Slayer: You know I'm actually interested in why this story and my newest addition Faunus and Couriers are more popular than the other stories I've made. Understandably TOTDG book one was pretty bad in the beginning it being my first story and all. But it seems like my two side stories are very well liked. Strange I say to myself. In which case it falls to you readers to tell me what you like and don't like about my stories and what I can do to improve. It also falls to you to tell me why you like this story over my others. After all this story has still yet to gain a single review yet. In fact between all my stories I've only gotten six or seven reviews. And that's between five stories. Anyway enough of that today we shall be dealing with Gin! After that we will have our full main cast of characters.

Shadow: Finally we're done with the beginning arc! Oh yeah by the way you have some apologizing to do.

Slayer: Right… now Bloodborne has finally come out Yeah! However… it turns out that the father Gascoigne was actually the second boss instead of the fourth as I had made it. So sorry for that, but that's what happens when you make a story using something which you've only seen beta and alpha footage of. Again sorry for that, but for Shirone do the disclaimer!

Chapter Five: Mangy mutts

I took a day to rest and to show Shirone around the mansion. Apparently she was in awe at the size of it. I only smirked knowing that my renovations would be worth it. During that time I also called up Mikogami to tell him what had happened. He congratulated me and told me Tsukune was still alive. He also said that he'd be sending over a school uniform that would fit Shirone. Our conversation turned a bit more serious when I asked him if he knew anything about my sword and the new voice in my head.

"Hmm… Well I don't really know it could be that the sword has sentience and that it's just communicating with you. But since its changed shape and even changed your dark side I can't really be sure. I'll do some research and see what I can come up with. In the meantime try and talk to them and learn what you can. Also practice with it! You never know what else you could discover."

"Yeah thanks I owe you for everything you've done so far." He laughed before hanging up the phone. Sighing I held my hand up and focused, soon enough black lightning danced around my fingers. As it turned out when I used Xenoliths blood not only did I become stronger physically but I also received his lightning. Although mine was black instead of white, stopping the flow of energy it disappeared. Still I grinned because now I had another trick up my sleeve. Just wait until everyone sees this! I also thought back to Shirone and how she'd be following me around school. I chuckled at this thought. I can't wait to introduce her to Mizore and Shizuka! I'm sure they'll get along swimmingly.

The next day came along with the uniform; however I scowled and made the skirt a bit longer for Shirone's sake. Later I knew that I would have to take her shopping for new clothes. As for living arrangements she can now come and go from the hunters dream whenever she wants. We left an hour before classes started so I could introduce her to Ms. Nekonome. To my surprise Shirone found the school to be nice looking, I was beginning to wonder if yokai are just strange or I was just missing something. We got strange looks from everyone we passed but they didn't bother us seeing that it was me. The same guy who took out Saizou on the first day and also had beaten up anyone who tried to flirt with any of the girls I know.

Don't look at me like that! Most of them were a bunch perverts anyway! Still we made it our homeroom where I saw Ms. Nekonome writing things onto the chalk board.

"Hello Ms. Nekonome!" She turned to me with a huge smile.

"Why hello! Nyaa! It's nice to see you back in class. Don't worry you didn't miss much. And anything you did I bet you'd be able to finish in no time flat." Blinking she saw Shirone and she was confused at first but then her eyes lit up. "Ahh! This must be Shirone Chan right?" I nodded my head while feeling grateful to Mikogami for actually informing the teachers beforehand. "Well it's nice to meet you! I'll be you homeroom teacher Shizuka Nekonome! If you need anything don't be afraid to ask."

Shirone smiled back at her friendly nature. "Thank you I'll try not to be a burden." Shizuka waved her off still smiling.

"Nonsense as if anything as cute as you are could be a burden." She blushed a bit at the compliment. Smiling I took a look at my phone to see the time. We had about thirty more minutes before class started.

I turned back to the two talking cat yokai. "So do you have a last name you can use?" Shirone seemed to ponder this for a bit. To be honest I was also curious about what she would choose for a last name.

Then gaining a large smile she answered the question. "My name from now on is Shirone Infinium!"

Both me and Shizuka blinked for a bit in surprise. However my surprise was broken when she squealed and embraced Shirone in a tight hug.

"Aren't you just adorable?! Nyaa! Oh how I wished I had a younger sister!" For my part I started to worry for Shirone's safety, since she was starting to turn a bit blue from lack of oxygen.

I quickly yelled out at her. "Ms. Nekonome I would appreciate it if you didn't kill my adopted sister two days after getting her!" Looking at me then back to Shirone she let go after seeing her now purple face.

"Oh my gosh! I'm so sorry are you alright?"

She breathed for a bit before answering. "Yeah I'm fine now. But seriously how are you so strong?" That was actually a good question; mainly because nekomusume aren't know for incredible strength. Shirone wasn't a push over either though. So almost crushing her in a hug really shouldn't have happened.

"Then again a lot of things now a day's don't make sense. Like how Tsukune won't die."

'Oh you're back; I guess I have no choice but to agree with you there. Who are ya any ways?'

"My name is …. Huh…"

'Um I'm sorry? I don't think I caught that.'

"To be honest I thought you could hear my name by now. Oh well always next time."

'I don't think I follow?'

"Don't worry about it for now just pay attention to your adorable sister!" At this point I truly think I'm just insane. Sighing I looked at the time to see that class starts in five minutes. But like usual in high school's everyone shows up last minute.

Turning back to Ms. Nekonome who was still talking to Shirone I informed her of the time. "So class starts in five minutes. Do you need us to wait outside for everyone to show up or do you want us in here?"

Turning to me she answered my question. "Shirone chan can wait by my desk for now but you need to take a seat." Nodding I went up to my desk and put my coat over the chair to my right. That way I could save it. About one minute before class started everyone started to file into the classroom. Unsurprisingly my group of friends showed up last. I waved at them while they waved back. Mizore after seeing me ran up to me, we gave each other a short hug before taking our seats.

After everyone greeted me Mizore started asking me about the job I did. "So seeing that you're here I can only assume the job went well."

I rubbed the back of my head. "Define well."

She looked at me confused. "What you failed the job or something? That doesn't inspire confidence on your ability to keep Tsukune alive."

Tsukune's eye started twitching but I ignored it to answer Mizore. "Well I didn't fail it, more like I quit in the middle of it to do something more important."

Everyone looked at me confused, surprisingly it was Kurumu who asked me what I meant. However I just smirked at their confusion. "Don't worry you'll see soon enough. And I will explain latter so just wait until after class before asking questions." I knew they wanted to ask me more but I was grateful that they didn't ask anything else. Then class finally started with everyone who didn't make it before barging in to get to their seats. Again high school everyone. As everyone was talking I could see Shirone fidgeting a bit more likely from being nervous around all these new people. So I smiled and gave her a small wave, she returned them with her own and seemed to calm down a bit. However the action made her noticeable by the others in the class, all around the room people were now whispering about who the small girl could be.

That was when Ms. Nekonome clapped her hands together to gain everyone's attention. Quickly the whispering and talking stopped soon after.

Taking a breath Shizuka started speaking to the class. "Good morning class! Nyaa! Today we have two interesting subjects to discuss!" I raised my eyebrow at that. I already knew Shirone would be a rather interesting subject. What the other thing could be I had no idea so I decided to just listen unlike some of the others who were whispering again.

She waited a bit for the whisperings to stop before talking a bit. "We have a new student today. Could you please introduce yourself to the class now?"

Nervously Shirone walked to her side, the others in the class were now quite confused. Well everyone but me that is however my reaction didn't go unnoticed.

Mizore whispered to me. "Why aren't you surprised by this?"

I just did a shushing motion with my right hand before speaking. "You'll see don't worry." After everyone was done whispering… And spreading rumors with each other Shirone began introducing herself.

"Hello I'm Shirone Infinium it's nice to meet you all. Please look after me." She then gave a short bow and stood up straight. However it was like a bomb was dropped in the class as everyone turned to me then back to her.

Then all at once everyone exclaimed "EHH!" Really it was as though I was in some strange anime… (_)

"Alright everyone settle down you can all ask questions later." Everyone quieted down a bit but I could still feel Mizore's eyes drilling into my back.

"Ok you can take your seat next to your brother now, we still have one more announcement today. Nyaa!" Shirone nodded and walked over to the seat I saved for her and sat down while handing me back my coat.

"Alright class for the next few days you will be choosing clubs to join!" There was a few groans of annoyance throughout the class be she just ignored them. "Now joining a club is completely mandatory so no exceptions. We're doing this because humans also have clubs and so we must to!" I decided not to say anything about some schools over in the states not having clubs. "Also as a side remember to drop by the newspaper club in which I'm its advisor! Nyaa!" Shameless advertising aside, the newspaper club was probably the best choice for me and Shirone. That's if she wanted to join it that is. "As such classes will be over for today so you can look at all the clubs. Okay everyone have a fun time and check out my club! Nyaa!" With that she zipped out of the class, leaving everyone to go look for a club. Huh seems like I picked a good day to come back here. Leaves me with ample opportunity to explain things to everyone.

I got up from my desk but then suddenly felt my coats collar being grabbed. Choking slightly I felt myself being pulled out of the classroom. I turned around to see it was Mizore who was pulling on me. The rest of the group and Shirone followed soon after.

Hello my name is line break!

I ended up just letting myself be pulled until we reached a familiar set of vending machines. Along the way Yukari seemed to join us. I'd have to ask about that latter but for now I needed to explain things first. When she finally let me go and we turned to face each other.

Looking between me and Shirone she finally spoke. "You have quite a bit of explaining here to do mister."

I laughed before beginning my tale on the whole devil thing. During my tale the others faces went through a few emotional changes, from shock, sad, glad, and mostly anger.

"Yeah so that's what we've had to deal with. But I think everything turned out alright in the end."

They just nodded their heads before Mizore spoke up again. "Yeah sorry for dragging you like that."

I just waved my hand as if to brush off the comment. "Don't worry no harm done. I did say I'd explain after class anyways. Now time for a few introductions." Placing a hand on Shirone's shoulder while gesturing to Mizore I started introducing everyone. "Shirone I would like you to meet Mizore Shirayuki."

Mizore gave her a warm smile. "Hello nice to meet you."

I then pointed to Moka. "This is Moka Akashiya."

"Hello I hope we'll get along!"

Pointing to Kurumu I introduced her next. "This is Kurumu Kurono"

"Hi!"

I then pointed to Tsukune. "That's Tsukune Aono."

"Yeah nice to… Wait what do you mean by that?"

Ignoring him I turned to Yukari. "And if I remember correctly this is Yukari Sendo. Which begs to question just why is she here?"

Yukari answered me although the answer kind of ticked me off. "I'm here because it's my destiny to be with Tsukune and Moka! After they both saved me from the bullies you scared off."

My eye twitched while I turned to Tsukune. "Aono…" He gulped a bit while I quickly grabbed the front of his shirt and started shaking him. "What in the void is this!? Are you trying to build a harem or something here because I don't approve! Plus a thirteen year old what's wrong with you?!" He was unable to answer me since I was shaking him around. Seeing this I stopped and sighed. "You know what forget it, just fix this mess before the end of the school year!" The guy could only nod dumbly as he fell to his knees.

"Okay now that I've addressed a potential future issue it's time for us to go and pick a club. Personally I think the newspaper club would be good. But we should go check out the others just to see what's available." The others just nodded while Moka, Kurumu, and Yukari all huddled around Tsukune in concern. "Oh don't worry about him, if Akashiya can push him into a stone wall hard enough for him to dent it. Then he'll live through this little thing." They all just glared at me but I shrugged it off seeing how couldn't possibly harm me.

Turning to Mizore and Shirone I gave a smile. "So while those four hate on me let's go find ourselves a club." They just nodded and we left followed shortly after by the other four. And after looking around for a while I could only come to one conclusion.

It's official monsters are even stranger than humans. Seriously the clubs were as strange as they could get! I mean a mummy club, a acupuncture club, and don't get me started on the mime club! Unfortunately the few normal ones we've come across were filled with people trying to get at Kurumu and Moka. So far the only safe clubs I knew about was the kendo, karate, and newspaper club. I didn't want to join the first two since well… I would easily be the strongest and I like a little challenge when fighting.

The others also seemed a bit depressed at not being to find a club that looked good. That was when Tsukune suggested the swimming club.

Sighing I whacked him over the head. "Ow! What was that for?!"

I face palmed at his idiocy. "Tsukune vampires and water don't mix. Seriously you really should study up on different monsters since you know… You go to a school filled with them."

At that Tsukune looked a bit sheepish while turning to Moka. "Sorry Moka I didn't know and wasn't thinking. Forget I suggested anything." A bit flustered Moka quickly forgave him. Okay so once again preventing a crisis, I decided to give my own opinion.

"Well since we got nothing left or at least nothing that interests us let's go check out Ms. Nekonome's club. She did say she was the clubs advisor after all." The others all agreed and we went off to find her. She ended up being in the teachers' lounge eating raw fish. And based on Shirone's face as she stared at it she wanted some as well.

Clearing my throat to gain her attention she looked up at us. "Well hello what brings you seven here? Nyaa?"

Seeing how I was the unofficial leader of this band of misfits I answered her. "We were hoping that you could allow us to join the newspaper club. Nothing else really seemed to suit us to be honest." I maybe downgrading that statement a bit.

"You think?"

'Yeah but she doesn't really need to know about that.'

"Whatever you say Hunter"

With the conversations with the voices in my head over I looked back towards our teacher who seemed be beaming in joy. "Oh this is just great! Now we have plenty of members Nyaa! Oh would anyone care for some fish?"

Nodding Shirone asked for some. Shizuka ended up pulling out a cooler and handing her a small raw fish from inside it.

"Thank you very much Sensei!" with that said she started eating it. Still it made me wonder about why cats liked fish so much. After all I read that cats can't actually eat raw fish or else they would get sick. Oh well not really my problem.

Still smiling she pulled out a piece of paper and wrote on it the directions to the club room. She handed it to me then continued speaking.

"Now I want all of you to thereafter classes tomorrow. That way I can have time to inform the clubs president about you, so we can have time to prepare for your arrivals." We nodded our heads and said our goodbyes. After that we ended up using the rest of the day to just talk and hang out. I was also right about Shirone and Mizore, they got along pretty well. It made me glad since I was planning for the three of us to stay together for quite a while. Now if only I could find the correct way to ask Mizore out…

"Wouldn't it be simpler to just tell her how you feel?"

'Yeah but I've never been really good with the whole girlfriend boyfriend stuff to be perfectly honest.'

"Well I say just go for it you'll never know unless you don't try." I could only agree with her point. I mentally frowned I still haven't gotten used to this whole thing. The night was actually pretty usual for me, I made dinner for me and Mizore with the added addition of Shirone. It was quite nice actually, after which I got Mizore to her room and then got Shirone to bed in the hunters dream. To be honest I was beginning to think I needed to rename the place. But that could wait until later. So getting myself ready for bed I hoped into said bed and fell asleep. And for once I didn't have a nightmare.

Hello my name is line break!

The next day I felt happy like a weight was off my shoulders. Truly it is wonderful to have a full nights rest without any disturbing dreams. So quickly getting ready I went to get Shirone up to find her already ready. So going back to my dorm I made breakfast for her, me, and Mizore who showed up when I was almost done. It was rather nice eating with the special people in my life. After breakfast the three of us headed off to class meeting the others along the way. Only unlike usual Yukari was also with them. And they were all fighting over Tsukune, the fight was ended when me and Mizore froze them. Truly my life just keeps getting stranger.

Because of that little incident we almost didn't make it to class on time. Still classes went by normally with the exception of a small Nekoshou following me to my different classes. Unsurprisingly Shirone was actually pretty smart and was able to do most of the work by herself. Things she didn't know what to do I helped with, however the best part was during gym when she out ran most of the others in class. I couldn't help but laugh at everyone's faces. During lunch all of us met up and ate in the cafeteria. I made lunches for myself, Mizore, and Shirone while the others got their own food. Although for a certain pink haired vampire that meant Tsukune. Truly it was astounding that he hasn't died from blood loss yet. Just how much can his body produce anyways?

After that we went to finish up our classes for the day. We all met up outside of the classroom as previously agreed so we could all head to the club room at the same time. Ms. Nekonome also came with us to make sure we didn't get lost on the way there even though she gave us directions yesterday. Eventually after walking for a bit we found a room with the sign newspaper club above it. Entering it we found the room was almost empty with only a few tables and a desk at the front of the room. The seven of us took seats at the table while Shizuka stood behind the teacher's desk at the front of the room. Turning to our new Advisor I raised an eyebrow while asking a question that was probably bugging all of us.

"So are we the only members or are there others?"

Just laughed at me while waving a hand. "Don't worry of course you aren't the only ones." I could tell there was something else to go with that. "We still have our club president!" There it is, truthfully I could now see why see wanted more members. That was when someone entered the room.

"Sorry I'm late I got held up a bit." I looked at the one who entered to see a boy a year older than us. He had green eyes, black hair which he kept back using a red headband. He wore the standard uniform except he wasn't wearing the tie and his suit was unbuttoned and his dress shirt was unbuttoned at the collar. He also had on a silver wolf pendent. In his hands were three rose bouquets. Already I could tell this guy would be a hassle. Smiling He introduced himself.

"Hello I'm Ginei Morioka! But please call me Gin. A pleasure to meet you all. Now I got these flowers for the beautiful women that decided to join us today." With that he gave Moka, Kurumu, and Mizore a bouquet each while giving two single flowers to the younger girls.

I was able to hear Kurumu whispering to Tsukune after she got hers. "Umm… Tsukune I'm not really comfortable dealing with flirty guys."

Raising an eyebrow I turned to her. "Aren't you a succubus though?" She just gave me a look that told me to shut up.

That was when Mizore froze her bouquet and set it on a nearby table. Then she hugged my arm while narrowing her eyes at Gin. Laughing nervously he turned to the others.

That was when our teacher finally spoke up. "Well now that you all are here I'll leave Gin here to get you all situated. I'm counting on you Gin!" Giving a salute the Nekomusume ran out the door. I had to wonder what she needed to do that she left in such a hurry. But seeing how she was always like this I really didn't give it much thought. We took a few moments to introduce ourselves.

After we were done Gin started our "indoctrination into the club". "Now everyone listen up! As members of the newspaper club it is our sworn duty to print the schools newspaper!" No really? "As such we need to be willing to put our lives on the line to get all the details, and create quality work! Being a member is hard work and I expect you all to put your blood, sweat, and tears into creating this paper!"

"A bit dramatic isn't he?" I could only agree with her on this one.

Gin then paused for a bit before giving a smile. "Nah I'm just kidding! Just do your best and have fun." My eye started twitching at this, already this guy was as strange as the other male yokai I've come across.

But for some reason Moka was nodding her head. "I think we can depend on him." That was when Gin took out a box and placed it on the teacher's desk.

"All right then for our first order of business we'll put up these posters to advertise the paper. After which we'll be done for today since it really is the first day." I at least had to give him credit for knowing what he's doing. "Okay we'll split up into two groups. Moka, Kurumu, Mizore, and I will stay here and work to set this place up. While the rest of you go out into the halls to put up some of these posters." I didn't like the idea of leaving Mizore with him but everyone else seemed to already agree with him. So reluctantly I left with my group carrying the box. With me, Tsukune, Yukari, and Shirone working together it didn't take all that long to put up all the posters. Then we made our way back to the club room. Inside we saw the girls on some stools at the front of the room. It looked like they were putting up some posters. Looking around I saw the place was relatively set up already. There was even a computer on one of the tables. We chose a table to sit for the moment since Gin was directing the others on how to set up still.

However that was when I saw him get on his knees behind them. I instantly realized what he was doing and it ticked me off. So thinking quickly I used my phone to take a silent, no flash picture of the act and blinked over to the room's window. I opened it wide up and blinked to Gin's side.

"Gin…" He looked at me and before he could say anything I kicked him hard enough to send him flying outside. That was when the others finally noticed my actions. Although Shirone was watching me the whole time. Getting off the stools Mizore raised an eyebrow at me.

"So what happened to Gin?"

I just shook my head in disappointment while handing her my phone with the picture I just took. "Well I couldn't let that idiot get away with this. Especially when you're also a target." The angry face she had became shy as she blushed at what I said.

Quietly she gave me a "Thank you."

I just smiled at her. "No problem anything for you." That was when the others approached us to ask what happened. Showing them the picture I told them. Suffice it to say they weren't really happy about this. That was when Gin climbed back inside the room holding his right side.

"What was that for?!"

I narrowed my eyes at him. "Well when some does what you do I really can't help but get them away from my friends."

Shirone shook her head while speaking in a very monotone voice. "Pervert." Really if it wasn't for the situation I would've laughed.

Gin nervously laughed before speaking. "Well… look at the time the clubs dismissed for now bye!" With that said he ran with a burst of speed out the door. The others blinked at his surprised speed since they weren't able to keep up.

Mizore turned to me since I was the fastest in the group. "Were you able to follow him because I doubt the rest of us could."

I nodded my head. "Yeah he's a bit slower than me but at least I can narrow down what he is with that speed of his." She just nodded, then she smiled and gave me a small kiss on my cheek. "That's for helping us earlier."

I just gave a laugh while rubbing the back of my head. I was also trying with partial success to keep the red off my face. That was when I got an idea, still smiling I turned to Mizore.

"So would you like to go out somewhere this weekend?" Yep I was finally asking her out, I figured now was a good of a time as any. Surprised everyone turned to us while we waited for the stunned Mizore's answer. Finally shaking off her surprise the most beautiful smile I've seen adorned her face as she gave me a tight hug.

"Yes I would love to!" Everyone looked happy for us but then Moka, Kurumu, and Yukari all turned towards Tsukune. Mizore and me parted from our hug to look at them. Tsukune was now slowly backing up already knowing what was probably going to happen.

With a sweet voice Moka spoke to him. "So Hunter san was finally asked Mizore out so is there anything you want to ask me?" Her voice sounded sweet and innocent but it was anything but.

Kurumu quickly added in her voice. "No is there anything you want to ask me?" Things escalated even more when Yukari added her words to the pile.

At that point I decided to ignore them and turn to Mizore. "So want to do it twelve on Saturday?" She nodded her head still wearing that wonderful smile of hers.

Shirone who was shuffling on her feet spoke to the two of us. "Um Shirayuki san could I maybe help you get ready when you go on the date? I've never really done anything like that before."

Mizore looked at her and gave the younger girl a hug. "Of course you can! And please call me Mizore Shirone chan! After all I'm with your brother now aren't I?" Shirone returned the hug with a happy smile. Truly it was nice to see them getting along. In truth I really was hoping that Shirone would see Mizore as an older sister figure since her real older sister caused her so much pain. I knew that we could give her the life she deserves. Eventually I'm hoping to add Mizore to our small family but for now things were rather perfect at that moment.

"He's mine!" Or at least it was until Kurumu started suffocating Tsukune again in another of her hugs. I turned to the scene the others were making. I sighed knowing that those four would really need to work out any issues. While I knew in the monster world it was fine for guys to have a couple wives. I personally didn't care for that since I did start as a human. That and I couldn't see the four living in the same house without killing each other and by extension Tsukune… By "accident". Well at least Tsukune's death would be by complete accident. To be honest I didn't see what they liked about him so much. But since I'm not them I decided not to dwell on it, after all it wasn't my business on who they liked and didn't like.

Turning back to Shirone and Mizore I clapped my hands. "Well now that everything's settled, let's all go back to my room to enjoy a nice dinner together as those four work out their problems." Looking at Tsukune and his plight they giggled a bit before nodding their heads at me. Quickly exiting the club room we all made our way down to my room. Tonight I had planned shrimp tempura, fried rice, and katsu chicken. For desert there was a chocolate cake I made. Today was a rather special day after all.

The next day went by as usual with the added bonus of having Mizore latched onto my arm as I held Shirone's hand. As we walked to our classes throughout the day I could hear the rumors going around about me and Shirone. Surprisingly a lot of people just chalked up her being here as her being as smart as I am. Apparently they just though genius must run in the family. There were also some rumors about her being my younger cousin. The most bothersome ones were the rumors where she was actually my daughter. I corrected those immediately. Classes went by as usual until the time came for us to go to the club room. Now despite our "presidents" behavior we've decided that doing the schools newspaper could actually be rather fun so decided to stay. The girls however would from now on give Gin a rather large berth of distance. Shirone said something along the lines of kicking his face if he tried anything to her. Personally I don't believe Gin would go that far, but I still had to chuckle when she said that. After all I remember how strong her kick was when she hit Xenolith.

Personally I just couldn't wait for the next three days to be over. I was looking forward to my date with Mizore after all. Getting situated in the room we just chattered as we waited for our president. Gin arrived five minutes later, he was sporting a few bandages on his face from when I kicked him out the window. When spotting me he gave me a glare. I only waved at him while giving a cheeky grin.

He sighed while taking his seat behind the front desk. "Alright despite our rough start yesterday I'm hoping we can get along to at least publish the paper. And since it's our first one I'll leave you seven to think of our first story."

Moka nodded her head. "That seems reasonable enough, and as long as you don't try anything else we'll work with you."

Gin smile while nodding. "Alright that seems fair enough. Besides I doubt I could beat Hunter here after that kick he gave me yesterday." There was something in the way he said those words that rubbed me the wrong way although I didn't show it.

Turning to the others shrugged my shoulders. "Well now that we covered that issue do any of you have any ideas?"

Tsukune shook his head after a bit of thought. "Nope I got nothing sorry."

Shirone also shook her head. "I've only been here two days so I don't have anything."

I nodded my head. "Yeah an I was gone for a while so I don't know about what's happened recently."

We thought for a while longer with Gin reading just reading some light novel. Eventually Kurumu snapped her fingers.

"I got it!" The rest of us turned to her even Gin. "Lately there's been rumors of a peeper in the school. What if for our first story we both find and reveal his identity?!"

The other girls nodded their consent at the idea more than likely because they wanted to release some righteous fury on the guy. "Alright then it's settled! Here's what I know, no one's so far has been able to get a clear look at him the guy because whenever someone gets close the guy disappears. However his usual spots are outside the girl's dorm and locker room."

That was when Gin spoke up. "Alright then our job is clear we split up and start asking about the guy. Make sure to bring a note pad to take notes and such. Don't want to lose any details." The others nodded their heads, I however decided that it was probably Gin. But without evidence I decided not to say anything yet. That way if I was wrong it would only cost me an apology.

"If we catch the creep can we kill him? I doubt anyone would care if there was one less pervert in the world."

'Sorry but no killing. Besides I bet the female population of the school will treat him correctly once we catch him.'

"Ahh… I see your point in that case leaving him alive will probably be worse than killing him."

"I must concur with that fact. The creep will deserve everything he gets." It always worries me when those two agree on something. But in this case I guess it made since because both were women. Again it worries me that there are two different women talking in my head. But I guess I just have to learn to deal with it. After a bit more discussion on the issue we split into groups. Mizore and Kurumu, Moka and Yukari, Gin and Tsukune, and finally me and Shirone. We asked around for a while and got a few different facts together. Fact one it was in fact a male student. Though we had already guessed that it was still nice to actually have written down. Second he was just a bit taller than I was. And third he would always disappear before anyone got close enough to identify him. Kurumu already said as such but it was nice to have confirmation. However what we didn't know was that some people had seen a werewolf.

As we made our way back to the club room to discuss our findings with everyone else we ended up seeing Tsukune running from a hoard of women. Not really caring for his personal well being since I figured whatever he did he deserved, I still blinked between him and the crowd in order to save my pay check.

Seeing me his attackers stopped as I turned to Tsukune. "So Aono what did you do this time?"

The girls spoke before he did. "We caught him peeping on us while we were changing in the locker room!"

I raised my eyebrow at this. "Really to be honest that doesn't sound like him."

Tsukune spoke up at that point. "It wasn't me I swear! Gin tricked me into going with him then yelled out he found the pervert and then ran away!"

I scowled at this but the girls weren't pacified yet. "Ha! A likely story but do you have proof?"

Coming to Tsukune's defense I spoke to them. "Actually I do. You see yesterday I caught Gin trying to look up the skirts of a few of our friends. I was able to take a picture of it before kicking him outside through the window." I showed them picture which made their hostility towards Tsukune disappear for the most part.

"Alright we'll believe you for now, but if we catch him doing this again I can't promise you'll see him in one piece again."

I just nodded my head. "And I'd allow you to as well." After saying that Tsukune looked at me shocked while the girls all left. Turning to Tsukune I whacked him over the head and grabbed his shirt.

"What were you thinking trusting Gin like that?! Plus why didn't you recognize were behind the girl's locker room?!" Tsukune then got on his knees and started bowing to me for forgiveness. In which I only slapped my face in exasperation. "Alright enough with that. At this point I say it's fairly safe to assume that Gin is the peeper and was using you as the scape goat."

Tsukune got up and looked at me worriedly. "What are we going to do about him?"

I got into a thinking pose before answering him. "Well at this point I think it would be safe to assume that Gin is a werewolf. I would like to confront him tonight but it's a full moon. You see they're at their strongest during a full moon. Although you would know that if you actually studied up on monsters like you're supposed to!"

He quickly held up his hands. "Okay, okay! I'll start as soon as this crisis is over."

I folded my arms while narrowing my eyes at him. "You better or else I'll just have to force you." He just nodded his head, the three of us then turned our heads towards the sounds of footsteps coming towards us.

I turned to see Mizore, Kurumu, and Yukari all running towards us. Worried I called out to them. "Hey is everything all right?!"

They nodded their heads while turning towards Tsukune while Kurumu spoke to him. "Gin just told us that you peeked on the girls locker room and even showed us a picture of you doing it. So is it true that you're actually the pervert? Because if you are I'm still fine with it."

Once again I slapped my forehead. Freaking succubi! "No he didn't Gin tricked the idiot into it so in truth Gin was the peeper. A real shocker there, however he's a werewolf so confronting him tonight might not be the best idea."

Yukari grabbed her hat with a panicked expression on her face. "Crap! We left Moka and Gin alone together!"

I grimaced when she said that. "Well isn't that just grand. I really didn't want to fight him at the moment but it seems I have little choice now. Where did you leave them?"

Hello my name is line break!

We ended up running all the way to the top of the school where we saw Gin trying to force himself on Moka.

Growling I yelled at him. "I would suggest that you stop that Gin!" Surprised he turned to us while Moka ran behind Tsukune, apologizing for believing Gin.

Gin however just smirked. More than likely basking in the power he got from the moon. "I'll be honest I would have rather have not had to have fought you tonight. But if I have to beat you all to make Moka my woman than I guess I'll just need to get my hands dirty."

I narrowed my eyes at him while clenching my fist. I slowly walked forward until I was a few meters away from him. As if responding to my anger black lightning danced around me in small bursts.

"You know Gin I would've left you unharmed if you simply didn't try anything. But now I'll just have to send you running with your tail between your legs."

He laughed a bit. "Well aren't you clever you figured out what I was. You however are an interesting one. Getting special permission from the headmaster to wear your outfit, getting permission to go on jobs, and now your younger sister has shown up as well. Although you two smell nothing alike. In fact she smells like a cat while you smell like you're covered in blood, while at the same time smell like nothing." He shook his head while shrugging his shoulders. "You truly are a mystery. However during the full moon we werewolves are strong enough to take on vampires. So… What chance do you think you have?"

I smiled at him while chuckling. "Well that's an easy question to answer. You see I have a chance because I'm quite easily stronger than most vampires. I can prove it to you now if you want?"

He narrowed his eyes at me before laughing. That was when he took on his true form a bipedal wolf with dark fur and sharp claws. "Well then let's see if you can keep up with me then? After all while vampires are known for their strength we werewolves are known for our speed!" With that said he ran at me, the others couldn't see him and so with confidence he attacked me from the side. However unlike the others I could still follow him, and more importantly keep up. He ran at me from my right side and tried to claw me. However I just took a step back making him miss. Surprised by the failed attack he wasn't able to block my punch to his face. This sent him bouncing on the ground until he skidded to a stop. Groaning in some pain Gin stood back up rubbing his jaw.

He growled at me as I took a fighting stance waiting for him to come at me. "How can you keep up with me?! That should be impossible!"

I just scoffed at him. "Impossible only means someone's not managed to do it… Yet. And besides my speed is just equal to yours. I wonder though are you equal to my strength?" Gin howled at me before charging once more. However this time he wasn't caught off guard by my speed. I quickly noticed that even without the speed advantage that he was in fact a rather skilled fighter. The fight was actually kind of fun but I knew I needed to beat him down. Catching his left wrist I activated my black lightning and sent arcs of electricity through him. Howling out in pain he struggled to get free of my grip. Eventually I had to let him go as he tried to kick me away. I dodged it and smirked at his pained form.

"Well now I suggest you give up you seem rather beat as it is."

He growled at me before answering. "No I won't give up until Moka is mine!"

Kurumu spoke up at that. "Wow just because you can't have her you decide to kill her friends? Man you have issues."

At that I turned to her with an are you serious look. "Um… Kurono didn't you do try to do the same thing only with Aono?"

She gained a flustered look when I said that. "Hey I said I was sorry! Can't you just let that go? Besides you pretty much broke all my bones during that fight."

I rolled my eyes before turning to gin. "Well ignoring Ms. kettle calling pot black let's get back to our fight." Kurumu yelled out when I said that but I decided to ignore her.

Gin seemed to adopt a thinking look on his face before sighing. "All right then let's get back to it. I'll tell you this though if you beat me I won't try this again deal?"

I smirked but still answered him. "There's no if about it but yes we have a deal."

He snorted at my answer, but didn't say anything. Getting ready to fight we waited to see who would move first. Smiling I decided to test the extent of my new power of electricity. Taking a breath I focused and made it so black lightning started to dance around me. Everyone exclaimed out in surprise at my power. Gin however looked even more wary of me than before. Everyone knew I had some control over electricity but didn't know as to what extent. Before Gin to react I blinked in front of him and aimed a punch at his sternum. By instinct he managed to back up from my punch. He then threw one of his own at me only with his claws extended outwards and towards my face. Ducking slightly I used my left hand to brush his attack to the side while punching upwards with my right hand. I managed to punch him in the jaw knocking him slightly in the air.

And before he could land I sent a spinning kick at him sending him towards the railing in which he collided with. However I wasn't done yet, blinking over to him again I aimed a kick at his down form. He was able to barely roll out of the way before swiping at me with his right claws. I managed to dodge the attack and retaliated with a round house kick. This time he wasn't able to move out of the way and the strength of my kick knocked back into the railings. This dented them even further, however that last attack confused me. It was slower than his previous ones, apparently Gin noticed as well. Realizing the same thing at the same time we looked up. The moon was currently covered by clouds.

Gin exclaimed in panic. "No without the moon I don't stand a chance!" I took that as my cue to finish the fight. So running up to him I punched him in the chest making him cough out some spit, then I turned around a quickly gave him a side kick. This made him break through the railing and fall to the ground before ending the fight. Normally if he was human I would check to make sure he was okay. But seeing how he was a S class monster I decided he'd be just fine. Turning back to the others both Shirone and Mizore ran up to me and gave me a hug all the while asking if I was hurt or okay.

I just laughed before assuring them I was fine. I then turned to the others. "So I think I know what to do tomorrow during club."

They looked at me confused while Moka asked me what I meant. In return I just smirked at them.

Hello my name is line break!

Two days later we were all handing out our first newspaper. "Come on everyone read the first edition of the new Yokai academy newspaper!" I was rather enjoying myself at the moment.

Kurumu was also getting into it. "The peepers identity has been found come read all about it!" Unsurprisingly the paper was selling like hot cakes. Mostly to the female population however. Hearing something we all turned around to see Gin in bandages running away from a mob of angry women. Looking at each other we just laughed. Yeah life was going great, and tomorrow I would finally go on my first date with Mizore. And if you know me I already have everything planned out. Yep things were finally looking up for me. Now if only I knew about the challenges ahead of me, then maybe I would've prepared a bit more.

"ARGHH!" Turning around we all saw Gin be finally captured by the mob and started to be beaten by them. I guess at this moment I deserved a little break though.

Accidental meet up

After the whole thing with Gin was over we all went our separate ways to get ready for bed. Tonight Shirone went to sleep in Mizore's room so she could help her out tomorrow for our date. I can only grin at that, I was finally going out with the girl I've like since the beginning of school. Opening up the door to my room I immediately froze when I saw someone in there wearing a black ragged cloak.

Narrowing my eyes I yelled at him. "Hey! What do you think you're doing in here?!" Startled he turned to face me, I couldn't see his face because his hood was up but I could see two yellow eyes.

He cleared his throat before answering me. "Hello there Zachary Tanner I'm here to tell you a few things and make you a few offers."

I just gave him a deadpan stare. "Sorry but I think you have the wrong guy."

He seemed to deflate at that. "Oh wow really?"

I just nodded my head. "Yeah I'm Hunter Infinium Voidwalker, mercenary, and Beast hunter."

He rubbed the back of his head. "Wow I am really sorry about this. You see I'm Shadow and I'm a Darkwraith. I was originally sent to talk to Zachary while he was in school to tell him a few things but… It seems as though I was sent to the wrong place. Please forgive me." He bowed after that.

Sighing I answered him. "Don't worry about it just try not to do this again." He stopped bowing before adopting a thinking pose.

"Let's see there must be something to make up for this."

I tried waving him off. "No that won't be necessary."

He just shook his head. "No I truly insist." After a bit more thinking he snapped his fingers. "Ah ha! I got it." Pulling out a bad from nowhere he started digging around in it. Curious I watched until he pulled out a blue revolver. It looked like a sharpshooters revolver with the long barrel and small scope on top. However it had some sort of device underneath the barrel. It also looked like it held five shots, but the bullets looked huge.

"Here we are this is a Jacobs electric revolver from the planet Pandora. The bullets are .60mm and the small rectangular device underneath electrifies the bullets. The scope is also detachable. The barrel is also made to be extremely accurate. It was also designed to reduce kick back." After describing me the gun he tossed it to me.

I looked at him with my eyebrow raised. "And you're just giving it to me over a misunderstanding?"

Shadow ended up waving me off. "Oh don't worry I can easily get another. But for now it was nice to meet you and sorry for bothering you." After saying that he was engulfed in a wave of darkness. When it disappeared so too did the Darkwraith. Still confused I put the pistol in my hand to get a grip on it. Smirking I had to say it felt just right in my hands.

Slayer: And finally we're done with the first part of the story! As such we'll start to deviate even more from canon.

Mizore: So next time we're going on a date eh?

Slayer: Yep I've been working on it to. Hopefully it'll be better than the one I made for Zach and Blake in the TOTDG 2.

Shadow: Yeah it wasn't all that great… But at least you tired anyway. Also I'm quite ecstatic that you let me into the omake here!

Slayer: Yeah it was about time to introduce the behind the scenes man in this story.

Gin: Didn't you base that pistol off of one from Borderlands though?

Slayer: Yes, yes I did.

Gin: Pretty gutsy right there.

Slayer: Meh the whole concept of my stories are pretty gutsy. I mean a huge crossover that crosses over with different crossovers while crossing over with itself? Now that is strange in of itself.

Shadow: I think you just over complicated it a bit. Also why is your house exploded again?

Slayer: Uhh… You see I started another story with fallout and Rwby. And let's just say the Courier and Yang blew it up… Again…

Shadow: Huh… Anyway let's wrap this up.
