A/N: OMG. I feel so horrible. I haven't done much work on this since I published the first chapter. I hope to get this done in time before the year is through, or die trying XD Ok, maybe not die, but I will certainly sweat a lot of tears (and possibly blood) into this story. LOL Many apologies, however, for the delay -_- Onwards to the story! Right after this little disclaimer thing-ie!

DISCLAIMER: I, the ever lovable and sweet friendwriter does NOT own either the Harry Potter characters OR the ones from InuYasha. I just have a huge crush on both Draco and Sesshomaru *blushes*

CHAPTER TWO

Kagome never really like flying. It was boring, awkward to talk to others - which she didn't need to worry about because she was the only one, besides the flight crew, on the company's jet. But then there was that annoying pop that her ears made after they reached a certain height. But, it wasn't the flight that made her nervous.

She had received an invitation of sorts to come to London, England, and learn about their customs through firsthand experience. It was described as an outreach across different countries and she was the sole recipient. She didn't expect this "honor."as she called it - only had briefly saw an ad and filled out the necessary information before moving on. Her mother had been all excited and happy for her to be able to get out of the house.

"It will be a great experience, honey! And you can stop thinking about other things for a little while!" Her mother had said.

Them "other things" had been none other than a mention towards InuYasha and finding a way back to the Feudal Era. Her heart ached at the thought of not having been able to get back to her friends in the other era. She'd been abruptly thrown back to her Present time after she had completed and defeated the Shikon Jewel. She had been trying for weeks and nothing so far. She had finished high school, gaining mostly B's and C's, and maybe a couple A's here and there. But when she wasn't trying to find another way to the Feudal Era, she felt empty and quite bored.

The other era had provided an adventure and amazing friends. In the Present era, her old friends had simply moved on to bigger and better things, like college and new job experiences.

Kagome didn't feel "smart enough" to go to college, even a local one, which her mother and grandfather understood completely. Telling her "it was her decision" and that she was "adult enough" to figure out what she wanted to do with the rest of her life. Thing was, there was nothing that she wanted to do. She was too afraid that if she did find something to do then she would forget all about finding a way to back Feudal Era Japan, her friends, and...InuYasha. She couldn't do that. But her past failures were beginning to wear on her deeply.

This new experience could be what she needed. Kagome wasn't going to give up her search to back to her friends. She just needed...a break.

"Miss? Miss Higurashi?"

Kagome snapped out of her thoughts at the mention of her name, forcing a smile on her face as she saw the concern on the flight attendant's face.

"Sorry, did you say something?"

The attendant smiled weakly back. "Yes, I just wanted to let you know that we'll be landing soon at our destination. Can I get you anything before we land?"

Kagome smiled wider for real this time. "No, I'm quite fine. Thank you, though."

The flight attendant smiled once more and walked away to join the rest of the crew.

Kagome sighed. She let herself get lost in her thoughts again. She felt sorry for the crew on the aircraft, especially the flight attendant. Kagome wasn't being a very talkative or entertaining guest. Since she had boarded the jet, all Kagome had done was stow away her carry-on above her and sat in her seat. Twice the attendant had come over, asking her sweetly if she wanted anything and Kagome had just turned her away.

Kagome promised, no, made a silent vow then. When the plane landed and she was back on her two feet, Kagome would be the best guest that she could be. She'd even try and make friends before she had to go back home. She couldn't let this experience go to waste! The first person that she laid her eyes on at the welcoming gate would surely become a new best friend!

A/N: Ho! Ho! Ho! Man, Kagome is in for a challenge! Or maybe she will succeed? Who knows, really? I'm winging it from here. Or am I? LOL Please leave a review, just no flames as I'm seriously trying my best to make this an awesome story. XD

Love always,
