Kara was sitting out on the balcony with a blanket placed over her, staring off into space.
"Hey. Ye ok?" Dragan asked, sitting down beside Kara in her pajamas.
"Yeah, just thinking." Kara lowered her head to the ground, staring down at her hands. "We've fought gangsters, mutants, Shredder, and aliens. Do...do we have the skills to face something like Kavaxas?"
"Yes, we can. We've faced worse odds than this. We can stop Kavaxas ad Tigerclaw from resurrecting Shredder. Ye just need tae believe in yourself. You're strong, Kara. Don't forget how far you've come wi just your skills alone." Dragan smiled, placing her hand on Kara's shoulder, giving her a gentle shake.
Kara looked over at her and nodded with a smile. "Thanks, Dre." She blinked when she heard her phone go off and looked down receiving a message from Donnie. "Looks like their plan is in effect. Let's go." Kara removed the blanket, already in her normal outfit, and stood to her feet.
"Right." Dragan stood as well but stopped and looked down, remembering she was still in her PJ's. "Uh..give me a minute. Heh." Dragan rubbed the back of her head, embarrassed, before running quietly inside to change.
Kara watched her and turned towards the couch to see Sara still asleep. Thinking it best for her to rest, she waited for Dragan to return before they both left.
-With Dragan-
"The time is nigh, my fateful Foot, for the resurrection of Master Shredder is tonight! Soon we will be graced by his presence once more. Long live the Foot!" Tigerclaw roared as his subjects began their eerie chant.
"How's it lookin' down thare, guys?" Dragan asked through her bluetooth, keeping guard while Raph and Mikey were recording what Tigerclaw's plan was for reviving Shredder.
"Dude! We are in total cyber-ninja mode, yo. Booyakash-"
"Shh! We won't be ling if you don't zip it." Raph whispered harshly to Mikey. "Still haven't heard their plans yet, Dre." Raph said through his mic while he tried balancing the mic mid-air. "Any sign of the enemy?"
"Not yet. I'm sure thay would hve their goons patrollin' the area by now.."
"Team Braniac, this is Team Awesome standing by. Over." Mikey whispered into his mic.
"We're in pursuit of Rocksteady's van as we speak. Has Tigerclaw mentioned what they're looking for?" Donnie asked over his phone as he and Leo stopped on to a fire escape to scope out the area.
"Negatory, Team Braniac. Team Kickbuttbabes, anything to report?"
"Seriously, Mikey?" Kara chuckled over her bluetooth, driving beside Karai and April on Karai's motorcycle. Thanks to Dragan and Donnie, Kara's moped was able to match the speed of Karai's motorcycle.
"Team Kickbuttbabes?" Karai chuckled.
"In pursuit of Bebop now. We're losing him!" April shouted to Karai.
"Keep your jumpsuit on, O'Neil. I've got this."
Kara dug through her bag and smirked while bringing out a tracking star and threw it at Bebop, it hitting his backpack, just as he rounded a corner. Pulling out her phone, she placed it underneath her speedometer, turning the tracking app on. "I've got him. Follow me." She revved her gas and drove in front of Karai til they were able to catch up to him.
Seeing no one around, Dragan sheathed her sword and stepped towards the edge where Raph and Mikey were, staring down at Tigerclaw, Kavaxas, and their minions.
"Faithful followers, for Kavaxas to resurrect the great Shredder, we must obtain one final item: The Shredder's heart!"
"Weird. I didn't think Shredder even had a heart." Mikey whispered.
"Shh!" Raph glared at him.
"How will thay be able tae find such a thing?" Dragan whispered softly.
"I have already sent Zeck and Steranko to find the heart." Tigerclaw said to his minions.
"If they fail me, I will have both their souls." Kavaxas clenched his claws, smirking to himself.
"You mean, if they fail me, Kavaxas." Tigerclaw glanced back at him, who turned away, his smirk widening.
"Ok, team, now we know what they're looking for. It's, um, gross and weird, but we have to stop them." Leo said through his phone.
"I bet it's small and as black as a dark hole." Kara muttered in her mic making April and Karai chuckle. "There he is." Kara pointed up at Bebop but blinked when she saw his head turn in their direction. "He knows!" She yelled, slowing down her moped, Karai and April zooming past her. "Guys, wait!"
Bebop jumped up and threw his laser mohawk down at them, hitting the motorcycle and causing it to explode, throwing the girls off it.
April used her powers last second to save both of them. "Nice save, April. Bacon breath is gonna pay for that."
Kara drove up to them and nodded her head to them. "Hop on. We can still catch up." April climbed in behind Kara while Karai sat down in the side car.
"This is so humiliating.." Karai muttered.
"Hey, beggers can't be choosers." Kara grinned at her and drove off to catch up with Bebop.
"I think it's cool though." She said with a pout.
Kara stopped in the alley behind Bebop and turned off her moped. She placed her finger to her lips to the girls while pointing up at Bebop unaware that Donnie and Leo were there.
"I see the heart, yo. Dang! I bet that fool is nasty enough to try and eat it. Blech!"
Kara closed her eyes and tapped her foot on the ground, able to see Don Vizioso filling his mouthhole as fast as he could. "Geez, what's the guy think his food is going to run away? This guy is disgusting.." Kara whispered. "Every time we come near this guy he is always eating. I'm surprised he hasn't died from a heart attack or something.."
"No worries. Be like taking candy from a big, ugly baby." Bebop turned invisible.
Kara kept her eyes closed and followed his movements towards the restaurant. "You two stay here. I'll sneak in after Bebop and take the heart from him once he has it."
"Ok. Be careful, Kara."
"No worries, Aps. I got this." Kara grinned, pointing at herself and snuck past Rocksteady's van and going through the entrance silently. She glanced behind her making sure no one had noticed her walking in when one of Vizioso's goons was in front of her, plates in hand.
Before he could make a noise, she headbutted him hard enough to knock him out, and grabbed the plates before they could fall. "Heh, nice." She grinned at herself and set the empty, dirty plates on a small table and poked her head through the window in the door. Everything looked normal so far so she closed her eyes and saw Bebop sneaking up to the table. She clenched her fist and waited for the right time. "The minute he grabs the heart I'll take it from him and run. Be ready to flee, girls." She said to April and Karai.
"Got it." April confirmed.
Kara opened the door enough to where she could slide through and rolled behind a table, crouched low. She mentally smacked her forehead when she saw him pick up a piece of lamb chop instead of the heart, ending up blowing his own cover.
"Ooooh, snap!" Bebop leaned back, dodging the twins attack and rolled forward, placing his hand to his earpiece. "Yo, let's do this, Plan B."
"Plan B?" Kara questioned, only to yell in surprise as Rocksteady burst through the doors carrying his heavy weapon. "Ohmygosh!" Kara pressed herself against the wall eyes wide in panic. "I could use Dragan right about now.."
-With Dragan-
Dragan was helping Mikey and Raph up over the edge when she let out a small sneeze and blinked in surprise, wondering where that came from.
"Sounds like someone is thinking about you." Mikey said with a giggle and poking her cheek.
Dragan rolled her eyes as they all ran back to the lair.
-With Kara-
"Let us party time like it nineteen ninety-five!" Rocksteady shouted as he fired his heavy weapon but one of Vizioso's goons jumped on him causing Rocksteady to fire everywhere.
Kara moved out of the way and decided it was time to act now. She ran straight for the Don and snatched the heart from the table."I'll be taking that, thank you." She turned around but the minute she did she was met with a punch in the face by one of the twins.
"I don't think so, mutant hippie." He said while calmly adjusting the sleeve of his jacket. She glared and kicked under his feet, knocking him to the ground. She stood back to her feet and heard an explosion behind her, seeing Leo and Donnie enter the fight.
"More muties? Waste 'em!" Vizioso yelled, pointing at them all.
"Kara?" Leo asked but blinked seeing the heart on the table. "The heart!"
The other twin punched Leo in the face and did the same thing his brother did. "Forget it, freak." He smirked, staring down at Leo only to get thrown into the ceiling by Rocksteady.
"You get rocked by Rocksteady."
"Payback time, Vizioso!" Donnie yelled as he jumped on top of Rocksteady, pushing him down, and ran towards Vizioso. He pushed the heart out of his hands with his bo staff and jumped onto the table, catching it in his hand. He smirked down at the trembling Vizioso but grunted in pain as he was pulled off the table by his ankles, the back of his head slamming onto the table.
"Hey, yo, Boss, you want us to take out the trash?" The hammer asked, removing his hammer from around his neck.
"Gladly!" Kara shouted, tackling him from the side and slammed his head through the wall.
"Hey, yo.." He mumbled weakly before passing out.
"I'll be taking THAT as payment." Kara grabbed the heart and smiled down at Donnie, holding her other hand out to him. He smiled back and went to grab her hand til Bebop shoved her out of the way and took the heart from her.
"I got it!" Bebop shouted, raising it up in victory til Donnie threw his staff at him, knocking him down with the heart being thrown in the air.
Leo jumped over Bebop and went to grab at it but Vizioso flew past him on his rocket chair and took it before he could even touch it.
"Choke on this, you freaks!" Vizoso pushed a button as a robot arm holding a large pistol fired at them all, the bullets containing the mutant smoke as it began to fill the room.
Kara covered her mouth and ran at the goons firing at her friends to give them time to flee. "I got your back, guys!" She glanced behind her to see Donnie running after Vizioso and trying to pry open the hidden door he fled through. "Donnie! Run!" She threw one goon into another and sent an upper kick to the last one and turned around in time to see Donnie fall over.
"Donnie!" She ran to both of them and helped Donnie to his feet while grabbing Leo's arm to escape before they could get hurt, unaware that Bebop and Rocksteady were already gone.
Kara saw the exit and shoved the two out first so they could cough up whatever smoke they breathed in and closed the door behind her, slumping to the ground. She looked over at Donnie seeing him punch the ground and glare up at the sky.
April and Karai drove over to them and jumped out to see if they were alright.
"We're fine. Come on, we got to tell the others what happened." Kara stood to her feet and looked from them to her moped wondering how she was going to fit everyone on.
"Don't worry, Kara, Karai and I will walk to the lair. Get the guys taken care of." April said to her, smiling.
"Yeah, we'll be ok." Karai nodded in agreement.
Kara smiled to them with a nod and helped Leo into the side car and Donnie behind her. When she felt Donnie's arms around her she began to smile but blinked when his grip tightened some. She glanced back at him noting the angry look still in his eyes and turned away, driving towards the lair.
Back at the lair, everyone was gathered in the kitchen to discuss what had happened.
"Oh, man, we almost had the heart! Stupid gangsters! Why is our luck getting worse?" Donnie smacked his head on the table.
Kara was staring at him deep in thought when she looked to Leo noticing something was on his mind, something that had to do with Donnie.
"The good news is that neither Tigerclaw nor Kavaxas has the heart so thare's still a chance tae retrieve it from Vizioso."
"Yeah, and since they don't have it yet we can still find Vizioso and stop whatever he plans on doing with it." April added in.
'Accent on the "yet" part." Mikey added in as well, walking around with Chompy in the air.
"No! We'll get it, and when we do, that thug Vizioso is going down!" Donnie yelled, planting pressing his thumb on the table.
"I'm impressed. I kinda like you ticked off, Donnie." Raph said with a smirk, glancing at Kara who turned away with a light blush on her face.
She shook her head and stepped forward. "What happened back there? You had the heart in your hand so why were you so bent on going after Vizioso?"
"He deserves payback after what he tried to do to me!"
"You can't just leave Leo and I behind for something as petty revenge! We have bigger things to worry about!"
Oh, yeah, like you're one to talk! You're always the one who runs off on their own!" Donnie yelled, standing to his feet and narrowed his eyes at her.
"What?" Kara blinked in surprise as he began walking up to her.
"Like when you went to face off Shredder with Karai? Or when you were gone and ended up getting brainwashed?! You have no right to tell me not to leave you behind when that's all you ever do!" He yelled now getting in her face.
Everyone stared at him in shock, this being the first time Donnie ever yelled at Kara.
Kara stared at him wide eyed before narrowing her eyes at him, clenching her fist. "Yeah? And you of all people should know how that turned out. Is that how you want to be, Donnie? Close to dying because you let something like revenge clog your mind? Or worse, change who you are?" She stepped back, relaxing her hands and turned away, pain in her voice. "If that's how you want it to be then leave me out of this mission. I'm going home.." She closed her eyes and left.
Dragan watched with sad eyes as Kara left and turned to Donnie seeing his face starting to relax, realizing what he just said. "Donnie.."
"She's right. You being ticked off isn't helping any. It's your fault we blew it, Donnie."
Donnie snapped his head in Leo's direction, glaring at him. "My fault?!" Leo and Donnie began to butt heads, growling at each other til Karai intervened, pulling them apart.
"Vizioso is a minor inconvenience compare to Kavaxas. How we do stop THAT monster?"
"Tigerclaw has this Seal that seems to control him. It's some kind of ancient magic."
"So if we geit it away from him then maybe-"
"Maybe we can control Hot head! Then he can make us pizza, play video games with me, even clean my room!" Mikey yelled excitedly, throwing Chompy in the air as he fell backwards. Chompy let out a yelp as he began to fall but Raph caught him in time and placed him gently on his shoulder.
"Alright, first things first. We know the Don uses the Highnight Hotel as his safe house. We start there. Infiltrate the hotel and get the heart before the Foot does." Leo said to them all.
"Ye really don't think he'd go somewhere we'd know he'd be at, right?"
-Outside the Hotel-
"Well, what do ya know, I was wrong." Dragan said, lowering the binoculars from her eyes, seeing the twins standing by the window.
Leo looked at them all and nodded, all of them moving to get closer but Donnie stayed behind, glared down at the hotel and went a different path.
The others hid underneath the trainrails above the hotel.
"If Tigerclaw shows up with Kavaxas, do whatever you can to get that Seal."
"What about ye, Leo?"
"I'm going in alone, full stealth to get the heart from the Don."
"Are you kidding me, Leo?"
"The Solo-Leo act is getting a little stale, bro."
"Raph an Mikey are right. This is somethin' that ye can't do alone. Specially wi what kind o' weapons thay hae."
"Ninja stealth is the only option."
Dragan rolled her eyes but blinked seeing movement above them near the hotel.
"Whelp, Donnie is in total agreement with you, dude." Mikey said, following Dragan's eyes.
"What?!" Leo yelled looking up to where they were looking.
"He's going in solo, bro. Full-Ninja-Stealth."
"Woah! Angry Donnie making it happen. Sucks Kara isn't here to see this." Raph smirked, watching his younger brother.
Leo growled and pulled out his phone, dialing his number. "Donatello, what are you doing?!" Leo whispered harshly when he answered.
"I'm getting that heart and putting an end to Vizioso for good!" Donnie said as he attached his grappling hook to an A/C unit.
"Whaever's between you and the Don doesn't matter. You're jeopardizing the mission."
"Oh, come on. Look at all the anti-mutant weapons he's built. We need to put a stop to this, and we need to do it now. Donnie out!" Donnie hung up on Leo and lowered himself down.
"Donnie!" Leo yelled into the phone.
"Uh, guys, stealth isn't going to matter!" April pointed ahead to see Bebop and Rocksteady's van racing towards the hotel.
"Oh, great..Change o' plans. Leo, ye an I will go an back up Donnie an geit the heart. The rest o' ya distract Bebop an Rocksteady. If Tigerclaw an Kavaxas arrive, ye aw know what tae do. Got it?"
"Got it!" They all nodded and jumped down while Leo and Dragan ran for the hotel.
Dragan looked up to find Donnie and saw him flailing around, dodging the rockets and grab a hold of one of the letters on the sign.
Donnie sighed in relief but blinked when the letter began to loosen from it's hold. He let out a yell as it fell with him along with it.
Dragan ran faster and caught him before he could crash to the ground and gently set him down. "Ye ok, D?"
"Yeah, I'm fi-aah!" The three dodged Rocksteady's hammer and looked over to them Bebop and Rocksteady running for them. Dragan pulled out her sword and shield, standing in front of the two. "Ye guys go ahead, I'll tak care o' these two."
"Are you sure, Dra-"
"Aw o' this will be for nothin' if we let Kavaxas raise Shredder! Now go!"
Leo and Donnie looked at each other and nodded, running past them.
Bebop and Rocksteady skid to a halt and turned around to attack them but Dragan ran at them with her sword raised high. "I am your opponent! Your eyes will only be on me!" She yelled as she smacked away Bebop with her shield and locked her sword with Rocksteady's horn.
Kavaxas stared down at the fallen Hammer and sneered. "These mortals are not worth my time." Tigerclaw was firing at the guys while Kavaxas held his hand up, grinning wide, as he hand began to glow to power up his attack when Karai jumped onto him, locking her legs around his neck, and pulled him down.
Raph tackled Tigerclaw to the ground, in which made him drop the Seal. Tigerclaw yelled as the Seal rolled away.
Kavaxas threw Karai and April off him and went flying for the seal. Karai hissed and changed into her mutant form, slithering after him and wrapped herself around him. As he fell to the ground April used her powers to lift the Seal off the ground and tossed it in the air where Mikey swung around with his grappling hook and caught it in his hand.
"Cowabungaaa!" He yelled as he hooked onto the passing train, fleeing the scene. Tigerclaw growled and followed after him with his jetpack.
Rocksteady pushed Dragan into the wall with his horns, both still locked together. "We crush you like little grape!" Dragan glared and shoved her shield into his chin, forcing his head upwards and went to strike but she saw Bebop powering up his mohawk so she hooked her sword around his horn and pulled him down to where she was, Rocksteady taking the hit instead, as he was thrown to the ground, knocked out.
Bebop ran over to him and began to quiver nervously. "Dang, Rock is gonna be so mad at me."
"Let's make this even, shall we?" Dragan tapped him on the shoulder and when he turned to look, she smacked her shield into his face as hard a she could, knocking him out cold.
Dragan smirked down at them, sheathing her sword, and ran into the hotel after Donnie and Leo.
-With Mikey-
Mikey was running through the top of the train when he noticed Tigerclaw near him.
"Do you think you can keep the Seal from me?" He growled while flying around him.
"Well, duh." Mikey said as he glanced back at him, thinking he had lost Tigerclaw when was suddenly in front of him and tackled Mikey down.
"Where is the Seal?!" Tigerclaw yelled as he slammed his foot on Mikey's shell, causing him to yell out in pain. Tigerclaw saw it in his hand and reached down for it. "Give it to me. Now!" He shouted while squeezing Mikey's hand and forcing him to drop it.
When he did Tigerclaw picked it up only to see a mini pizza. "What?!"
"Ooh, the ol' switcheroo, brah! Sorry, T.C. Personal pocket pizza for ya?" Mikey winked up at Tigerclaw with a smile.
"Where is the Seal?" Tigerclaw glared while looking back to where they came from.
-With the Others-
"Now that we got it, how do we make this thing work?" Raph asked, staring down at it as he tried to figure out how it worked.
"The Seal! Liberation!" Kavaxas yelled with a grin as he threw Karai down and went for Raph.
"April!" Raph shouted as he threw it into the air as hard as he can. Kavaxas spun around and went straight for it. April used her powers to keep it away from him as he flew after it.
Leo and Donnie were reaching Vizioso's room when they took down two guards guarding the hall.
"Remember, Donnie, keep it together. We're after the heart, not revenge." The door right next to Leo opened up and Leo slammed his fist into the goons face before grabbing it's gun and kicking it back in the room.
"In the spirit of multitasking, I'd like to think we have time for both."
Another goon was sneaking up on the two but before any of them could react, Dragan's shield went flying past Donnie's face and smacked right into the goon, knocking him out cold. Dragan calmly walked past them and picked it up. "Really?" She looked to Donnie with a raised brow and smile.
Leo walked past Donnie, narrowing his eyes at him and ran with Dragan to Vizioso's room. Donnie looked away, glaring down at the floor before following after them.
-With Mikey-
Tigerclaw was mercilessly beating Mikey when he threw them to the surface of the train. "Your ride ends here, turtle." Tigerclaw said as he raised his sword at him.
"Ugh, maybe you're right." Mikey groaned, hanging onto the edge of the train before letting go.
He crashed into a pile of trash hard and landed on his side before rolling on to his back. Mikey's eyes were beginning to grow heavy as he groaned in pain. He heard the sound of clicking but he was too out of it to concentrate. Through blinking eyes he saw long, auburn hair, and bright aquamarine eyes staring down at him with worry.
The last thing he heard was, "Are you ok, little one?" before he passed out.
-With the others-
April continued to keep the Seal away from Kavaxas. He snapped his head in April's direction, glaring darkly. "I grow tired of these games, Arrogant Child!" He said just before he used his fire breath on her.
Karai ran to April and pushed her out of the way before she could get hurt, but ended up losing concentration.
The Seal floated in mid-air for a milisecond before it came falling down towards the ground.
Raph, Kavaxas, and Karai turned to look at it.
"I got it!" Karai shouted as she used the signs from the hotel to run towards the Seal. Just as Kavaxas and Karai reached out for it, Raph tackled Kavaxas away, leaving Karai to catch it and land onto a car, throwing the Seal to April. "Now would be a good time to make that thing work."
April squeezed her eyes shut as she tried to figure out how to use it. "Come on. Come on. I command you!"
Kavaxas chuckled darkly, grabbing Raph by his head. "You have more power than these mutants." Karai charged at Kavaxas but used Raph to smack her away then threw Raph into the train rail. "But you don't have the knowledge, child." He laughed darkly as he stalked towards her.
"Brain with unique power."He continued laughing as she tried to force him back with her powers but they did nothing to him. "I will not merely destroy you. I'll swallow your soul!" He smirked down at her, his eyes glowing yellow as he raised his claws up and spread his wings out.
He blinked when he saw smoke form around her.
"Swallow this." Sara said, appearing out of thin air.
"You again!" He yelled as a large pipe was suddenly shoved into his mouth and he was kicked back away from April. Raph ran towards April and picked her up, moving away from them.
"Sara? What're you doing here?" Raph asked, looking at her.
"Kara told me you'd need assistance so I came. She seemed pretty upset...what did you do to her?" She asked, low and angry as she turned to him with glowing eyes, making him freeze. "It wasn't me!"
Kavaxas bit down in the pipe, breaking it, and spat out the piece still in his mouth before letting out his fire breath in anger. "You again!" He growled staring right at Sara, who glanced back at him, smiling. "Miss me?"
Dragan, Leo, and Donnie burst through the door, kicking Vizioso's goons down as well as they pointed their weapons at them.
The twins brought out their knives and smirked as they all charged at each other.
Sara took the Seal and flew away from Kavaxas, forcing him after her to try and keep the others out of harms way. "Give me the Seal!" He roared as he flew straight towards her. She glanced down at the seal then to Kavaxas before throwing it towards Raph just as Kavaxas flew through her.
She began to fly towards Raph as he reached out to grab it but Kavaxas turned and fired his dragon's breath at Raph.
Sara's eyes widened as Raph was hit and she sent a cloud of smoke to catch him before he could fall, the Seal dropping to the ground. Sara flew towards Raph to make sure he was ok.
"Raph? Raph, are you ok?"
With a groan, he turned over and gave her a thumbs up. Sara stood up, helping him to his feet and went to aid April unaware of Tigerclaw retreiving the Seal.
Karai jumped onto Kavaxas' back, stopping him from hurting April but was thrown into a wall.
Kavaxas turned towards Karai and raised his hand to end her life.
"Enough of these games! Retrieve the heart at once, Kavaxas. Now!" Tigerclaw demanded, holding the Seal out in front of him.
Kavaxas glared at him, but did as he was told, both of them flying away.
"That's not good.." Karai said as she walked towards Sara and Raph.
"Raph! Mikey sent a text. He's hurt pretty bad." April shouted urgently.
Sara's eyes widened some and she turned to them. "Grab a hold of me. I'll take you to Mikey."
"I'll stay and wait for Leo and the others." Karai said. Sara nodded and flew off with April and Raph holding on to each of her arms.
Donnie and Leo were taking care of the twins when Dragan began walking towards Vizioso to take the heart. Donnie noticed this and shoved the twin he was fighting to her. She blinked in surprise when he jumped on her back with his knife raised. "What the?!" She threw herself backwards against the wall, smacking the twin between her and the wall, and threw him over her shoulder, sending a punch across his face. "Donnie! What gi-" She gasped softly seeing him throw Vizioso against the wall with his spear end pointed at him.
"This is the end for you, Vizioso!"
"Donnie, don't lose sight of who you are!" Leo shouted as he was fighting off the last twin.
"You're not one o' them, D! You're better than this!"
"This is the end." Donnie said, his voice low in anger. Donnie noticed his reflection in the blade and gasped softly. This. This wasn't him. He squeezed his eyes shut and shook his head. "Because we're..taking the heart and you're going to jail!" He dropped Vizioso to the ground and took the heart from him, tossing it to Leo.
"Nice job, D." Leo smiled at him while Dragan went over and hugged him. "I knew ye were better than that."
Donnie smiled down at her then over to Leo when the wall closest to them exploded, throwing them all to the ground.
Kavaxas and Tigerclaw entered the room, Kavaxas picking the heart from off the ground.
"And what of the turtles?"
Kavaxas stared down at them, a smirk crossing his lips as he raised his hand.
Dragan groaned, lifting herself off the ground as she pulled her shield close to her, moving in front of the guys. With a yell, she stood her ground as Kavaxas made the whole room explode in fire, all three of them flying out into the street, slamming into random objects. Dragan was thrown into a car and slumped to the ground, unconscious.
"So much anger, power, strength!" Kavaxas smiled down at the heart, running his claw over it.
"You will give the heart to me, Kavaxas." Tigerclaw narrowed his eyes at him.
Kavaxas stared at him a moment before dropping the heart into his hand and giving him a small, fake bow.
"We have what we came for. Let us go."
A bystander stood in the shadows, eyes wide seeing the dragon fly off with the tiger. "Kavaxas.." They whispered as they stared down at the mutant turtles and unconscious girl in the street. They closed their eyes and left the scene, pulling out their phone in the process.
"Atleast Vizioso and his goons are finished." Karai said as she and the others watched them get arrested.
"We should go.." Leo said as he held an unconscious Dragan in his arms.
"Guys!" April shouted as she and the others landed in front of them, Sara holding a now waking Mikey.
"We found him unconscious but there's nothing wrong with him. Other than feeling cold he looks like his old self." Sara said rather confused.
"Are you ok?" Leo asked Mikey. "I barely made it out by the skin of my shell, dudes. But I heard this lady talk to me and when I woke up..I felt fine. Like, an angel healed me!"
"Come on, we need to get Dragan back to the lair, pronto." Leo said, looking down at her.
"She'll be ok, Leo. I promise." Sara said as she took him from her and flew to the lair as fast as she could, with the others not too far behind her.
"What do we do? Can they really bring back Shredder?" Karai asked as they all ran.
"We don't stop fighting, Karai. We take them all down. Tigerclaw, Kavaxas, all of them." Leo said, staring ahead with narrowed eyes.
-At the lair-
Dragan was now patched up and waking up. She looked around at the familiar surroundings and turned her head to see everyone but Donnie and Kara smiling at her.
"Hey, Dragan." Leo smiled softly, gently stroking her hand with his thumb.
"Hey, did we make it? Did we win?"
When everyone looked at each other she closed her eyes, knowing the answer. "We can't give up hope, guys. We defeated Shredder once an we can do it again." She said, clenching her fist.
Leo nodded and bent over kissing her on the lips. "Together."
Dragan smiled at him, returning the kiss. "So, I'm guessing Donnie went tae go apologize?" She said with a chuckle.
"Of course." Sara said to her, crossing her arms with a grin.
Mikey blinked, hearing his phone go off and looked down to see he had a message from someone called "A friend." He raised a brow but read the message, telling him to meet them at this location and that they could help them with their dragon problem but to come alone.
Mikey looked at everyone making sure no one was watching him as he snuck out the lair, ninja stealth mode on, and ran to the where it was said to meet.
He snuck through the empty warehouse looking building and half expected it to look worn down and abandoned but blinked when it not only looked good as new, but looked like a nightclub.
He turned his head to see a light through the cracks of a door on the second floor and leaped past the stairs, landing in front of the door. When he opened it he saw a woman with auburn brown hair, hazelnut brown skin sitting at a desk writing something down.
"Oh, you arrived earlier than expected. Please, have a seat." She offered, without looking up, having a fluent Spanish accent.
Mikey blinked but said nothing as he walked over to the desk and sat down in front of her. He tilted his head seeming to recognize the hair color. "Do I know you?" He asked curiously.
"No, and I don't know you, but you and your friends seem to be in quite a pickle."
"How do you know?" He asked in surprise.
"Because, my good friend, that problem is also one of mine. Now, tell me little one, who summoned the terrible Kavaxas into our world?" She asked, placing her chin against her hands, staring at Mikey with icy blue, dragon eyes.
All Mikey could do was stare in shock.
