Alrighty. I searched and searched but I couldn't find any sites that could help me write a Romanian (or Transylvanian) accent. I saw a yahoo answer post that sort of helped me but with very little, one of the things being NOT switching the 'w' with a 'v' so I'm not doing that. If anyone knows of anything please let me know, it would be a great help. For now, I've done the best I could. Here you go. Enjoy~
The door opened and one by one everyone fell through the opening, making a splash as they landed in water. Kara immediately jumped to her feet looking at her now soaked self, her clothes clinging to her body. "Oh no! My stockings!" She felt her sandals digging into the muddy floor and tried to keep herself from getting stuck. "These are my favorite shoes too.." She pouted while Dragan hugged the tree having been lucky enough to land on it, Leo right next to her, not wanting to know what wet leather felt like.
"Dumped in a swamp in the middle of nowhere? Thanks a lot, Renet." Raph looked at her after she picked herself off him, having landed on him.
"Sorry, Turtle Warriors. I should've set the Time Scepter for drier ground."
"Doesn't look like there's much land around here.." Kara noted taking in their dark surroundings.
"Has anyone seen Mikey?" Donnie looked around til he spotted him swimming backwards in the swamp water without a care in the world. "I'm kinda into the swampiness, dudes. We're turtles! Feels like home."
"Where and when the heck are we, Renet?" Leo asked.
"We're in..Transylvania! In the year thirteen hundred! Isn't it super cold?"
"You mean "cool" and no-"
"What do you think, Renet?! You said the monsters are real! Well, guess what! The worst of the worst are all located in this place!" Kara grabbed Renet's shoulders and started shaking her til Donnie pulled her away to calm her down, following after her.
Leo climbed down the tree and helped Dragan down too, holding her hands and giving them a gentle stroke with his thumb. Dragan let out a shudder able to feel the cold of the water through the outfit, the water reaching to her thighs but dredged after the others.
Raph went to follow but stopped when Mikey popped out of nowhere right next to him, giving him a start. "Transylvania? Isn't that next to New York?
"That's Pennsylvania, dummy!" Raph shook his head and went to catch up with the others. Mikey went to follow but stopped when he heard wolves howling and made a nervous whimper before running to catch up.
Once they were on dry land Kara immediately began taking off her shoes and stockings, holding her shoes under her armpit and squeezing the water out of her stockings. Donnie glanced at her and his face almost shined in the bleak atmosphere seeing Kara with so much exposed skin. He quickly looked away when she looked his way and tried to act cool. She gave him a smile then focused on Renet when she began to speak.
"Ok, before we go anywhere and hunt down Savanti, we better try and blend it a little."
"I think Dragan looks the part already." Kara crossed her arms, grinning at Dragan. Dragan rubbed the back of her head, blushing softly when all eyes were on her. "Hey, she's one o ma favorite heroes, alright?"
Renet took off her helmet, lowering her hood to reveal blonde hair tied in a braid and wrapped around her head. She let out a sigh feeling to cool air hit her bare head. Mikey walked out of the swamp, smacking the side of his head to get the water out of his ears when he saw Renet remove the hood. Time slowed down and he saw sparkles gather around her and instantly fell over, his legs giving way, til he suddenly pulled up in front of her giving her a raised brow and large smile. "Heey~" He said puckering his lips together in a smooch.
"Mikey!" Raph grabbed the ends of his mask and pulled him away from the giggling Renet. The girls had to give it to him for his straightforwardness which didn't stop them from snickering at him.
"Hmm. You guys better blend in too and look the part as wicked, grokkin' monster slayers! Woo!" Renet raised her scepter, the hourglass glowing bright til every one of them were in outfits.
The guys wore large trench coats that reached their ankles and hats, each turtle sporting a different accessory to hunt monsters; Leo with a crossbow equippied with wooden stakes and an amulet, Mikey with a mini crossbow and different items around his neck to ward off evil, Donnie with a trinket at the end of his staff.
"Awesome! Aw, this so rad! I feel like Van Helsing, but way cooler than him, actually way more rad than Van Helsing." Leo rubbed his crossbow as if this were all a dream.
Raph let out a small laugh, digging the new gear.
Mikey smiled at his weapon. "Whoa, check it out!" He accidentally fired it off, hitting Raph who yelped in pain before running at Mikey, screaming his name.
"Ooh, likin' the hats." Donnie rubbed his index finger and thumb over the rim. "Donatello, your staff has a mystical seal of protection."
Kara wore a button-up black hooded vest, a choker and a small cross necklace, black, skin tight pants with a belt that a device similar to her pepper-spray, but it was see through with water inside, was clipped to, two wooden spikes holstered to her thighs, and black ankle boots. She looked over herself and smiled, the hood already over her head and grinned. "This is more like it but what is this?" Kara pulled out the device, noting she was still wearing her gloves, and looked it over.
"Oh, that's holy water." Renet said smiling. "Cooool." Kara said in awe, spinning it in her hand before putting it back in it's holster. Donnie walked over to her and smiled seeing she seemed more comfortable in what she was wearing and grabbed her hand, twirling her around. "You look as beautiful as ever, Kara." He pulled her close making her giggle and she wrapped her arms around his neck. "And you look absolutely dashing, Donnie." She popped his hat off his head and placed it on top of hers making him chuckle and chase her around.
Dragan had on a white tunic with with red, decorative designs over the chest area, a black corset with silver buttons, a blood red velvet cropped jacket with fluted sleeves and gold embezzled designs, thin, tight black trousers, and thigh high heeled boots. She stared at herself in awe when she noticed a scabbard hanging from her hip, attached to her belt. She pulled out a Medieval Needle sword and inspected it, twisting it as the blade shined in the moonlight. It was lighter than what she was use to but she could manage and sheathed it.
"Woah! Dragan! You look awesome!" Kara shouted, everyone looking at her and their jaws dropping, specially Leo's. Dragan went to rub the back of her head when she felt a braid. Curious, she went over to the water to look at herself and saw her bangs were pulled back out of her face and braided. She touched her face in surprise and smiled never having actually had her hair out of her face before. "That look suits you, Dre." Kara smiled seeing her look of surprise and patted her shoulder.
Leo walked over to her and let out a small gasp when the moonlight hit her, he made a mental note to never forget this moment for she proved him wrong in thinking she couldn't be any more beautiful. He reached a hand to her face and gave her cheek a gentle stroke. She blushed softly, looking away shyly then back at him and smiled more.
"Ok, everyone," Renet walked over to them all seeing they were enjoying their new gear and turned on serious Renet,"You'll need these weapons because we have to find the next monster before Savanti Romero does. And that monster is none other than Dracula; Lord of the Vampires!"
Kara's eyes widened as the others gasped and all stared at Renet. Despite the evidence of her friends being turned it was hard for her to believe that not only will they be searching for Dracula, but fighting him as well. She hugged herself when suddenly they heard cries for help. Everyone looked at each other before running off to find the source.
When they arrived they saw a knight surrounded by wolves. One wolf pounced towards the knight but Kara ran at it and football tackled it with her shoulder, standing protectively in front of the knight.
"It is werewolves!' The knight screamed before fleeing for his life as they all gathered in a circle.
"That's the second time I've seen a knight run from danger. Good thing you're not like that, Dre." With a swish, Kara's blades were out and she got into a fighting stance.
"Believe me, not aw knights are like that. Only those wi weak morals an hearts would run." Dragan had her sword out staring at the wolves stalking towards them.
"Renet, can't you use the scepter to levitate us or something?"
"It's running low on power, Leo, I have to conserve."
"Find another way!" Kara reminded him before they all scattered as the wolves pounced to attack.
Leo jumped onto the cliff and back-flip kicked the wolf after him.
Mikey screamed as he tried to keep the wolf from biting his whole head off when he moved his feet under and kicked it over him, the wolf landing under a tree. While it shook off the pain, Mikey shot one of his arrows at a tree limb and it broke off, landing right on top of the wolf. Take that, Wolfie!"
Dragan brought out her sword and glared at the wolf that circled her, her heels clicking against the stone ground. It barked and charged at her, jumping in the air for a frontal strike but she held up her sword, it's teeth locking over it and she threw it down with a yell and stabbed it into it's neck. It let out a whimper before closing its eyes; dead.
Donnie pulled his staff out of the wolves mouth and spun it around to force it back then jumped on it, pushing off just as another wolf pounced to attack, jumping over it. Kara kicked the wolf after Donnie and punched it into the ground, knocking it out. She blinked when she heard Raph scream and saw him being chased by two wolves and jumped onto the cliff to aid him.
When she finally reached him not only were the wolves gone, but Raph laid on the ground, passed out. "Raph! Raph, are you ok?!" She slid to his side and checked for any marks or wounds but saw nothing out of the ordinary, not even scratches on his coat. She began to worry for him and picked him up, placing him on her back. "Don't worry buddy, we'll get you taken care of." She looked towards the sky to see the sun was out and felt relief in her chest knowing there wouldn't be any danger for them during this time.
She began making her way back to the others when they met her halfway. "Guys!" She heard groaning behind her and saw Raph coming to.
"What happened to you, bro?" Donnie asked as he and Leo took him from Kara.
"I don't know. I feel woozy."
"Come on, team. We gotta find Dracula before Savanti does. And stake him through the heart."
"We should find a place tae let Raph rest. He doesn't look too good, Leo." Dragan looked from him to Raph worry etched on her face as he continued to groan. "We shouldn't move him around so much."
"I'll be fine." Raph mumbled while moving to stand on his own. The girls watched him then looked at each other in worry but didn't say anything, making their way to town.
They reached town by mid-day though it was hard to tell due to the thickness of the fog blocking out the sunlight. When they stopped there wasn't a single person in sight, in fact,
"What happened here? The whole village is..abandoned."
"You don't think we're too late, do you?" Kara asked growing nervous.
Hearing the sound of a horses whinny the looked over to their right to see a horse drawn carriage making it's way towards them, stopping right in front of Mikey, the horses lifting up on their hind legs causing him to shout and fall on his butt.
The carriage was in front of Leo, Renet, Dragan, and Raph when the person inside began to speak; "My friends, do not remain here. Zis town was consumed by the plague. I recommend going East."
Kara noted how with his accent it seemed as if he was sounding out every letter, his tongue rolling with certain words with the letter 'r' in them but despite that his English was clear and understandable. She blinked when she heard Raph whisper under his breath and placed her hand on his shoulder, wondering if he was ok.
"Thank you, sir, but we're going west; to Dracula's castle."
"Do not be foolish, child. That way lies death."
Dragan squinted her eyes thinking she saw the familiar glowing eyes but looked over at Raph as he muttered something about going west. She turned around to face him and blinked when he began to walk away. "Raph, what's wrong?"
"N-Not feeling so-" Raph dropped to his hands and knees, vomitting on the ground.
"Raph!" Both girls were at his side, Kara rubbing his back while Dragan used her shirt sleeve to wipe the vomit off his mouth. "You're not lookin' too good, buddy."
"He's sick." Renet said softly, looking over him.
"Ya think?" His voice was hoarse and cracked. Kara removed his hand and placed her hand on his forehead. "He's burning up. We need to get him to shelter, somewhere he can rest."
"It's weird, my scepter can't diagnose him, but it says someone's nearby; someone who emanates kindness and compassion. Maybe they can help."
Deciding not to let him walk on his own, Dragan carried him on her back, Renet leading them towards, hopefully, some help. Raph buried his face in the crook of her neck, closing his eyes to take a rest. Kara walked beside them, gently rubbing his back again. "Poor guy. I wonder what's causing him this sickness."
"It's hard tae tell. Transylvania is plagued wi many different creatures an magic. This place is like a magnet tae the dark arts an monsters o' the night."
"Well, when you say it like that makes me wonder why anyone stays here." Kara crossed her arms over her chest, staring down at the ground in thought.
"Some people may not hae a choice. Tae them, it's home."
Kara sighed softly but lifted her head some when they spotted a caravan and two people sitting around a fire looking as if they were making food. When their group stepped forward the man jumped to his feet upon seeing the guys and held his knife out defensively. "Wha-what monsters are these?!"
"Great disguises, Renet, we blend right in."
"You did when it was dark out." Kara grinned at Leo.
"Please, sir, put away your blade. These are friendly goblins from the far realms. They are my guardians. And these two are my friends who are professional bounty hunters." Dragan and Kara stepped forward, Kara removing her hood and smiled at them. When Dragan came into view the woman's eyes fell on Raph, who slowly opened his eyes, groaning weakly, his skin growing pale. The woman stepped forward, the man calling out her name; Esmeralda, but she ignored him, stopping in front of Dragan and Raph, placing her hand to his forehead
"Poor, adorable creature. Father, zis one is not well." Esmeralda turned to her father in worry.
"We must take care of ourselves first, Esmeralda."
Kara noted they had a similar accent to that of the man in the carriage, but their accents sounded more heavy yet still understandable.
Will this help you, kind sir?" Renet asked, holding up four golden coins to the man.
"So much gold! I zank you, strangers. My name is Vulko and this is my daughter, Esmeralda. We are travelers looking for uork."
"I am Renet. This is Kara and Dragan and these are my ninja tur-err, goblins! They're goblins."
Her response got a laugh out of Vulko and he gave her back a friendly slap. "Come, my neu friends. Let us hurry. We must reach our village before nightfall.
"Wow. What is that gadget, Renet?" Donnie walked up to her, staring at it curiously.
"It's a Chronus Wallet; it can produce money from any time period."
"Whoa! Future tech is so rad!"
Kara and Mikey were sitting in the front with Vulko while the others stayed inside the caravan with Esmeralda and Raph.
"We must all be uary. Transylvania has become very dangerous over the years. A great evil has come upon zis land."
Kara stared at him, having been leaning forward some with her head in her hand and arm on her lap. She closed her eyes knowing exactly who he was talking about.
Inside the caravan Esmeralda looked over Raph, the others watching her nervously.
"His paleness, his eyes, the marks on his neck! He's been bitten by the evil one!"
"WHAT?!" Everyone shouted, looking down at Raph.
Kara clenched her fists wondering how she could of overlooked that.
"He turns into a vampire? The sun is soon to set!" Vulko turned his head to them
"Is there anything we can do, Vulko?" Leo asked.
"He's our brother." Donnie said softly.
"An a good friend."
"Perhaps, but first and foremost, he must not bite anyone; or he will become a full vampire!"
"Oh, snap!"
"I'm sorry guys, I should of checked when he was down the first time. I never thought Dracula would come to us first." Kara turned around, worried eyes on Raph.
"It's not your fault, Kara. We were fightin' wolves one moment. It's as ye said, who knew Dracula would show up this early in the fight."
"Talk about a double creature feature." Kara muttered, turning back around leaning her head against her hand again.
The skies darkened the sun making way for the full moon.
"Alright, we roll in and stake Dracula. Let's just hope Savanti hasn't made it there yet."
"We're gonna lose Raph if this keeps up. Can't you take us back in time to before he was bitten?" Donnie asked, Leo, him, and Renet outside the caravan with Kara, Dragan, and Mikey watching over Raph now.
"There's only one time travel charge left on the scepter. We need it to get us all home to the future."
Donnie sighed and sat back down when he noticed a purple glowing necklace at Vulko's chest. "My necklace of uolfsbane keeps both vampires and uerewolves away from me."
Mikey poked his head through the window, peeking at them. "Do you got another one of those for me?"
"No."
Mikey groaned and slid back under the window, plopping back down. Dragan chuckled at him before turning back to stare at the moon. Kara was in the back of the caravan, her back against the side, her right arm dangling over her right leg that was pulled up to her chest, her head down with her eyes closed to get some rest. The caravan jerked, waking her up some and she let out a yawn before closing her eyes to go back to sleep til they shot open when Raph's figure was sitting right up. She turned forward, moving to stand and when she saw him going for Mikey she hugged him from behind, locking his arms over his head and pulled him backwards.
Mikey turned around to see Raph looking like a vampire, staring at him, and let out a scream which brought everyone to attention. Kara was struggling to keep Raph in her hold when Esmeralda placed a necklace of garlic over his head and he immediately went limp. She stared at him a moment before slowly loosening her hold on him.
"The neophyte vampire is not fully a vampire yet!" Esmeralda explained.
"He's like a vampirette?"
"The garlic will keep him docile, for now."
"How long will it hold?"
"As long as you keep it around his neck. Never take it off."
"Noted." Kara nodded and sat back down.
"Thanks for the save, Kara." Mikey smiled which she returned and went to look out the window. Her eyes widened when she saw a horse drawn carriage coming right behind them, the horse's eyes, mouths, and noses lit up with blue flames, and the man driving it had a pumpkin for a head that also had blue flames coming out of its eyes, nose, and mouth.
"Are you kidding me?! Even he is here!?" Kara shouted, jumping to her feet.
"Who?"
Kara kicked the back doors open, bringing her blades out. "The Headless Horseman!" Everyone turned around the see the carriage gaining on them with the rider, in fact, being the Headless Horseman. Everyone shouted and Vulko cracked the reigns to have the horses go faster.
The Headless Horseman stood to his feet and grabbed the sides of his head, pulling it off his shoulders and threw the pumpkin head at them, the jack-o'-lantern laughing as it flew. Kara narrowed her eyes, expecting this, and lifted her leg up moving to kick it back but when her foot made contact with it, the pumpkin exploded, sending her flying and slamming to the front and shaking the caravan with enough force to cause it to fall on it's side towards the edge of the path.
When it stopped, Leo pulled open the doors helping Mikey, Renet, Esmeralda, and Dragan out. "Is everyone ok?"
"Agh, my bruises have bruises." Donnie muttered, going limp on the side of the caravan. "Wait, what about Kara?"
Kara slowly sat herself up and winced, holding her leg. Luckily it was just a pumpkin so her foot wasn't damaged or broken, just messy from the pumpkin goo. She slowly stood up when she noticed the garlic necklace about to fall off Raph and immediately adjusted. She let out a sigh of relief when Dragan poked her head up and reached in to pull her out.
"Where..where is my father?" Esmeralda questioned worriedly.
"Hey, he's gone."
"Look!" Leo ran up to something and picked up Vulko's necklace. "His wolfsbane."
Hearing the howling of the wolves, Donnie glanced up and saw them walking off. "Look! The wolves must have carried him off."
"Oh no. Father." Esmeralda clutched the necklace to her chest, tears coming to her eyes.
Kara gently placed her foot on solid ground and glanced up to see their destination. "There's Dracula's castle. We're getting close."
Crossing the bridge on foot, Dracula's castle grew closer as they drew near. Mikey carried Raph this time worried for Dragan. A pack of bats flew at him causing him to scream and fall backwards.
"The tracks curve back to another part of the castle." Leo said as they came upon a black carriage. Kara walked up to it, it seeming familiar when her eyes widened. "Guys, this is the same carriage from when we first entered town!"
"You're not sayin' the guy that tried tae get us tae go East..was Dracula?!"
"That's exactly what I'm saying, and we didn't even know it!" Kara glared down at the ground, feeling irritated that he appeared to them twice without them knowing.
Leo and the others surrounded it while he looked inside to make sure it was empty. When confirmed he nodded to the others til the carriage jerked, hearing something heavy drop on it, and looked up to see the werewolf from before growling at them.
"A werewolf?!" Kara shrieked as they all scattered away, the thing trying to bite at them.
"Oh yeah, you weren't there for him." Donnie pointed out. While the werewolf chased Renet, Donnie and Leo climbed the castle wall, bringing down a chain. When the werewolf was close enough they wrapped the chain around him and pulled to hold him in place.
Dragan walked up to it, bringing her sword out and aimed for his heart. When she went to strike Esmeralda stood in her path, spreading her arms out. Dragan's eyes widened and she stopped, her sword mere inches from her chest. "Don't hurt him, please! That uerewolf it's...it's.."
"It's your father, isn't it?" Dragan's eyes went from her to the werewolf and she slowly lowered her sword.
"If you knew why didn't you tell us?" Kara shouted, walking up to her.
"Because you uould of surely killed him!" Esmeralda tried to shout back but her voice cracked, tears running down her face. "It isn't his fault. He does not know what he is doing. Please, he is all that I have left." Esmeralda buried her face in her hands, crying softly.
Kara lowered her shoulders and looked to the ground, sighing.
Mikey slid over the side of the carriage next to Renet. "I need a silver coin from your wallet, Renet. Quick!"
"No problemo, daddy-o!" She rummaged through her future wallet and flicked a silver coin in the air. "Take your silver chill pill!" Mikey swatted the coin at them using the crossbow and it landed right in the werewolves mouth, forcing it to swallow it.
The werewolf began to change ever so slowly but soon, Vulko was back to his old self. Esmeralda ran to her father as he fell to his knees and held him tight.
"Wh-where am I?" Vulko seemed out of it but no one could really blame him.
"Oh, thank you, my friends. You are very wise, Michelangelo. Silver can harm a uerewolf or cure one."
"That's right! According to ancient lore and the movie I saw. Booyakasha-na-na-na-nah!" Suddenly the carriage doors opened and a swarm of bats flew out and at Esmeralda. She tried to swat them away but they pulled her towards the castle entrance and the bats gathered together, revealing Dracula. "Gud evening, my dear." His smirked turned into a wide smile, showing off his fangs.
"Man, I hope this symbol of protection thing is good for something!" Donnie held up his staff showing the trinket but nothing happened.
"You have to have faith for that to uork on me, goblin!" He smirked down at Esmeralda and tilted her head to the side, his vampire form appearing; pale, white skin, shrunken glowing eyes, and even larger canines. He brought his head down to her neck but Kara was already in front of him and punched him across the face. He stumbled backwards, holding his face while Kara pulled Esmeralda away and into her father's arms. While he was distracted she pulled a stake from her thigh, spun it in her hand and went for the kill but was surprised when Raph appeared out of nowhere grabbing the stake from her hands and back handing her. She fell down the stairs, landing at everyone's feet.
Dragan gasped and looked up at Raph with his head down but it slowly lifted, his eyes opening and staring at them, having the same glowing eyes as April and the others. Raph smirked, showing his fangs and crushed the stake in his hands before both he and Dracula changed into their bat form and fled into the castle.
"Raphael!" Leo shouted, he and the others running into the castle. Donnie made sure Kara was ok before both of them followed the others.
Searching the castle with no one in sight the last place to look was under the castle.
"He must be downstairs in the crypt!"
"Um, crypt?"
"It's somethin' similar to a morgue, Mikey."
Kara clenched her first growing nervous with each step but she had to stay focused. She placed her hoodie over her head and took a deep breath, bringing out the Blind Bandit.
Once they made it down the last step, candles that were scattered throughout the room suddenly lit up, bringing light into the room. The gang walked further into the room but Kara stopped and turned around just as Savanti had entered the room.
"So glad you could join us." He smirked down at them with his arms crossed.
"Savanti. Give it up. Your plan is never gonna work! It's over, finished!"
"Finished, am I? Indeed I am, almost finished with my preparations to destroy the future as you know it! Meet my allies!" Savanti spread his arms out when Dracula and Raph flew in beside him in a cloud of smoke, revealing themselves. Then the Pharaoh came forward and held out his staff, slamming to the ground creating a forceful wave that sent the gang scattered, leaving Renet alone.
Kara, Esmeralda, and Vulko were thrown into one room. Mikey, Dragan, Leo, and Donnie were tossed into another. When they all came to they realized they were in the rooms where the dead were kept.
Dragan, Leo, and Donnie stood just as Raph and Dracula appeared before them.
"Give me Michelangelo. I vant to suck his blood!" Raph grinned sinisterly.
"No one's sucking me, no way, no how!" Mikey shook his head but blinked when Dragan stood in front of him sword drawn and eyes narrowed.
"Or..better yet." Raph tilted his head, eyes now on Dragan. She clenched her sword tightly, keeping her mouth closed.
Dracula glanced around the room seeing Kara was nowhere in sight. "The one who punched me is not here. No matter, I will have the Pharaoh keep her unharmed. Her punishment will be with my hands." Raph looked up at Dracula waiting for his orders but he held his hand up, floating in the air. "As for you, you tried to destroy me, green demons! Now you will suffer!" He hissed, changing to his vampire form and flew at them.
Leo fired his crossbow but Dracula evaded his attacks and grabbed him by the neck, pushing him against one of the coffins. He opened his mouth wide to bite but Mikey came up behind him, shooting his mini crossbow only for Dracula to change into a bat and fly away reappearing behind him. He hissed down at Mikey before back handing him away from the group.
Hearing Mikey scream, Dragan turned around to see him running away. Her eyes widened when she saw Raph was nowhere in sight and ran after him. Mikey clumsily bumped into each corner of the corridor he ran through when he glanced behind him seeing Raph right on his tail, making him scream louder. He skidded to a halt when he came to a ledge and turned around to see Raph ready to pounce. He let out another yell, covering his arms over his head but when nothing happened he moved them away to see Dragan holding Raph by the foot and throw him into the wall. She stepped between them with her sword out. "Mikey, I'll distract him while ye run back tae the others!" Before he could get a chance to protest Dragan charged at Raph with a battlecry.
Raph stood to his feet, turning his head to look at her, and when she got close he changed into a bat and flew around her but she grabbed him by his wing, slamming him to the ground. He changed back letting out a painful yell and punched her across the face, sending her stumbling backwards, covering her mouth where a trickle of blood was spilt but she ignored it, panting heavily. He stood to his feet and jumped on her, hissing loudly as he tried to go for the blood. She yelled and grunted as she thrashed their bodies back and forth against the two walls, keeping her eyes only on Raph. "Nnngh, go, now, Mikey!" She shouted while throwing him off and raising her sword to strike. Raph grabbed her wrist though and twisted it in a painful way forcing her to drop it and moved around her ready to bite her but she stomped her heeled boot on his foot making him scream out him pain and she jabbed her elbow into his nose before throwing him over her and onto the ground.
Mikey whimpered softly, watching his friend fight off his brother. He clenched his fist and squeezed his eyes shut before doing as she said and running away. Raph saw him leave and yelled out in anger, shoving her off of him and towards the edge of the corridor, and picked himself up to go after him. Dragan jumped to her feet and reached out for him. "No ya don't!" She grabbed his hand and pulled him towards her which ended up having him spin around, facing her. The momentum of the pull brought him close to her and that slight push sent her leaning backwards to the pit that was behind her. When she felt her heel leave the solid ground she felt a pain in her neck, Raph squeezing his arms tight around her to make sure she couldn't escape as he began to drink her blood, both of them falling into the pit of coffins and bones.
When they fell, she landed on the wooden coffins, the impact knocking her out. Once he was finished, he sat up, licking his fangs clean of her blood, chuckling darkly.
Kara, Esmeralda, and Vulko were huddled together behind a coffin trying to hide from the Pharaoh. Kara found some pebbles and picked a few up while closing her eyes. When the Pharaoh was at the coffin they were behind, leaning over to look, she tossed the pebbles in a different direction, it making a noise and getting his attention. When he was out of sight they all sighed in relief and Kara went to move first to get back to the others when Vulko was torn from his daughters hands by an unseen force and brought to the Pharaoh.
Esmeralda and Kara ran out of cover to get him when the Pharaoh pointed his staff at them, sending a shockwave at them but Kara rolled out of the way, the attack throwing Esmeralda into a pillar and knocking her out. Kara turned and glared at the mummy but slid to a halt when it shoved it's whole arm down Vulko's throat. Kara cringed in disgust, staring in horror til she realized what it was doing. "No..No!" She ran at the mummy, arm raised to attack when it dropped Vulko. The Pharaoh lifted his head to look at her and grinned holding the silver coin in his hand before turning and walking away.
She took a step to go after it but froze when she heard Vulko beginning to transform.
"Father!" Esmeralda shouted but Kara turned to her, throwing her arm to the side. "Run, get out of here, now!" She screamed at her and turned back to the now formed werewolf. Esmeralda did as she was told and fled. The werewolf watched her with it's eyes and went to chase her when Kara stood in his way, blades out. "Your opponent is me, werewolf!" She yelled, the werewolf roaring in her face in response, raising his arm to strike.
His moves were erratic and unpredictable so she was forced to evade and dodge for the time being. Not only did she have to watch for his clawed feet and hands, but his massive sharp teeth as well. He reached down, opening his mouth wide but she stepped to the side and slammed her knee into his chin, forcing his mouth to snap shut then she punched him across the face, her blade slashing where his eye was. He stood up straight, holding his eye while howling in pain. She blinked in confusion, seeing steam rise from the wound and stared down at her blades, getting a close look. Her eyes widened when she realized the sharp end was tinted a different color, having been dipped in silver. A smirk crossed her face and she stepped towards the beast and charged.
The werewolf roared and went to strike but she rolled to the side and punched his arm, the blade slicing it and creating a large gash making him howl again and step backwards but she was already on him again, sending a kick across the face and crossed her arms over each other, cutting a large X over his chest.
The beast cried out in pain, falling to his side. She stepped up to it, her eyes saddened knowing she was hurting a friend but she had to do something. When she raised her hand to strike down it jumped at her, shoving her into a pillar using it's whole body and fled. She let out an airless gasp, the air being knocked out of her and she slumped to the ground, coughing.
She stood to her feet regardless of the pain and made her way back to the top of the crypt, holding her stomach. When she reached the top she froze seeing an unconscious Dragan in Raph's arms. "No..you didn't..YOU DIDN'T!" He smirked at her and turned Dragan's head to reveal the bite marks. Kara's eyes widened in terror, tears running down her face. She heard the others running to them and they all did a double take. Leo's eyes were on Dragan and his pupil shrunk in horror to see not only had Dragan been taken, but also bitten.
"Fools, I have what I came for, and more. Let us go, my monsters!" Savanti held up the time jumper, a door opening behind them and they all left through it.
"No!" Mikey shouted, running towards them but he fell to the ground when it closed in front of him. "He-He took Raph! And Dragan! And it's all my fault!" He pounded his fist into the ground, crying. Renet walked up to him and placed her hand on his back comfortingly.
"And my father." Esmeralda whispered, covering her mouth, new tears falling. "What will become of him?"
"We gotta follow!" Donnie stated, looking over at Renet.
"This'll completely depower my staff, but we've gotta stop Savanti, for good!" Renet summoned a door for them; Leo and Kara were the first to go, Mikey soon after.
"Don't worry, Esmeralda. We're save your dad. No matter what."
"Oh, thank you, strange goblins."
Renet was the last to go through the door and when it closed Esmeralda stood alone in the crypt. She clutched her hands to her chest as if she were praying. "Please, please hurry."
When they landed in the new area, they stood to their feet.
"Where are we now, Renet?" Leo asked.
"We're in Germany, in the year eighteen eighteen, and that, my friends, is Frankenstein's castle." She pointed just ahead where a stone castle on the edge of a cliff stood, thunder cackling behind it.
Before anyone could take a step Kara, who had been quiet the entire time, spoke. "Mikey..what did you mean that it was your fault?" She turned her head to look at him, his eyes wide from either pain, panic, sorrow, or all.
