Sierra doesn't know if she can be in a romantic relationship anymore, but maybe she doesn't need romance to heal from the scars of her past. Sometimes family is all you need. The only problem being, she doesn't know if anyone else is still alive.

Hello lovely readers! It's me, Rin, back on my bullshit after little more than 7 years (holy fuck it's been a hot minute). I have come back to rectify my sins. If you have this story on your alerts list, thank you so much! I do not deserve such kindness and dedication but I am grateful for it anyway. In my author bio, I have posted an update about Precious Darkness's future, as well as my other stories' futures. But for those of you who don't have me as an author on your alerts (no worries if you don't! you do whatever you want, boo), I am posting this small Author's Note. For more information, check out my bio! I will be posting similar Notes on my other 2 stories.

I still do not know how many chapters Precious Darkness will have. My main focus is my Angel Beats! fanfic, Death Ain't The Only Ending For Me. After finishing that one by summer's end 2019, I will fully come back to PD. Obviously I will be posting some chapters for this story in the meantime, but I don't know how many I will be able to do. I only hope you will be as patient with me again. How irresponsible I am, still not knowing jack shit about what to do for my stories even after all this time. For that, I humbly ask your forgiveness.

BUT I am planning to work on Precious Darkness through 2020 at the very least. This way, my readers will have a reward after years of waiting. The next chapter will be out by March 16th to give myself some time, since I'm applying to both grad and law school AND writing for my other stories. I will make sure to deliver chapters that overall are longer, have better content, and have better writing quality. I owe my readers that, and I kind of owe myself that too probably. You will be properly rewarded!
