SUBCONSCIOUS

An unknown amount of time has passed since the eds have been taken from their world, as they find themselves flowing around in a dream

"What's this"? Double d wondered as he and his awaken

"Oh what hit me"? A head aching Eddy asked

"Ah ha ha ha!" Ed is flying"! Said a happy Ed

Suddenly three glowing owls appeared out of no where

"Oh my"! Double d spoke in shock

"What the?" Eddy wondered

"Chickens!" Ed shouted

"Those aren't chicken lumpy!" They're owls". Eddy irately said

"But why are they here?" Double D wondered

The owls began to fly away as a light spread from behind

"Come back chickens!" Ed cried as he chases the owls

"For the last time monobrow..They're owl!" Eddy yelled while chasing the oaf

As the two set off Double d wondered if the owls really wanted him & his friends to follow them for a reason & possibly share a connection to them.

There was only one to find out for sure if they really want to figure out the answer

"Wait for me fellows!" He shouted as he chased after them

White area

(groan)

While getting up from following the mysterious owls. The eds find themselves in an unknown world filled in an area filled with nothing but white around them until they see a few things around that appears before them: A big shade Tree(not like any tree at all.) that looked like an Ulmus American. Large mountains very far from where they're standing. And the last but not least was a house(not like an abandon house,castle,manor,tower that is messy,damage,) enough to fit more than three.

"My oh my."Awed Double D while looking around the area."How entreating. A house like this stranded in the middle of an unknown land must be over a thousand years old! Its a discovery of all discoveries!"

Eddy lowered his eyebrows of why an old house sees interest for his hat friend,while ed just stood speechless of seeing that house reminds of his monster films and yes of course the abandoned house set up by the kankers when they used it as a marriage ceremony for them and the eds that time. And boy was it terrifying(marrying the kankers and being their horse ride as well as being laughed by the cul-de-sac kids) However he didn't so excited one bit. Not because the house was empty, but the area itself wasn't any dark at all, and yet it still feels chilly around. But why show a house with a bright area with nothing around them. What was the reason, that they were brought. Until..

"Welcome chosen ones." A voice out of nowhere said as the eds turned around to see no one at all, thinking its all in their heads like being messed up by a ghost of voices that's playing with them

"Who said that?!" A freaked out eddy shouted while spinning around a bit

"Whoever you are, i demand you show yourself this instant!" Double D shouted "This is no joking matter!"

Ed on the hand just smiled as he wondered if the voice was from one of his monster stuff(movies,figures,comics you name it) while sticking his tongue around his head thinking which one of his collection was.

"Are you the voice of the shadows from the netherworld?" He stupidly ask "Or the lost space men from ROBOT REBEL RANCH!"

"No lumpy that's not who it is." Eddy irately replied "It's not even close!"

"I have to agree with Eddy on that one Ed. Double D said "However the voice sounded so familiar like it was from...the ship we awoken back in the cul-de-sac.

"Right you are." The voice spoke once more but this time it appeared as a glowing spirit

"Greetings to you chosen ones. I apologize for my rude awaking of taking you away from your world. But now that im awoken..he has found me."

The Eds blinked in confusion wondering what the glowing individual is saying as they looked at each other wondering of who it is he's talking about.

"Apologies my dear sir, but who are you talking about? Double D asked with a curious look "Who has returned?"

The mysterious spirit gave a frown as he lowered his head

"What im about to tell you is something you must hear out as well as understanding it. For the fate of all worlds including yours has only not just begun but how it all started along time ago...

Story

"Many eons ago, before your time came, there was peace in the universe, until..He happened. The one who brought nothing but Chaos, Destruction, Pain, Suffering, you name it. He was none other than...THE EMPIRE KING!" The Spirit shouted as he shows a image of the evil lord himself(Revealed in the first chapter)

The eds were in shocked and horrified as they watched more scenes of people getting slaughter, attacked by monsters, destroyed cites and homes, planets destroyed one after another, and the Empire king himself sitting (like Abraham Lincoln's memorial statue) smiling as he enjoys his domination. However as he smiled a image of mysterious individuals (covered in shadow but looked exactly as grown up versions of the eds along with other shadow individuals)

"As all hope seemed lost in his behalf, until they came that faithful day...A group of noble heroes appeared out of nowhere annihilated his monsters, saved the people, they even defeated the empire king and sealed him away into the far depth to another realm. They were unlike any other who bravely fought the mad tyrant himself. They were known as..."

Story end

"They were who?" A curious Eddy asked while the spirit turned away from them "Who were they? And what was their purpose of wiping out this empire guy after they shove him off to another what'cha ma call it?"

"Im afraid that's all i can go do far."

"What!?" Double D shouted . "But why!? Why wont you reveal the names of the ones who defeated the empire king?" As the spirit turned to them with a frown depression of why he wont say anymore of the legendary heroes

"That is something You must figure out yourselves." He replied " To find the answer, you must travel to the great temple, where they once used it as hideout during their time against the empire king. I will guide you there, when you wake up at your current state."

The eds looked at each other wondering if what he says is true then they have no other choice but to accept the task ahead if they ever wish to return home..if they can that is as they looked at the spirit to give him their answer. "All right its been decided that we will accept this task to find the temple of these heroes you mentioned early about, as well as finding out more about this empire king guy and taking him done and then getting us a way back home too." Eddy spoke with an agreement expression as well as a curious one

The spirit lowered his head knowing its not really easy for him to say to them."I cannot promise you that." He sadly replied which shockins the eds."For there will be a price to pay till the very end..of your lives.

Hearing what he said paled the eds as they felt goosebumps and wonder what he meant by from his last message

"I know you all feel confused, but im afraid that is all i can give you. But for now it is time for you to be awaken and begin your journey. The spirit finished as he lifts his hand as it begins to shine at the eds as they covered their eyes while everything turns brightly white as wel as shouting

"Gah!

"Ugh!"

" The lights are so pretty guys(laugh)
