Epilogue

"Maka! Maka!" Maka awoke to hear Soul standing above her bed screaming at her

"Huh?" Maka looked down at herself to find music sheets spread over her bed and the book The Phantom of the Opera face down.

"Geez it's like someone barfed music sheets in here." Soul muttered with a chuckle.

"I must have fallen asleep reading." Maka said rubbing her eyes.

"Not surprising." Soul smiled.

"What are you doing with these music sheets anyways?" Soul asked raising an eyebrow.

"Oh uh.." Maka blushed "I thought if i could learn to read them I could help you get back into piano. Unfortunately for me Phantom of the Opera is a lot harder than i thought." Maka smiled while Soul blushed and looked away.

"Geez Maka I don't need you looking out for me like that ok."

"I am your meister! I need to look out for you! Idiot."

"Yeah well we're going to be late if you don't hurry your butt up." Maka tilted her head and gasped at the time. " Oh my god Soul! Why didn't you wake me sooner!" Maka grabbed the book and the music sheets and ran to the bathroom to get dressed.

...

As Maka and Soul were walking up the stairs Kid, Liz, and Patty caught up to them.

"Hello Maka. Soul." Kid stated as he walked next to them. Liz and Patty smiled.

"Hey guys." Maka smiled as they walked Kid noticed the book in her hands. "You are into the Phantom as well?" He raised his eyebrow at her.

Maka blushed "oh! I uh... well yes you could say. The story is kind of tragic though."

"Oh I know... I always find myself wanting to side with the Phantom but the logical side of myself, sees the perfect Raoul as the right lover for christine."

"Really!? Huh I guess you're right." Maka smiled. As they talked, Soul noticed he had been left behind

"You and I should discuss this more after Stein's class, Liz and Patty don't seem to like plays." Kid blushed.

"Neither does Soul or at least he pretends not to." Maka frowned.

"Excellent!" Kid smiled.

"Wait! Are you two forgetting something!?"

Maka and Kid turned around and looked at Soul, Liz and Patty. "What!?" they both muttered.

Soul sighed. "At least the Phantom has talent. Not just money."

Kid frowned. " In a logical perfect world, one must have looks and money not just talent. Idiot."

Maka looked at Liz and Patty and they just shrugged their shoulders. "Come on you two.." Maka said laughing rubbing her hand behind her head.

She stared at the two boys still arguing and saw Soul in a half Mask and a cloak, and Kid in an older suit with his hair slicked back. She blushed and shook her head. "Nah. Man I need to stop reading before bed," she laughed and continued to walk up the stairs.

"Hey! What's so funny! Maka!" Both boys shouted as they scowled at each other. Running to catch up to the girl with the two ponytails.
