"I am Iroh, Dragon of the West, and I am here to teach you many, different ways you can take care of yourself." He smiled as we all sat with our legs crossed on the floor. As he spoke his voice was gentle yet commanding, strong yet full of love. When we had walked into the classroom, a dojo of sorts, he was standing in the center, with his hands placed firmly together only to break as he gestured us to sit down on the provided mats. Both Jules and I had sat next to each other, Jules smiling at me, already beaming with excitement.

"As this comes to no surprise, High School can be challenging. It is in this that we must focus the negative energy that surrounds us in this troubling era of our lives into something grander. Take the spider for example, it is feared by many and is quite aware of the dangers that may come if it chose to revel itself to its despisers. However, the spider continues to spin its web in spite. Why?" Iroh, now gracefully sitting, looks outward toward his students, making eye contact with many of us in the room, myself included. We were all trying to answer the question in our minds and he could see this, and he was quite pleased. "The spider" he continues "does this because it knows that the web it can create will be beautiful, surpass any fear that may cross its way, that its web will be the best expression of itself that it can produce."

"I am going to teach you the many different ways to take care of yourself. This goes way deeper then taking care of your body, you have to take care of your mind, your spirit and your soul as well." A boy with a burn on the left side of his face scoffed. Iroh smiled at the boy. "This is my nephew, and student Aid: Zuko. He will be helping me teach my class"

"Hello." The boy said shorty and looked away, it looked like he did not want the attention on him very long.

"Well first we will start with a no-brainer:Tea!" Iroh stood and brought everyone tea. "Tea is good for the body, improves the mind, frees the spirit! And of course the soul loves tea!" he chuckled at this. His laugh was so heart melting that it mattered not at what he was laughing at.

"I love Iroh, he is so kind and heartwarming, he reminds me so much of my father" Jules said to me ecstatically as we were heading out to our next class.

I nodded in agreement and started to grin at the laid-back air of this man. He was very pleasant to be around. I like this teacher very much, even if his aid was rather vexing.

"I am Steve Rogers, also known as Captain America. Welcome to Emergency Situation Training." He looked around, currently he was wearing everyday clothes, which made me wonder where his suit was. Literally the most casually dressed teacher in the whole school, I mused. "Now let's split you into groups, go ahead and chose a person to be partnered with."

I stopped listening and I saw Ben waving at me frantically, I glanced over and he mimicked some motions that probably meant. "Want to be partners?" but really looked like: "Can I walk my T-Rex in your beautiful stained cake house?" I nodded, not really caring about who my partner is.

(A.N. Feel free to complete this exercise yourself, and maybe tell me what you did in the reviews?)

"Ok, you have one match, a stick, and a useless broken pocket knife. A monster of some unknown origin is chasing you and you can't out run it, and I don't care how fast you think you are, this guy is faster. You can hear it's claws raking the ground behind you, you can hear the whistle it's breath makes though it's fangs. You fall, and your shoe is trapped in the log you fell over. What do you do. You have a solid Five minutes to think of what you would do, then we will all come up to the front and explain, in detail what you would do." Rogers sat down. "I would turn into an alien, pure and simple," I rolled my eyes at Ben.

"Wow, I'm sure you really get the point of this class." I joked. "Like thats even possible anyway." He glared at me.

"Will you help me with something? You might not like it…" Ben frowned.

"What is it?"

"Well… I can't tell you," He grimaced.

"I'm so confused."

"Please just help me out." He begged.

"Fine... but if anything happens I'm ditching." I said cautiously.

"Fair enough, I'll text you later." Ben hushed up as Rogers coughed and gave up a look that told us to keep quiet.

Suddenly, It was five minutes later and it our turn to stand up in class. "Um," We hadn't thought about it at all. "I would wrap part of my shirt around the stick while it jumps overhead, and when It tried to come in for the kill I would strike the match against the tree bark and light the stick on fire, If I'm lucky, I will scare it away."

"That will only work if you can tie the knot fast enough." Rogers nodded. "But not bad."

"That went alarmingly well," I breathed.

"Well that's probably because that's the only thing said so far that has a chance of working." Ben replied quietly.

"Well sure…"I trailed off after catching a warning glance from Rogers.

A great class lead by a great teacher that questions my ability to stay quiet.

During lunch, There were sigh ups for a bunch of clubs. Electronics club, Gardening Club, Movie Club, Queer Club, Theater club, Culinary Club, Anime club and more. There were also sports sign ups. I listed my name for Track, and after a silent debate with myself, Electronics club. I loved to run, it was so freeing I always felt like I was going to fly. And as for electronics club, I thought it was a good idea to try something new. Just in case though I listed my name under gardening club as well. Might as well keep myself busy.

I grabbed Sushi and rice before sitting next to Jules and Carrie in the Underwater room. It was quite beautiful. "So why are you hanging around that Ben guy so much? Do you have a thing for him?" Jules winked and bumped my shoulder.

"If that happens, kill me." I laughed. "I'm not into anyone honestly."

"I don't get why you'd like a boy, boys are gross." A small female lion cub named Nala sat at Carrie's feet. And yes, she can speak.

"She's not wrong." Carrie smiled, biting into her pizza.

An elephant with a small yellow hat, named Dumbo, sat on the floor next to Jules. He made a slightly unhappy snorting sound, being a guy he was slightly insulted.

"Don't worry, Dumbo, we meant human boys." Jules hugged the adorable elephant. Suddenly the yellow hat floated upwards, and flipped upside down before turning into Morph.

"Human boys." Morph turned into a little Jules.

"So did you guys sign up for any clubs?" I rolled my eyes and Morph chow down on my rice.

"I'm in the Vet Club." Carrie replied interested. "I'll get to work with all the animals on campus!"

"That's great Carrie! I am definitely joining the Queer Club," Jules started out affirmatively, "however I'm still considering others. Possibly, I mean, I don't know, …I'm thinking about joining the Theater club." Jules smiled nervously widely.

"Do it!" I encouraged. Morph burped and I found most of my food had disappeared. "Morph!" Morph looked at my sheepishly. Everyone started giggling at the pink blob, I grinned a bit too. That damn blob.

"Welcome to class I'm The Doctor, and this is my Aid Clara… " A red headed girl came in the classroom a bit late. "Oh, and this is Amy, my other Aid" The Doctor continued to smile at all of us as if nothing happened. "History is an important and fascinating subject!" The Doctor started. I tuned out after 'fascinating and started to look around.

I sat next to a guy named Jesse, who had spike black hair that cover his blue eyes, a black tee-shirt with a skull, black jeans and black ankle high converse like my own.

"I can't believe she would do something like that," Chase sat with Bree, Leo, and Adam. I was curious about who they were referring to. "Skyler doesn't just walk off from people like that," I suddenly felt disinterested.

"Well, you saw how she treated Danny," My anger flared and then went out. Thanks for talking about me behind my back.

Jesse leaned over his desk to talk to me. "You look bored,"

"I am bored, and I'm not in the best of moods ether," I warned.

"Why?"

"Because." I rolled my eyes and looked away.

"Are you still hungry, too?" Jesse asked and I slowly turned to face him. Was he an idiot?

"..." I paused "Yeah... sure."

"Saaaame" He grinned and took out a sandwich, within seconds it was gone. "I don't understand history." He remarked.

"Cool?" I raised an eyebrow at the strange boy.

"I'm your friend now." He said simply.

"What?" I raised an eyebrow.

"I'm your friend now. So now you have to buy me food." Jesse grinned.

"Hahaha." I laughed. "Well... sure..." I guess it was nice to have an new friend.

The teacher was great, but some of the student aids in this class were weird.

A giant purple alien man with a Russian accent in a lab coat stood in front of the class and smiled, his four eye crinkled a bit. "I am Doctor Jumba Jookiba, and this is my AID Pleakley."

"AID? I believe you mean Assistant Teacher. Thank you very much!" A tall and skinny Green alien with an antena and three legs put his hands on his hips and replied.

"Fine. This is my Assistant Teacher, Pleakley. And we will be teaching you young minds the science of Chemistry!" Jumba raised his arms dramatically when he said 'chemistry'. "And we will be using it... TO BLOW THINGS UP!" The class cheered.

"WAIT WHAT?!" Pleakley exclaimed.

"Grab the two vials at your table, mix them together and stand back with your lab partner! Be quick! I don't want anyone to have to go to the school nurse!" Jumbo smiled and gave us free reign.

"I'm Rex." My lab partner grinned. He wore a red jacket, and orange goggles.

"Skyler." I smiled back.

"I'll pour the orange if you pour the purple." He grabbed the orange.

"Deal!" Together we poured the mix in and backed away. A loud explosion rocked the table and created a red mini-mushroom cloud. Pleakley screamed and grabbed the fire extinguisher, despite there being not fire, he used it on all the students that completed the experiment. Rex and I were covered foam. "What an Interesting school." I joked.

"Agreed." I think Rex grinned.

That's what the entire class was like. Blowing this up and Pleakley having panic attacks.

I walked into Electronics Club and sat down. "Hi Skyler! How was your day?" Bree sat down next to me.

"Interesting..." I flashed a smile.

"Any guy seem to stick out to you?" She asked excitedly. She must not get much girl talk.

"Not really." I shrugged. "But I'll tell ya if someone strikes me as cute." I winked.

"Strikes me as cute." Morph echoed promising to tell Bree my love life even if I, myself, don't.

My lab partner Rex sat down on my other side. "It's so weird not knowing anyone. Can I sit here?"

"Well you already are." I rolled my eyes playfully.

"Ok be honest, how many of you actually know about Electronics, and I don't mean 'Hey look at me I can fix my TV and computer, oh look, I can create a IPhone charger from a potato and some wire' I mean the hardcore stuff, like building the super computer's Russia used to have?" Tony Stark, being the Teacher Overveiw for the Electronics Club asked. No one raised a hand.

"Well, I'm not going to give you the basics... believe me you'll figure it out as you go... hopefully. Anyway, we are going to jump right into the hard stuff, and the only thing I can say is… hold on, really." Stark gave us a run through of the wirey... roboticy... club lesson. However, despite being confused, I created a phone out of a paperclip and a 9 Watt battery, some gum, and bobby pin. Not bad for my first lesson in electronics.

"Welcome to Track Try outs," Couch Phil grumbled. "It's easy, first ten people across the finish line make the team, the rest go home, NOW EVERYONE LINE UP!"

"Well someone's a big ball of fluff this evening, " I was the only girl trying out, but that just made me even more determined.

"Yeah no kidding," a guy around my age with snow white hair that was slicked back, well most of it, two little strips of hair that almost looked like wings stuck out, and he had deep blue eyes."Oh and just in case you're wondering, name's Quicksilver, and yes, I am free tonight." He wiggled his eyebrows

"I'm Skyler," I held out my hand. He shook it.

"Yikes, ok, ok, don't let your horns out, we're coming," My comment got a glare that would make most people shut up instantly, I am not one of those people. "Ok, ok, I'm sorry," He never softened the glare, which just convinced me the he like me.

"Now that you're all he-"

"Goat-man! Love your work!" Quicksliver sped up to the spot next to me. He wiggled his eyebrows at me again.

"I swear, if you wiggle your eyebrows at me one more time, I will shave them off while you are sleeping," He raised his hands in mock surrender. "Good boy,"

"Oh for Pete's sake can I just start this thing already!" Couch Phil sighed. "OK READY SET G-"

"WAIT!" I yelled suddenly.

"WHAT?! WHAT COULD IT POSSIBLY BE NOW?!" He yelled.

"Nothing, I just wondered what you would do," I said. Actually, Quicksilver did, I could see it in his eyes. He gave me a sideways glance and smiled.

"READYSETGO!" Couch Phil said it like it was one word. "On your left," Quicksilver had already made it to the end, passing me backwards as I pasted the first turn.

"Don't say it," I said as I saw him pass me again, I ran faster, passing two more people.

"On your left!" He turned and completed another lap, backwards. I passed the finish line.

"Third, not bad... for a slowpoke." Quicksliver smirked.

"Whatever, roadrunner." I caught my breath and glared. "How that hell are you so fast?"

"Huh, you're even pretty when your angry." He grinned as I blushed.

"S-Shut up!" I hissed and stomped away. "That idiot is so cocky!"

"That idiot is so cocky!" Morph mimicked. He turned into Quicksilver and mimicked him run into a wall.

"Morph!" I said grinning. "That's not nice!" The pink blob of cuteness grinned back and sat on my head.

"Congratulations on making the team!" Quicksilver yelled as he pasted me on the way to the boys locker room.

"THIS IS INSANE!" I whispered "If I get caught I'm doomed! I might have stood up to a teacher and got away with it, but I'm pretty sure my luck isn't going to be 2 for 2, Ben"

"Please! All you have to do is make sure no one is coming!" He looked pleadingly at me, and said the two words that were my ultimate weakness, the words that I will never be able to refuse "Help me?"

I sighed "Fine, just be quick okay?" He took of down the halls, with his new animal sidekick Simba. Another talking baby lion cub.

"Come on, Morph!" Tearing through the halls, I was glad to see I had a pet as fast as I was, or faster. We passed Ben in no time and Morph blew a raspberry at him. I couldn't help but smile. "Nice one, Morph!" I turned sharply down Ben's hall, and had to jump to slow down, after sliding fifteen feet, I stopped, and stood right in front of a door. Next to me Morph made a noise kind of like a laugh, and I joined in just as the wave of exhaustion hit and the laugh became choked and turned into a weird wheezing sound. Ben and Marvin ran down the hall, looking just as wind blown as I felt. "Ready?" I asked, my voice cracked slightly at the end but I showed no other sign of being tired.

"J-Jus-Just...Give... Give... M-Me... A sec" Ben doubled over for another ten seconds, then leaned against the wall. "How? H-How did you do that?"

"Easy, I just moved my legs in a walking motion, but then I sped up, and soon I did this brand new thing called running" I took a silent deep breath, and everything was calm and normal again, my lungs no longer hurt and my heart was at its usual beat.

"Are you sure you are human?" Usually, i would take this as a joke, but coming from him...

"Nope, in fact I think I'm a Martian, don't you?" He looked at me strangely "Yes, I'm human" the look hadn't left, but it was hidden as he unlocked the door.

"Stay here"

"Yup, cuz I was planning on going in with you, even though A. This is the guy's dorms, and B. A look out is supposed to wait outside"

"Just stay out here" he didn't even smile, or glare. I'm not sure which made me more concerned.

"Yeah, ok." I leaned against the wall, suddenly serious.

He went inside, and true to my word, I stood outside and didn't wonder around, once I knocked when on of the janitors, came around the corner, and dove behind a tall plant. In the corner of my eye I saw the door opening. I slammed my hand into the corner of the door, and yes, it hurt, a lot. I could only hope Ben got the message, because I am not slamming the side of my hand into a door again. I was surprised the didn't see me, as he passed but he just walked passed and went hurriedly into one of the many rooms in the hallway. I knocked again.

"Thanks." He slipped something into his pocket.

"Listen, I'm late for my shift in the Library." I started backing away.

"Yeah, sorry I took so long. Thanks for the help." Ben nodded. I ran all the way downstairs, and puffed all the way to the large library doors.

"Hey, Kid! You're late!" A Scottish accent greeted me. Turning to the large oak desk, I saw a girl that was in her 20's she had long red hair and I recognized her as the Aid for -tie's class-Amy.

"Um…" I stood there not sure what to say.

"Skyler! It's about time you got here, with that thing I needed," A boy my age (Or older) jumped beside me, he had black hair that was slicked up to resemble an ice cream cone, a black t-shirt with a lightning bolt, a black jacket and brown eyes, which at the time were giving me a look that said to go with it.

"Sorry there was a… line…" I said, not really sure how to respond.

"Well, I guess me and Skyler will just go back to sorting books, Bye Amy!" He led me passed two book shelves and gestured for me to follow him, and because I was curious… I did. When we were a good distance away, he stopped. "You can't be this late again, Amy is super strict on that rule," He held out his hand. "Wilbur Robinson,"

"Skyler Paige," I replied and shook it. "But you already knew that…" I wanted to ask why, but after everything… I could guess. "Thanks by the way," He nodded, then started walking away. After hesitating, I joined him. "So, I have no clue what I'm supposed to do… mind helping find something?"

"Well…" He seemed to think for a second before replying: "Come with me," I had no choice, considering he grabbed my wrist and took me through the maze of bookshelves, when we reached a desk piled with what looked like thousands of books piled ether on or around it, he held out his hands. "Tada!" grabbing a stamp and ink pad he put them in my hands and started to walk away.

"This is supposed to be your job, isn't it?" I deadpanned and asked, already knowing the answer.

"Yup, but I helped you twice now, so you owe me, big time," He put on a pair of sunglasses and walked away.

"No, I owe you this," I muttered and kicked the desk lightly, sighing I started on the pile closest to me.

I was surrounded by two piles, stamped and not-stamped. The stamped pile was bigger by far, but then, I had been here for hours, and only had two books left. Stamp. One more. Stamp. Done. Slapping it shut, I stood and walked the maze of bookshelves. I didn't see Wilbur, or Amy, or anyone, but then again, it was 12 AM.

I made my way through the halls and up the stairs to my floor when the dorms on the floor started to shake and the room next to mine blew up in a sudden explosion. All my dorm mates practically flew out the door, as did their pets. I left them behind in the hall as three people covered in soot and looking terrified ran out the room. My curiosity won over the thought of danger and I entered the smoldering room, something brushed my shoulder and I looked down to see Morph. In the center of the room was a boy, he had short brunette hair and blue green eyes. He was curled up and shaking. "Um... hello?" I i tilted my head at the frightened boy.

"GO AWAY!" He yelled and his arm suddenly lite on fire.

"My name is Skyler" I smiled.

"Go away." He looked up and glared.

"What's yours?" I grinned.

"Tyrus. Now leave!" He looked worried.

"Why? I don't think you'll hurt me." I remarked.

"I just blew up!" He screamed angrily.

"It happens" I shrugged. Honestly my heart was beating incredibly fast, I had no idea what I was doing or why I was still here. Her arm is on fire! Mr. Bow-Tie, and Sherlock had already gathered in the doorway.

"You think so?" Tyrus asked sarcastically and rolled his eyes. The flames extinguished.

"Come on. Why don't you stand up?" I crossed my arms.

He frowned and stood. "Whatever."

"It was a pleasure meeting you too." I grinned and held out my hand. Tyrus shook it, his hand was hot.

"Whatever, Skyler." But he smiled a bit.

Tyrus and I walked out together. Mr. Bow-Tie smiled at me, meanwhile Sherlock looked like he wanted to interrogate me. "Well, I'll be heading to bed then." I smiled. and quickly dived into my room.

"That guys arm was on fire!" I exclaimed. My room mates looked at each other doubtfully. "Am I missing something?" I asked.

"Didn't you read the brochure?" Ani asked. I shook my head.

"A lot of the time students here get special abilities." Carrie shrugged. "The forest just kinda... grants them to people."

"So everyone gets super powers?" I asked excited.

"Not everyone, but a lot of people." Carrie smiled. "And not everyone gets their powers from the forest. Some people are just in the right place at the right time, and they enroll here to use their power without causing a panic, like your friend Ben."

"Ben!?"I practically screamed. "HE has powers?!"

"You didn't know?" Jules tilted her head.

"No!" I face palmed.

"Your friend is Ben 10." Ani put it simply.

"The alien kid!?" I was shocked.

"He's a teenager now, but yes, the 'alien kid'" Ani stated stoically.

"So... Tyrus just had no power over his... Powers..." I asked.

"I know, I feel bad." Carrie said nodding. "But we can't do anything."

Jules sighed. "We better get to bed."
