Transitionals
Disclaimer: I do not, nor will I ever own Twilight. I have used some sentences directly from the book, I don't own them. They were originally and forever owned by Stephenie Meyer.
This is the first of the outtakes for Transitionals. I've been looking forward to this one for a long time now, and I really hope that you all like it as much as I do.
This outtake is for everyone who reviewed Transitionals.
Outtake: When Anna first sees Rosalie
Anna's POV
Everything is different now, and it will never go back to the way it used to be.
I clutched Auntie's pants leg in my hands, staying as close as I can without tripping her. Auntie can't hold my hand, she has to use both hands to hold onto Cissy's car seat right now. The hallway is too crowded at the moment, making her have to carry Cissy with both hands.
I sighed and tightened my hold so I wouldn't be separated from Auntie Bella. I don't like going to school, but it's the safest place for Cissy, Auntie Bella, and me. The magic from our world keeps us safe in schools. That doesn't mean I have to like it.
Going to school isn't fun. I have to make sure I only behave like a normal three-year-old. I have to talk like a three-year-old, which isn't fun. Normal three-year-olds don't no as many words as I do, and they can't talk as well as me. The difference of living in the other world compared to the Human world. It's sad that I can only really be me, when it's just the three of us and Uncle Charlie.
I scanned the area with my powers, from now on I would have to constantly check for danger. I needed to help Auntie Bella. The big bads couldn't find us here, but Hunters still could, and they are who Uncle Charlie is worried about.
Life was so much simpler beforeā¦
I can't think about that, it's too hard to think about what happened.
Auntie Bella paused trying to get a better hold on Cissy's seat.
Today was going to be a long day, I could tell. We were going to Auntie's next class and it was only the second one, but Auntie was already getting tired. Poor Auntie wasn't used to taking care of Cissy and me. It was easier for her when we were staying with Grandpa's friends, they really helped Auntie learn all that she was going to have to do from now on.
I didn't know auntie's daddy very well, but he was trying to help. Auntie just doesn't know how to let him help.
A gentle breeze swept over me, hugging me tightly. Family? I focused on the feeling but it was leaving quickly.
"Alright Anna, let's try to get to class." Auntie ruffled my curls before grabbing the handle of Cissy's seat again.
As we continued walking I tried to find that feeling again. It was still there but farther away. We passed another hall and the feeling grew. I could tell it was Mommy's family now, I could sense the connection to Grandma and her side of the family.
Since Grandma's family wasn't from the other world, whoever I was feeling wasn't either.
The feeling surged and I looked up trying to find the person I was sensing. It would be nice to find more family.
There she was. I knew it the minute I saw her, but something was wrong. I knew the lady, and I knew for a fact that she had died, my family tree said so.
She paused and glanced our way. Her eyes were dark, not the blue that they were supposed to be, and she didn't look exactly like my picture but I knew it was her. It had to be.
The feeling hit me then as she glanced at Cissy's seat.
Rosalie Hale was a vampire.
She glanced down at me, and I couldn't help the smile that spread across my face. I had another Auntie alive, and even better she was a vampire. She could help Auntie Bella with her transition.
When she smiled back at me, I waved to her. It would take some time, but I would find some way to get Auntie Bella to hang out with my other Auntie. There has to be a way.
If this Auntie was a vampire going to school here, then she must be with the other two we had already met. Three vampires would surely be enough to help Auntie Bella, and Cissy and I would have more family.
We went one way and Rosalie went another, but we'd definitely meet again.
All through the next class while I played and colored, I thought about how to get my two aunties to meet. There had to be a way. Maybe I could get us to bump into her somehow. Maybe I could get Auntie's map and accidentally lose it. Auntie wouldn't believe that I'd lose the map though.
I couldn't come up with any plans just yet. Something would come to me though, and then I would have both of my aunties. I couldn't wait.
Author's Note
So what did you all think of Anna's POV. Did you like it? Did this help any of you better understand Anna; getting to hear her thoughts?
I really hope you all liked this outtake. The next one is going to be from Charlie's POV and (HINT, HINT) there is going to be a small detail hidden very well in the outtake that will be very enlightening. (If you can figure it out) I will not be pointing out the information, and I won't tell if any guesses are correct or not. You all are welcome to guess what it is though.
The outtake is going to be Charlie's POV of the Car ride home where he learns about the traitor.
Until Next week,
