I woke up to the freezing cold wetness on my face and upper body. I heard a loud snorting laughing, the obnoxious kind where you just want to punch the person in the nose to stop it. I also heard four extra pairs of feet that sounded like a herd horses ran through the house instead of the clumsy footfalls from Bella. I opened my eyes and saw that my upper body was soaked from ice water and no one was around. I got up and watched the ice fall off of me and walked slowly into the kitchen where I heard new loud voices.

Two females and two males. As I got closer I felt the oppressive force of something dangerous that seemed non-existence in the living room. I entered the room and I was right, two new females and males were sitting at the island in Bella's kitchen. The first in line was a small female, fragile looking, she was so thin-anorexic I concluded- she had brown hair and brown; almost black eyes. And the shortest person I've ever seen, she only had to be like four feet and nine inches at the most, maybe even shorter but that is where the oppressive force is coming from. She is obviously the leader of the whole group from the force that is just melting off of her. Next to her was a tall male, taller than me-six foot maybe- and he had black hair and green eyes, he was lean but with muscles. Then next to him was obviously his brother, same height but and hair color just different eyes colors-hazel instead of pure green. And lastly there was a taller female than the first one but shorter than the males by at least six inches and she had blonde hair with hazel eyes and she was stocky build that was packing muscles and looked like the enforcer of the group.

They were all staring at me with smirks that I could tell that it was them that dumped the water on me. I spoke first.

"Thanks for the wakeup call." I said dryly. Shortie smirk got sharper and said "Your welcome."

I looked around and saw that Bella was nowhere to be seen. "Where-"

"Bella's up in bed." Said green eyes. I nodded and asked "Who are you?" Shorties smirk turned into a dangerous smile and looked at the others whose smirks were just as dangerous and they all said it at the same time "No one." and they disappeared. No smoke or anything was there that announced their leaving. "Witches." I muttered. Then I thought of Bella and ran to her room to see if she was still there and she was. All wrapped up in her blankets and still sleeping and I looked at the clock to see what time it was since I fell asleep in the afternoon and saw that it was only 12:09 am. I rubbed my head and looked down at my wet clothes and went into her bathroom. I took off all my clothes except my boxer and crawled into the bed besides Bella and fought her for some blankets. I gave up after like ten minutes of fighting her and curled around her and laid there until I fell asleep again. I woke up again at 6:56am when Bella got up to use the bathroom.

"Hey, when did you get here?" she asked crawling back into bed and snuggling close to me.

"Around midnight." I replied softly.

"Hey."

"Yea Damon."

"Who were the four witches in your kitchen?" I asked curiously.

Bella raised her eyebrow "Witches, what witches? Why were there witches in my house?" Bella started raising her voice and getting out of bed. I pinned her down next to me and said "Don't you know them though? So it shouldn't be a problem right?" I asked her with my eyebrow scrunched together. Bella then froze and relaxed in a matter of seconds.

"What did they look like? Was there four of them and there was a very small women with brown hair?" Bella asked. I nodded and she relaxed. "'The smallest one is my cousin and the rest is her friends that are practically family." "Oh." Was I all said. "Why the hell did they dump ice water on me then? Do they know about me? Why did they do it at midnight?" I asked huffily. Bella laughed. "Because that's who they are, they love inflicting trouble on anyone and anywhere and at any time." I pouted. Bella rolled over to check the time to see that it was close to seven thirty and rolled back to me and said "I'm going back to sleep till noon cause I don't have to go to school till five." I nodded and let her fall back to sleep while just watching her because I couldn't sleep with all the sleep I got in the last day or two.
