I don't know how much time I have! My wi-fi has been on the fritz and will only let me connect for a short amount of time. I hope I make it.. Anyways, we're returning home! Yaaaay!
"Oh, look at it. The Milky Way in all of her ineffable glory." Donnie whispered softly, staring out the window in awe.
"It's a sure sign that we're close..close to home and everyone." Kara placed her hand on the window her body trembling in excitement to see her parents, sister, and friends again.
"Yes! We're heading back to Earth!" Casey placed his arms over both their shoulders, grinning ear to ear making Kara smile wide.
"Master Splinter, New York City, pizza, Ice Cream Kitty! Whoo-hoo-hoo! Yeah!"
"I'll finally get to see Dad again. Feels like it's been a lifetime." April smiled looking over at Dragan.
"Once this is over wi the first thing I'm goin' tae do is call ma grandparents." Dragan was smiling ear to ear feeling the excitement of heading back home.
Mikey and Casey stood back to back playing the air guitar but stopped when Leo came into view.
"Guys, this isn't a celebration. We've got one last shot to stop the Triceratons, or we're not gonna have a home to go back to."
"Leonardo is correct. This is our final chance to capture the Black Hole Generator. We cannot travel back in time again. If we fail...Earth is doomed."
"We won't let you down, Professor." Kara clenched her fist with a grin on her face.
"We'll do whatever it takes to stop them, even if it means sacrificing our own lives." Raph looked down but heard a noise coming from his shoulder to see Chompy letting out a small chortle. "Ah, don't worry, little guy. I'm not going anywhere."
"We aw know the risks, Professor, we know what needs tae be done n' order tae save our home." Dragan nodded to Fugitoid then to Leo giving him a smile.
"We're gonna mad crazy on these alien freaks, right?" Casey asked, with his hands out and an excited grin on his face.
"Heck yeah!"
"For Earth!"
"Say it, brother!"
"Let's do this!"
"Yeah, boy!"
"Hoo-rah!"
Everyone was doing their own thing on the bridge when Raph asked the question they all wanted to answer to.
"So, how are we gonna take down the Black Hole Generator if it's invulnerable to everything?"
"There is a way. But the entire Heart of Darkness must be destroyed. Not a single piece must remain."
"What's wrong, Professor? I can sense you want to tell us something." April asked, turning to him.
"My friends, I must confess something to you, something I couldn't reveal until you got to know better as a humanoid err..android."
Kara and Dragan both looked at each other worriedly and stood up, going towards the Professor."
"What are you talking about, Fugidude?" Casey questioned in confusion.
"You see, it was not the Kraang who invented the Black Hole Generator. It was..I who created it."
"What?!"
"It can't be!"
"That doesn't make sense!"
"Wait, guys.."
"Listen tae his story.." Dragan and Kara stood side by side with Fugitoid looking at the others with worry but kept their calm before letting the Professor continue on.
"I originally developed the Black Hole Generator as an energy source. But when Kraang Subprime offered me a huge price to buy it, I gave in. I was greedy. I didn't care what they wanted to use it for. It was all about the money, all about financing my research...And then I realized what a terrible decision I had made. I mean, seriously, come on. They're the Kraang!"
"..That is messed up, yo!" Casey looked away in anger while Leo walked up to him. "Fugitoid how could you? You lied to us! Everything was a lie!"
"He did not, Leo!" Kara stepped in front of him while Donnie tried to hold him back. "He was just tryin' tae fix his mistake."
"Wait, did you two know about this?" Raph walked up, pointing at them. Kara and Dragan looked at each other and closed their eyes.
-After the rescue from the Triceraton fleet-
"Thanks, Professor." Kara smiled at him and looked up to see Dragan enter the room, having closed the door behind her.
"Professor, if I may ask a question.."
"Go ahead, Dragan." He said while wiping invisible dust off his hands.
"Did...Did ye build the Black Hole Generator?"
"Oh dear...you heard back there with the Emperor?"
"It's kinda hard not tae hear when you're right next tae each other." Dragan chuckled before walking over to them. "Ye still hae nae answered ma question, Professor.." She spoke softly, sitting down next to them.
He sighed softly and nodded his head. "Yes, I did.."
"What?!" Kara's eyes widen and she stood to her feet forgetting her sore leg for the moment til a jolt of pain caused her to bend over and hiss, lifting the leg up some to keep pressure off it. "So everything that has happened..is your fault? Losing Earth..watching my friends and family die was because of you?" She stared at Fugitoid in shock before grabbing his shoulders and throwing him onto the bed, Dragan jumping in surprise and went to hold her back til she noticed her shoulders were trembling.
Despite the robotic facial expressions fear was written all over his face til he let out a soft gasp as a tear dropped down on his face. "How...how could you, Professor?" He looked up seeing a mixture of anger and sadness.
"I'm sorry..I truly am.." His voice was weak and pained as he lowered his arms. "I thought with what money I was given..I could further my research and do something good..and the price the Kraang gave was an opportunity I could not pass..when I realized what a huge mistake I made..it was too late. Please...I have tried so hard to fix this but I could not do it alone.."
Kara took a step back seeing just how vulnerable he looked as he sat up, hunched over, guilt etched on his face.
Dragan took a step forward. "Why didn't ye tell us sooner?"
"I was afraid..afraid of what you all would think of me with just being a machine and all..and after everything we have been through..you all have grown to be my friends..please, you mustn't tell the others. When the time is right..I will tell them everything."
Dragan stared at him for a moment before placing a hand on his shoulder. "I know this wasnae easy for ya..we won't tell them."
"Are you kidding?! They deserve to know! They're home was destroyed too because of him!" Kara yelled in anger, glaring at her but blinked when Dragan looked at her in calm yet sad way. "He's been fightin' his demons for so long cause o' this..an he's given us, our home, a second chance tae survive the attack. Kara..ye an I both know what he's done for us an what he will continue tae do.."
Kara looked at her speechless then over to Fugitoid who had some hope in his eyes looking from the two girls. "Grr..how can you be so calm about this?!"
"A good knight looks at the two perspectives o' a situation. Thay think before thay act." She tapped the side of her head and smiled some having a feeling what Kara was going to say.
"Bu-But...he...grrrr," She squeezed her eyes shut while grabbing the side of her head and let out an angry yell knowing she was right..as usual. "Fine! I forgive you! There, you happy?! And I won't tell the others!" Kara turned around, crossing her arms while giving an angry pout.
Dragan looked to Fugitoid and smiled as he stared at them eye's wide in shock. He stood to his feet and hugged Dragan tightly then moved to Kara, hugging her from behind making her blink in surprise. "Thank you, my friends.." Fugitoid whispered softly. Kara sighed softly but turned and put an arm around him and brought him closer. Now that her head had cooled off she hugged him completely.
-Back to reality-
"How could you do this to us?!" Leo shouted staring at the two in anger. "How could you not tell us this?!"
"Because we made a promise." Kara closed her eyes, sighing softly.
"Fugitoid wanted tae tell ye aw when he was ready. He has done more than what we could imagine for us."
"They're right, Leo. The Professor's saved our lives over and over." Donnie spoke softly trying to reason with his angry brother.
He gave us another chance. His heart was in the right place." April added in.
"He doesn't have a heart. He's a robot!" Raph yelled.
"That's enough, Raph! You have no right to say that!" Kara pointed angrily at him.
"Earth wouldn't have been destroyed, this insane space chase wouldn't be happening if you didn't build that thing in the first place!" Leo shoved Kara aside and stood in front of Fugitoid, who had his head lowered in shame.
"I-I was a different humanoid all those centuries ago. I've changed. I'm trying to make up for my mistakes."
"Mistakes?!" Leo was about to get in Fugitoid's face when Mikey came in and got in between them. "Calm down, bro. Give Fugitoid a chance. Isn't that something we've all learned by now? To give someone a second chance?"
Dragan walked up to Leo and placed her hand on his shoulder."Remember what Master Splin-"
"You have no right to say his name!" Leo shoved Dragan's hand off his shoulder and walked away. "I don't want to be a part of Fugitoid's plans anymore. I'll come up with my own plan to take down the Triceratons."
Dragan watched him leave and looked down at her hand, sighing softly but looked up when the alarms started flashing.
"Triceratons are up ahead..." Kara said bringing up their ship on the screen.
"Then there's only one thing to do.." Raph said as he and Casey got into position.
"A direct assault is futile! And odds are we'll be the ones assaulted." Fugitoid yelled in panic.
"We got no choice, Fugitoid."
"Yeah, thanks to you." Casey stood up, pointing at Fugitoid making him lower his head in sadness. "I..understand."
"Are you guys trying to get us killed? There's gotta another way to do this." Kara stood, glaring over at Raph and Casey.
"This is all we can come up with! If you can pull a new plan out of your butt, I'm all ears." Raph glared back and looked up as a group of Raptors came into view and started firing on them.
"Wait, Leo?..He never came back!" Donnie noticed and Dragan lifted her head up to look around for him.
"Leo, come in. Answer your comm! Oh, no, he's about to do something really stupid."
Dragan brought up the cameras to see him getting inside the scout ship. "Leo! Don't do this!"
"Yeah, we need you up here, bro!" Mikey shouted next to Dragan.
"Don't you guys get it? Fugitoid's using us to get his Black Hole Machine. I know what needs to be done." Leo said as he placed his helmet over his head entering the ship.
"No, you don't! You're letting your emotions cloud your judgment!" Kara yelled.
"Leo, think rationally. You can't bring down their mother ship with the scout shop." Leo turns off the comms, ignoring everyone's calls. They think he didn't know what he was doing but he was going to prove them wrong. He flew the ship at full speed towards the mother ship only for Raptors to intervene but shot them out of the sky one by one. "Oh, yeah! Eat it!" He shouted as another one exploded and flew straight for the mother ship once more. He made to the mother ship and began firing at it where ever he could but more Raptors came in and shot at him, causing the ship to flail around, Leo losing control for a moment, but was able to get back in control and headed for the top where Mozar was. He glared at where Mozar was and went to fire only for a surprise attack from hidden Raptors. "Uh-oh.." The lasers made contact and the ship exploded into pieces, but Leo looked unharmed.
"Leo..."
"Wait, there he is!" Kara pointed while zooming the cameras up close.
"...Somethin's wrong..." Dragan's eyes widen in fright when she saw his helmet break and burst into pieces. "LEO!"
"After him! Quick!" Donnie yelled as everyone went into action.
"Rock rockets coming in fast. Full power to shields! Brace for impact!" Fugitoid yelled as they were hit and the ship flew out of control towards Mars.
"We missed him! Hurry!" Dragan yelled in panic.
"Ah, come on! Work!" Raph yelled while banging his fist on his console.
"We got to save Leo!"
"Professor, do something!" Donnie screamed.
"Don't you think I'm trying? Or do you think I enjoy plummeting straight for the surface of Mars?"
"Oh, no. Controls are frozen!" Donnie yelled as the ship was diving out of control towards Mars.
"Dark matter convertors failing. Power depleting. Brain spinning!" Fugitoid was in panic as his head literally began to spin.
"Leo was right. He's useless." Casey muttered to Raph.
"Hey, I heard that!" Kara shouted in anger. "Professor! Calm down! You can get us out of this!" She shouted to him hoping he heard her through his distorted jibber-jabber.
"Blee-buu-buu..Activating secondary systems. Overriding controls. Sending dark matter to the thrusters!" Just before the ship could crash onto the surface, the thrusters came back to life with a boom and they went soaring into the sky.
"Yes! You did it, Professor!"
"Now, come on! We got to save Leo!"
"I've got him on scanner. He's right up ahead." Fugitoid flew the ship directly above Leo and immediately brought him inside with the tractor beam. Donnie bent down beside him while the others were around him, Donnie scanning for any life.
"Do something, Donnie!"
"His heart...stand back!" Donnie jumped to his feet and attached a wire to Leo's chest and pressed a button that sent an electric shock through out his body, shocking him back to life. "Ugghh.." Leo looked disoriented til everyone gathered around him, Mikey hugging him tight. "Leo! You're back! I thought you were a goner, dude."
"You crazy jerk!" Kara grabbed his shoulders and began to shake him like a ragdoll having Donnie and Dragan hold her back.
Dragan immediately helped him up and hugged him tight before slapping him across the face. "What were ye thinking?! Do ya know how stupid an dangerous that was?! Ye almost died! Don't ye think we want tae save Earth just as badly as ye? We cannae do this without ya, Leo! Don't ye understand that?!" She shook him violently Donnie and Kara having to hold her back when Leo saw the tears fall down her face. "Can't ye think for one second how your actions will effect us..how it'll effect me?"
"You got to chill out, man. Enough with the crazy one-man missions. Leaders are called leaders because they're suppose to lead a team!"
Leo looked from them to Dragan and lowered his head. "Sorry..guys..ugh.."
Kara sighed softly and placed a hand on his shoulder. "Just don't do it again..or I'll kill you myself." She whispered, getting real close to him making him scared.
She moved aside so he could get to Dragan and he kissed her softly on the lips. "I'm sorry.." He hugged her close and she wrapped her arms around him. The brothers came in and added into the group hug, Kara joining in as well.
"Come on. No time..Help me get to..the bridge. Still got to stop..Mozar."
"The Triceratons have probably made it to Earth as we speak." Donnie said softly, looking towards their home.
-On Earth-
Mikey and Bishop were doing good so far til Bishop was caught by surprise, getting shot in the shoulder then the stomach. He was shot multiple times before he fell to the ground making the powering down noise that all Kraang droids made.
"Bishop, no!" Mikey yelled and blinked hearing a noise behind him and turned to see a Triceraton pointed it's weapon right at him as it began to power up.
Suddenly, a shuriken flew at the weapon, sticking to its side and caused it to explode. Mikey turned to where it came from and smiled brightly seeing Master Splinter. "We heard you might need some assistance." Master Splinter smiled down at his son as Rockwell and Pigeon Pete flew in next to him.
"Splinter!" Leo smiled wide.
"And reinforcements! Yes!" Raph stood to his feet, holding his arm but was smiling as well.
A car was thrown over Washington Square and landed on a Triceraton as Slash, April, Leatherhead, Mondo, and Muckman came into view.
Next, a line of smoke seemed to form and grew around another soldier before it began to lift it up off the ground and it was thrown away, a soft chuckle was heard inside it as a smokey figure came into view, landing in front of them, glowing blue and purple eyes were visible.
"So, did I miss the party?" Sara asked, placing her hand to her hip while leaning her weight against her leg.
"Sara!" Mikey's smile widened even further til he heard a honk and turned to see Kara and Casey riding towards them on her scooter. They hopped off it and moved in line with everyone else. Sara floated over in line beside Kara and narrowed her eyes towards the dinosaur aliens.
"Casey!" April ran up to Casey Jones and threw her arms around him, making him smile. "Hey, Red."
"Um, guys, you do realize we're in seriously horrendous trouble, right?" Donnie asked looking around at everyone but smiled when he saw Kara.
"So what do we do?" April asked.
"What we came here to do." Kara grinned, punching her fist into her palm, smirking at the aliens.
"Kick their Jurassic." Mikey smirked as everyone charged forward into battle. "Cowabungaa!"
-Triceraton Mothership-
Mozar saw the fighting through his screen and jumped in surprise. "What?! Impossible! How did the Turtles get back to Earth before us? I want answers!"
-On Earth-
"Oo-oo-oo! Great scott! More are about to beam down!" As soon as he said that one was beamed right behind him and grabbed him by the head, tossing him aside, his helmet flying off his head.
Mikey ran to Leatherhead's rescue but instead was grabbed by Mozar. "Foolish, little one, you are coming with me." The Triceraton stated as Mikey tried to free himself, a beam coming down at them, and taking them away.
"Mikey!" Raph and Kara yelled, Casey holding her tight.
"Michelangelo!" Master Splinter shouted just as more soldiers were beamed down and began to fire at them.
-On the Ulixes-
"There's still a chance we can stop the Triceratons, right?" Casey asked.
"Well, we will arrive on Earth approximately five minutes sooner than the last time I arrived. Bloop. Mm, five minutes ain't bad."
"Are you crazy? That's not enough time. I don't get it. We had those Black Hole Generator fragments. Why didn't we just drop them into a star when we had the chance?" Leo slammed his hands on the console looking over at Fugitoid.
"I designed the generator so it is only vulnerable to a combination of fusion and dark matter. So if you will calm down and allow me to!-"
"Um, guys? Look! I'm tapping into Earth's satellite footage." Donnie typed something in, zooming the camera to the Black Hole device. "The Triceratons are ready to set off the Black Hole Generator again!"
"Dudes, look at this. I'm zooming in." Mikey pulled the cameras up to see a Kraang stealth ship heading towards the Triceraton fleet. "That's you guys, right? In the Stealth Ship, coming to rescue me? You remember that?"
"That doesn't look very stealthy to me.." Kara muttered under her breath but blinked in surprise when the ship exploded.
"Ahh! You guys blowed up! Ahhh!"
"Mikey, calm down!" Raph began to smack some sense into Mikey. "We had a teleporter."
-On the Triceraton ship-
"You snagged a teleporter? You mean we could of just beamed here?!" Raph stood to his knees ready to punch his brother.
"There was only one charge and, oh man we're in trouble.." Donnie muttered when they were surrounded.
Mozar still had Mikey in his hands as he walked towards them and held out Mikey who seemed...ok.
"Guys, that was awesome! Thanks for the sweet rescue! So whose gonna rescue us next? April? Casey? Kara?"
"Eh-hehe.." Donnie chuckled forcefully as he stared up at his brother.
"Well...atleast he's ok.."
"The little one does not seem to recognize me. Let me ask you question. Do you turtles know me?" Mozar asked.
"Actually, no."
"Never seen you before."
"Nuh-uh."
"No...why?"
"Fascinating. It looks like I must eliminate all of the Turtles to be done with you."
-On the Ulixes-
"Here is my plan. While you all aid your past selves in stopping the Triceraton guards, I will capture the Black Hole Generator with my tractor beam." Fugitoid explained.
"So you drop us off n Earth and fly off with the Generator alone? Forget it!" Leo stood up.
"I can sense you're hiding something from us, Professor. You're lying to us."
"Cough it up, Fuge! What's the deal, yo?" Casey brought out his hockey stick and pointed it at Fugitoid. When everyone else brought out their weapons Kara and Dragan stood in front of them.
"Guys, calm down.."
"There is no is imperative that you all follow my exact plan without question!"
"We..can't make that promise, Professor."
"We're going to Earth all right, and you're coming with us." Raph added in, Chompy squeaking in agreement.
"Guys, relax...Professor, Kara an I have trusted ye from the beginnin'. We trust ya now but ya hae tae let us know what ye will be doin' when ye get those pieces.."
"No, I am not. I'm sorry, girls, but if you will not implement my plan, then you are no longer wanted on this ship." Fugitoid turned around, glancing at them as the alarms started blaring and suddenly a door opened underneath their feet sending all of them down a slide and falling towards New York. They all screamed as the ground was getting closer to them but just before they could crash, the tractor beam hit them, having them float mere inches above the ground before it them them drop safely on the ground.
"Woah! Tractor beam, dudes." Casey said as he stood up.
"Fugitoid saved us.."
"No, Mikey. He felt guilty. You just wait. He's gonna steal the Black Hole Weapon before the day is done."
"Let's move, guys. Washington Square is right around the corner." Donnie said as he and the others made their way in that direction.
Kara and Dragan looked at each other worriedly before following after them.
-Past Turtle's and Dragan-
"New York...we hae landed..uggghh." Dragan dropped to the ground, groaning but her eyes popping out as she and the guys barely dodged a laser attack. "What the.." She sat up and peeked through the hole to see Shredder, his minions, and the others fighting the Triceratons. "Thay did it...thay actually did it.." She squinted her eyes when she was able to spot Kara fighting along side..."Tigerclaw...come on guys, let's go help them."
"We got a world to save." Raph added in as he and the others ran into battle.
The future Turtles and others stood to see they had made it in time and brought out their weapons.
"No holding back guys." Kara covered her eyes to keep them focused on the enemy.
"Right." They all nodded and ran into battle.
"Guacamole!" Mikey shouted as he kicked a Triceraton that past Mikey and Raph were fighting. Both of them, even the Triceraton stood their confused. "Those guys are us?"
The timer was counting down as the future guys and others raced towards the machine to not only stop the timer, but hopefully save Master Splinter as well.
Kara saw Master Splinter and Shredder making their way to the machine and she began to race towards them. "Master Splinter!"
"Master Splinter, no!"
They all heard the grunt Master Splinter made when he was stabbed but they stood in surprise seeing he had caught Shredder's arm. "What's this?!" Shredder went to attack but Master Splinter twisted his arm and kicked him away. "I knew you were a snake, but stopping me from saving the world?" Splinter brought out his jade staff, pointing it at Shredder.
"It is because of you Karai is gone! Argh!" Shredder ran towards him to attack.
Just when the timer hit the last second, Leo jumped over it and blasted it with his gun, landing on his feet.
"Yes! The timer is down. We're gonna win!" Donnie heard the sound of the teleporters and gasped when he saw Mozar right behind him. "Uh-oh." He grunted in pain as Mozar smacked him away. Both past and future Turtles and humans stood side by side, Mozar now getting a good look at them. "So, you traveled back in time to save your world, which means I destroyed it the first time around, did I not? Now Mozar will win the second round!"
"Psh, like that'll ever happen." Both Kara's said in unison but blinked and looked over at each other. "Hey, nice." They said together again.
"Now's really not the best time, Kara." Future Donnie glanced over at the two.
"Oh, sorry, Jinx! Double Jinx!" Both of them laughed while pointing at each other.
"Kara!"
Both of them shut their mouths and turned serious just as Mozar began firing his weapon. All of them scattered to dodge his shots.
"Dudes, I get it. Those guys are us from the future!" Past Mikey said in awe. "No, dudes. You're us in the past." Future Mikey placed his hand over Past Mikey's shoulders before they began to run at Mozar and attack but they seemed to be futile at the moment. "Foolish reptiles! Mozar stepped towards Future Mikey, aiming his weapon but blinked when Future Leo and Dragan shot it out of his hands and destroyed it.
"No matter. I only need these!" Mozar punched his fist in his hand and went to charge.
"Funny. So do I!" Future Kara grinned and ran right at him. Mozar lowered his head so his horn was at her and let out a roar. When they were close enough Kara reached her arms out and grabbed his nose horn, planting her feet firmly on the ground to try and stop him. She grunted as he kept moving and she brought out her blades, slicing his left eye and causing him to throw his head back, yelling in pain. Kara still had a hold of his horn and was thrown into the sky with a startled scream. She let out a yelp as she landed in a tree and stumbled down the branches and to the ground. "Ugggh..I did not think that through." Her eyes had spirals in them from all the flying but she blinked when she heard Master Splinter and Shredder. She immediately stood to her feet and ran in their direction.
"I will rid the world of a vile monster." Shredder shouted as their weapons clashed together.
"The only monster here is you, Saki." Master Splinter countered but let out a grunt as he was thrown into a wall. He slowly stood to his feet. Kara took a step towards them to intervene but stopped when Master Splinter had turned the fight around and Shredder was the one on his knees. Splinter used one final attack and sent Shredder on his back, his mask flying off his head.
"Master Shredder!" Kara took a step back seeing Tigerclaw come into view and picked Shredder up in his arms. "You have one this time, but don't count the Foot out for long."
Kara narrowed her eyes at them then looked over at Splinter before turning away and running to the fight she was needed at. She arrived in time to see the both past and future friends taking down Mozar. She grinned and when she saw her past self sliding under Mozar to bring him down she ran in and jumped towards him, punching him across the face.
Both Dragan's ran behind him and shoved him forward with their shields while both Casey's finally brought Mozar to his knees while yelling their catchphrase, "Goongala!"
Mozar turned to the future turtles with Kara and Dragan with them, glaring at him with their weapons out. Panting softly, blood oozing from his already bad eye, and growled at them. "This is not over!" He pressed a button on his communicator where he and the now defeated Triceratons were teleported back to their ship.
Kara lifted her head up to the sky where she knew the mothership was at. "This is not over yet.."
"The Triceratons are a stubborn race. Mozar is definitely plannin' something." Dragan blinked hearing a soft groaning and turned to see Master Splinter limping towards them and smiled brightly. "He's still alive."
"Sensei!"
"Father!" The future guys ran for Master Splinter and hugged him tight. Kara and Dragan ran towards him as well, bringing their arms around him. "Master Splinter!" Kara shouted, tears in her eyes while Dragan laughed weakly that he was ok. Master Splinter looked at them all confused but had his arms around them anyways and held them close.
They all heard the sound of the tractor beam and gasped, looking up to see Fugitoid beaming the Black Hole Generator up to his ship.
"Oh no! Fugitoid's got the Generator. It's what he wanted all along!" Leo watched as the Ulixes left into the sky.
Donnie's eyes looked around in thought before they lifted up in sorrow. "I get it now. He said the only way to destroy the Black Hole Generator is a combination of fusion and dark matter."
"What're you saying.." Kara asked slowly.
"The ship uses dark matter, and the Fugitoid is powered by a fusion core."
"That..That's why he wanted us off the ship. He didn't want to steal it. He's..sacrificing himself."
"No..no!" Kara covered her mouth and snapped her head up to the sky.
"No! Fugitoid, don't do it!" Mikey shouted.
-In the Ulixes-
"It has to be this way, my friends. If you knew my intent, you would have surely tried to stop me, and for that, I thank you." Fugitoid pushed a few buttons as the stations his friends sat in lowered and the core of the ship was visible from the bridge. Fugitoid held his arms around as his chest opened up revealing his own fusion core.
-Triceraton Mothership-
"Sir, we are ready and awaiting your command." A Triceraton said to Mozar.
"Power up the Devastator. Destroy the city now!" Mozar glared down at the Earth as the weapon began to power up.
The Ulixes was flying towards the mothership as Fugitoid's core began to glow bright. "Let it be known that you are my friends, and I love you all." The ship began to glow and tremble as the core was over heating and were becoming over powered. He sped the ship and entered inside one of the cannons just as the ship exploded, bringing the Triceraton mothership and the Heart of Darkness down with him.
They all stared in sorrow, the future turtles and friends staring in sorrow at the bright light where they knew what had happened; they had lost a friend.
"He..he finally redeemed himself.." Dragan closed her eyes, lowering her head.
"I do not fully understand what transpired here this evening, but I thank my sons and friends, both present and future." Master Splinter looked to each of them, smiling.
"Dragans?"
"And Karas?" Both Sara and Casey Jackson looked to each other and the girls in confusion.
Future Kara and Dragan looked over at them and their eyes widened before running towards them, bringing their arms around them. "Woah, did we miss something?" Casey asked looking at the two girls, smiling.
"Oh, you have no idea." Kara gently squeezed them feeling tears in her eyes but blinked when she heard her name called again. She slowly lifted her head to see her mom and dad running towards them.
"Mom..dad? MOM! DAD!" Kara ran towards them and jumped into their arms, crying. Both of them looked at each other confused but immediately let it go as they held her close. "Sh, it's ok, we're here, hun." Her mom whispered gently rubbing the back of her head. "We got you." Her father added in.
Dragan looked at them and smiled softly before looking away suddenly missing her grandparents. She blinked when she felt arms around her and looked up to see Sara and Casey Jackson hugging her. "Hey, we haven't forgotten about you."
"Yeah, you're part of the family now." Sara smiled giving her a wink making Dragan blush but smile wide in excitement.
Past Kara and Dragan looked at each other confused having a feeling something must have happened til they looked up seeing the ship from before in the sky.
Future Dragan and Kara looked up as well and were clearly confused.
"What? Fugitoid? He's back?" Mikey asked the question they were both thinking and looked over at Donnie as he began to speak.
"Wait, if there are two sets of us in this universe, then there would be two Fugitoids as well."
Everyone stepped forward as the ship landed in front of them and the door opened revealing Fugitoid, smiling at them. "Hello, my dear friends. My name is Professor Zayton Honeycutt. How would you like to go on a wondrous adventure?"
The past turtles began to freak out in excitement.
"Wow, space?"
"Really? That sounds incredible."
"Dudes, that is so sweet!"
Future Leo looked over at them, smiling. "Space is awesome, guys, and if there's one guy in the universe you can trust, it's the Professor."
"Thank you, Leonardo. Perhaps we'll meet again in the future." The Professor looked down at him, smiling.
"Mom! Can we go to space? Please! Please! Please!" Both past Dragan and Kara were on their knees, giving them the puppy eyes as the parents looked at them feeling overwhelmed. "Uhh..I suppose it would not hurt. As long as you have a chaperon."
"Trust us, mom, The Professor will take good care of them." Future Kara smiled, Dragan giving them a nod in agreement. "Juuust one thing though.." Kara leaned over to her past self, whispering in her ear, "Don't let Mikey touch the pastry."
Past Kara blinked in confusion but shrugged.
"Oh, alright, stay safe and don't talk to strangers." Her mom shouted after them as they ran towards the ship with their arms in the air, hollering excitedly.
"We'll miss you."
"Good-bye, Sensei!" The past turtles hugged Master Splinter and followed after Kara, Dragan, April, and Casey, cheering just as excited as they are.
"I think we must talk about this." Master Splinter called out to them as they left but sighed seeing them depart only to smile at how much they've grown.
Rachel and Kevin looked up at the sky in sorrow but blinked when Kara touched their hands. "Don't worry, I'm still here." She smiled brightly at them and gave them another hug which they gladly accepted. Sara flew over them, startling them. "What the?"
"Oh, yeah, oops..Guess the cat is out of the bag." Sara rubbed the back of her head nervously. "Uh..guess we have some explaining to do, huh?" Sara looked over at the two girls and chuckled as they smiled weakly.
"I gotta say, I've seen a lot of weird days but this has got to be one of the weirdest." Slash said while walking up to Raph.
"Have I got some stories for you, pal." Raph rolled his eyes.
"I would like to hear some stories as well, my sons."
"As do we." Rachel and Kevin walked up with the girls and Sara and Casey Jackson behind them.
"How about first thing tomorrow, guys? Tonight, I think we all need some sleep."
"Agreed." Kara stretched her arms and yawned as they all made their way home.
