Salty
George glared at the witch as she winked at Remus before handing him the Valentine Day's card.
Remus smiled politely and didn't lose his smile when he faced his stewing lover with an arched eyebrow. "Do you have a problem, George?"
"Are you kidding me?" George asked in a furious voice, the tone almost frantic. It was a rhetorical question that didn't actually require a response.
Remus gave one anyway. "No, something is bothering you, and I want to know what it is."
"Something is bothering me," George said in a wondrous voice. "You don't say. Well, okay, let's try this one on for size. I am salty!"
Remus chuckled, glanced at the pink Valentine's Day card that he still clutched. "When are you not?"
George glared at him. "I am salty because you allowed Tonks to not only flirt with you blatantly in front of me when everyone knows we're together, but you accepted a card that probably has words of love within it."
"I was being polite," Remus said defensively.
"To her. It's downright rude to me that you accepted it and are still holding it! That doesn't matter to you, though, does it/"
Remus lost his smile. "George, you have no reason to be jealous."
"You're still holding the card!" George glared at the offensive thing.
Remus took his wand and made it vanish. "Better?"
"It would have been better if you lit it on fire," George muttered.
"There is no reason to make it dangerous for me," Remus said mockingly.
"I wish she'd just give up on her crush on you. I hate the way she looks at you," George whispered.
Remus took a step towards the redhead and cupped his cheek. "Let her look if she wants to. You're the one that gets to touch."
George slipped his hands underneath the waistband of Remus' pants and tugged him even closer. "I better be the only one that gets to touch," he warned.
Remus' answer was a kiss.
