze, parting their lips from one another and slowly turned to see Kara averting eye contact, her cheeks flushed pink. They both jumped from each other and began to mutter stuff that she couldn't understand since they were both talking at once that their words jumbled together, their faces matching a Dragan's hair color.
After some more words Leo quickly turned away and walked out, stiff as a board.
"Uhhh...what?" Kara asked confused.
"He's going tae tell the others you're awake." Dragan sighed, calming herself down and sat on the bed by her feet. "How are ye feeling?"
"Other than this headache I'm ok, I guess." Kara smiled only to let out a startled yell when she felt a pinge of pain, memories racing in her mind. She touched where the pain was and lowered her head. "It really happened...didn't it?" She looked up at Dragan, a tear sliding down her face.
Dragan stared at her for a moment before bringing her close in a hug, feeling Kara breaking down in her arms. "It did...but we cannae give up hope. It's still out there."
Kara opened her mouth to say something to her when a noise caught both their attentions. "kaaaaaaaaaaRRRRRRRRRRAAAAAAAAAAA!" It yelled til they saw Donnie slid into view, only to slide a little too far and slam into a wall. Both of them winced hearing the impact but blinked when Donnie ran in, ignoring the pain. "Kara! Are you ok?" He asked bringing her close to him.
"Donnie.." She smiled softly and hugged him tight, looking up to see her friends pile into the room but blinked when she saw a robot.
Both of them seemed to be having a staring contest, unblinking, when the robot smiled with it's eyes and gave her a wave. "Hello there. My name is Professor Honeycutt."
"Uhhhh...what?" Kara asked, confused.
"He's the one that saved us. He's a friend of the Utrom and is going to help us save Earth."
"There's no Earth to save, Donnie.." Kara pulled away looking down at her arms. "The Earth was destroyed and The Triceratons won...It's over." She hung her head low in defeat, clenching her hands together.
"But Kara, listen, The Earth is back. We traveled back in time and the Earth, our home, is back!"
"It's true! We saw the whole thing."
"Yeah, let's go show her!" Mikey yelled, throwing his fist in the air and ran out the room, the others behind him. Dragan helped Donnie get Kara to her feet and lead them to the control room.
Kara gasped softly when Earth was in view and she walked towards the window, placing her hands on the glass. "It's there..for real...our home...everyone..they're back?" She turned around and looked to see her friends smiling and nodding to her. She began to laugh, fresh tears falling as she tried to wipe them away but they wouldn't stop coming. Everyone went over to her and gave her a group hug.
"Aw, what a lovely reunion." The Professor smiled, moving to his spot and sat down. "Now everyone hold onto something." He said just before putting the ship into hyperdrive, zooming through the galaxy outside the Sol System, everyone screaming.
Now that all the dangerous stuff was out of the way, the ship was sailing smoothly through space giving everyone a view they'd never forget, all of them commenting on how cool and beautiful it looked.
"Wondrous, is it not? Titanic Gasgiants, Neutron Stars on the verge of collapsing, Swirling Cloud Nebulas where baby stars are being born." The Professor explained, smiling happily.
"Aww, baby stars are so cuute!" Mikey smiled.
Kara stared in awe and wrapped her arms around Donnie's arm, leaning her head against his shoulder.
Leo moved next to Dragan and wrapped his arm around her waist, bringing her closer to him.
Sadly, though, the moment was ruined when something hit the ship causing it to halt in it's tracks.
"Uhh Professor? Donnie pointed at the screen where it showed the ship, what damage was done, and where it was.
"Awww, Beep, wonderful. Could you assist me on damage assessment, my friends? I have plenty of space suits to wear."
Mikey gasped and smiled in excitement, staring at the Professor. "Space suits?"
The equipment room lit up as they entered in and everyone's eyes widened at all the high-tech gear and weapons.
"Dude, I think we just hit a level nine Booyakasha!" Mikey shouted.
"No waaay.." Raph and the others ran into the room to look at everything. The Professor showed the girls a room where they could change into their spacesuits while the guys browsed around.
"Amazing! Hah, this is like a full on geek explosion!" Donnie practically squealed as he grabbed as many high-tech gear as his hands could carry.
"Astro suits equipped with oxygen converters, grav-boosters, and an alien language translators, Beep."
One Leo put his helmet on, his expression frozen with pure glee, he and his brothers posed with their new gear. "Mr. Krankshaw, set your phasers to destruction!" Leo said in his best Captain Ryan voice though Mikey ruined the moment by falling to the ground.
"Wooah, this old helmet is dope, yo." Casey examined it when something fell out of the helmet. He bent down and picked it up noticing it had a familiar shape like those of hockey pucks back at home. "Oo, Proton Pucks. They must play Hockey in space, wicked!"
One of the pucks rolled away until April stepped on it, revealing her suit.
She wore a yellow, one size too large one piece suit with white, heeled boots, a matching belt and holster around her right thigh. She brought out her laser blaster, aiming and twirled it in her hand before posing with it out and her other hand to her hip. Casey gawked at her which made her feel uncomfortable, hugging herself with a light blush. "Ok, you're starting to freak me out.."
Next, Dragan walked in wearing a black, skin tight one piece suit with silver chest piece, arm gauntlet, and leg armor with electric, neon designs etched into it, with matching silver one inch heeled ankle boots. She brought out her sword and sliced the air in front of her before leaning against it, popping her hip with her hand leaning against it, her hair up in a messy bun, bangs still covering her eye. Leo's cheeks began to darken red, and he started having a nosebleed, gawking at her.
Last, Kara walked in wearing a space suit similar to April's but hers was a dark purple and a perfect fit. The sleeves reached down all the way to her fingers, silver combat boots with matching belt that hung loose around her waist and gun holster on her thigh. She moved her hands behind her back where she pulled up an attached hood over her head, shadowing the area around her eyes. She grinned from ear to ear as she punched the air a few times then stood on the other side of April, her arms crossed. Besides the hearts in Donnie's eyes he felt his heart was going to pound out of his chest from seeing Kara in that outfit.
Dragan walked past Leo, noticing his reaction and gave him a wink as she passed him. Hearing the thud she giggled knowing he fainted. "Hehe, still got it."
Kara walked up to Donnie and gave him a small spin. "Soooo, what'd you think? Pretty cool, right?"
Donnie managed to snap himself out of the trance and leaned against his staff giving her a seductive look with a raised brow. "You must have your phasers set to stunning cause I can't keep my eyes off of you."
Everyone stooped what they were doing and turned to look at him, Kara frozen where she was at trying to process what she just heard, her face beginning to glow red.
Suddenly, the boys bursted out in laughter, pointing at the now embarrassed Donnie.
"Weak sauce, man! Weak sauce!" Casey shouted, his laughter getting louder.
The girls were giggling but because it was cute.
Suddenly, Kara grabbed Donnie's shoulders and dipped him low, placing her lips against his in a hard kiss, which caused everyone to shut up and stare. She finally set him back the way he was, now disoriented and awe struck, and she walked away, still blushing deeply.
"Everyone ready? Do not stray too far from the ship." The Professor warned as everyone put their helmets on. "Seriously, this is my stern face. See it?"
After an awkward silent moment, Mikey shot his hand up. "I call first!" He shouted before going to make a run for the airlock.
"No way, I'm first!" Raph said as everyone raced to be the first one to go outside, Kara and Dragan being the last ones, having left their weapons behind.
"Cowabungaaaa!" Mikey shouted as he jumped out into space, floating around.
"Wooah, woah!" Raph felt disoriented and held onto Mikey for a moment to try and get the hang of it. "Why did I think this would be cool? Urrgh please don't hurl. Please don't hurrl." He chanted to himself, squeezing his eyes tight to will himself not to.
Kara floated around aimlessly staring at the vast space around her, sighing softly to herself.
"Hey...you ok?" Donnie floated beside her, placing a hand on her shoulder.
"I'm ok, this just..feels like a dream. Never thought something like this would happen to me but here I am..floating in space with you, my friends, and a robot." She laughed softly
"You know, some dreams come true. I'm happy you're with us, Kara..wouldn't be the same without you." He whispered, pulling her close to him.
"I am too thank you for bringing me with you and I'm sorry for what happened..should probably apologize to Raph too.." She chuckled to herself knowing she'd probably forget to.
"You don't have to apologize for anything." He said with a smile. "But I should..I didn't mean to embarrass you back there." He blushed softly glancing to the side.
"No, no...I liked it. I've just..never been flirted to before..atleast that I know of..but..you can do it if you want to." Kara blushed darker but blinked when Donnie began to laugh, giving her a gentle squeeze. "Of course, my angel."
Leo floated idly beside Dragan to see her staring off into space, literally. "So, what do you think?"
"I was so proud o' ma hometown because at night ye were able tae see everything in the sky. It was like a masterpiece had been painted right in front o' us. It's so different from star gazing bak home because now..I can reach out an actually touch the sky." She extended her hand outwards and clenched it gently. "It feels incredible...what about ya?" She turned towards him with a smile.
"Well.." He began as he took her hand, boosting his jet pack so they were flying around. "I feel like Captain Ryan! Hero of the Galaxy! Woohoo!" He hollered as he and Dragan flew around, laughing.
"Is anyone going to join me in damage assessment? You should learn these things, people." The Professor called out walking towards the damage, Donnie and Dragan not too far behind him. They planted their feet on the ship, using their grav-boots, and walked over to the damage, Donnie using his staff to get a read on how much damage had been caused.
While The Professor muttered to himself about things Dragan couldn't understand she bent down to see if she could help in some way but there was too much steam rising for her to get a good look. She looked up to see a rock hit the side of The Professors head and they turned to see where it came from, guessing it was one of the guys playing around when their eyes fell on what was coming towards them.
"Oh no..."
"Oh crap.."
"...Asteroids!" Donnie screamed. "Big. HUGE. ASTEROIDS!' Donnie screamed, pointing at them and getting everyones attention.
"Language, Donnie!" Mikey called out but was grabbed by Kara.
"No time for that now, we gotta move! Everyone back to the ship!" She yelled, making her way to the ship.
Once everyone made it back on the ship, The Professor ran to his seat. "Quick, everyone to their stations."
"What stations?" Casey asked.
"Oh, you know, just pick one!" The Professor yelled.
Everyone was paired with two people at each station. Donnie and Leo were in one, Raph and Mikey were next, then Casey and April, and lastly, Kara and Dragan.
The Professor flew the ship, dodging the Asteroid Field with the help of April giving him directions.
"Ehh..get me off this boat ride already." Raph muttered, scared as he ducked his head thinking the worst.
"Woah, dude, how about I drive?" Mikey shot up, smiling.
Two massive Asteroids were coming towards them on both sides causing everyone to scream in a panic til Dragan slammed her hand down on a button activating the boosters, saving them from being crushed to bits in the nick of time.
"That was soo METAAAAALLL!" Casey screamed as they made their way to safety.
"Woo! Heh-heh, a couple of near misses from a few planteoids won't deter us, am I right or am I right?" The Professor asked , smiling cheerfully as he spun his head around.
"I don't think I can handle anymore excitement.." Kara groaned, hanging off the side of their seat.
"Are you kidding me? We almost bought it back there!" Leo snapped, turning to face The Professor.
"Exactly, "almost" Almost is a beautiful phenomenon, isn't it?" He smiled April's way making her give him a freaked out look.
"Ooch, I always knew that word was evil." Dragan threw her head back with a sigh.
"We still need to refuel, Professor. What're we going to do?!" Donnie turned his way.
"Drop by an alien spaceport, of course. I mean there's one right there, no biggie. Planet Veranon."
"Your computer's data says that planet is home to space pirates, rouges, thieves, and smugglers." Donnie read out loud.
"I like it already." Raph grinned.
"Please, you'd like anything that had to do with land at this point." Kara grinned knowing she ticked him off.
"Lovely planet, never been but I've heard it's gorgeous in the spring." The Professor explained as he parked the ship, attaching it to the docking bay.
"This spaceport is not part of the Federation so do be careful." The Professor called out as they all filed out of the ship.
"No problem, dude, we're out like Vanilla Ice. Peace!" Casey shouted, throwing his hand in the air.
"Don't worry about them, Professor, they'll be ok." Kara smiled, her hand on his shoulder.
"Yeah, just worry about refueling an taking care o' the hole. We'll gather what supplies we can." Dragan smiled before following behind the others, Kara behind her.
"Now this is completely incredible." April having a look around.
"I can't believe it. Look at it all!" Kara shouted in excitement, looking at all the different alien species.
"Alright, let's split up and check out the place. We meet back at the ship in twenty minutes, cool?" Everyone nodded at Leo's plan and split up into teams of two: Mikey and Kara, Raph and Casey, Leo and Dragan, and Donnie and April.
"Food food food! I need food!" Mikey exclaimed running over to a food vendor. "Space travel makes me sooo hungry!"
"Everything makes you hungry, Mikey." Kara chuckled, walking up to the vendor to see what they had.
"Welcome, my friend. We have many delicacies from across the galaxy. Raw Maurooshian Meat, Hot Huein Donuts, Sweet-n-Sour Fefuryvoids."
"Aw, maan!" Mikey couldn't find anything edible to eat til his eyes set upon a piece of familiar food. "OOh! Pizza!" He moved towards it but the pepperoni's popped up like eyes and began to crawl away. "Aww, man!"
Kara shook her head and went back to the owner. "Uhh what would you recommend?" She asked curiously as she pulled out her wallet only to find twenty dollars divided in different bills and loose change. "Preferably something on the..cheap side."
"Hmm, for you, my dear, I would say the Hot Huein Donut. Despite it's name it's cold to the touch but once you take a bite out of this delicious pastry your mouth will be filled with warmth as well as your taste buds go on an adventure like you've never experienced before. They're also made fresh daily." He said with a smile.
"Hmm...it does sound delicious. Ok, you got me, how much for it?"
"Twenty-five Zymulax."
"...What?"
"Twenty-five Zymulax." The owner repeated patiently.
"Zymuwhat now?" She blinked curiously.
"Zymulax, it's our currency in this quadrant."
"Hmm...how about this?" She held up a dollar bill for him to see.
"..What is it?"
"It's currency in the Sol System. This bill right here doubles that of twenty Zymulax here." Kara raised her brow and waved it around trying to look convincing to the alien. They both had a staring contest, the owner staring down at her suspiciously but when he saw no lie on her face he smiled brightly and began to pack away a donut for her. "Most excellent, my friend!" He said as he traded her the money for the pastry. "Keep the change" She said with a wink and a click of her tongue but blinked when she heard Mikey screaming and being attacked by the muffins.
Raph and Casey found a weapons shop where a robot was selling items outside.
"Dude, check out all these wicked weapons."
"Greetings, please feel free to browse." The robot said, spinning the weapons around it. "But do not touch anything. Repeat, do not touch anything."
"It's like I died and gone to a giant, beautiful armory in the sky."
"Heh-heh, you don't wanna mess with this badboy, Raph. Frigga Frigga whoop-whoop!" Casey said as he waved the sword around, the robot trying to get their attention and follow the rules.
"Pleeaase, I've got a giant, laser axe!" Raph said, holding it out as the two began to fight each other like little kids in a toy store, the robot continuing to be ignored.
Donnie and April walked up to a shop with strange, glowing shapes.
"Woow! Look at all of this! I kinda want one of everything." April turned to Donnie before looking around some more.
Donnie found something of interest and picked it up curiously only for a light to shine out of it and soon, a hologram of Donnie stood in front of him. "Check me out, April, heh-heh two for the price of one."
"I'm sure Kara would looove that, Donnie." April said with a roll of her eyes and a small smile. "Give her twice the heart attack with your pick up lines." She giggled when Donnie began to blush and she turned her attention to something that caught her eye. She picked up a floating crystal and looked down at it. "What is this? Is it some kind of space crystal?"
"It's a Tollick Gem from the Vox System. It changes shape and color based on emotion." The shopkeep explained.
Both Donnies walked over to her to get a good look at it, curious to see how it worked as it began to change shape and color rapidly.
"Hmm...hey, that place looks tae be handing out drinks. I'll go geit some." She ran ahead towards the vendor.
"Make sure it's not poisonous or anything!" Leo called out to her before leaning against a table with a soft sigh, smiling as she stood in line.
"Hey, you're not from around here are you?" A female alien walked over and stood beside him, staring down at him with different colored eyes and a sharp, sly smile. "Let me guess, first time off planet, right?"
"Heh, is it that obvious?" Leo asked, smiling nervously.
Dragan walked back to Leo, drinks in hand and stared down at them noticing they were changing color. "Maybe I should o' just gotten some water oh wait, this is water.." She sighed but blinked when an alien was getting a little too close for comfort to her Leo, who was backing away nervously when a gargantuan foot stomped in front of him and the alien. She noticed he was backing away more til he let out a scream and ran away. She sighed and dropped the drinks to follow after him.
Kara watched as Mikey played around with the muffin things while taking a bite of her donut. "Oh, wow, you weren't kidding. This isn't half bad."
"Get..off of me..caaake!" Mikey brought his nunchucks and smacked the deadly pastries and stood up, stomping one to the ground.
Kara watched him, blinking as she chewed on her donut but froze when the owner gasped, pointing down at the pastries. "What have you done?! That Trivoxian Cake was the last of it's species! It costs two hundred and fourty Zymulax! Pay me now!"
"Um...Kara..I don't suppose you have the money to pay this nice gentleman, do you?"
Kara looked down at her wallet and blinked unsure of how to go about this. "Um...I don't suppose you'd be interested in starting a tab, would you?"
"Ok, listen, I'm all out of space bucks, dude but I have some moldy pizza you might be interested in." Mikey held out a piece of green and moldy pizza that made Kara want to gag as well as question where he was keeping it. He set it down on the counter and jumped back when the owner stabbed a knife into it.
"You pay or you suffer!" The owner's eyes shrunk while it's teeth sharpened and grew causing Mikey and Kara to gulp nervously.
Raph and Casey were still fighting like little kids, the robot still trying to get them to stop that is, til Raph sliced it's head clean off with the axe.
"Aaand that was bad.." Raph lowered the axe looking at the now beheaded robot.
"Raph that was just wrong..but so-so awesome!" Casey pumped his fist in the air but stopped when two security drones came out from the shop and looked right at them. First, they shot the weapons right out of their hands causing them to freeze, looking like scared puppies, til they began firing at them now both of the screaming while running away.
Donnie and April heard something familiar and looked up to see Leo running away, screaming, a massive creature whose feet they were only able to see, and Dragan running after them yelling for the alien to stop. It wasn't til the alien stomped it's foot to the ground causing April and Donnie to lose their balance, April dropping the crystal to the ground it shattering to pieces.
"Oh no! I am really really sorry!" April turned to the shopkeep nervously.
"No problem, ma'am. That gem was on sale for nine hundred Zymulax." The shopkeep held it's hand out, smiling to her.
"That sounds like a lot of Zymulax." April chuckled nervously.
"Heh-heh..maybe the Professor has some kind of space..credit card or something." Donnie smiled awkwardly giving her a light chuckle.
When the money wasn't in it's hand it immediately brought out a weapon, pointing it at them, not looking too pleased.
"Come back here you thieving bleebs!" The shopkeep yelled out, chasing the two while firing at them.
They rounded a corner hoping to outrun it when they backed away and ran into Mikey and Kara.
"Oh, hey dudes!" Mikey said while looking to run away only to have multiple knives being thrown at him.
"I guess you're in the same predicament as we are?" Kara asked, holding onto her bag.
The pastry shop owner was running towards them, growling at them while raising even more knives.
"Welp, time to go." Kara said, eyes wide. Donnie and April screamed as they all ran away following Kara. Not soon after Raph and Casey joined in leading in front of them.
They suddenly stopped when the massive alien's feet stomped right in front of their path and behind them. They all looked up to see Leo dangling from a hair on the alien's leg and Dragan punching it on the other leg. Kara couldn't help but laugh at Dragan, taking a picture.
Leo managed to jump down safely and went to flee but the alien stepped on him. Raph and Casey went to fight the alien while the others tried to pull him out from underneath it. Kara was helping April pull Leo out by his arms when she noticed some familiar, unhappy aliens coming their way.
"I think it's time to vamoose.."
Donnie looked up and blinked when he saw them as well. "Um guys...we gotta move. RIGHT NOW!" Once Leo was freed Dragan, Raph, and Casey hopped off the alien and fled towards the ship.
Everyone in the crowded plaza jumped out of the way of the stampeding mutants and humans when they fell ontop of an alien except for Kara and Dragan who managed to skid to a halt in time. "Uh-oh.."
Leo moved back as everyone stood to their feet and held out his hand to the creature. "I'm sorry, let me help y-" He was smacked away and crashed into Mikey and Kara, knocking them down.
"Do not touch me, sub-creature!" A purple ooze bug like alien stood up as his guards floated up by his side, everyone fleeing the scene. "Do you fleshlings know who I am?
All of them shook their heads no.
"We're kinda new here.." Kara muttered under her breath.
"I am Lord Vringath Dregg. Ruler of Planet Sectoid. Lord of all insect life in the universe and bringer of deaths."
Raph stared at him for a moment before holding his hand out like he was holding a phone. "Uh could you hang on a second. I just got a call from someone named "I don't give a flying-!""
"That's great! Thanks, Raph! Nice Diplomacy there.." Donnie interrupted Raph's sentence.
"We've taken waay tougher dudes than you, bug head."
"Uh..Casey..I don't think that's such a good idea.." She was immediately right when Lord Dregg snatched Casey, hanging him from his legs.
"Then you clearly have never heard of Lord Dregg." He said, opening his mouth wide while lowering Casey down into it.
Kara took action and snatched Casey from him, holding him in her arms while April and Raph brought Dregg down. "We just told you we don't know who you are.."She blinked when a vial of powder fell to the ground and shattered, the powder flying away with the wind.
"My Maracavan Star Spice..that was worth five million Zymulax!" Dregg shouted, clenching the broken vial in his claws. "You..you primitive bafoons!"
"Did he just call us monkeys?" Mikey asked nervously, taking a step back.
"That's baboons, Mikey.." Kara whispered.
"Vrein. Battlemode." Dregg said to his minions as they began to transform.
"Ok, I sense we're going to get our butts kicked in kind of a big way." April said just as Dregg ordered for his minions to attack.
"Get em!" Leo shouted as they all charged in to attack and were able to take down Dregg's minions rather easily.
"My Vrien..gone. You..stupid...arrogant..creatures! I am not a being who forgives such insolence!"Dregg stared down at them menacingly which Raph took as a challenge and walked up to him, punching his fist into his hand and charged forward only to get caught by Dregg and given a beat down before being thrown into a pole, crashing into it.
"I will make your end swift!" Dregg walked towards Raph as Leo and Mikey came at him from behind but their attacks did nothing but anger him more. He used his venom spit on Leo but he blocked with his swords, and was suddenly grabbed as well as Mikey, Dregg slamming both of them into each other til they were knocked out and tossed them aside.
Dragan found a metal rod to use and charged at Dregg, raising it high over her head like she would with her sword but Dregg used his venom spit dissolving the rod causing her to freeze in her tracks, staring down at what was left of it while Dregg turned around firing missles towards Donnie and Casey.
Kara charged at Dregg, dodging his attack and sent a few punches to his stomach then an uppercut to his face but it caused no damage to him. "Oooh boy.." He immediately grabbed her head and slammed her to the ground. "Not gonna lie..that hurt..really bad.." She groaned just before she was held up. "What're you some kind of Terran?"
Before she could answer April swooped in and used her Tessen to loosen his grip on Kara and she kicked his arm having her leg him go and she jumped back when she noticed his hand fall off and begin crawling towards them. "April, look out!" She called out but April was already caught in it's thread and was being dragged towards him, he asking her the same question.
"I'm human. On my planet we squash bugs, like you!"
"...I don't think you should of told him that, April.." Kara said as she ran to save her but luckily, April managed to free herself from his binds and shot him multiple times inside his mouth forcing him to let her go and Leo swooping in for the final kick.
Everyone gathered together and made their way to the ship.
"You cannot escape Lord Dregg!" He shouted, chasing after them while firing his weapon.
"Can't this guy give it up!" Kara yelled between pants.
"Fugitoid start the ship! Start the ship!" Leo yelled as everyone ran inside.
The Professor turned around and noticed a creature running towards him and zoomed in on it realizing who it was. "Oh, great..I can't believe you ticked off half of the known intelligent races in the entire galaxy!" The Professor scrambled into the ship and it began to fly out off the planet.
"He's following us!" April shouted making Kara groan. "Uggh, doesn't that insect know when to quit!?"
"Step on it, Fugitoid, come on!" Leo snapped in a panic rage.
"We need a few nexton for the Tachyonic Jump."
Dragan and Kara were doing their best to help dodge Dregg's attacks when Raph said something that made her shudder.
"Uugh, I think it laid some eggs."
"Eggs? Ok, things just got weird."
"Ya think?! Oh, geez, why did I have tae chase after that alien just leave us alone."
"Dude, do you got lasers or plasma rockets or something DESTRUCTIVE?!"Casey screamed to The Professor.
"Well, we have minor defenses against space pirates."
"Well, what are you waiting for? Fire up those minor defenses!" Raph yelled til Mikey shoved him out of the way. "I'm on it, dudes! I learn quick!" Mikey said as he began pressing random buttons, seeing one of the weapons activate and shoot down two of the minions. "Yeaaah!"
"Woo! Nice job, Mikey!" Kara grinned til more smacked against the window.
"Leonardo press that button on your right." The Professor pointed. Leo looked down at the controls til he found the button and pushed it, the creatures suddenly were shocked and malfunctioned.
Lights began to flare around them when Kara got a notification on her screen.
"It's inside!" Leo shouted.
Kara jumped to her feet when she heard the thing try and pry the doors open til it finally succeeded. Everyone jumped into action to take the thing down, Kara and Dragan using their hand to hand skills while the others relied on their weapons til Casey managed to bring it down with an exploding.
"Woo-hoo! It ain't no match for us!" Kara pumped her grinning ear to ear.
"Brilliant! Everyone, ready for Tachyonic Warp!" The Professor said just as they warped away from Dregg.
Once they were out of harms way everyone was cheering not only from escaping but from the adrenaline of their starting adventure.
Dragan laughed and watched as Kara and Donnie hugged each other and took a step back before looking down at her hands remembering when the weapon she had dissolved like sugar in water. She clenched her hand wondering what would of happened if she would have fought with her sword or shield would they have been damaged to the point of being unusable as well? Sadly, her thoughts were interrupted with-
"Um...well...I hate to be the bearer of bad news but..."
Everyone stopped their celebration to see the Triceraton Armada right in front of them.
"You've got to be kidding me!!" Both Kara and Dragan screamed as the Triceraton ships started lighting up.
"Aw, space apples." Mikey muttered under his breath.
Just an FYI, all the alien words I spelt on my own. I don't know if they're right or not and if they are...I'm so awesome...if not and you know how to spell them then please, tell me. To Mariah: I'm following the story, yes, but if you have any ideas feel free to share.
