Oh my gosh guys, I am soo sorry for not posting last week! My internet just wouldn't work for more than two minutes for me! But thank you for your patience! Hope you guys are as excited as I am! Anyways, the girls have finally settled into their new home. There should be a picture posted in my gallery on here. If you can't see it then I'll just put a description later on so you can get a picture of it in your mind. ON WITH THE STORY!
"It's been weeks since we saved Earth and stopped the Black Hole Generator. Things have finally been cooling down.
No more Triceratons.
No more Kraang.
And best of all, no more Shredder and his goons. We managed to free the city from their clutches once and for all."
Dragan and Kara had moved in to their new place, unpacked and were settling in quite nicely.
"I can't believe things are finally over and done with." Kara said exhausted as she fell over onto the couch.
"Ya said it, sister." Dragan agreed as she glanced around and their new home. "I kinda miss the old place.."She muttered softly to herself.
Kara looked at her, hearing what she said and closed her eyes nodding to herself before she jolted out of her seat and to her feet. "Shoot! We forgot to tell the guys about this new place."
Hearing her ringtone, Dragan looked down to see Leo had sent her a message and her eyes widened. "We got more important things tae worry about!" She grabbed Kara's hand and ran out their home and into the elevator.
"Woah, woah, where's the fire?" Kara yelled in surprise.
"We forgot tonight! It's April's initiation ceremony!"
Kara's eyes widened to saucers and her mouth hung low. "...HOW COULD WE FORGET?! SCREW THE ELEVATOR! WE GOTTA MOVE!" Kara shouted as she ran out the elevator before it could close and used the stairs now dragging Dragan along. "Oh, I hope we make it in time.."
Arriving inside the lair, both girls burst into the Dojo seeing everyone was there including both Casey's. "Are we too late?" Kara asked out of breath with a Dragan right beside her.
"No, we were just about to start." April said to her as they made their way to where the Casey's were.
"Good. We wouldn't want tae miss this for the world." Dragan smiled nodding to her and the others.
Master Splinter looked over at them, smiling before turning his attention back to April. "April O'Neil." Master Splinter began to speak Japanese as be brought out a small sword. "This Tanto represents the Dragon: Strong, Fierce, Intelligent. A Dragon not only relies on its physical strength, but its keen intellect as well."
Dragan nodded in agreement watching the ceremony in awe, April thanking Master Splinter in Japanese.
"Be at one in spirit and body. Be like the dragon."
"Hai, Sensei." April bowed her head low and stared up at Master Splinter in pure excitement as he spoke.
"April O'Neil, you are now a Kunoichi of the Hamato Clan."
Kara couldn't contain her excitement anymore and jumped up in excitement letting out a mighty cheer. "YEAH-HAHA!" She and Dragan ran over to her, hugging her tight.
"Congratulations, April! Ya truly earned it!"
"Oh, yeah, celebration time!" Mikey shouted.
"Congrats, April." Raph smiled at her.
"You deserve it." Leo nodded.
"You did great." Donnie added in.
"Thanks, guys! You're the best!" April hugged Kara and Donnie as they both laughed and everyone lifted her up, tossing her in the air. "Cowabungaaaa!" Mikey shouted.
Casey Jackson smiled watching the excited teens on the sidelines.
"You know what this means?" Kara asked looking at everyone as they lowered April down.
"What?"
"NINJA TIIIME!" Kara hollered as she and the guys ran out the Dojo, whooping and hollering, everyone else following after them.
"Are you not going to join them?" Master Splinter asked walking up to Casey Jackson.
"I'm not as young as I use to be. I think I'd prefer some peace and quiet tonight."
"Very well. Would you like to join me for some tea?"
"Of course." Casey nodded and followed behind Master Splinter.
-The Roofs of New York-
The guys, Dragan, Kara, April were patrolling the city after grabbing their weapons
"Oh, man, remember when I had a hard time keeping up with you guys? I can't believe I'm finally a full-fledged ninja!"
"You've really grown, Aps. Soon, you'll be able to sneak through the shadows and oooh! This is so exciting!" Kara yelled, throwing her hands in the air as they landed onto an apartment complex.
"Sure, you made it to the third Dan, but there's still seven more grades, each with different levels." Raph said, glancing at her.
"Don't rain on her ninja parade, Raph. It's amazing you made it to Kunoichi, April." Donnie smiled her way.
"Yeah, don't let the party-pooper get you down. He's just jealous he has some competition now." Kara grinned, crossing her arms at him.
"Eh, just ignore what Raph is sayin'. We're really proud o' ye, April." Dragan smiled at her but blinked when Mikey scooted Raph out of the way.
"Yeah, I always do. Makes life way simpler." Mikey said with a smile only for it to get squeezed out of him as Raph put him in a headlock.
"Come on, ninjas. Let's call it a night." Leo said walking past the two.
"So, we have Ninjas, A Kunoichi, A Knight, A Fighter, and A Vigilante in our group. Oh, I'm loving my friends more and more each day." Kara said with a sigh following after Donnie and Leo.
They sat down looking over the city.
"City's quiet. For now." Leo stated, looking around.
"I'm sure that'll change soon. With Shredder gone, there's gonna be a ton of gangster and super villains moving in on his turf." Raph crossed his arms, looking to Leo.
"Eh, it's nothing that we can't handle. Ah, I can't wait to start fighting once more." Kara clenched her fists grinning in excitement to get back in the action.
Dragan smiled watching her playfully punch Raph's shoulder multiple times before they began to wrestle when she looked over at April noting something seemed to be bothering her. "Hey, ya ok? Somethin' wrong?"
"I'm pretty certain someone is following us.." April let out a gasp as a large shadow loomed over at water tower but stopped when they saw it was nothing but a mere cat.
"Aww, look at you! Coochie Woochie Woochie!" Mikey oogled staring at the cat that now disappeared and smoke suddenly appeared.
"Ok, that's not weird at all.." Kara looked around wondering if Sara was pulling a prank on her but remembered that not only had she left but a cackle filled the air that sounded nothing like her.
"Um, hello?" Mikey called out softly.
Suddenly a dark, cloaked figure appeared, flashing it's cloak open as bats flew out, the cloak resembling wings of a bat as well.
"Let's play a game." The figure said in a low, Japanese accent, her voice sounding female. "Give me one of your weapons or I'll take something precious: Your shells."
"Psh, over our dead bodies." Kara said as she got into her fighting stance along side Dragan and the others.
"Hm. I thought you'd never ask." The female giggled but Raph rolled his eyes and walked up to her. "Alright, sister, play time's over." He went to grab her but she slipped behind him and threw down a dust bomb that sent Raph sneezing before she kicked him away.
"My name is Shinigami. Do you know what my name means?" The girl asked playfully as everyone surrounded her.
"I dunno. Something Japanesey?" Kara asked uninterested making the girl smile under her hat as she made her first move by kicking Donatello away and shoving Mikey into April. Leo swung his sword at her but she dodged and jumped backwards. Kara ran at her sending a combo of punches her way that the girl managed to dodge. She then went to do a sweep kick under her feet having the girl jump upwards and grinned as she switched it midway to an upper kick and send her Dragan's way who shoved her back towards Leo with her shield and he hit her, causing her to stumble to the ground. "I can't believe you'd hit a lady.."The girl said as she moved her hair out of her face.
"Can it, Shiki. You're the one who started this mess." Kara narrowed her eyes at her and blinked when she saw her face. "Eh..got enough make-up on, lady?" She asked with a raised brow making Dragan snicker under her breath.
"Hm. If you ask me, you do not have enough." Shinigami said giggling at Kara's expression and ran at her, surprising her with the same trick as Raph but blew the powder into her eyes, causing Kara to yell in pain.
Dragan went to charge but blinked when she heard Mikey giggling and looked to him to see hearts in his eyes. "Och, you've got tae be kiddin' me..."
"So you really are real, living, breathing Kappa. So cute." Shinigami giggled as she brought out her weapon, a chain with a metal ball at the end and wrapped it around Mikey. "You ain't so bad yourself."
"Now is not the time, Mikey!" She blinked when he wasn't listening to her, just giggling quietly as she used him to smack his brothers around. Dragan rolled her eyes and charged for her only to let out a gasp as she kicked Mikey into her, knocking her to the ground. "Och, Mikey! Pull yourself together!"
Shinigami giggled, staring down at the two. "My Sensei doesn't need a Turtle weapon. Your Te-"
"Aaaahhh!" Kara was suddenly in Shinigami's view with her eyes closed as she sent a hard punch into her stomach, surprising Shinigami as she was forced backwards into the watertower. Her eyes were wide as she held her stomach in pain and let out a gasp as she saw her running for her. Shinigami smirked and brought out her chain again, wrapping it around Kara and tried to pull her towards her but blinked when the girl wouldn't budge.
Kara was still feeling pain from the dust in her eyes but she kept herself composed feeling Shinigami try to pull her. When the moment was right she pushed herself forward and with the added force of the pull she was flying right at Shinigami who let out a gasp and took a step to the side milliseconds before they could impact but now, Kara was flying over the edge of the building.
"Kara!" Dragan ran at her and grabbed the chain before she could hit the ground. "Don't worry. I got ya!" She began to pull her up while April and Shinigami fought. When Dragan had pulled Kara over the edge, Shinigami was gone.
"I can't believe that crazy girl took us to school on a Sunday!" Raph yelled, slamming his fist on the ground.
"She threw us off. Now we know her tricks." Leo said to them.
"I don't know, she was pretty awesome." Mikey said in awe.
"Guys.." Dragan looked over at them and showed them a trembling Kara, gripping the area around her eyes in pain.
"Kara!" Donnie ran over to her and picked her up. He gently moved her hand away and gasped when he saw the skin around her eyes reddening. "We need to head back to the lair. Now." He said with urgency, all of them leaving.
With Master Splinter's and Casey Jackson's help, they were able to heal her eyes. Kara walked out of the Dojo wearing bandages over her eyes. Luckily, despite the annoying ache and itch of her eyes, she went on normally, sitting down with them at the table as they explain what had happened.
"I mean, getting my butt kicked the night I become a Kunoichi? It's like the whole universe is saying it's not meant to be." April said with a sigh.
"That is not the universe speaking. That is the self-doubt of April O'Neil speaking." Master Splinter stated calmly.
"I've been there, April. Doubting everything, it's poison. Believe in yourself." Leo said, smiling at her.
"April, everyone in this room has dealt with difficulties that challenged not only who they are but what they want to be. As you grow, you will face much more in your life and some even more difficult than the last. But you must not give up."
"Casey's right, April. That's just a part o' growin' up. Nothing in life comes easy. What ye want an' fight for is especially challengin' tae achieve. Don't worry, April. You're becomin' strong in your own wye. Ye will succeed." Dragan placed her hand on her shoulder and gave her a gentle squeeze, smiling at her.
"I just..feel like a failure.." April lowered her head, closing her eyes.
"There is no such thing as failure..until you give up. That is when you truly fail."
April looked at everyone before leaning her head against her knuckles. "Thank you, guys."
"You must uncover the identity and allegiance of this new assassin. Claiming your weapon as a prize, that is an initiation into a ninja clan. Be warned. It seems this new assassin may be working for..the Shredder." Master Splinter turned to them looking serious before gently nibbling on his cheese-sicle.
Kara was with the others in Donnie's lab as he tried searching Shinigami up on the web, the others soon joining her.
"Hmm, I'm not coming up with anyone called Shinigami in any of the international crime databases."
"Of course not. She's our age and an assassin. She wouldn't be in there just yet unless, I dunno, she burned down a building when she was three years old or something..."
"Are you sure you should be up, Kara?" Raph asked, looking at her.
"I'm fine, Raph. I just have to get use to having my eyes closed for awhile. I can still fight."
Raph shrugged knowing she was able to handle herself.
"Got anything at all, Donnie?" Leo asked.
"Well, the Shinigami are powerful gods in Japanese myth that bring death and destruction."
"Oooo, scary." If they could, they'd see Kara rolling her eyes.
"So, we got something in common." Raph muttered with a smirk.
"This girl is super cute, guys. Maybe we could turn her to the light side." Mikey smiled at them.
"Cute, huh? What happened tae the time traveler girl?" Dragan asked crossing her arms with a smirk and a raised brow.
"Who, Renet? I dunno..we don't meet til the future and she's waay younger than me."
Dragan shrugged, putting a pin on the topic..for now.
"We gotta find her first. Let's split up and see if we can track her. Maybe we can draw her out."
Everyone followed after Leo, each group going in separate vehicles and on foot. Donnie, Mikey, and April were on foot while Leo took the Shellraiser with Dragan and Raph took the Party Wagon with Kara tagging along.
"No sign of any activity. Got anything, Donnie?"
"Still searching. Nothing so far." Donnie was on the radio tower using his binoculars to look around the rooftops. "Got anything, Raph?"
"I got nada. Streets are clean." Raph reported in a bored tone.
"Well..as clean as they can get.." Kara added in, sitting on top of a ledge just above Raph. "Nothing up here." She climbed down and got inside the Party Wagon. "What about you, Mikey?"
"Mmm. I got pizza. Mmm." Mikey chowed down on a slice of pizza his full attention on it. "What about you, April? April?"
April hung up on Mikey, calling Leo. "Leo, I just spotted Shinigami. I had a weird vibe that something was happening at Shredder's old lair."
"Shredder's back? But the lair was abandoned."
"He's nae foolish enough tae return somewhere he knows we'd look."
"It's not abandoned anymore. Call the rest of the guys."
"Don't do anything until we get there." Leo says over the communicator.
"Thanks for the vote of confidence." April hung up and snuck inside watching as Shinigami walked up to Shredder's chair, seeing the silhouette of his helmet. "Is that Shredder?" She whispered softly unsure. It wasn't til the figure stood up to reveal Karai wearing a similar helmet as Shredder. "Karai?!" She whispered in shock.
"Karai, I bring you the red-haired girl's Tanto blade." Shinigami lowered herself to one knee, holding the blade out to Karai.
"So, Splinter finally made April a Kunoichi, eh? Kind of a shock." Karai sat back down with blade in hand as April stared at them, scoffing.
Shinigami chuckled, standing up to move by Karai's side. "Yes, she seems so frail and clumsy when you first look at her. Like a silly red bird."
April had enough and jumped down, landing low on her feet. "Well, this Kunoichi tracked your butt down, Karai. What're you doing, anyway?"
"None of your business. Just go."
"We'd like to know what's going on here too." Leo said as he and the others walked through the doors.
"Leo, calm down. The brain worm that was controlling me is gone. I'm not your enemy." Karai stood to her feet looking over at them.
"Then why did your crazy friend attack us?" Kara asked, taking a step forward.
"It was only a test to see her skills. Shinigami's an old friend from Japan. She was never going to hurt you."
"Atleast, not permanently." Shinigami giggled, staring right at Kara who felt her eyes on her.
"I'd like to see you try a second time, Shiki. I've seen your tricks but you have not seen mine." Kara smirked lifting her head so she was looking right at her.
Shinigami grew nervous but hid it well behind a smirk. She went to take a step forward but Karai stopped her from going any further.
April held her hand up towards Karai, using her psychic powers to feel for the worm. "She's telling the truth. That brain worm thing is gone. They're not after us. They're after-"
"Shredder." Donnie finished April's sentence, both Kara and Dragan clenching their fists.
"So what's up with the headgear, Princess? Daddy issues?" Raph asked in a not so polite tone.
"I wanna rebuild the Foot. Bring back honor to a clan that Shredder poisoned for almost two decades. And when I finish, I'll destroy Oroku Saki and his empire once and for all."
"Life isn't about revenge, sis. Come back to the lair with us. Master Splinter would love to see you." Mikey said, hugging himself with a smile.
"No. I have to carve out my own destiny."
"You don't get it, Karai. You're not carving out your own destiny. You're chipping away into Shredder's path and claiming it as your own. No matter how you start the path for vengeance, it'll only lead you to the same end: misery and pain." Kara shook her head and turned to leave.
"Fine, we're leaving." Donnie and the others went to follow after her but stopped when April didn't budge.
"First, I want my Tanto back. Now." April held out her hand.
"Hmm. If you want it back, take it from her. I mean, shouldn't be hard for a Kunoichi, right?" Karai smiled down at her.
"Fine by me. I wanted a rematch anyway." April smirked up at them.
Karai handed the Tanto to Shinigami who slid down to the floor and calmly made her way to April who got into fighting position.
"Is she ready tae face someone like her?" Dragan whispered down to Kara worriedly.
"She's faced space aliens and mutants. She can handle one girl." Kara whispered back matter of factly but as they fought she was beginning to grow nervous. It was clear by the sound of Shinigami laughter that she was toying with April and that made her angry. To her, as a fighter, that was the greatest insult to deem their opponent so weak that they didn't take their match seriously but knew she couldn't intervene for this was April's chance to prove herself.
"I'm stopping this ri-"
"Let her fight her own battles." Raph cut Donnie off moving his arm to block his path.
"He's right, Donnie. In order for her tae grow she needs tae do this on her own." Dragan whispered, placing her hand on Donnie's shoulder to calm him down.
"Wait.." Kara could hear April's heavy breathing. "She's becoming angry.." Her eyes widened hearing the sound of the psychic vibrations and the glass shattering. She groaned in pain, the sound louder to her than those with normal ears and gripped them tight, bending down to one knee.
"Kara? You ok?" Donnie knelt down beside her placing his hands on her shoulders worriedly. It wasn't til Shinigami had elbowed April in the gut that the sound had stopped.
"Alright, that's enough Shini. Give her the Tanto back." Karai said down to them.
Shinigami dropped the Tanto down at April and turned, walking back to Karai.
Kara could feel it again; the anger. She saw April beginning to pull the Tanto out of it's sheath and went to stop her when Donnie got behind her and placed his hand on her shoulder, calming her down. "Easy, April. Don't let that weirdo get to you. Calm down."
"Yeah, come on, let's go." April walked up and held her hand out to her, smiling. April smiled back and took her hand as Kara pulled her up to her feet.
"Come on, this place is lame anyway. We're going to an awesome place. The sewers! ." Mikey gave Karai and Shinigami the finger guns as the others left.
"Not only that, she's taken over Shredder's old lair. She's even wearing a version of his helmet." Leo explained to Master Splinter in almost a panic.
"This is most disconcerting, but her choices are her own." Master Splinter closed his eyes only to open them at the sound of April sighing. "April? What troubles you?"
"I think I'm pretty much ready to revoke the Kunoichi title, Sensei."
"Already? But you just got it." Kara said in surprise. "Maybe I just need more training." April looked away from her.
"Come. Perhaps it is time I taught you an advanced move called, "The Dragon's Tail.""
"I'll try anything." April smiled, moving over to him.
"Goodluck, Aps, we'll be heading home. Goodnight guys." Kara and Dragan waved to them as they left for their new home.
"Did..did ya see how April reacted during her fight?" Dragan asked as she sat down beside Kara whose mouth was in a straight line from her sentence and began to panic, realizing what she said. "No, I mean-"
"I know, silly..and yes. I could feel her anger and her crystal? There was power seeping out of it the more angry she got..I dunno but I have a bad feeling..." She blinked when she heard Dragan's phone going off, recognizing Leo's ringtone. "Speaking of bad news.."
"Let me guess.."
"Karai" They both said, Kara sighing in annoyance. "Let's get their first before the guys and show Karai how to handle bad guys." Kara grinned as Dragan snickered and they grabbed their gear, leaving.
-With Karai-
"So, now that we have them, what should we do with them?" Fishface asked looking at the two girls.
"I vote eat them. You can never go wrong with eating them." Rahzaar answered.
"No! We wait for their friends. Karai called the Turtles minutes ago."
"You knew all along?" Karai grunted as she struggled in her restraints.
"Do you take me for a fool?" Tigerclaw snatched her phone from her pocket, pulling the message onto the screen. "There is no help for you." Tigerclaw laughed maniacally as he broke her phone in his hand.
Suddenly, Kara and Dragan jumped out of nowhere kicking Tigerclaw in his chest. He let out a startled yell as he fell over and the girls stood in front of Karai. "I'd say the cavalry is here." Kara grinned, crossing her arms.
"Eh, that sounds kinda weird for just us two." Dragan placed her hands on her hips looking over at Kara with a raised brow.
"What? Really? I thought it sounded cool." Kara pouted.
"Maybe if the others were here but cavalry is for more than two people."
"Uh, a little help?" Karai asked with a smile and raised brow.
"Oh, yeah, right, sorry." Kara chuckled as Dragan pulled out her sword and sliced the ropes.
Karai landed on her feet and smirked as Kara handed her a weapon. "Hope you can use this."
Karai took the weapon and charged for Tigerclaw. "Where is Shredder? Where is that coward hiding?!" Karai yelled as she attacked Tigerclaw while Kara and Dragan fought Rahzaar and Fishface.
As they were about to knock out Rahzaar and Fishface, Tigerclaw roared having all of them look his way and Dragan gasped seeing Tigerclaw with Karai in his hand with his sword pointed at her.
"Lower your weapons girls, or Karai will not survive." He said with a low growl.
Kara sighed, pulling her blades back in the gloves. "Karai, you've gone soft.." She took a step back as Dragan dropped her sword and shield, Rahzaar and Fishface holding them down
"I always thought you were a spoiled, petulant child. This world will not mourn you when you are gone." Tigerclaw laughed as he went to strike at Karai. Kara gritted her teeth and struggled against Rahzaar's grasp when she heard Mikey's voice and saw something fly at Tigerclaw, which distracted him enough to have Karai escape by poking his good eye.
Donnie and Leo kicked Rahzaar and Fishface away from their girls and helped them up.
"Always have to wait til the last minute, guys?" Karai looked over at them, smiling.
"Tigerclaw, I thought you and Shredder left town. You know, after we defeated you and all." Leo said with his weapons out.
"We will never leave until you and Splinter are put to rest."
"Team, take 'em down!" Everyone shouted as both sides charged at another.
Mikey set Shinigami free just as she had woken up and removed the rope from around her wrists and let out a chuckle. Both Mikey and Shinigami teamed together and managed to get a hold of Rahzaar around the neck with their chains. "Got you, Rahzaar!"
"Let's play 'walk the dog"!" Shinigami yelled with a grin on her face.
"Whoa, that's exactly what I was gonna say. We're, like, so similar, Shinigami." Mikey said in a whisper, Shinigami's expression to fall. Of course, the moment didn't last as Rahzaar ran dragging the two along and making Kara laugh at them before running to help.
Dragan and Donnie were facing Fishface when he kicked Donnie away. "Whoa, watch out, buddy." Dragan held out her shield and caught him before he could fall and looked up as April was taking on Fishface though it soon turned awkward when Fishface was beginning to flirt with her. "Oh, this is so embarrassing.."
Donnie and Dragan ran at them but Fishface spun April towards them and crashed into Donnie while Dragan moved out of the way. "Not this time!" She swung her sword under his feet causing him to jump up and smacked him with her shield, snickering as she watched him fly. She looked over to see how Leo was doing to see Tigerclaw with him pinned against the wall, beating him mercilessly. "I'm comin', Leo!"
She skidded to a halt when Karai let out her mutant rage and attacked Tigerclaw. She ran around them and bent down to Leo's side. "Leo, wake up." She said gently shaking him when she let out a gasp as Karai was thrown next to them.
"You are beaten. You shell will hang in our new lair as a trophy."
Dragan glared at Tigerclaw, holding her shield in front of them and preparing for a fight.
"I don't think so!" They heard April shout as she threw a powder bomb at Tigerclaw's face and did a spin kick right where the sun doesn't shine. Tigerclaw held his area in pain as he fell to his knees, letting out a light whimper.
"Wow, the Dragon Tail! Right in the fur patch." Donnie smiled having Fishface in a headlock.
"Booyakashaaa!" Mikey yelled as he threw down a smoke bomb, everyone but the bad guys disappearing.
"I hate when they do that." Rahzaar says but blinks when he hears a beeping sound. He and Fishface look down to see a bag full of bombs and then the whole room starts to beep as more bombs became visible.
"Eh? Um, we are in trouble." Fishface said as he began to back up.
"Ruuun!" Tigerclaw yelled, all three of them running for the door only for them all to get stuck. "Oh no." Tigerclaw's ears flattened just as the whole store exploded in a huge cloud of smoke.
Back at the lair everyone was sitting in the kitchen, Donnie looking over Kara's eyes and Dragan looking over Leo.
"April, Shini and I want to apologize. Sorry about earlier." Karai and Shinigami bowed low in forgiveness. April smiled and shook her head.
"Miwa." Master Splinter walked into the room.
"Father.." Karai walked up to him.
"Do not take on this burden of fighting the Shredder alone. Ally yourself with your family. Let us help you." Master Splinter placed his hand on her shoulder in worry.
"I've grown up, Father. I need to rectify all the wrong deed Shredder has done my own way."
"You are just seeking vengeance. This anger you carry was inherited from Oroku Saki, not from me."
"I know. Don't worry, Father. I'll make your proud of me. Soon." Karai closed her eyes and walked away.
"I am already proud of you, my daughter. April. You have proven yourself a true Kunoichi. I always knew you had the Dragon Spirit, and apparently the Dragon's Tail as well."
"It's all thanks to you, Sensei." April smiled bright, hugging him.
"So what now? We know that Shredder is still out there."
"Ugh, he's like a filthy cockroach." Kara rolled her eyes only to wince when Donnie gently dabbed at them with a cold, wet cloth.
"I have a bad feeling things are about to take a turn for the worse." Leo narrowed his eyes, looking down at the ground.
"It's nothin' we can't handle guys. Together." Dragan placed her hand on his and smiled looking over at everyone.
"Definitely." Kara nodded with a grin.
