"Finally, a little action! Check out all the ships!" Raph yelled as they made their way towards their destination.
"Dudes, Zayfod's Cantina is bumping! I bet their food is...out of this world."
Kara giggled while Dragan rolled her eyes with a smile on her face. "Wow, the place is huge!" Kara said as she leaned close to the glass at the cantina. "An beautiful." Dragan smiled looking at the place.
"That joke is older than the rings of Morvuz-9!" Fugitoid said seeming as though he's heard more times than he wish he had.
"So why are we going here again?" Leo stepped up to Fugitoid while looking over at the girls.
"I promised to find a way to break into the Triceraton Mothership, did I not? If you want to steal the first piece of the Black Hole Generator, the first steps is to-"
"Distract them with pepperoni!" Mikey yelled while raising a stick of pepperoni. "Look at the size of this!"
"Mikey, pay attention!" Raph shouted from behind him. "This is important stuff! Ugh. Continue, Professor." Raph seemed to calm down unaware that Mikey was now right beside him and swung the pepperoni as it made a whacking sound across Raph's head and Raph was now chasing a laughing Mikey.
Kara was laughing as well, leaning against the glass. "Wow, I wonder what it's like in that little head of his." She sighed softly, wiping away an invisible tear but blinked up at Dragan noticing she seemed a bit distracted. "Hey, Dre.." She gave her a gentle nudge and watched her blink in surprise and look down at her.
"Oh, sorry, yes, what is it?"
"You ok? You seem a bit.." She trailed off when Fugitoid began to speak again.
"The first step is to acquire a schematic of the Mothership from a shady information dealer named Vrax Belebome."
"So where do we find this guy?" Casey asked from one of the stations.
"In a place where Terrans are not welcome. You girls and Casey will have to stay behind."
"WHAT?! HOW COME?!" Kara yelled, standing up straight.
"Aww, come on! Stay behind?!"
"Grrr, this is alien racism!" Casey pointed at Fugitoid but suddenly slid down the back of the chair and fell on his back. "Whoa!"
Kara flinched at the thud and sighed softly, smacking her forehead.
"We'll stay here.." April sighed as well.
Once the guys and Fugitoid left, Dragan stood while rubbing the back of her neck. "I'm going tae tak a nap while their gone. Wake me when thay geit bak, k?"
"Sure, we'll be here...doing nothing.."
Dragan changed into some shorts and a t-shirt before climbing into a sleep pod and closed the door, closing her eyes to relax and get some well deserved shut eye. She slept calmly til her eyelids were clenched, she was tossing and turning, sweat sliding down her head and she suddenly gasped, waking up with a start and immediately opened the pod and took heavy breaths, feeling as if the air was being choked out of her.
She climbed out and went to the bathroom, splashing cold water in her face, her fingers slowly sliding off her eyes. "Every night..why does it happen every night.." She lowered her head, tears in her eyes and covered them with her hand. "At least the others are heavy sleepers..specially Kara. We hae more important things tae worry about.." She blinked when she heard a knock at the door. "What is it?"
"Hey, the guys are back. Turns out the shady part of "shady information dealer" was true." Kara rolled her eyes while leaning against the wall. When she heard the door open she stood up straight but blinked noticing something different about Dragan. "Hey, you ok? You look tired."
"Hmm? Oh, it's the sleep pods. Still not use tae them. He needs tae make them more roomy an possibly add some color tae them." Dragan brushed off her question with a shrug.
"I knoow you can't truly get comfortable in them unless you're like a vampire or something. Anyway's let's go." Kara smiled at her forgetting the dark circles under her eyes and hunched figure as they left for the entertainment room where they all were at.
"Wow. Sounds like a real class act. I thought you knew this guy, Professor."
"Guess you don't know someone until you hand them a large sum of money and for them to want even more." Kara added in as she sat down between April and Fugitoid.
"Should've smashed that mouth-farter for trying to jack us!" Raph growled.
"Mouth-farter?" Dragan raised a brow with a soft chuckle.
"Anyways, we may be back where we started, but we'll find another way. Let's blow off some steam in the holo-room."
"Yeah, I'm up for that." Kara grinned, jumping to her feet and ran next to Donnie.
"You down for some training, Mikey? Dragan?" Leo looked between the two.
"Nah, I'm gonna chill and scope some Chris Bradford and his 2Ruff Crew."
"I'll set this one out as well." She sat next to Mikey and yawned softly, leaning back against the couch.
Dragan giggled softly at the show and was beginning to feel relaxed when she heard Mikey snoring. She rolled her eyes and bent down grabbing his shell where the Neutrinos were at and went to put him on the couch but the grease from the pizza slices made her hand slip and not only forced her on her butt but it also sent the Neutrinos flying off Mikey and straight into her mouth, accidentally swallowing them.
She suddenly stood to her feet having a coughing fit and grabbed Mikey's soda and took a couple of sips. "Uggh..what was..." She began feeling nauseous and soon her eyes were heavy and she lost her balance, falling backwards onto the couch, dropping the soda on the floor. "Mikey..." She whispered before passing out.
As soon as his name escaped her lips Mikey opened his eyes and looked around curiously seeing the show had ended and Dragan had fallen asleep. Shrugging his shoulders he went back to the show, eating the pizza as if nothing was wrong.
Kara and the others walked in after their training and looked over seeing Mikey staring at a sleeping Dragan. "Oh, good, she's finally having a nap...why didn't I think to sleep here?..Oh yeah..you guys hog this room all the time instead of using the pods." Kara crossed her arms and went to go get her a blanket.
"Mikey, leave Dragan alone, she's probably exhausted." Leo said and went to lay her down when he jumped back in surprise.
"What is it, Leo?" Donnie asked noticing his expression.
"She..she's cold."
"Well, duh." Raph rolled his eyes but blinked when Leo stared down at his hands in worry.
"No, she's cold..ice cold..and sweaty." Leo moved to Dragan and lifted her up, noticing her breathing was quicker than normal.
"Something's wrong with her." Mikey said as if it were as clear as day.
"Let me see.." Fugitoid stood in front of him and scanned her closely. "Oh dear, I'm afraid our dear Dragan's mind has been infiltrated by Neutrinos."
"Neutral subatomic particles?" Donnie questioned just as Kara entered the room with a blanket.
"No, Neutrinos is just a nickname due to their microscopic size. No one knows their real name-"
"We don't need their whole backstory!" Raph shouted, annoyed. "What the heck do they want?"
"In short, her mind."
"Wait, what's going on? Who is after whose mind?" Kara asked as she stepped closer to the others and noticed everyone was around Dragan with Leo holding her. "...What's going on?"
"An alien is inside Dragan's mind called a Neutrino." April filled her in.
"What?!" Kara shrieked, dropping the blanket.
Fugitoid cleared his throat and continued what he was saying. "Every person has an inner self deep in their consciousness. The Neutrinos track down and remove this inner self, stealing all of her knowledge and memories. Leaving the victim a mindless shell."
"What?! Why would they do that to her?! Why would they go after her in the first place?! No one knows about us!"
"Maybe it was the Bellybomb guy? Maybe they were meant to go after Mikey but she somehow intervened and they moved inside her by accident?"
"How do we save her?" Leo raised his voice starting to become more worried after hearing about them.
"I have a plan to save her, but it's going to require a little psychic help." Fugitoid looked over at April who gave him a nod.
"...I don't know about this." Raph muttered nervously staring at the large tube stuck to his forehead, as well as the guys and Kara.
"Well..this doesn't feel weird at all.." Kara said looking cross-eyed at the thing.
"Well, the theory is sound. April will psychically project you into Dragan's mind. You must stop the Neutrinos from taking her inner self at all cost!"
"I have always been curious what the inside of Dragan's mind must be like, though I'm more curious about yours, Mikey." Kara chuckled, looking over at him.
"It's a beautiful place, Kara." Mikey said with a happy-go-lucky smile.
"I'll do what I can to help guide you through in case you need assistance." April said having her hands on the side of Dragan's head, a tube connected to her forehead as well.
"Remember, if the Neutrinos destroy you inside her mind, your body here will be reduced to a vegetative state. See you when you get back." Fugitoid gave them a smile and a wave.
"Wait, what?!" All of them shouted as Fugitoid pulled the lever and they were suddenly zoned out.
They were all in sudden darkness.
"Are we there yet?" Kara asked looking around though wasn't sure if she was.
"Whoa, hey, who was that?" Donnie felt himself bump into someone and backed away.
"Woo! Who touched my butt?!" Mikey jumped, holding onto his butt.
"I really hope that wasn't me..." Raph groaned, curling around himself to keep from touching anyone or anything.
"Wait..I see a light up ahead..it..it looks like a door. Come on guys." Leo said, a light becoming visible to them all and followed behind them. They reached a pure white door with a symbol of a dragon with it's wings stretched out.
"I guess this is the doorway to her mind." Kara whispered and placed her hand on Leo's shoulder. "Go ahead. Open it."
Leo looked at her and gave a nod as he reached for the doorknob and slowly turned it. As the door opened their eyes were wide and mouth agape in shock.
"No way..." Mikey whispered.
"It's..It's.." Donnie tried to finish his sentence but his brain wouldn't work from seeing the scenery.
"It's beautiful." Kara finished as they stared at a farm with large acres filled with different animals ranging from Highland Cattle, Clydesdale Horses, sheep, pigs, and chickens. Behind the farm was a huge forest that seemed to surround the land but what their eyes were on were the moutains behind it. A scenery neither of them had ever saw and it was a truly beautiful sight.
"Woooooah..is..is this her grandparent's place?" Kara asked in awe. "It's almost like my aunt's place back in Michigan but..it's way more cooler here. I mean, some of the animals look different!"
Before they continue to enjoy the scenery a large roar shook the area and caused them to stumble around some.
"What the heck was that?!" Raph and the others looked around to try and find the source.
Kara squinted her eyes at the forest, noticing a fog inside it and went to take a step forward but was stopped by Leo. "Come on, let's see if her inner self is inside the barn." "Yeah, ok." She nodded and followed him and the others but not without taking another glance at the forest.
Leo took a deep breath unsure of what they might find on the other side but blinked when he heard giggling and opened the door, all of them piling in, to see a young Dragan with hair even more poofy than now wearing a bucket on her head, pillows taped to her arms and chest, and was holding a pitchfork and pointing it at the eating cow.
"Be warned, ye devil! For I, Dragan the Knight, will vanqish ye an protect this world from your evil tei-terri-...evil! Hi-yah!" She stabbed the pitchfork into a pile of hay and struggled to lift it up and toss it over the gate for the cows to consume but ended up falling on her butt from the weight and the hay went all over the place.
The guys and Kara covered their mouths trying to keep their giggles and laughs inside from how cute Dragan was acting when a six foot three man came in looking to be in his sixties but still had some muscle from his youth. "Little one, what are ye doin'?" He asked gently, bending over and helping her on her feet having similar curly hair as Dragan's but his was more tame and had gray blended in with red hair.
Kara squinted her eyes and blinked when she saw he had the same color eyes as Dragan.
"I was tryin' tae help wi the chores is all..honest." Little Dragan pouted, looking up at him.
The man looked around seeing the mess and shook his head with a smile on his face. "Ye shouldn't be doing chores like these without someone watching ye or ye could geit yourself hurt. Remember, "A knight does not risk his life aimlessly, but trains his body an mind tae complete a task." Ye need tae start off small, little one." He picked up the pitchfork and stabbed it into the hay pile, lifting up a large amount and threw it over the gate, the hay landing right in front of the bored looking cows, mooing in thanks. "Come now, the chickens need to be fed." He took his hand and lead her towards them where the door was.
"Those chickens are mean bunch o' critters. I will need ma shield tae fend them off." Dragan ran off ahead of him and phased right through the guys and Kara, the man chuckling softly and following after her, their image fading once they passed through the door.
"Little Dragan is so cute!" Mikey squealed, his hands on his cheeks in excitement.
"A knight even as a child." Kara giggled.
Leo smiled softly looking where she last was and went to take a step forward til a large Dragon crashed into the farm. Red scales glistened in the light as it stood to it's feet.
"Holy-"
"Chalupa!" Donnie screamed, finishing Raph's train of thought.
"A dragon?!" Leo yelled in surprise as it's glaring eyes stared right into the forest til it turned and looked right at them, Leo recognizing the different colored eyes. "Dragan?"
"G-Guys? What are y-I don't hae time for this! Ye shouldn't be here!" The Dragon raced off into the forest before they could say anything.
"Dragan, wait!" Leo went to go after her but passed a that was dark and stopped, going back to it to see it was nighttime and gasped, seeing the sky full of stars with a full moon. "Oh wow.." He stepped closer and he saw Dragan, looking a little older, sitting on the porch with her grandpa, who aged as well, stargazing.
"You're growin' up tae be a beautiful knight, ma little one. Heh, guess I can't call ye that anymore." Her grandpa chuckled making Dragan giggle but blink as he bent over and seemed to struggle lifting something up from his side but instead pushed it to her feet. "Happy Birthday, Dragan." He said smiling happily.
Curious, she bent down and unwrapped the box, opening it to reveal the sword and shield of her ancestor. "No way..this...this is for me?" She looked up at him in surprise and when he nodded, now grinning, and laughed seeing her excited reaction. "Oh ma gosh! I cannae believe it! Thank ye so much, grandpa!"
Suddenly, her grandma jumped out with her favorite cake, shouting, "Happy Birthday, love! Ooch, Hubert! Ye were suppose tae wait tae give her the presents! Now I look so silly." Her grandma, Trisha sighed with a pout making Dragan laugh and run up to them, hugging them tightly. "I love ya both!" She squeezed them tight feeling tears in her eyes. Trisha smiled and set the cake on the table as both the grandparents hugged her close.
Leo was pulled out by Kara, who witnessed the memory as well but was able to snap out of it. "Leo, that dragon must of been her inner self. Something seems to be troubling her."
"It's possibly the Neutrinos." Donnie added in making Kara nod.
"We need to get to her before they do."
Leo nodded and all of them raced towards the forest not paying any mind to the fog at their feet. Instead of roars of a dragon, they heard grunts and the sounds of battle and ran faster til they came to a clearing where Dragan stood in knight's armor that looked like the ones from when they met Renet but something was off. Dragan looked exhausted, panting heavily as she stared at her foe in front of her.
"Dragan!" Leo and Kara shouted as everyone ran to her aid, standing around her, but was startled seeing exactly what she was fighting.
Standing in front of them was a tall, dark horse with glowing red eyes, massive hooves, and a darkened fog surrounding it. It huffed out smoke from it's muzzle, it's eyes concentrated on Dragan and her alone.
"Guys.." She whispered, falling to her knees. "I-I cannae do it anymore. I can't fight it." She squeezed her eyes shut, tears falling to the ground as the horse let out a loud whinny and charged for them.
The guys and Kara got into position, ready to fight the thing when the Neutrino's jumped out of nowhere and forced them back and away from Dragan.
"What the?! They were here the whole time?" Kara yelled, skidding to a halt.
"They must of been waiting for the thing to weaken Dragan before taking away her memories." Donnie determined.
"Grrr, keep them away from her!" Leo ordered as they fought them off.
"Leo, the horse!" Raph shouted as it charged right at Dragan but instead of her being thrown back, she was engulfed in the fog that seemed to spread out to them. Everyone covered their eyes at the fog and blinked when they were unable to see anything.
"Guys? Donnie? Leo?" Kara called out.
"I'm over here!" Donnie yelled to get her attention.
"Me too!" Mikey called next as she followed their voices. "Raph?" She yelled only to bump into him and fall on the ground. "Woah, watch where you're going." Raph said calmly, helping her to her feet.
"Thanks." She dusted herself off and looked around. "Where's Leo?" She suddenly jumped hearing the laser blasters and went to dodge but saw nor felt anything, only hearing the sounds. When she took a step forward some of the fog moved to make a small clearing and she could see it was New York during the invasion. Dragan running through the streets fighting off the Kraang with a small group of survivors only for some of the people in the group to get mutated. Dragan's screams were drowned out by those of the people and the sound of Kraang weapons firing.
"What the.." Kara whispered softly taking a step back and gasped to see Dragan curled around herself in bed wearing Leo's old mask, clutching the sides of her head, crying, whispering to make it stop.
"Dragan.." Kara went to reach a hand out to her but was stopped by Donnie, shaking his head softly. "These are memories..there's nothing we can do."
"I know what this is.." Raph whispered, looking down at the weeping Dragan with sorrow. "It's-"
"Depression." Mikey said surprising all of them. He turned to her hearing the words, "It's my fault. I wasn't strong enough to protect the weak." and closed his eyes. Feeling a hand on his shoulder he looked over to see Raph giving him a soft smile and a gentle squeeze.
"I can't believe I didn't notice...all this time..she's been fighting this for so long and..I should of been a better friend. We have to go save her now." Kara said through teary eyes and went to go search for her.
"Wait, we need to find Leo first." Donnie said, grabbing her arm.
"You and I both know he's looking for Dragan was well. He probably already found her by now. Come on!" Kara grabbed his hand instead and they all went further into the fog trying to find where Dragan was.
Leo raced to the spot he last saw Dragan and when he finally found her he stopped in his tracks to see her no longer the knight he saw but instead a little girl sitting down staring at nothing, her eyes completely blank, with the horse's muzzle to her ear seeming to be whispering to her.
"Hey get away from her!" Leo shouted, bringing out his sword.
The horse's head snapped up and glared at him as it stepped over Dragan. hufffing out more fog. Leo narrowed his eyes, raising his sword to the side of his face. "Get away from her. Now." His voice low and deep meaning he was serious.
The horse raised it's front hooves with a whinny and sent a ray of fog at Leo. As he raised his sword high and brought it down to strike, it dispersed away from his sword and flew right at Leo and into his eyes. "Argh!" He yelled, dropping his sword as his hands went to his eyes but blinked when he felt no pain. He looked around curiously and saw an image of Dragan as a kid, no older than ten, sitting down alone in a kitchen with a candle lit cupcake in front of her. A light sniffle caught his attention as he drew closer he could hear her singing "Happy Birthday" to herself.
Suddenly, the crash of thunder and lightning came from out the window, causing Dragan to scream and immediately hide under the table, shaking in fear as she began to recite the code of the knights her grandpa told her.
"Dragan.." Leo whispered as he went to reach out for her but the image faded to when she and Leo were separated during the second invasion and seeing him again battered and bruised by Shredder. "Dragan, it's me, Leo! I'm here for you!" He shouted at the top of his lungs, his eyes becoming clear now and able to see her and the horse again. "I won't leave you again, I promise!"
Little Dragan slowly raised their head towards him but didn't say a word. The horse narrowed it's eyes at him and sent another attack at him, now showing him her experience when she stayed behind; the fear and anxiety of not knowing what the next day will bring, running out of supplies as well as survivors, and being the only one the others could rely on. She lowered her head and curled up into a ball as the horse lowered it's head, continuing it's whispers of deceit.
"Don't listen to it, Dragan! You don't have to face it alone anymore! I'm here for you as well as Kara, Mikey, Donnie, Raph, April, and Casey! We all can help you!" Leo shouted, shaking off the fear that was emitting from her. "Remember your friends!"
Dragan lifted her head as the memory of meeting Kara and the guys for the first time came to and a small smile crossed her face as the fog was starting to disappear.
"Yeah! Remember the times we'd fix the Shellraiser together? You were the first person who shared the knowledge and enjoyed working with me without having to be bribed!" Donnie yelled as he and the others came into view.
"Or or the dance contests! You've got some moves, girl!" Mikey smiled brightly.
"And how we kicked the butt of The Kraang and Purple Dragons." Raph smirked, crossing his arms.
"We care about you, Dragan. If you need help please tell us! We're best friends after all." They all moved around Leo as he stepped forward, Dragan now her original self and brought her close in an embrace.
"Leo.." She whispered softly, the color returning to her eyes and bringing her arms around him. She looked around and saw the others placing their hands on her shoulders and back, smiling at her. She smiled at them and began to laugh, tears falling down her face as she hugged him tighter, the fog now gone.
Kara looked up and saw the Neutrinos heading their way and she moved in front of her protectively, getting into her fighting position. "Guys, their back!"
The others looked and followed Kara, standing in a line in front of Dragan, their weapons out and ready.
"We'll protect you, Dragan." Donnie said as all of them charged the Neutrinos.
Leo watched them and turned around, blinking as he felt lips over his. When he looked up he saw Dragan, now in her armor, standing up and smiling down at him. "Thank you, Leo. I can handle it from here." She stroked his cheek softly and turned to face the horse, bringing her sword out. "Go help your brothers."
"No, I'm with you til the end." Leo stood at her side and smiled. Dragan stared at him for a moment then looked over at her friends fighting and placed her hand to her heart, a warm feeling emitting from her chest. "You guys..mean so much to me...thank you.." She smiled softly and took a step forward as her inner self returned to it's normal dragon form.
As the horse went to charge for them, Dragan stomped her front foot in front of Leo protectively and roared loudly before moving to attack, Leo right behind her.
Kara slid backwards with her arms crossed over her face having blocked one of the Neutrinos attacks. "Man, these guys are tough!"
"Their bodies aren't just made of armor. They're not created entirely out of physical matter, they're also partly mental too."
"Just like us!" Raph yelled looking over at Donnie.
"Which means..." Mikey placed his hand to his chin in thought.
Kara sighed and looked over at Leo and Dragan. "Dragan! We need assistance in fighting these things!" Kara jumped back with a start as a Neutrino brought it's massive fist down onto the ground.
"They're inside your mind! With your help we can beat these jerks once and for all!" Raph finished.
Dragan dodged an attack as the horse shape-shifted into a massive bear and attacked her with it's claws, letting out a roar. She closed her eyes for a moment and smirked, glancing towards the others. "Reinforcements are on their way."
Suddenly, Drago Macintosh came into view in full knights armor alongside TigerClaw, Slash, and Leatherhead. Drago pointed his sword at the Neutrinos and shouted, "Charge!" All of them shouting their battlecries as they charged into battle, helping the guys and Kara with the Neutrinos.
Dragan clawed, bit, and used her tail the fight off the beast as it tried to retaliate but she left no room for it to do so and she used her front claws to pin it against a tree. When it tried to retreat Leo swooped in and sliced it's head clean off. With a painful cry it shrunk down to nothing but a black orb in front of her. She closed her eyes and trapped it in a box before going to help her friends out.
As the guys, Kara, and Dragan's team finished off the last of the Neutrino's Dragan stomped up to them and with a loud roar, used her tail and smacked them right out of her memories and out of her mind once and for all.
They all gathered around Dragan, smiling at her when she turned her back to them, walking over to the imprisoned orb.
"Is there a way to get rid of it?" Kara asked softly.
Dragan shrugged but looked up feeling the world around them stir. "I am about tae wake up. Don't worry guys, I know what tae do. See ya on the other side." She smiled brightly showing off her fangs as they faded away and were forced out of her dreams.
Dragan slowly woke up seeing everyone around her and sat up, rubbing her head. "Whoa guys, I just had the weirdest dream.."
"Eh, it technically wasn't a dream.." Kara said slowly, rubbing the back of her head.
"The Neutrinos are very real. They were sent to rob your mind by Belebome."
"Well, sort of. They were intentionally going after Mikey but you somehow got caught in the middle and you took his place." Leo said nervously.
"Speaking of that guy, I say we give that alien another visit and show him how we take care of business." Raph smirked, punching his fist into his palm.
"Yeah! Anyone who messes with my friends messes with me!" Mikey shouted, pointing at himself with pride.
"I think you mean, "deals with me", Mikey." Donnie said in a whispery voice.
"What he said!" Mikey shouted causing Leo and Donnie to shake their heads with a sigh and Raph to smack his forehead with a groan.
While the boys were taking care of business, Kara and Dragan were sitting in the bedroom talking about what happened.
"Ya know..even after aw that happened..I slept pretty good." She said in a light tone but lowered her voice when Kara wasn't too thrilled.
"Why..why didn't you tell us? Why didn't you tell me? After everything we had been through..why couldn't you share your pain with me? I..I thought we were friends..that we could share anything."
"Because I had tae be strong..I've just been strong for so long..I forgot how tae let people in..an seeing you havin' it just as rough..I didn't want tae add something that wasn't yours tae burden." Dragan lowered her head in shame.
"That's a load of crap."
Dragan blinked and shot her head up in Kara's direction, surprised to see her in tears.
"What kind of friend do you think I am? You being a burden has never crossed my mind once. You're the only one I know understands what I've been through, what I feel. That's why I share these things with you! I thought you would think the same..If you're scared then I'll be scared with you. If you're angry then we'll both kick whoever's butt needs to be kicked! If you're feeling sad then..let me in and share that sadness. You're not alone anymore, Dragan. You don't have to be strong by yourself." Kara pulled her into a tight, tears falling down her cheek.
Dragan's eyes widen and she grabbed onto tightly, crying loudly in her shoulder. "I'm...I'm sorry!"
That night everyone slept in the bedroom with the sleeping pods but Dragan couldn't sleep, still uncomfortable in them and went to the entertainment room to sleep on the couch when she saw Leo just idly watching TV. He blinked when he saw her and smiled, patting the seat next to him.
She gladly took the seat and leaned against him as he put his arm around her. He pulled up the blanket so she was covered and tilted her head up to look at him and smiled softly noticing her eyes didn't look so dead and tired anymore. He leaned down and gave her a gentle kiss on her lips which she gladly accepted.
When they parted she snuggled up close to him and began to relax, closing her eyes.
"So, a dragon, huh?" He asked softly with a smile, making her giggle.
Sooo? Whatcha think? I know a few people suggested going into Kara's mind instead but..there's nothing to that she hides from them.
