"They're still in there, huh? Can't really blame them.." Kara leaned against the wall glancing towards the holo-room where Leo and Dragan were inside having an idea of what they were doing.
"Just give them there space. I'm sure they need it after everything that has happened." Raph stood beside her, placing his hand on her shoulder.
"Yeah, you're right." She blinked when Donnie and April came in, heading towards the holo-room. "Meeting on the bridge, guys." Kara noted his voice had a hint of urgency to it. "Something happen?"
"We may have found a piece of the Black Hole Generator." April said causing both Kara and Raph to stare at her.
Leo and Dragan stood on top of a water tower overlooking the city, Dragan with her head on his shoulder, holding his arm. It was just as beautiful as they had remembered it. She glanced up at him, smiling when she noticed his attention was off to the side. She followed the direction he was looking and blinked in surprise when she saw-
"Sensei?!" Leo immediately ran over, Dragan having let go of him, and went to reach out for him only for Master Splinter to fade into codes and disappear. Dragan ran up to him and seeing the look on his face she went to move her hand to his arm only to see Donnie enter the room.
"Sorry to interrupt, guys, Fugitoid needs us on the bridge. The other are waiting for us."
Leo looked down at his hands and clenched them but looked over seeing Dragan's hand over his. "Come on, let's go." She gently lead him out of the room as it changed back to it's blank, white form and they left.
When they reached the bridge they could see the others in front of the window, Kara looking tense and angry.
"Kara, what is i-oh..." Up ahead was the Triceraton fleet hovering not too far from them but a ways to where they were hopefully undetectable.
"They can't see us on radar, right, Fugitoid? You sure this is gonna work?" Raph looked over at Fugitoid then back where the Triceratons were.
"The Triceratons are convinced the first piece of the Black Hole Generator is on that planet. We just need to reach it first."
"Then what are we waiting for? We can't let them get it, not even give them a glimpse of it." Kara grinned, looking over at Fugitoid before staring back at the fleet, her grin changing to a frown.
"I'm just going to say it now, something's not right about this mission." April placed her hand to her forehead and stared towards the planet suspiciously.
Fugitoid dropped down into their shuttle then everyone followed suit, landing on one of the seats around him wearing their helmets and gear and turned their attention towards the front where small control screen appeared in front of them all just before taking off towards the planet.
"Activating cloak." Donnie pressed a few buttons then turned his hand as the ship became invisible on the outside.
"Better work this time, Donnie." Raph muttered remembering the last time they supposedly 'cloaked'.
"Only one way to find out, right?" Kara chuckled his way.
"You weren't there the last time it happened!" Raph yelled at her.
"Seems tae be workin'. We're heading towards the planet without any interruptions." Dragan noted looking around them cautiously.
"Finally, a little excitement. It's been, like, a whole week since something awesome happened." Casey said with an exciting grin and wide eyes making Kara wonder if something was wrong with the boy.
"Jonsie, as a friend, I have to say this: You need help. Bad. That little R&R between these crazy adventures is much needed."
"As well as much appreciated." Dragan chuckled, leaning back against the seat.
"That world, it's radiating a strange power. Like, pure evil." April placed her index and middle finger to her forehead while closing her eyes. "We're flying into danger, Professor."
"Evil, you say? Nonsense. This is Xaava-Dal. The oldest, most beautiful paradise planet in the universe. It is gorgeous down there." The Professor stated, smiling with his eyes as they began to land.
When they walked off the ship the surroundings were all but beautiful.
"Well, if you call this a beautiful paradise world...I'd hate to see what you call ugly and disgusting.." Kara muttered while looking around.
"Ah, Fugidude!" Casey yelled glaring at him.
"Well, I am, you know, occasionally wrong.."
Dragan let out a sigh as she took a step forward, narrowing her eyes at the creatures that were hidden in the trees above them. "Well, there's one pairt o' being human. I suppose the faster we find this piece the faster we can leave."
"Woah, this is place is like-"
"Pure evil maybe? Like I sort of warned about earlier? Yeah, no one listens to the psychic." April said, finishing Casey's sentence as they walked further into the forest.
"Well, most psychics are fake, you know." Kara chuckled when she saw April look back at her with a raised brow. "But I know you're not fake, haha." She laughed nervously while rubbing the back of her head.
"All the flora and fauna are very strange. I don't understand these readings at all." Donnie commented as he stared at the scanner on his staff.
"Easy to believe, this is a new planet.." Kara stared up at the sky at all the purple and lavenders. "The colors are pretty though."
"Aww! Little space monkey, cat-rat thing. Aren't you, uh, cute?" Mikey bent down to pet it when it bit his finger making him yell in surprise as the creature held on til Mikey tossed him aside. The creature landed on it's feet and stand up straight before growling at him and retreating.
"Nice one, genius, now you probably have space rabies." Raph said to Mikey before walking around him.
"Space rabies?" What Mikey imagined next made him scream and run after the group to catch up.
"Great, now you made him scared." Kara groaned as his yelling got louder til he bumped into Casey causing both of them to fall over.
"Well, it's not so bad." Raph chuckled staring down at the two as the others continued onward.
"This word, it was once a vast, beautiful garden. It held ancient repositories of all sacred knowledge in the cosmos. Not a single piece of technology was built here."
"Doesn't sound like your kind of place, Donnie." Kara chuckled softly making him shake his head with a smile.
"The Aeons must've fled." Fugitoid continued. "Without their divine power, look at this world."
"What're Aeons?" April asked standing next to Fugitoid.
"Powerful, ancient aliens. The first beings to evolve in the universe. Now they've all gone away."
As they moved further into the forest Kara felt a sort of itch on her skin not one that she was able to scratch away, like, it was at the back of her mind and it was really starting to irritate her.
"This energy is really screwing up my readings. Ah!" Donnie yelled as Casey shoved him aside. "So fix it, genius. I thought you were the smart one."
"That's right. I am. Which clearly makes you the stupid one!" Donnie shouted at Casey.
"Ha! That definitely makes Raph the angry one." Mikey joined in with a laugh.
"I'm clearly the handsome one. Here, check it out. I got something for ya." Raph held out his fist making Mikey smile. "Ah-ha!" He laughed and gave him a downward pound with his own fist only for Raph to circle his arm upwards and hit Mikey on the head. "Ha! You're the gullible one."
Mikey glared up at Raph and stood, shoving him backwards. "I'm tired of you picking on me! Ever since we were little, you've been giving me shell wedgies, wet willies, and reptile rug burns, and-"
"Mikey, Raph, enough! We're on a serious mission here. So stop it!" Leo yelled with enough anger to surprise both Kara and Dragan but it was enough to make Mikey and Raph take a step back from one another til they heard a screeching sound behind them in the sky. "Huh? Everyone take cover!" Everyone separated on either side of the path to take cover.
Kara hid under a bush and poked her head out enough to where she could see dark, scrawny figures flying but blinked when one landed and moved to where Mikey was hiding. She went to pick up a rock and throw it away from Mikey's location but stopped when it flew away. Once the coast was clear everyone gathered up, Mikey falling to the ground in front of them.
Dragan bent over to help him up while Fugitoid spoke. "Phew, Very strange. These creatures are definitely not native to this planet."
Raph landed behind Dragan looking peeved. "Yah! Let's just move. Now we got demon bats and Triceratons to deal with. I hate outer space so, so much."
"Hey, thare's one good thing that has come oot o' it. A little someone named Mona Lisa." She whispering the name to him making him blush.
"Yeah, I suppose you're right." Raph muttered looking away shyly making Dragan giggle.
It felt like they were walking around for hours. If she didn't know any better Kara would believe-
"We're going around in circles."
"Well, crap..." Kara sighed, placing her hand over the helmet where her eyes were til she heard Donnie grunting and looked over to see him shaking his staff thinking that'll make it work better.
"Ah! We've been walking for miles, Donnie. That scanner is as useless as that gap in your teeth."
"Oh, let's not go back there, Casey."
"Hold up. I know you're not talking about his gap that I happen to love and find adorable, by the way." Kara intervened, moving between the two and poking at Casey which made Donnie give a smug grin his way. "See? My gap is way more awesome than your gap."
"My gap is way bigger than yours. You got a baby gap." Casey shoved Kara out of the way and poked Donnie. "Hey, don't shove Kara!" Donnie yelled shoving him as well before they got in each others faces, glaring at the other.
"Will you two cut it out?" Mikey said, getting in between the two. "You're more annoying than Raph."
"That's it! Ah!" Raph flew at Mikey, tackling him to ground as they began to fight. While that was happening Casey smacked Donnie with a bat and went to jump on him but Kara punched him away first and smiled to Donnie only to get tackled instead and Donnie went to her rescue.
Leo ran over to Mikey and Raph, pulling Raph away from him. "Get off of him, man!" Leo yelled as Raph struggled to get free from his grasp only to slip away in time for Mikey to punch Leo in the face, knocking him on his back.
Casey had managed to get on Donnie's back while Donnie was hitting his staff on Casey's head to try and get him off while Kara was pulling at him.
"Whoa, what are you doing? Professor, a little help?" April managed to pull Kara away but was forced back by the guys and hit a wall. This stopped Kara and she gasped softly before going over to see if she was ok.
Dragan watched her friends fight amongst another wondering what was going on with them. They've been in positions like this and they've never acted the way they are now. "There is something definitely wrong wi this planet..." Her thoughts were interrupted by the sound of a laser and she looked over to see Fugitoid firing at the guys' feet.
"You must all stop! Don't make me smack you! You see this? This is my smacking hand. I'll use it!" Fugitoid gestured to his left hand, looking at them angrily.
"He's right, guys. What the heck is wrong with us?" Mikey asked softly looking over at Raph.
"We have more important stuff to deal with. Like this." April moved some vines away from the wall revealing text and art on it.
"Must be from some sort of ancient civilization." Leo thought out loud.
"Duh." Raph commented.
"The Professor did say there were ancient aliens who lived here once." Kara chuckled making Leo blush in embarrassment but she smiled and gave him a playful nudge.
"A mountain with a sun at it's peak carved in the shape of a gemstone. What could it mean?" Fugitoid muttered to himself.
Hearing the screech from before, Kara looked up to see their 'friends' from earlier. "We got trouble."
"Scatter!"
They all hid in different spots, now more than just one landing as they try to find them.
"Those guys are the pinnacle of extreme metal." Casey whispered to himself in excitement.
"Shh..you'll blow your cover, Casey.." Dragan whispered while hiding above the same tree he was under.
One sounded off a noise as it and the rest left back into the sky.
When they were gone Leo walked out of hiding and sighed in relief. "Phew! Too close. Thank goodness they're-they're not are they?" He heard a sound behind him and turned to see it jump down and run at him, going for an attack.
One managed to knock Mikey into Raph, who being angry already, was even more angry. "Mikey! You're in my anger zone!" He then turned around and punched one of the creatures in the face.
Casey was struggling with his creature but Donnie helped him out by zapping it and smirked when it fell to the ground only to get grabbed by the face and lifted up into the sky.
"Donnie!" Kara yelled and jumped into one of the trees and climbed to the top, pushing herself into the sky as high as she could and sent a wave of energy at the creature forcing it to let go of him. She went to grab for him but as he landed on the ground he jumped to his feet and backed away from another creature. She sighed in relief that he was safe and went to jump down only to get caught as well. She let out a yell and continuously punched it in the face Dragan jumped on it before it could take her into the sky and pulled it's wings back, falling onto the ground where Kara knocked it out. "Haa..thanks, Dre." She helped her up and smiled but blinked when she heard Mikey yelling and looked over to see his helmet had busted open.
"MIKEY!!" Both girls yelled and ran over to him as he continued to yell, his eyes bugging out, til he stopped and looked around.
"Whoo. Huh..Dudes. We can breathe air here! Sweet!"
Kara sighed in relief and helped him to his feet. "That's a relief."
"An a good thing. We were worried for ya, pal." Dragan hugged him and helped him pull off his helmet, making sure no glass got in his eyes or mouth.
As Donnie pulled off his helmet Raph threw his at him. "Donnie, you telling me we could breathe the entire time?!"
"Back off my shell, man!" Donnie glared at him as Raph too his helmet and hit him with it.
"Knock it off! We still hae an enemy tae face!" Dragan yelled getting between the two.
"Finally, yes!" Leo grinned as he dropped his helmet and resumed the battle with the creatures. One went to attack while his back was turned but April was already aiming her gun at it. "Leo, duck!" She shot at it, it dropping to the ground, and Dragan ran to Leo taking care of the rest of them while Leo went to aid April. "Behind you!" He yelled as he did a flying kick to it's face.
Donnie was doing fine on his own, zapping any creatures that came his way til one smacked him into a tree where he landed in a pile of prickle bushes, jumping into the air while screaming, "Ah! Little help?! Ah! Ow! Ow!"
Kara glared hearing Casey laughing his butt off and she jumped into the tree next to his and waited for the right moment before tackling him away from the bush and into her arms. "You ok?" She set him down and smiled seeing him blushing. "Yeah, thanks, wait..why aren't you taking your helmet off?" He asked, poking it gently.
"I don't know if you'll believe me but hearing April talk about this place having an evil vibe and how we acted earlier..I think this planet is-woah!" She was suddenly on the ground with Casey right on top of her and throwing Donnie back into the prickle bush.
"Ow...Casey!" She yelled raising her fist but stopped herself and went to go help Donnie again. "This planet is changing us..No, I won't let it happen to me." She closed her eyes and took a deep breath to calm herself and once Donnie was safe again she walked over to Dragan, who also had her helmet on. "You thinking the same thing I am?"
"That this planet is bringing oot the hatred in all o' them, including ya? Yeah, but since you've figured it oot already we just need tae focus on the boys.." She nodded her head towards them noticing they were all fighting each other once more.
"Guys!" April yelled grabbing everyone's attention. "You need to stop this. It's not you. It's the world that's affecting you."
"The rage! It's so hard to control!" Leo uttered with gritted teeth.
"Then focus it on the demon dudes!" Mikey shouted moving his head towards the creatures that flew towards them in massive numbers. Leo narrowed his eyes and aimed his blaster at them but Fugitoid stopped him. "There's too many! Run for your very lives!" He shouted as everyone turned and back into the woods, running as fast as their legs could carry them while avoiding contact with the creatures.
Kara panted softly jumping around trees and skidding past bushes when she noticed a rather large fallen tree in her way. She looked up seeing a branch she could reach and jumped to it, grabbing it with one hand and used it to throw herself over it while cutting it off from the tree with her other hand and let go. When she landed she glanced behind her to see it had fallen on the creatures that were chasing her and grinned before running to catch up with the others. "Guys? Donnie! Dragan!?"
"Over here!" She could hear Dragan's voice and ran faster til she reached a clearing where everyone was standing around a statue. She stopped in front of them and turned around to see the creatures stop at the base of the forest and retreat.
"Whoa, what just happened?" Raph asked as he moved Kara away from the forest noticing she was almost out of breath. "Hey, you should probably take that off."
"No, I have plenty of air still." She laughed softly between breaths looking over at April hearing her whisper, "The Statue?" under her breath.
"Yes!" Mikey yelled jumping onto the statue and hugging it tight. "Thank you, Statue. You. Are. Awesome." He said softly as he slid down it making Dragan giggle.
"Calm down, Mikey, it's just a statue though..I am curious why it made those creatures flee.." Dragan pondered in thought.
"What is it, Professor? Some kind of mystical guardian?" Donnie asked looking to Fugitoid.
"It's a depiction of the Aeons; the beings that fled this world." Fugitoid answered.
"Guess the demons drove them off a long time ago." April commented.
"If those creatures are responsible for all of this..wonder what else they can do.." Kara wondered while glancing over at the boys.
"Wow, that's a total bummer." Casey said as he stared at the statue.
"Bummer?" Leo shoved Casey glaring at him. "Look what happened to their world! You have about as much sensitivity as a rabid dog!"
"Leo, that's enough." Dragan said as she went to grab him but Raph shoved him. "Look, just because you're leader doesn't mean you have to get into everyone's face." Raph yelled, pointing his finger to his face.
"Don't start on that leader thing again, Raph. You've always been jealous of me."
"Guys..this isn't the ti-"
"Jealous?!" Kara and Dragan looked at each other before grabbing either side of Raph and holding him back and away from Leo. "Maybe that's because you were always Splinter's favorite." Kara looked down seeing him Raph for his weapon and went top him but was pushed back as Raph went to charge for Leo. "Raph, don't!" Dragan shouted as she went to tackle him down but froze when Leo brought him into a hug. "Raph, I love you, bro." He whispered softly stopping Raph in his tracks.
This seemed to knock some sense into Raph as he looked at his brother. "Leo..I-I'm sorry." He took a step back, dropping his weapons to the ground. "I-I don't understand what's going on..."
"The planet. It keeps messing with our heads. We gotta remember that. We have to focus." Leo placed his hand on Raph's shoulder while April helped Kara to her feet.
"Guys, did you notice something? The statue, it's pointing." Mikey pointed up at the statue where the gem on the forehead was glowing til a light came off it and was pointing in a direction.
"Well, let's see where it takes us." Leo looked over at the gang before they all followed the light.
When they reached the end of the light they were taken to a gigantic temple, everyone gasping in awe.
"That is one dope alien temple, yo!" Casey grinned up at it.
"I bet you this place is loaded with booby traps."
"Have you seen any movie involving a temple? Of course it has booby traps! Zip it, Mikey." Kara pointed to Mikey who was having a giggling fit.
"Eh, what's the worst that could happen-ow!" Raph turned to Kara after she had smacked him upside the head.
"Never say that! There are plenty of worse things that could happen!"
"Oor lives tend tae revolve around 'the worst that cld happen' so relax, Kara, an just let it flow." Dragan chuckled, patting her shoulder to calm her down as they made their way inside the temple, the doors closing behind them leaving them in a darkened room.
When Fugitoid turned his light on Kara and Dragan snickered seeing Casey and Mikey clinging to Raph, who dropped them to the ground.
"Wow, amazing." April looked around at all the drawings on the wall. "Definitely alien." Donnie commented.
"What does it say, Professor?"
Fugitoid cleared his throat as he stepped forward to begin reading the inscription. "It's in ancient Aeoneon. "When the Soul Star, uh, reaches the mountain's peak, uh, the light of the Aeons shall illuminate all.""
"What the heck does that mean?"
"It means you will be illuminated by the Aeons. Duh." Kara rolled her eyes at Raph making him growl at her.
"Yo, check it out. What do you think this does?" Casey walked over to something on the wall and pushed his fist against it as one of the traps activated and sliced Fugitoid's left arm off.
April covered her mouth while Kara covered her eyes and Dragan covered her ears in shock and panic. All Fugitoid could do was look and go, "Oh dear."
"It does that, you big dummy!" Donnie screamed to Casey as even more traps turned on and everyone was scrambling around to avoid them, Raph guiding Mikey who had his head stuck in his shell and Leo guiding Fugitoid as everyone made it into the other room just before the door closed behind them.
"Whoa!" Mikey yelled as soon as he head popped back out and he felt his face to make sure it was still intact. "Phew!"
"Casey!" Raph yelled as he stood to his feet. "Stop. Touching. Stuff!"
"That was completely my bad." Casey admitted.
After making it to the other side of the temple, they finally found it.
"There it is." Fugitoid whispered in awe.
"The first piece of the Black Hole Generator."
"Yes, we did it!" Leo shouted while Dragan hugged him and cheered.
Kara jumped in the air and looked over at Donnie to see him not looking so happy as them. "Donnie, what is it?"
"What's it doing on an altar, anyway? Has anyone thought of that?" He looked at the others curiously.
"Who cares? We found it first. We rule! Woo-hoohoo!" Raph hollered as he was the first to race up to the top, Leo following after him then Mikey and Casey while the girls, Donnie, and Fugitoid stayed behind.
"Wonder how they'll be able to get it down." Kara chuckled watching them til a rumbling voice filled their ears.
"By the luck of the great Zanmoran. Not only does Mozar find the fugitive android, he collects the first fragment of his prize." Captain Mozar appears at the doorway with three soldiers around him, the soldiers aiming their weapons at them. "Obliterate them!" Mozar orders as they began firing.
"Booyakashaaa!" Mikey yelled as he took one down only for it to stand back up. "Wretched alien!"
Kara took a step beside Dragan and glanced at her, whispering. "go around one side of the pyramid and I'll meet you at the top." Dragan nodded and ran around one side while Kara did the other, both of them running towards the top where the piece of the Black Hole Generator was. "We will stop him from taking it."
When Mozar reached the top he looked up at the first piece but when he went to take a step forward Kara and Dragan stood between him with their weapons out. "You won't be collecting anything but a wounded ego today, Mozar."
He growled at them and went to take towards them but felt something pull against his tail. "What?" He looks back to see Donnie holding his tail and he smacks him away and down the pyramid.
"Donnie!" Kara yells and glares at Mozar as their fight begins.
With their new weapon upgrades and along with their skills in fighting large enemies they were able to hold off Mozar using their smaller bodies to dodge and attack in that pattern, their weapons actually putting some damage on him. He was close to the edge when he finally snapped and used his tail, slamming it into Kara, she let out a gasp, the tail hitting her middle area and felt a spike or two puncture her skin. She yelled as she was sent flying and crashed down towards the ground, feeling at least one of every body part bash against the pyramid til she lay sprawled, knocked out.
"Kara!" Dragan screamed grabbing everyone's attention as she charged him bringing out her shield and rammed into him, trying to knock him off the top. She struggled but was managing to push him back, surprising Mozar til he planted his feet and shoved forward with his head and threw her in the air, punching her down on the ground before nudging her off the top, watching her roll down.
"Kara!"
"Dragan!"
Donnie and Leo ran to the girls, Kara waking up and groaning in pain while Dragan forced herself to her knees, using her sword to help her watching as Mozar leaps down with the fragment in hand. "The first fragment belongs to Mozar." He declared as he and his soldiers fired at them everyone running from the fire while Dragan used her shield for her and Leo and Donnie covered Kara with his shell.
Mozar placed a bomb on the side of the door and grinned. "It has been set in stone." He pushed the detonator while Leo and Raph ran to stop him but it was too late the wall exploding, causing the rubble to block the doorway. "And now it is sealed in stone."
Leo and Raph struggled to move the debree while Donnie and April tended to Kara. "This should patch you up in no time." He said in a reassuring voice while stroking her cheek, smiling softly at her. She nodded as April placed a patch over the wounds and she hissed feeling something cold run inside and over the wound. "Its cold.." She glanced down seeing the patch and chuckled. "Patch, I get it." Donnie laughed softly and looked over at Dragan as Casey and Mikey help her sit down.
"I'm fine guys, really, Kara is the one who needs more help." She smiled at them reassuringly and slowly stood to her feet and walked over to Leo and Raph seeing Fugitoid levitate a large block and drop it in front of him. "Ugh low on power..."
"Ngh..we hae tae find a way oot."
"When I get my hands on those horn-headed freaks I'll-!"
"Come on, there's gotta be a back door or something. Come on, give me something. Trap door, secret passage." Leo felt along the walls of the room.
"Come on, Leo, that only happens in movies..we hae tae find another wye."
"We're losing time! They're getting away!" Donnie shouted.
Kara stood to her feet feeling better with just some aching and looked up watching April climb to the top and went to follow her figuring she had a plan in mind. When she made it April had her hands to her forehead and turned to where Kara was. "A-" Before she could finish, April pressed a blue button and suddenly they were crashing down to the ground, April having knocked herself against the wall. "April!" Kara yelled and ran to her, covering her body with her own til they reached the bottom.
When they reached the end they could see Kara and April standing up below them. "I'm ok!" April shouts, waving to them as the others join her and Kara.
"What is it, Professor?"
"It's the Soul Star. The symbol of the Aeons, containing power of life itself."
"So it was hidden away and the world turned evil. I get it now. When the Soul Star reaches the moutains peak, the light of the Aeons shall illuminate all."
"So what does it mean?"
"It means we put it bak where it belongs, Mikey, an the Aeons will return." Dragan said as April pulled the star out from the stone and when she did a secret passage made itself known. "Right, back on top of the temple." April smiled.
When they made it out they looked up to see how far the top was. "If we can reach the top, I think it'll drive off the demons. Atleast, I hope."
"You hope?! You could be totally wrong!" Raph yelled to April.
"Give her a chance, Raph."
"Yeah, it's not like we have any other options." Kara said as she took the first step til she heard the dreadful, "Oh no."
"Here they come, dudes! Move!" Mikey yelled as everyone ran towards the top. Kara slowed down when she saw Mozar by his ship with the fragment. "No! The Triceratons are getting away!" She went to go chase after them but April stopped her.
"No, we have to do this. It's not just about saving Earth. It's about saving all worlds." April said to her before continuing on to the top. Kara stared down at Mozar as he entered his ship and clenched her fists before sighing and turning back around, running to catch up with the others. "Fine."
April was close to the top when one of the creatures landed in front of her and roared in her face. "Toss me the crystal!" Raph shouted from her side and she threw it just as Mikey tackled the creature down.
"Hurry, Raphael! Whoo!" Fugitoid screamed as he was taken into the air and dropped, hitting his head as he went down.
"Almost there! Ah!" Raph was captured by one of the creatures but he threw it to Leo as he was taken and he continued forward til he was caught and then threw it to Donnie. "Donnie, catch!" As he was about to grab it one of the creatures caught it instead and soared into the sky and when it dove back to the ground Casey smacked his puck in it's face causing it to lose its grip and send it in the air.
Dragan caught it as it fell and handed it to April. "This is something ye hae tae do. Kara an I will watch your bak." April nodded to her as Kara caught up with them and all three of them made it to the top. April took a deep breath before running for the altar with Dragan and Kara on her sides, both of them punching, slicing and kicking the creatures away. When they made it Kara and Dragan stood in front of her protectively as even more creatures were now diving towards them.
"Now would be a good time to put it in, Aps!" Kara yelled as her blades were charging up. April lifted it up off the ground and slammed it inside it's hole as a surge of blue energy soared throughout the planet, changing every gross, and terrifying thing and returning it to it's beautiful form.
Kara took off her helmet as the skies cleared up and she felt a weight off her mind and took in a deep breath.
"Oh, it feels like a huge weight off my brain."
"Heh, you said it, Leo." Kara said softly as she looked up at the creatures seeing them all glow and change into beautiful white, glowing beings with angel like wings.
"The Aeons." Fugitoid whispered excitedly.
The Aeons floated down in front of them.
"Thank you. You saved us from ourselves."
"Yourselves?" April questioned.
"The demons were the Aeons all along?"
"The Utrom gave us the fragment to protect, but its immense power entranced us. We Aeons had never allowed technology on our world before. We desired to know its secrets. We began to worship its technological power, and hid away our beloved Soul, thus; corrupting our world, and us with it. We became monstrous, horrible things, we when we hid away our Star, the evil was complete. Thank you, friends, for saving our world. Take this gift." A piece of the Soul Star flew off and landed in April's hand. "It is a tiny fragment of our Soul Star. It will bring you both luck and power."
"Wow, it's beautiful." April whispered, smiling.
"Goodbye, glowy dudes!" Casey yelled as the Aeons left and they departed from the planet.
"Floor it, Fugitoid! There's still time to catch up to the Triceratons." Leo ordered, Fugitoid using their warp to leave the system.
"Whoa, bros, what an adventure." Mikey said as he laid back.
"The Utrom made a big mistake when they trusted the fragment with those guys." Raph stated.
"Yeah, if ancient, cosmic beings can be transformed like that, I guess that goes to show anyone can be corrupted by power."
"Well, you guys got to think of it this way; The Aeons never allowed technology on their planet so the fragment was the first piece of technology they every saw."
"An wi their curiosity driving them tae knowing it's secrets it would only be a matter o' time before pure creatures such as them would fall tae the power o' it."
"Yeah, but someone who knows about it would know how to use and control it. It only depends on if that person is power hungry and wants control." Kara stood and stretched as she walked towards the door. "I'm going to get some shut eye. That battle drained me. See ya." She waved bye to them all but glanced towards April seeing her look at the shard curiously but shook her head and left.
