Jessica Moore is a junior at Wilton High School. She is a very pretty girl that gets a lot of attention. She is also extremely intelligent and takes half of her classes through their local college. She shares a math class with Sam, and Sam will admit to finding the girl attractive, as anyone in their right mind would. With her long blonde hair and soft brown eyes, she could melt anyone's heart.

Jessica likes Sam because he talks to her like a person, not an object. When he asks her questions in class it is not simply because he wants to draw her attention, but because he genuinely trusts her intellect. She whole-heartedly believes Sam is a good person. So when he approaches her in the hallway after class, her heart gives a small flutter.

"Hey Jess, could I ask you something?" Sam questions and she grins up at him.

"Sure Sam, what's up?"

"Uh, I'm not sure if you already have a date or not, but if not would you like to go to homecoming with me?" he asks, hand brushing the back of his neck nervously. At this, she grins even wider.

"Of course, Sam," she says, and the boy breathes out a sigh of relief. "Although I do hope I will see you before then," she adds, looking up at Sam through her lashes. Sam grins back.

"Uh, we could meet up Thursday night? Study for the math exam?" he asks and she grins.

"Sounds great. Let me just," she takes a pen out and takes Sam's hand, scribbling her number on the inner portion of his wrist. "See you in math class," she says, grinning at Sam as she walks off to her homeroom.

When Sam takes his seat at lunch that afternoon he greets Castiel with a small smile, willing that annoying little thud to pass when Castiel smiles back. It is not nearly as prominent as before and he thanks the heavens for that. The next to arrive at the table is Jo, who promptly slams her tray down and stares at Sam. "You're going to homecoming with Jessica Moore?" she asks, and Sam raises an eyebrow.

"Yes, but how did you know? I was gonna mention something once everyone got here," he says, looking more than moderately confused.

"They already know. Chuck told us in the lab last period. Anna, his little sister," she adds the side-note as she looks at Cas, "texted him after her friend Zack tried to ask Jessica to homecoming during their homeroom. Apparently, you asked her just before that?"

"Well, yeah-"

"Why didn't you tell us you were planning on asking her?" Jo huffs, seeming a bit offended at being left out of the inner workings of Sam Winchester's mind. He sighs, rolling his eyes at the dramatic role she's playing.

"I'm sorry. Look, if it makes you feel better, her and I are meeting for a study date Thursday night as well. There, a piece of the story that even Zack wouldn't know, directly from the source. We good now?" Sam tries not to laugh as her demeanor takes a complete turn.

Jo grins as she sits in her chair. "We're good." Her attention is then turned to Castiel, who had yet to say a word the entire time. "So, Cassie, you planning on asking anyone?" Jo asks, her voice sounding as innocent as she can manage. Castiel goes red in the face and Jo almost seems to relish in it, she knows just as well as anyone that there is only one person Castiel is interested in. No matter how much both he and Dean deny it they are almost comically obvious.

"Uh, no, not particularl-"

"Good. You can join Kevin, Andy, and I as we hang like losers by the punch bowl. That is unless-"

"Jo, shut up," Kevin huffs as he takes his seat. A blush floods his cheeks and not too far behind him comes Chuck, who sits his plate down at the table as well, next to Kevin.

"Hey Chuck, long time no see," Sam grins at the athlete. Chuck smiles back, settling himself in his seat. Unlike the others, Sam shares no classes with Chuck this year. Even Castiel has Financial Literacy with him, though the two never speak. Now that Sam thinks about it, he does not believe the two have ever actually been properly introduced.

"Thought it was about time I catch up on the group gossip seeing as I'm having to learn about it from my sister now," Chuck laughs and then looks over to Castiel. "You're in my Financial Literacy class right? Castiel?" Cas looks more than shocked.

"Uh, yes, actually," Castiel speaks slowly, seeming thoroughly confused as to how the man recognized him, or more so remembered his name. The teacher even gave up, simply referring to him as Cas most of the time.

"That's cool. Dig the name, angel of Wednesday right?" Castiel looks even more gobsmacked.

"Okay don't break him. Chuck's a writer and he's really into religious studies. He knows almost everything about any religion that you could think of," Kevin adds, noticing and taking pity on the look of utter bemusement that had taken over Cas's normal features.

"Right, sorry, I'm just not used to people actually knowing that, or my name in general actually," Cas responds.

"I don't know everything," Chuck says, shooting Kevin a pointed look before he adds, "But I do know a lot." At that moment Andy finally arrives, plopping his tray down and falling into his seat.

"So, besides Sam, anyone who has plans on asking anyone to the dance? Ya know since apparently, this is a question I have to ask outright." Jo shoots a pointed glance at Sam who simply rolls his eyes. No one answers and Jo rolls her eyes. "Not even you Chuck?" she asks, and her eyes shift in a not-so-subtle way toward Kevin. Chuck's face heats and he tries to answer the unasked question under the illusion of answering the asked one.

"No, it's uh, just not the right time. Ya know? Girls are too much drama." Chuck has never formally come out, so no one pushes when he pretends to be straight. The boy has never been on a date with another girl in his life unless someone were to count the girl he took to their 8th-grade dance, which no one does. Especially considering the fact that the only thing they did was show up together and then he ditched her to spend the rest of his night hanging out with Kevin. His friends on the football team just brushed it off as him being picky because most of them chose not to see the truth right in front of their eyes. The only person Chuck had actually come out to had been Jo, but everyone else in their group already knew. One only had to see the way he looked at Kevin to be convinced.

"Right then, what about you Andy? Or Kevin? Either of you planning on asking someone and ditching me to be by the punch bowl by myself?" Jo jokes, grinning even as she tries to act offended at the mere concept.

"Of course not Jo," Kevin answers, chuckling softly.

"I don't need a date to have fun," Andy responds and then proceeds to shove half of his excuse of a burger into his mouth.

"Darcy say no again?" Kevin asks, all of them already aware of what the answer will be.

"Yup," he answers, a bit of his burger flying out as he responds.

When Sam walks into math class his eyes instantly shoot towards Jessica who shoots him a dazzling grin. Her grin makes Sam's knees feel a little weak and he greets her with a soft, "Hey Jess," as he walks past her desk to his own. He sits back a seat and one to the left, Cas right next to him and directly behind Jessica.

"Hey Sam," she greets, still smiling brightly. She turns around reluctantly as the teacher walks in and raps his knuckles against the board three times, his way of drawing the class's attention.

It is the last period of the day when Sam feels his phone go off in his pocket. He glances up to make sure that his history teacher is not looking before he pulls his phone out just enough to see the screen. Dean's name is there along with a text that reads, "Heading to Gabriel's after you get out of school. Tell Cas I'm picking him up too."

At this point, Sam is confused as to why Gabriel and Castiel had not just moved in with them. They had all been together almost every day for the past week, usually at Gabriel's where they were supposed to be working on something but never got it done. Gabriel and Dean have been working on the broken plumbing in the bathroom sink for nearly three days now. When they weren't, Gabriel was nearly breathing down Sam's neck as Dean and Cas spoke to one another, all hushed tones with the occasional blush.

Sam thought that surely Gabriel would get bored of his own antics and honestly a part of him still is but at this point, he has just grown to accept it. Gabriel always finds some excuse to bug Sam, sometimes over things that are completely normal habits. "No Sam, no human runs their hands through their hair that much. It is not normal. Honestly, at this point, it's just unnatural. Your hair always looks like you just lost a fight to a comb." Gabriel's words ring through Sam's mind and he tries not to laugh. One thing that Gabriel is great at doing is making everyone laugh, even Sam.

Sam shakes his head, hoping to shake Gabriel from his mind as well. He keeps finding ways to sneak in even when they are not in the same building. Sam looks over at Cas, who looks nearly bored out of his mind. He scribbles a quick note on the corner of his page and rips it off, handing it over as casually as he can manage. Cas nods his head in Sam's direction upon reading it, seeming not the least bit phased by their new norm. If it wasn't Dean texting Sam, it was Gabe texting Cas.

The final bell rings and Sam cannot get out of the classroom fast enough. Sam loves history, but this teacher has a way of droning in class that kills nearly all excitement in the room. He is almost dreading seeing Gabriel, but at least with him, Sam knows he will not be bored. Sure, maybe slightly uncomfortable and a tad bit confused, but never bored. Nothing is ever boring with Gabriel.

"So, what do you think dinner will be tonight?"

"Not sure. Maybe they'll just start injecting the grease straight in, skip the dough-formed delivery." Castiel laughs. The monotony of pizza for dinner has only been broken by Chinese take-out and burgers from the Roadhouse, none of which meet Sam's health standards. However, unless Sam wants to get an actual job instead of the occasional shifts at the Roadhouse he has to live with the grease-covered fuel and make up for it by exercising regularly.

The boys make their way towards the doors and it only takes Sam a second to spot Dean's car. Time to head to home number two.
