SEASON FINALE, GUYS! Sorry I missed the week. Things..didn't go as expected..as usual -.- But here we are! :D ON WITH THE STORY!
It was a beautiful day. The sun was shining, the sky was clear, and birds were singing as they went on their merry way. If only they would notice.
Everyone that knew him, from the Mighty Mutanimals to Miss Christine, were all gathered at April's old barnhouse where they stood in front of the grave made for the deceased Master Splinter. Their heads were bowed in sorrow at the passing of not only a good friend but a teach and a father.
Dragan held Leo's arm, laying her head against his shoulder while April went up to Kara and held out the bouquet of flowers made for him.
"Here, Kara, you should be the one to do this." She said softly.
Kara looked at her in surprise before giving her a simple nod and let go of Donnie's hand, taking the flowers in her own. She stepped up to the grave that was made just for him where photos of Master Splinter together with his family and friends lay against the stone, a carving of Splinter himself on the top of the stone. Kara squeezed her eyes shut to keep the tears from coming as she gently laid the flowers near the photos. Staring down at the photos she saw one of her with the guys and Master Splinter, arms around the other with Splinter behind her, smiling. A small smile reached her face as she placed her hand over it.
She stood to her feet and moved back next to Donnie as Leo walked up to the grave, laying Master Splinter's walking stick down beside the flowers.
Everyone stood in silence, giving their respect to their friend, til one by one they left leaving only Kara at the grave. "I'm sorry. I wish they could be here to say their goodbyes." She said softly, closing her eyes.
"Kara? We're gettin' ready tae head bak tae New York." Dragan spoke softly, knowing Kara was feeling just as much pain as the turtle brothers.
All Kara could do was nod but she stayed where she stood just staring at the grave.
"I'll go geit Leo." Dragan said before walking away into the woods. She glanced back at Kara one more time to see she still had not moved from her spot. She sighed softly and headed into the woods to find Leo.
She found him meditating in front of a small river and went to take a step towards him when he suddenly jumped to his feet. "Splinter? Is it really you? Or am I dreaming this?"
She stared at him wondering who he was talking to, seeing no one around, but when she heard the name Splinter, she was curious to know if he was speaking to his ghost. If only she could see him. She turned to leave to give them some privacy when a gust of wind blew her way. The moment she felt the chill of the wind she straightened her back, a sudden feeling of dread coming over her; as if something was still needed to be done. Through the strands of her hair she saw a few cherry blossom leaves flying into the sky so she reached her hand out and grabbed one, lowering it down and stared at it. Clenching her fist around the blossom she narrowed her eyes, the knight in her sparking to life.
When they all returned to New York the guys, Kara, and Dragan went their separate ways; The guys visiting Karai first and the girls visiting Kara's parents.
"How ya feelin', Mr. an Mrs. Sharper?" Dragan asked worriedly, seeing them in their state still unnerving to her.
"What about you, Sara?" Kara asked, holding Sara's hand in her own.
"The doctor said we'll be in here a couple weeks to a month for recovery." Kevin said as he tried to sit up only to fail miserably and lay back down.
"I'll be out of here sooner due to my mutant powers." Sara said calmly but being cooped up inside was beginning to agitate her, specially when they were in a non-smoking area.
"About your powers.." Dragan looked from Sara to her parents wondering how they were taking the news since the Triceraton Invasion.
"We spoke about them on the way to the airport after that dinosaur mess." Sara said, leaning back against the bed.
"We were surprised to say the least.." Rachel stated. "Sara explained what had happened and how Yoshi helped her to control them. As long as she doesn't use them for selfish reasons then we are fine with them. She is still our daughter after all."
"Mom..Dad...Sara...about Master Splinter.." Kara's voice cracked and she bit her lip to keep herself from crying. "...I need to know where Shredder's hideout is."
"Why? Y-You don't plan on going after him, do you? No..no, you can't. He could kill you!" Rachel yelled in anger, tears forming in her eyes. "I won't let him hurt you anymore."
"Mom, you don't understand.."
"I know I don't, ok! All of this mutant nonsense is something I may never understand but you're my daughter and I..I'm your mother..I have to do something motherly for you for once.." Rachel covered her mouth and looked away, tears falling. "I'm scared, Kara. I'm scared of losing you, Dragan, your friends. This..this is all I know to do."
"Mom...he killed Yoshi."
Rachel, Kevin, and Sara stared at her in shock.
"What..?" Kevin asked, his voice barely above a whisper.
"He killed Master Yoshi, he almost killed Karai; someone who he considered a daughter, and nearly killed you three; people he considered friends. He is still alive and won't stop til everyone he knows is dead..even Dragan and I. We..we can stop him once and for all. Trust in me, trust in us. We're the only ones who can. So please, you have to tell us where he is hiding." At this point, Kara was hanging her head low, begging her mother to tell her.
"I'll tell you."
Everyone looked over at Kevin as he struggled to sit up. With some time he eventually sat up on his bed. It was clear that simple movement drained him but he reached for a paper and pen to write the address down. Kara looked at her father with relief and walked over to him. "Thank you, dad."
He ripped the address from the paper and handed it to her. When she went to reach for it he clamped his hands over hers, giving her a look of determination. "Show him the strength of the Sharper Pride. You too, Dragan. You both are growing into strong women. I know you too can make him pay for everything he has done to not only this family, but Yoshi's as well."
Kara nodded and hugged her dad then mother and Sara before going to the guys to tell them the news.
Dragan walked up to Kevin and gave him a gentle hug as well. "Thank you, sir." She hugged Rachel as well then moved to Sara who grabbed her arms and brought her close.
"Watch each other's backs and be careful. Make sure you all come back in one piece." She hugged Dragan and smiled at her as she left. She sighed softly and closed her eyes hearing her mother crying softly. She knew they were more than capable of taking care of themselves but even she grew nervous thinking of the mutated Shredder.
Coincidentally, Karai was placed in a room next to the Sharper's so it didn't take long for the girls to find her.
When Kara and Dragan entered the room they saw Karai in just as bad shape as her parents. "Hey, Karai. How are you doing?" Kara asked with a small smile, happy to see her awake.
"I'm not in too much pain but this cast is pretty itchy." Karai said with a smile making everyone smile as well. Her smile faded and she looked up at the ceiling. "He's gone, isn't he? I had a dream that Splinter's gone."
"Yes, Karai, I'm so sorry." Leo said, closing his eyes.
"Karai, listen, um, Shredder is still alive." Raph told her. "Slash told us that you know where his lair is."
"I..wanted to help..bring him down."
"We need to know, Karai, before Super Shredder comes after you. Or April's dad. Or Casey's family." Mikey said to her.
"I know where he is." Kara answered, everyone looking to her.
"Wha..but how?" Karai tilted her head towards Kara. With a soft sigh, Kara closed her eyes and took a step towards her, standing besides Mikey.
"My name is Kara Sharper. I'm the youngest daughter to Kevin and Rachel Sharper." Karai's eyes widened having recognizing the name. "Shredder lured my parents and sister Sara to his hideout and.. almost killed them." She clenched the address in her hand, the thought of them getting hurt still causing anger within her. "They're here right next door in recovery." Kara handed the address to Leo.
"I'm sorry, Kara. They were really nice people." Karai said. Kara smiled at her, placing her hand over hers. "I know. They're the best."
"Leo, guys? Give Shredder a couple hits from me." Karai said with a smirk.
"O' course." Dragan said with a chuckle.
"..Kara..Dragan..I'm sorry..for everything." Karai turned towards the two girls with sadness in her eyes.
Kara gently clenched her fist and gave her a smile. "You have nothing to feel sorry for."
"Once Shredder is taken care o', our sorrows will be over. So focus on recoverin', lass." Dragan said softly, smiling to her as well.
While the guys, April, and Casey were at the Lair getting ready, the girls stayed at their home preparing their own way.
Kara opened her walk-in closet in a towel, having showered, and walked to the end where the outfits she had received from her many adventures hung. She separated all of them, the one from where they time traveled to the past hung alone, and pulled it out. She dyed the leotard top completely black and spray painted the Hamato Clan symbol on the sleeve. Once it had all dried she began to change. She looked at herself in the mirror and took off her cap, putting out a headband instead to show off both her eyes. She tied the blindfold around her eyes before lowering it to around her neck. She turned to leave but blinked when she noticed the taser she had bought a long while back, unused, laying on the surface of her dresser. She picked it up, looking it over some, and decided to pocket it.
She walked out of her room while slipping her gloves on and glanced over seeing Dragan leaving her room as well. She blinked in surprise at Dragan's outfit.
Dragan had her hair tied up in a high pony-tail, her bangs covering her eye still, a metallic blue dress top with black frills around the rim of the skirt and a yellow tanktop, black, skin-tight jeans, black gloves that reached past her elbows, Leo's old mask, and a flowing, dark blue cap. She also wore her chest piece, shoulder paldron, gauntlet's that went past her wrist, belt with her sword at her hip, and thigh length armored boots. She was staring down at her helmet when she heard Kara walking over to her.
"Are ye ready for this?"
"More than you know." Kara said, grinning to her friend. "Are you?"
"Likewise. Let's do this." She placed her helmet over her head and they both ran out to the balcony to meet up with the others at the lair.
"Ok, based on the address Mr. Sharper gave us, Shredder has a secret mansion in the middle of the woods right here." Leo said, pointing to the map. "It's heavily fortified, and there are traps and Footbots everywhere. We'll have to keep on our toes."
"Some of us only have three toes, so I hope that's cool."
"Eh, five toes are way doper." Casey told Mikey.
"What if we had six?" Mikey turned to Casey as if he had an idea before Raph shoved him aside already having enough of this nonsense.
"Let's take Shredder down." He said while holding his hand out.
"Once and for all." Kara added in, moving her hand on top of his as the others joined in.
"BOOYAKASHA!!" All of them shouted before the guys and April took the Party Wagon, Casey in the Speed Racer, and Kara and Dragan in the Shellraiser.
The drive to the location was silent and the air was tense.
When they arrived they all parked as close as they could without being seen and exited, moving towards the entrance to the woods.
"This is it, team. Shredder's mansion is just beyond these woods. Be careful. Kara, make us a path that keeps us from setting off any traps."
Kara nodded to Leo and stepped forward, moving the blindfold over her eyes. She took a deep breath before taking a step, the area around her showing itself to her. She bent her knees some and ran off, the others following behind her through the trees. As she ran she would point to where the cameras were so they could move out of sight and jump over any traps set.
Despite the weight of the armor and her shield, Dragan was able to match their speed and catch up with Kara. They entered a clearing and Kara held her hand out to stop Dragan, a group of Footbots in their way to stop them.
They ran at them to attack, one raising their sword at Dragan but she blocked with her gauntlet and punched it in the face before slamming her foot in it's chest. When it hit the ground she brought her foot down on it with more force, stabbing right through it's chest.
While Leo and April took care of the ones in the trees, Kara and the others teamworked the ones on the ground and soon, they were all defeated.
"Ha! These things are a slice of cake and easy as pie. Mmm, so hungry." Mikey stared off in the distance daydreaming about food.
"Ha, I didn't even need ma sword tae take these guys on." Dragan said with a smirk, knowing she and the others had gotten stronger.
"Yeah, at this rate, we've got no problemo."
"Take that back! Take that back!" Kara yelled but it was too late; Elite soldiers sprung up from the ground in hiding and gathered behind them.
"One of us just had to say something, didn't they?" Donnie said with a groan.
The Elite soldiers began to power up and ran at them to attack but they all began to retreat. The Elite's attacked with lasers, bringing a tree down in the process to try and slow them down but they either jumped over the tree or slid underneath.
"Guys, we got a problem. We're reaching a-" They all slid to a halt, having reached the edge of a small cliff, a large lake right underneath them. They turned around to see the Elite's blocking their only path so they all brought out their weapons and charged for battle.
The Elite's were forcing them all back but Kara brought out her blades and sliced downwards cutting the Elite's arm off and shoved them backwards before jumping up and bringing her fist down on it's face. She landed on it's chest and stabbed her blades right into it's neck and crossed her arms over, slicing it's head clean off.
Dragan used her shield to block the Elite's attack and felt herself sliding backwards. She gritted her teeth, planting her feet into the ground and threw the weight of her shield to the side, causing the Elite to lose it's balance and in one swift movement, brought out her sword and stabbed it right through the chest.
She and Kara glanced over in time to see the guys and April fall into the water.
"Guys!!" They both shouted, watching them fall. They then looked at each other then to the Elite's before getting into their fighting stances to fight the rest off.
Kara and Dragan were back to the back with the Elite's gathered around them. They clenched their fists, Dragan gripping her sword tight, before they shouted their battlecries and charged.
Kara dodged each of their attacks and send a punch here and there, fighting two off at a time. One managed to punch her across the face and sent her sliding back to the edge. She turned her head to see how the guys were doing but due to the water she could not see them. Unaware of even more Elites having dove into the water after the guys, her attention was brought back when she heard the whirring of the Elite's feet running at her. She lowered her arms when she felt the taser in her side leg pocket and brought it out. With a smirk she flicked the taser on to it's highest setting and when the Elite went to strike, she moved to the side, stabbing the taser right into it's chest.
It began to stutter and malfunction til it exploded, Kara jumping out of the way of impact. She stood to her feet and tilted her head in the other Elite's direction. "Whose next?" She asked, the smirk widening on her face.
Dragan blocked and shoved with her shield and sliced each Elite coming her way and soon, she stood over the robotic body parts scattered around her. She looked over at Kara as she finished off the last and walked over to her. "Nice, this was easier than I thought."
Kara laughed and nodded in agreement before turning her head to hear splashing below them. "Come on, let's go catch up with the others."
Dragan nodded and they both ran down to the shore where the others were. When they found them, Kara could see Fishface on the side gasping for air, his legs broken and around him. She walked up to him and bent down, having her taser behind her back, a frown on her face. "You. You attacked two women and a man a few nights ago, didn't you?" She asked.
Fishface stared up at her and chuckled between gasps. "So what of it? I was just following orders. It was the easiest job I had. They ran away screaming like cowards. Just like..I will make you!" He yelled as he pushed himself off the ground, opening his mouth wide to bite her. Her frown changed to a scowl and she calmly moved her taser out from behind her back and shoved it inside his mouth. Before he could close his mouth she turned it on to medium setting and saw him shake violently while yelling in pain. He dropped to the ground, passed out, with steam rising from his body.
She stood to her feet and lowered the blindfold from her eyes, glaring down at him. "That was my family." Was all she said before she turned around and walked up to the others.
Dragan and Donnie placed a hand on her shoulder wondering if she was going to be ok. She gave them all a smile and nod before her attention turned to Shredder's hideout, narrowing her eyes.
They snuck silently towards the entrance and made their way in, no traps in sight. With Karai's help they were able to pinpoint where Shredder's room would be and headed there first.
Leo slowly opened the door and he checked out the room noticing a figure laying in the bed. He signaled the others and they entered the room quietly, all of them gathering around the bed. Leo reached for the sheets and pulled them back off the bed, everyone having their weapons raised, but stopped when they all saw nothing but pillows.
Kara blinked hearing a soft buzzing noise and tilted her head upwards to see Stockman crawling on the wall. She jumped out of the way as he began spitting his acidic saliva at them all til he landed on the ground in front of them.
"Foolzz, there izz nothing you can do againzzt the Zzupper Shredder! He izz perfection itzzelf! My boy Shredder izz going to-"
Kara rolled her eyes and went to take a step forward to end his monologuing when Mikey grabbed one of the retro-mutagens from Donnie's belt and threw it at Stockman. "Eat retromutagen, Buxton Bugbrain!"
"Argh! It's Baxter, you-huh?!" He stumbled backwards feeling his body beginning to change. "No, no, bzz, no!" He stumbled onto the bed and rolled over on the other side as the re-transformation was near complete.
Leo and the others took a step forward, hands on their weapons, but Kara held her arm out to stop them, staring at the spot he was at.
Now human Baxter Stockman pulled himself up from the ground and stared at his hand in surprise. "I'm-I'm human again? You turned me back?"
"Yeah, dude! Are you happy or what?" Mikey shouted in excitement as Stockman walked up to him.
"You jerk! I liked being a fly! Why do you think I never demutated myself? Sure, I was super disgusting, but I was smarter, faster, stronger. People liked me as a bug!"
Dragan growled under her breath and walked up to him, grabbing him by his shirt and pulling him close so they were face to face. "No one liked ye as a fly. Thay tolerated ya. Used you! Used ye tae do wrong an evil acts! Ye hae a gift, Baxter, consider this action a wake up call an do something good with your talents." She dropped his shirt, moving him away from her, causing him to stumble backwards a bit and look at her in surprise. "Or else we'll be bak for ya." She turned around and walked away, Kara following behind her.
"You're welcome." Mikey said with a smirk while clicking his tongue at him.
"Michel that retro-mutagen was for Super Shredder. I only have one does left now, thanks!" Donnie shouted at Mikey as they all followed after the girls.
"Sorry, D. But he didn't even say thank you! How ungrateful can you be?" Mikey asked glancing behind him at Baxter.
"Super Shredder is close. I can feel him." April stopped to look around. "Let's make our way up." April pointed to the ceiling and they ran to the stairs that lead to the next floor.
Everyone had their guard up as they stepped foot in the empty, dark room.
Kara went to lift the Blindfold over her eyes when she suddenly heard Bebop speaking.
"Aww, look at this. They think they're entering the Dragon."
Kara turned her attention ahead of her to see Rocksteady stepping forward and Bebop revealing himself while doing a Michael Jackson pose. "Whoo-hoo! Yeah! Turts be trippin'! You seriously think you can sneak up in our house? This is our house!" Bebop shouted, pointing at the ground.
"Really? I thought it was Shredder's." Kara crossed her arms, smirking their way, her comment taking them by surprise.
"Little human is right, Bebop.." Rocksteady whispered to Bebop.
"Oh, great. Figures Bacon and Bonehead would be here." Casey said rolling his eyes.
"Hey, we are the Bebop and the Rocksteady, not the Bacons and the Bonehead!" Rocksteady interjected starting to get angry.
"Shut up, Bonehead! Check it out, Turtles: our state-of-the-art super dope training facility." Bebop began as he walked towards a wide pole. "And guess what?" He flipped open a panel a wide grin on his face. "It's programmed to eliminate freaky-deaky turtles like you!" The floor beneath them parted and they stepped off it and onto bamboo flooring instead.
"Da! And tiny teenage human friends!" Rocksteady added in. Turrets lifted up from the ground and they began to fire at them all.
Dragan ran in front of Kara and held out her shield, protecting them both from the barrage of bullets.
Kara grimaced feeling helpless and looked around trying to find a way to help though saw Leo and Raph taking down the turrets.
"Let us crank the puppy up to eleven, shall we?" Rocksteady began to turn a knob. Having her eyes closed, Kara gasped and grabbed Dragan, jumping away from the bamboo floor as it opened up, revealing and dropping Donnie, Mikey, Casey, and April down into a pit.. Razor sharp saw blades raced out from the walls and the guys and April began to scramble around, trying to avoid them.
Dragan backed away from Rocksteady, the guys and Kara behind her and her shield as he fired at them all. Leo and Raph jumped out from both sides to attack Rocksteady while Kara jumped on top of him, pulling at his ears. "Ah! No fair! My ears are sensitive!"
"Sensitize this!" Kara shouted while bringing her taser out and jumped off him before using it on him at medium high notch. He let out a yell before dropping to the floor, spirals in his eyes.
With a sigh she glanced over to see Raph stabbing his sai into the controls to stop the mechanism down below. A small smile crossed her face and she looked down to see it had actually stopped. Her smile disappeared when she heard a groan and turned around to see Rocksteady getting back up. "No way..he was able to get up after that?"
With a huff from his nostrils he glared down at her. "You will pay for that, little human girl. Raaah!"
Kara narrowed her eyes and got herself ready to attack but blinked when one of the hanging spiked balls crashed into Rocksteady, pining him to the wall. She turned around and saw Donnie skidding around to the panel and smiled more.
When Bebop came into view and aimed at Donnie she ran at him and punched him across the face while Raph grabbed his arm and threw him onto the ground.
"Almost got it...Yes!" Donnie shouted, his hack successful, the machines turning off and bringing the others back to their level. "How about a little training session, B&R?" Donnie said as Kara walked to his side.
"Whoo-hoo, I'm outtie five-thousie! Oooh! Sham on, Sham on!"
Donnie smirked as he pressed the button, the turrets turning on them.
"That's my mutant." Kara looked up at Donnie, having her arm on his shoulder. Mikey walked up and fist bumped Donnie and they all left the area.
Next room mainly consisted of laterns, pillows, and paper blinds. Leo poked his head up from behind one but let out a gasp as a robotic arm ripped through the paper and almost caught him.
Tigerclaw emerged and searched around for them.
'Wow, Tigerclaw! Liking the new steel paw look. Pretty cool." Raph commented.
"You're one cape away from looking like a comic book villain." Kara added in with a snicker.
"Do not mock me, Turtles. As punishment, I'll take all of your hands."
"Turtles atta-"
"Wait!"
Everyone froze in place, everyone landing in the center of the room, as Kara and Dragan walked out of hiding, their eyes on Tigerclaw.
"We can handle Tigerclaw ourselves, lads." Dragan said as she slid her sword out from it's scabbard.
"We have unfinished business with him. We'll catch up with you guys." Kara punched her fist into her palm, glaring at Tigerclaw.
"They won't be going anywhere." Tigerclaw chuckled and pressed a button with his foot, a trap door opening underneath the guys and dropping them down into a pit.
They began to stand when they suddenly heard low growls from behind them. Donnie turned around to see three large tigers stalking towards them, teeth bared with hunger in their eyes.
"A tiger can eat fifty pounds of meat in a night." Tigerclaw chuckled, staring at the girls with wide eyes, both of them able to hear the growls of the hungry predators.
"Too bad thay're goin' tae starve." Dragan told him a calm anger as both of them charged.
Tigerclaw was able to fight the two girls off with his robotic hand and sword. He chuckled darkly as they locked weapons with another. "Do you two feel it? The weight of this cruel world crushing you, now that your precious Sensei is gone?"
The girl's eyes widened but glared at him as they continued to hold him off.
"Once you are taken of we will finish what we started on your parents and sister, Kara. Making sure to let them know their little girl failed them all." Tigerclaw let out a malicious laugh.
"You. Filthy. ANIMAL!" Kara shouted as both girls pushed him back with their strength combined. Dragan threw her sword in the air, switching arms, and caught it midair before slicing downwards onto Tigerclaw's robotic hand.
Tigerclaw let out a grunt but ran towards a wall and stuck his hand in a hole, now having an actual claw hand.
Dragan wasted no time in closing the distance between them and slammed her armored boot on his foot causing him to yell out in pain and while he was distracted, cut his hand off again. She then kicked him to the ground having her sword pointed right at his throat.
"Do you not understand what Shredder has done?" Kara asked calmly as she stepped towards him. "He turned on the people who he once called friends and tried to kill them. Shredder has entered a darkness that he will not be able to escape from and soon it will only be a matter of time before he turns on you and his other little minions." Kara stopped for a moment, closing her eyes as she took a deep breath. "The moment you brought the innocent into this little war of his; every thought I had that you were once good vanished from my mind." Tigerclaw's eyes widened when Kara opened her eyes, glaring down at him with such hate, it almost seemed as if her eyes were glowing.
"Tsk, your words mean nothing to me, Kara." Tigerclaw stabbed his nub into the holster in his side and in one swift movement aimed his gun at Dragan. Dragan gasped and rolled out of the way just as he began to fire and looked up to see Tigerclaw flying at Kara with his rocket and tackled her out the room to the outside.
"Kara!" Donnie shouted seeing Kara fighting off Tigerclaw in the air.
Dragan ran outside and joined the others seeing they were safe and sound before looking up at Kara and Tigerclaw. "Finish him off.."
Kara punched him across the face and pulled her taser out, stabbing it right in to his rocket. "So long, pussy cat." Kara smirked, pushing away from him while flicking the taser on causing the rocket not only to malfunction and explode but to shock Tigerclaw as he flew around roaring in pain, trying to get the taser out.
Kara felt calm as she began to free fall til she felt herself stop and glanced over at April and the others with a smile as she levitated Kara to them.
"Nice job, Kara, though I would hae done it wi a lot more class an flash." Dragan chuckled as Kara was set down.
"Hey, I work with what I got." Kara closed her eyes with a grin while shrugging her shoulders but froze, tilting her head upwards to the roof of the mansion, her eyes narrowed.
Leo and the others followed suit seeing him.
"Shredder."
Shredder stared down at them as he held out a Molotov and gently tossed it down towards them. Dragan held up her shield over their heads but the Molotov bounced off and landed behind them, a wall of fire coming between them and Casey and April. Casey and April stumbled backwards to get away from the fire only to hit the edge and fall. Even though April was able to save both of them the Molotov landed right in front of them, blocking their path to join the others.
Shredder watched them for a moment before calmly walking away from the scene.
"Let's finish this!" Raph shouted, all of them bringing out their grappling hooks and heading straight for the roof.
Thunder clamped around the scene as the fire reached inside the mansion and began to spread.
Leo, Dragan, and Kara were the first to make it to the top.
"Your time is up, Shredder." Leo stated having both his katanas out.
" I was wrong. I thought after the death of your master that you would flee from the city as you did before. Afraid to face me. Afraid to embrace your fate." Shredder turned around to face the three.
"Don't flatter yourself, Freak-Nut." Raph said to him.
"Yeah! You're not so tough, Cheese Grater! We got you." Mikey added in.
"The minute your brought my family into this..you made it very personal." Kara brought out her blades and took her stance, staring right into his eyes with a hate that carried a steely resolve.
Shredder stared at her able to see both her eyes clear as day. "The fools were pathetic weaklings from the beginning. It only took my transformation to perfection to realize it."
"Your perfection will be your downfall, Shredder." Dragan said while holding her sword up to her face, glaring at him.
"Tonight, it ends." Donnie finished, activating his blade and pointed it right at him.
Shredder threw off his cape, his muscles growing some as he stood in place, ready to face the turtles and girls.
By this time, the girls had already disappeared while the guys jumped in the air, vanishing out of Shredder's sight underneath the Red Moon.
Shredder's eyes wandered the scene searching for them only to feel a punch across his face, Kara flashing by, another hit on his other side by Raph, a smack against his back by Donnie, the sting of chains by Mikey, and lastly, two slashes of swords by Dragan and Leo.
The guys all flipped in the air, landing around Shredder as Kara and Dragan distracted Shredder with their tag teaming. Dragan blocked his attacks while Kara went on offense. When both girls were pushed back they ran at Shredder and sliced at him, Kara and Dragan crossing over each other's paths and ran past Shredder.
Donnie struck Shredder from behind and when he went to look Leo stood before him and slashed his chest but when it did nothing he jumped over Raph as he attacked from above. When he was forced back Donnie flew in right behind him, his attack having Shredder take a step back.
Dragan swooped in and sliced at Shredder's feet from behind while Donnie rolled in front of him, on to his hands, and kicked upwards, smacking his feet against Shredder's chin. While Shredder stumbled backwards and Donnie was midair, Raph jumped over Donnie and took hold of his hand, Donnie throwing him at Shredder.
As Shredder landed on his back Raph went to stab his sai into Shredder's chest but he lifted his leg up and kicked Raph into the chain fence, rolling onto his knees before pushing himself toward Raph. He swung his arm at Raph for an attack but Raph moved out of the way, Shredder cutting the fence instead.
Shredder looked up to see Mikey and Kara falling towards him with their weapons raised and jumped backwards as they landed.
None of their attacks made contact nor seemed to effect Shredder in the least as he dodged, spun, or threw them around.
Dragan saw Mikey turn his nunchuks into a large chain and turned towards Kara, shouting her name. Kara nodded and ran at Dragan as she bent her knees and tilted her shield towards Shredder. Kara jumped over Dragan and planted her feet onto her shield, her knees bent as low as they could go. With a strained yell Dragan used all her strength to throw Kara straight at Shredder.
He went to take a step back but when his heel caught the chain he began to fall backwards. When Kara made contact with him she punched him as hard as she could, the impact throwing him to the ground. She flipped over him as Leo and Raph chained his arms out, restraining him, Kara and Dragan helping the boys pull on the chains.
"Donnie!"Mikey shouted, throwing his staff in the sky right at him. Donnie caught it and spun it around so the blade was pointed downwards and began to fall right towards Shredder. Before his blade could make contact though, Shredder broke free from the chains and stopped Donnie's weapon between his hands.
Donnie glared down at Shredder as he jumped off him and threw the retro-mutagen right at his heart.
Shredder began to groan and everyone moved away from him and watched the see if it would work.
After a moment, Shredder stood before them completely unchanged and went to attack them, going for Mikey first. Mikey jumped up to dodge his attack but he was smacked away and flew over the edge but managed to grab hold of it.
Donnie gasped and went to go save him. "The retro-mutagen has no effect!" Before Donnie could even get close to Mikey Shredder was over him and raised his fist to attack. Donnie stepped to the side to avoid his attack and jumped backwards onto the fence but Shredder kicked the fence which caused Donnie to fall off it and roll over the edge, falling towards the ground.
"Donnie!" Kara yelled and ran to go save him. She pressed herself over the roofs edge and sighed in relief to see April saving him. She stood up straight and turned towards Shredder while Dragan helped Mikey to his feet.
"I gotcha, Mikey." Dragan said as she pulled Mikey back onto the roof. "It's true..he is too far gone."
"We already knew this. There's only one way to stop this madness." Kara looked down at her hands wondering if she'd have the strength to really go through with it. Her head snapped forward when she heard Leo and Raph crying out in pain and saw Shredder slamming Raph into the ground.
"Pathetic." Shredder said before dragging a downed Raph by the ankle and throwing him into the doorway that lead inside the house. "Redundant."
"Woooooh!" Mikey stood on top of the fence and began to swing his nunchuks around, the light from the fire creating the illusion that they were glowing, and he jumped towards Shredder, spinning as he swung his nunchuks. Shredder stepped back and grabbed a hold of one, slamming Mikey on to an A/C unit and kicking him over the roof. Kara turned to grab at him but he was already falling. Luckily, April was able to rescue him as well.
"I'm done with you, ya metal freak!" Raph shouted as he burst through the door. He and Kara ran at him, Raph going for an above attack. Kara tackled Shredder's while Raph landed on his shoulder and they spun around as both of them were beating on him. Shredder grabbed Kara and ripped her off him, throwing her over the edge as well but she stabbed her blades onto the ledge and caught herself.
She pulled herself up and went to assist Raph as he continuously slammed Shredder's head against the boiler. She walked over to Dragan noticing the fire was making its way towards them.
"We need tae finish this quickly."
"Agreed."
Both girls took a step forward only to jump back when the fire reached them quicker than expected. "Up the stairs!" Kara pointed as they both ran around the fire, having to climb to the upper level. They made it in time to see Shredder and Leo locking weapons.
"You killed him! He was your brother, and you killed him!" Shredder's eyes widened at his words and he swung downwards, unbalancing Leo and kicked him away. "He was your brother, Saki. Your best friend! How could you do that?!" Leo shouted as he ran at Shredder for another attack.
All Kara could do was watch as they fought each other. Just like when they fought for the first time, she only watched. But this time, she wanted answers, she wanted to know what really could have happened between them that caused this hatred to last so long.
"Splinter was cursed to become a loathsome rat! It was his fate, his destiny!" Shredder shouted as he lifted Leo up by his plastron.
Kara's eyes widened in fury, her fingers gripped into a fist as she began to walk towards them.
"Kara, wha.." Dragan went to reach her hand out to her wondering what she was doing but looked forward hearing Leo yelling more.
"You're a monster! A demon! Is that your destiny?!"
Shredder stared at him a moment before turning his head away. "No, I, I'm-"
Leo's pupils dilated in anger as he brought out his sword and went to finish Shredder off.
Shredder caught Leo's arm mid-swing and bent it out of place, dislocating it. Leo let out a scream of pain, dropping his sword in the process. Shredder tossed Leo in the air before sending a punch into his stomach, throwing him across the roof.
"Leo!" Dragan shouted as she ran with all her might to catch. She slid behind him and held up her shield to stop him but when he made contact the force pushed Dragan over the edge instead. With one last move, she nudged Leo with her shield so he was on the roof with just enough room to where he wouldn't fall. The last thing she saw was stepping between Leo and Shredder.
April managed to save Dragan and lowered her safely to the ground. "Dragan, you ok?"
"Yeah, I'm fine.." She lifted her head up to the roof where Kara and Leo were the only ones left. "It's up tae them now.."
"I want you to look me in the eyes Shredder. I want you to look me dead in the eyes and remember the pain you caused my family. The suffering they endured because of your selfish acts. Because it's going to be the last thing you remember when I end your disgraceful life." Kara took one step forward then charged at him.
Leo struggled to open his eyes through the pain in his arm. When he did he lifted his gaze to see Kara fighting Shredder on her own. He went to stand up but dropped when he put pressure on his broken arm and squeezed his eyes shut beginning to doubt being able to defeat him.
"Leonardo."
Leo opened his eyes in surprise and looked ahead to see Splinter walking through the fire towards him. "Fear nothing." Leo stared at him before his eyes changed into their ninja mode and he jumped to his feet, running towards them shouting his battlecry.
Hearing him, Kara bent down as Leo flew over her, punching Shredder across the face. She grabbed the bottom of his feet and pushed him over Shredder to where his sword is. She then slid behind him and sent her fist into his shoulder, causing him to bend forward some as she ran to where Leo was.
She turned around to face Shredder as the three of them before Leo and Kara made the first move. With a yell they all ran at each other for the final attack.
Dragan and the others watched the mansion go up in flames.
"I can't believe it.." Casey and the others ran to get a better view of the house.
"Leo!" April shouted.
"KARA!!" Dragan and Donnie shouted in worry.
"They're gone?" Raph whispered softly.
"No. No, they can't be!"
Leo and Kara walked towards the edge of the hill above the others, Shredder's mask in both their hands.
"Leo! Kara!" Mikey shouted excitedly.
"Brother!" Raph shouted as well.
"Yes!" Dragan shouted, throwing her fist in the air.
"Kara.." Donnie smiled in relief. His smile widened when Dragan hugged him, which he returned.
Kara and Leo looked at each other before raising Shredder's mask over their heads.
"Shredder is finished." Leo said just before the two of them let it go, the sound of clanging metal reaching their ears as it hit the ground.
-In New York-
Dragan, Leo, and Karai were sitting on the edge of a building discussing the fight with Shredder.
"Karai, I'm so sorry." Leo said hanging his head low.
"There's nothing to be sorry about, Leo. I just wanted to thank you for finishing what no one else could."
Dragan nodded, now back in her regular clothes and leaned back some only to blink when she heard running from behind them. She turned to see only to watch Raph throw his arms around Leo and Kara around her, back in her normal clothes as well, her eye covered up again.
"You did it, brother. You ended the Shredder."
"It was a team effort, guys. We all did it." Kara grinned excitedly while Dragan smiled at her. "Ye are correct on that."
"Don't squeeze me so hard, Raph. I'm still recovering." Leo smiled at his brother and looked over as Dragan took his hand, smiling at him.
"So, what are we gonna do next?" Donnie asked, stepping from behind the billboard.
"Oh, I'm sure there'll be plenty of enemies willing to take Shredder's place." April answered, stepping towards the edge.
"Tigerclaw's still out there." Casey said while holding his hockey stick out, hitting a puck in the air. "The Foot clan isn't out of the game yet, dudes." He said before hitting the puck harder, it flying in the air.
"As well as Shredder's other goons." Kara added in, moving next to Donnie.
"Hwa!" Mikey jumped up and kicked the puck out into the street before landing in front of the others. "Whatever evil emerges, we'll be ready 'cause we're awesome!"
"That's right, Mikey. And we'll do it together. Right, Sensei?" Leo voice softened as he and the others stared off into the distance.

To Natalie: First of all..I don't think I'll be as good as writing smut as much as I am with action. I guess if other people want to see it then I'll give it a try? But I don't think I will anytime soon. As for the movies. Hmm..perhaps. What do you guys think? Should I write one-shots of the movies?Let me know in the reviews :)
