The guys, Kara, and Dragan were hanging out at the lair just relaxing. The boys were reading their comic books while Dragan was cleaning her shield and Kara was reading her own type of comic: manga.
"Holy golly willikers, Wingnut!"
"I see him, Screwloose!"
"Skullface is GIANT!"
"Run, old chum, run!" "Haha, yeah!" Mikey laughed in excitement rolling over onto his stomach, voicing the characters as he read. "The Adventures of Wingnut and Screwloose. These old vintage comics are the best!" He kicked his feet in the air as Icecream Kitty mewed and held out some icecream for him to eat.
"Wingnut and Screwloose aren't bad, but you can't tell me they're better than Arachnid-Man or Superb Man or even the Indelible Bulge." Leo named off his favorite comics, showing them to Mikey.
"Eh, none of those even come close to the best comic ever: "The Fantastic Four Food Groups." Raph held out the comic book he was reading, grinning.
"You're kidding me. The FFFG?" Mikey raised a brow over at Raph.
"Oooh, talking food. So dark and brooding." Leo stood to his feet, rolling his eyes.
"Hey, that food has real depth and emotion, man!"
"Oh, please, your comics are child's play compared to the might of Snake Eyes Y. There's ton of fighting, action, character development, and a hint of romance. You guys are missing out but if you want I can lend them to ya. I almost have the whole series!"
Dragan rolled her eyes, smiling as she kept her eyes on her work. "Whatever happened tae readin' novels?"
"Those are good from time to time but they can't beat the awesomeness of Snake Eyes Y!" Kara held the manga book up grinning ear to ear til the boys started laughing at her which made her tackle Raph and begin to wrestle with him, laughing along with them.
Dragan rolled her eyes again and giggled at them. Before things would get out of hand she decided to see how April was doing, remembering she didn't seem like herself. She entered the lab just as Donnie had finished examining her.
"-Probably just adjusting to life back on Earth."
"I don't know, Donnie." Mikey appeared out of nowhere, surprising Dragan and making her sigh. "My seventh sense tells me it's not that. It's that freaky crystal she never takes off."
"Hmm. I don't think a crystal could give you headaches.."
"It's nae exactly a normal crystal though, Donnie. Plus, wi her powers, who knows what effects that crystal could hae on her." Dragan walked over to them and gently placed her hand on April's head looking at her worriedly.
"Let me take a look at it." Donnie held his hand out, smiling to April but he and Dragan were surprised when she suddenly lashed out at them, holding the crystal close to her as if she would die if it was taken from her. "No, get away from it!"
"Whoa, you're acting like it's your "precious."" Mikey said the last part in a different voice almost sounding smeagul like.
"You're becomin' addicted tae it, April." Dragan placed her hand in front of Donnie seeing him hurt by her reaction.
"I said back off-me.." April began to calm down and let out a sigh, placing her hand over her forehead. "Ok, Ok. It's just a crystal. No big deal." She mustered up the will the lift the string from around her neck and handed it to Dragan. Dragan gave her a nod and turned to Donnie, gently placing the crystal in his hand.
Donnie looked at her and gave her a thankful smile before heading over to his table,placing the crystal under a microscope. "Wow. I'm seeing particles and structures I've never seen before. I'm gonna try an experiment." Donnie got up, taking the crystal with him and placed it on a machine to hold it in place. He then brought out his space staff and began to scan the crystal but before he could get any readings it started to malfunction, a spark coming from the staff that transfered to the crystal, which began to glow brighter than before til a large, bright cloud came out of the crystal and loomed over them.
"That cannae be good.." Dragan took a step back, having her arms in front of Mikey and April to keep them from it.
"What is that, Donnie?" April whispered worriedly to him.
"Trouble." Was all Donnie said.
"Um, Donnie? Some sciency explanation I won't understand would be cool." Mikey yelled in panic.
Donnie looked from the cloud to his scanner in clear dismay. "I-I-I just don't know.."
"It's alive." April said softly, staring up at it.
Dragan looked from Donnie's scanner to the cloud remembering the spark but her train of thought was interrupted as the cloud began to move, flying everywhere as if searching for something.
Kara, Leo, and Raph came in to see what the fuss was about when they saw the bright cloud race past them.
"What did you this time, Donnie?"
"What did you make Donnie do this time, Mikey?" Both Kara and Raph said in unison.
"It wasn't me!" Mikey shouted just as the cloud phased through him shiver. "Oooh, tingly."
It finally flew up into the ceiling and poofed away. "What the beck did it come from?" Leo asked Donnie now that the thing was gone.
"April's Aeon crystal." Donnie turned over to April before looking up at the ceiling. "Whatever it was, it's gone now." He shrugged and went on with his business.
Dragan stared at April while her attention was on the crystal. Dragan got a weird vibe from both of them and lowered her eyes to the floor trying to remember what the Aeon's said back on their homeworld. Before she could remember Kara had brought her back to reality.
"Hey, I'm heading home. Coming with me?"
Dragan shook her head, smiling. "Nah. I'm gonna hang out here a little more. I'll be home later."
Kara nodded and went to Donnie to give him a goodbye/night kiss and said her byes to the others before leaving.
Dragan was laying on the couch after Master Splinter had spoken to them all as she kept thinking about that cloud thing and April's crystal. Something definitely felt off about it and the more April used it, the more obsessed she was of it. She blinked when she heard Raph's phone go off and turned her head towards him as he read the message but seemed confused yet annoyed of it.
"What the heck is this?" Raph showed them all the photo of a giant eyeball thing. Donnie and Dragan were confused and unsure of what it was while Mikey was in total shock.
"No way!" Mikey suddenly jumped to his feet and ran to his room.
"Guess we'd better check it out then." Dragan grabbed her equipment and all of them left to find out what it is.
When they arrived they indeed found a giant, floating eyeball. When it went to charge it's attack on Casey, Raph threw a smoke bomb at it, bringing it's attention to them. "Man, this is one huge eyeball." Raph commented, looking at the thing.
"Monoculus. It's so real. Just like from the comics." Mikey said in excitement.
"Snap out of it, Mikey."
Mikey looked over at Leo just as the eyeball attacked him and he jumped out of the way in time, screaming in surprise.
The guys chuckled while moving from the roof to a different vantage point.
"Hit it from every side. Try and keep it off balance."
Once everyone had surrounded the creature, Leo yelled out to attack and everyone ran at the eyeball but it managed to take them all down with it's laser attacks.
Dragan curled up in a ball behind her shield as the attack hit her and she flew to the ground, groaning in pain. "Och, I think we need another strategy, Leo.." She sat up, moving her shield aside and blinked when April landed in front of her with the crystal in her hand.
"You took the crystal from my lab?" Donnie asked in surprise.
"It's mine! I need it!" April brought out her tessen and threw it at the creature and used her powers to control the weapon mid air, striking at it multiple times before it decintegrated. Her tessen came back into her hand and she put it away. "Man, that was weird. Is everyone alright?"
"Bones are a little rattled but aw in aw; just fine." Dragan sheathed her sword and shield looking at everyone else.
"Ok, I give up. Anyone want to tell me what's going on?" Leo walked up to them after sheathing his swords.
"I'll tell you what's going on. My comic book came to life!" Mikey waved his arms in the air.
Raph looked from Mikey to Leo before stepping in front of Mikey, ignoring what he just said. "Ok, any other theories?"
"It's the Emperor Supreme of space eyeballs." Mikey shoved his way past April and Raph, showing them his comic. "It used to be in my comic, but now it's vanished."
Everyone looked at him weirdly except Dragan and Casey, who seemed to be more in thought at what he said.
"Riiight. That's why there's no eyeball monster in your comic. At all. Come on, team. Let's head back to the lair."
"And I want to take a closer look at that crystal, April." Donnie and the others followed after Leo, leaving Mikey and Casey behind.
That same night Kara got a call from Mikey to meet him and Casey. She had fallen asleep on the balcony having been reading a book. She let out a wide yawn and tiredly made her way to where Mikey wanted them to meet.
Casey and Kara both were struggling to keep their eyes open, but Kara was nodding off.
"April's crystal! It can bring stuff to life!" Mikey dangled the crystal in front of Casey's face. When he noticed Kara nodding off he yelled at her to wake up causing her to jolt awake, having her arms out and ready to fight while frantically looking around her.
"Huh?! What the...Mikey..what am I doing here? I don't know anything about this stuff." She ran her hand over her face, letting out a sigh.
"I want you here as a witness. I'm totally going to prove I'm right about this." Mikey gripped the crystal in his hand, having a comic book in the other.
"Ok, then. Make it work, Merlin." Casey goaded, chuckling.
"Alright." Mikey turned around and dropped the comic book onto the ground then the crystal before rubbing his hands together. "Make Wingnut and Screwloose come to life, crystal. Go for it! Do it! Um...Come on, crystal! Stop messing with me!"
Kara was leaning against an impatient Casey, dozing off. Casey sighed and stood up, walking over to Mikey, Kara falling over and startling herself awake. "I told you it doesn't work, bro-mix."
"No,wait. We gotta poke it somehow, give it a zap." Mikey took the crystal and began observing it, giving it a poke here and there.
"Like this?" Casey zapped Mikey with his homemade taser and began to laugh at his reaction til they looked down to see the crystal sparking even more and suddenly a bright light and an explosion threw them off their feet, landing right in front of Kara.
"Woah.." Both of them said in awe. Standing before them were the real Wingnut and Screwloose.
"Woah, you were right, Mikey." Casey stared at him in amazement then up at the heroes.
"Holy chalupa.." Mikey and Casey both stood to their feet.
"We're back on Earth! Great Galaxies!" Wingnut announced, looking around.
"Golly gee willikers, Wingnut!" Screwloose exclaimed.
"Ahh! Wingnut and Screwloose! You guys are my favorite comic book characters ever! See, Kara? Didn't I tell you the crystal would work?!" Mikey picked up a sleeping Kara and shook her when she didn't respond. "Kara?"
"Well, if it isn't our old foe Tortoise-Man. Escaped from prison again, have we?" Wingnut smirked at Mikey.
"Holy Terrifying Terrapin! But he's like three feet shorter than Tortoise-Man, Wingnut!" Screwloose shouted, observing Mikey closely.
"Obviously another one of Tortoise-Man's cunning tricks! And look! He has a girl as his hostage! Let's get 'em, old chum!"
Mikey blinked, looking from Wingnut to Kara before immediately dropping her as both of them began to attack. "Wait, wait, wait. I'm not Tortoise-Man!"
"And I'm not with him!" Casey added in, dodging Screwloose's punches and kicks.
"Way to have my back, bro!" Mikey glared at Casey as they were stuck behind a wall with Wingnut and Screwloose right in front of them.
Wingnut and Screwloose took out something from their pouches, revealing life bats, that they threw at the guys, hitting smack in the face. Casey began to try and wave away the bat while Mikey stared at the bat smacking him in the face with it's wings in awe. "Woah! These are real Wingnut-arangs! The second coolest weapon, right behind the Wing-zooka!" Just as Mikey shouted the name both Wingnut and Screwloose brought out bazookas and went to aim at the two but just as they were about to push the trigger Kara came up from behind them, punching them hard across the back of the head, knocking them onto their feet.
"Why are you weirdos attacking my friends?" A tired and irritated Kara asked, crossing her arms and narrowing her eyes at them.
"Golly willikers, Wingnut! That really hurt!" Screwloose shouted, rubbing the back of his head.
"Citizen! Stay back! We mean you no harm! We are here to save you from Tortoise-Man and his henchman."
Kara raised a brow and looked from the batman and flyboy to Casey and Mikey. "Uh..these aren't bad guys. They're my friends. They're good guys." Kara walked over to them, pulling the bat from Mikey's face and petted his head.
Wingnut rubbed his chin in thought, looking at them and went over to Mikey, pulling at his face. "Great Galaxies! She is correct!"
"Holy Antropomorphic Amphibians, Wingnut! I told you they weren't bad guys!" Screwloose shouted, making Kara cringe.
"My apologies, citizen. I am Wingnut/ This is my sidekick, the bug wonder: Screwloose." Wingnut moved his hand showing his sidekick doing the generic superhero pose; hands to hips with chest puffed out.
Mikey's eyes went wide and had a large grin on his face. "My favorite comic book heroes in real life! And you decided not to peel off my face! Wow! Oh, I got to get you guys to sign my comic!" Mikey went to grab his comic but when he looked at it his face dropped in disappointment. "Aw, man! They're gone! This is totally gonna ruin its collectability."
Casey took a step towards them, giving them his trademark smirk. "Name's Casey. He's Mikey and She's Kara. We're about to go on patrol. Any chance you guys want to go look for crime?"
"Indeed, young Casey." Wingnut smiled down at him.
"On super hero patrol with Wingnut and Screwloose. Time to look the part!" Mikey immediately changed into his Turflytle costume, which Kara blinked and rubbed her eyes in surprise thinking it wasn't real. "Turflytle in the house! Buzz, buzz!" Mikey smiled wide.
"Holy rip-off, Wingnut." Screwloose whispered to Wingnut.
"Yes, I know, old chum. But we have more important matters at hand. Matters of justice!"
Kara shrugged and decided to come along having nothing better to do.
Soon, the hours blended together like an old timey montage of them doing good deeds, and beating up bad guys, the night seeming to end with them all posing on the rooftop underneath the full moon.
Dragan was getting ready to leave the lair when she heard loud noises coming from Donnie's lab. She walked inside to see April on the ground pushing items away, frantically searching for something. Donnie went to help her up when she turned around and snapped at him.
"Just leave me alone!" She yelled. Dragan narrowed her eyes and went to say something but the sound of Master's Splinter's walking stick slamming on the ground had both of them looking over at him, Leo and Raph at his sides.
"You are not thinking clearly, April." Master Splinter stated, Dragan moving next to Leo.
"But Master Splinter, my crystal-" She clutched where it hung around her beg, pleading to him.
"You are attached to that object. The crystal is a crutch. I recommend against using it."
"It's not a crutch. It's just very important to me, and now it's missing!" April stood to her feet and pushed a toolbox over on it's side.
"Hey! Just because it's lost doesn't mean ye hae tae go trashing Donnie's lab. If ye would stop an think you'd notice that everyone is here but Mikey. Now, ye need tae relax an clean up your mess before we go find Mikey." Dragan bend down to help her but blinked when April suddenly shouted at her.
"Shut up, Dragan!"
Dragan scoffed in surprise. "Excuse me?"
"You heard me! Don't stand there and tell me to calm down when you freak out the minute you can't find your sword or shield!"
"That's different an ye know it." Dragan narrowed her eyes, crossing her arms over her chest.
"How's that different?!"
"Plenty o' reasons! In fact, One: I can actually fight without it. Two: Thay don't amplify any o' my skills or abilities. An three: When I "freak out" it's because thay were given tae me by ma grandfather before I left Scotland!" Dragan answered in anger, clenching her hands into fists with her arms still crossed.
What April said next, no one could have predicted.
"Oh, boohoo, you left behind your home and your grandparents. No one cares!"
Everyone's eyes widened at her words. They slowly turned to Dragan to see her standing there frozen, eyes wide with rage. "April! That is eno-"
Dragan's hand shot out in front of Leo, stopping him mid sentence. He looked at her hand to see her fingers clenched tight enough to where her knuckles were going white and moved to see her face rather calm.
"You keep getting into everyone's business and I've had enough of it! If you miss your home so much then why don't you go back?! Atleast they're the ones who believe you could actually be a knight." April smirked, crossing her arms over her chest.
Donnie stared at April in shock. This wasn't like her at all. It was as if someone had taken over April. He wasn't given much time to think about it because Dragan immediately lashed out, grabbing April's face.
"Take. That. Bak." Dragan said in a low calm, her bangs covering her eyes. "Take that bak. Now!" She screamed louder, her fingers starting to clench around April's face.
April and the others stared at her in shock Master Splinter immediately stepped in, placing his hand on her shoulder. "Calm your mind, Dragan. Her words are meaningless. Her mind is clouded with her obsession. You are better than this."
Dragan lifted her head some, staring right into April's eyes and removed her hand from her face. "Ye are right, Master Splinter, but I will nae be around April until she either apologies or destroys that dreadful thing." She turned around and walked out of the lab, Leo and Raph moving out of her way Raph having sweat slid down his face from her reaction.
April growled and went back to looking.
"Coast looks clear. Buzz, buzz. No sign of any crime."
"Oh. Good. Then we can go home, right? Ah, nothing beats a well earned rest after beating up badies." Kara stretched her arms over her head.
"Alas, I think I've found some." Wingnut pointed out.
"Darn." Kara sighed and looked where he was pointing to hear cackling. They followed where the criminal was to see an oversized Skullhead wearing a purple onsie with matching underwear on the outside and a matching cape.
"Skullface McGillin. Criminal mastermind extraordinaire."
"Skullface? Dude, he's straight out of the comics!" Mikey shouted in excitement.
"Did EVERYthing come out of that comic? What else was there?" Kara took the comic from him and began to look through it but because of the wholes where everything was suppose to be, she didn't have a clue what to look for.
"Look out! He's aiming his Skeletonizer!" Screwloose shouted, pointing at Skullface.
Skullface pointed a magic staff at them, lowering it to the garbage as it glew and changed into clackling skulls that began their attack but it was nothing to the five of them.
When Skullface attacked Screwloose, Wingnut intervened, knocking his skull away from his sidekick but they stood in awe as it returned to his body. "Ha-ha! That's right, see? And you're gonna get zapped by me, see?" Skullface pointed his staff towards them but blinked when Mikey snagged it with his chain. "Oh, no, see!"
"Aw, yeah! No Skeletonizer. What you gonna do now, Skully?" Mikey let out a yell as Skullface flew at him head first, going, "See?" And threw Mikey to the ground in front of them all. The superheroes, Casey, and Kara attacked Skullface, disorienting him for the moment.
"Let's share the last punch, together." Wingnut held his hand out to Mikey, smiling at him. Mikey smiled wide and took his hand, both of them running to Skullface and punching him across the face, knocking him out cold.
Kara threw Skullface into the truck and wiped her hands. "And that is the end of that."
"Yo, dog, I get how Wingnut and Screwloose came out of that comic, but how did Skullface escape?" Casey whispered to both of them.
Kara sighed, lowering her head. "I said that's the end of that."
"No clue, brah. But atleast there's no villains left in this issue." Mikey tapped the comic with the back of his hand, laughing.
"Let's get something perfectly straight, citizens. We did not come out of any comic book!"
"No, it's true, superdudes. You're just made-up characters." Casey told them.
"You're from the planet Dexion V of the Huanu system. Wingnut lost his family at the intergalactic movies, and later adopted Screwloose after a tragedy at the space circus." Mikey explained to them.
Wingnut and Screwloose gasped in surprise. "How-How do you know so much about us? Are you working for Captain Confusion?!"
"It was the power of the crystal, yo. See?" Mikey held out the glowing crystal to them, both of them gasping and staring at it in a trance. As they mumbled to themselves about it Kara began to have a bad feeling.
"Woah. Are you guys feeling ok?" Mikey asked as he closed his fingers around the crystal, hiding it's glow from them.
"Give us the crystal!" Screwloose shouted, punching Mikey in the face and throwing him into the wall.
Kara and Casey watched this in shock and went to defend themselves, but they were faster and kicked both of them to the ground. Kara groaned and looked up at them seeing them in awe at the crystal. "No...stop.." She groaned and went to reach out to them but it was too late.
As soon as their hands clamped over the crystal, electric sparks flashed around them and soon, their images began to change; growing bigger, darker than their normal selves, both of them taking off.
After their fight, Dragan had decided to go home not wanting to deal with April's obsession anymore. Just as she was about to enter the complex her phone began to ring. Seeing it was Kara, she answered it. "Hey, Kara, I'm just aboot tae walk into the comp-"
"Uh, we have a bit of a situation here. Mikey took April's crystal and it somehow managed to bring these comic book characters to life but now they've gone evil and took the crystal for themselves."
Dragan groaned, smacking her hand over her eyes. "That crystal is nothin' but trouble. Och, fine. I'm on ma way.." She hung up the phone and looked down, Kara leaving her a message to their coordinates, and followed them.
Kara, Casey, and Mikey stopped in the middle of town where the old cathedral was only to find something else in it's place. "Uh..that wasn't there before.." Kara pointed out nervously.
"They're in the Bell Tower Lair! Straight out of the comics!" Mikey yelled in excitement as all of them snuck into their lair. "Dude, check it out, brah." Mikey whispered, his voice echoing down the spiral staircase.
"Woah. This is from "Wingnut and Screwloose" number thirty." Casey said, looking at an oversized penny.
"And this is the squirrel from issue thirty-five." Mikey added.
Kara looked around, her brow raised in confusion since she never read the comics before.
"Cool. Look, it's their costumes." Mikey and Casey ran over to them to get a closer look while Kara followed behind at a normal pace.
"You know, the heroes in Snake Eyes Y wouldn't turn evil by that crystal." Kara commented, crossing her arms in annoyance. She blinked when she heard the whooshing sound in the air and shoved both the guys behind the costumes to hide, Wingnut and Screwloose entering the lair.
"The crystal is a conduit of energy. It created us, old chum!" Wingnut said, staring into the crystal.
"I get it now, Wingnut. We don't really exist in this world. We're just images brought to life. It's a big bummer! What can we do?"
"They crystal can sustain us. We can survive with it's power. We can become more real than the beings in this world. I just have to discover how to tap into it's mystical energy."
"Do we make our move?" Mikey asked, poking his head out from hiding.
"Not yet. Wait til the time is ri-aah!" Casey began to stumble forward, having put too much weight on the glass case and when Mikey went to help, both of them ended up falling over and blowing their cover.
Kara smacked her forehead, groaning. "I can't believe you guys.."
"Intruders!"
"They're after the crystal!"
"No, we're not! We don't care about the stupid thin-ahh!" Kara ducked down as Wingnut and Screwloose began their attack.
"Come on, Wingnut! We don't want to hurt you!" Casey yelled.
"You're not bad guys! You're heroes!"
"Lies! You'll say anything to get the crystal." Wingnut shouted, growling deep as he went to attack them but Kara kicked him away.
"That crystal has warped your minds! No hero would attack their fans!"
Wingnut roared and tackled her, throwing her out the window. She began to scream as she tried to find something to grab a hold of. Just as she was about to make contact with the ground, Raph swooped in and saved her. "I gotcha, Kara."
He used Donnie's latest invention to fly up to the top of the tower, Leo right behind him, and landed to see Wingnut and Screwloose growling at them.
Woah, Mikey was right. We got to start listening to him more often."
"Alittle late for that but agreed." Kara nodded, bringing out her blades.
Kara and Leo charged at Wingnut while Raph and Casey were fighting Screwloose. "What happened to all the good we were doing earlier? We were saving lives, helping old ladies across the street! You're suppose to be a hero!" Kara yelled kicking him in the gut.
"I still am!" He growled and grabbed her leg, surprising her, and threw her into Leo, knocking them over. He then flew up into the sky and Leo immediately followed after him. Kara sighed knowing she was stuck on the ground.
"HE'S GOT MY CRYSTAL! IT'S MINE!" April screamed so loud, Kara was able to hear it and blinked as she began firing the garbage cannon not only hitting Wingnut, but the cathedral bell as well, causing all of them to cover their ears in pain.
Mikey blinked when he saw the noise seemed to effect Wingnut and Screwloose more and a thought suddenly came to him. "Casey, I've got an idea! It's not great, but it's an idea."
"Just do it already!" Casey yelled, struggling underneath Screwloose.
"Kara, come with me!" Mikey yelled as he used his grappling hook to get to the Bell Top. Kara nodded and followed after him. Kara understanding what was going on, she jumped in the space between the bell and the wall, grabbing onto the rope, and swung herself back and forth to ring the bell.
Mikey looked over the edge to see Wingnut and Screwloose doubling over, covering their ears in pain. "It's working!" Mikey watched April get back her crystal and turn them to normal. "You're good, Kara!" He shouted to her. She nodded and let go of the rope, dropping down to the ground. Mikey caught her and flew her to where the others were.
"-They're gonna send us back to being pictures on a page." Screwloose said in sadness.
"No, old chum, they're going to send us back to where we're suppose to be. I'm sorry for all the trouble we've caused here, Tortoise allies. We don't belong here."
"Sorry everything got so messed up, Wingnut." Mikey sniffed, removing his goggles to look at his heroes one more time. "Thanks for coming on patrol with us."
"Anytime, old chum." Wingnut placed his hand on Mikey's shoulder, smiling down at him.
Wingnut held up the comic as April began to activate the crystal's powers.
"Holy good-byes everyone." Screwloose waved at them all as they were returned back into the comic.
"Don't be sad, Mikey. They were never real to begin with." Leo walked up to him, placing his hand on his back.
"I know. It's cool, bro." Mikey flipped through the comic seeing everything was back to normal.
"April, when we get back to the lair, I think I'd better run some more tests on that crystal." Donnie said looking over at her.

"April, are you alright..?"
"It's my crystal. I'm never gonna take it off again for anyone or anything ever again." April stared into the crystal, eyes wide, as if nothing else mattered.
Dragan was in the shadows, having her sword out to help but when the problem was fixed, she stared down at April, glaring at her. She squinted her eyes some before leaving, knowing April was going to put her and her friends in danger because of that crystal. What worried her was, she just didn't know when.
