Twilight Fan fiction

Transitionals

Disclaimer: I do not, nor will I ever own Twilight. I have used some sentences directly from the book, I don't own them. They were originally and forever owned by Stephenie Meyer.

After completing Bella's POV of Transitionals, I realized that there were a lot of scenes that I left out. Somewhere implied throughout the story and others were mentioned then never heard from again.

There is one specific grouping of scenes that I purposely kept out. Those are the scenes that are needed to for the story, but came right from the Twilight Series.

For example, when everyone went to La Push to learn about the wolves' histories I didn't rewrite all the information Stephenie Meyer's had in her books.

Another example, the different pasts from the Cullen family. We know their pasts, I'm not changing them from what Stephenie Meyer wrote, and so I'm also not writing it into scenes them telling Bella about them. They are implied that they told her their pasts.

I do this so I don't wind up with so much of the original stories in my fanfictions, which keeps me from getting in trouble with the site.

This scene, I didn't really mean to forget, but where it comes into the story, it was alright not having it.

The chapter for this week is dedicated to the friends I haven't met yet.

Outtake: Jasper and Anna's powers.

Jasper's POV

I glanced up from my reading when I felt Anna's presence. She waited patiently by the open door. I waved her into my study, delighted to see a wide smile spread across her face.

She stopped beside my desk. "What are you doing?"

Smiling, I showed her the book I was reading. "This is a history book, it supposedly tells the history of the time that I used to live in." I chuckled, the book was trash, hardly any of it was factual.

"Somebody getting history wrong again?" Bella asked before knocking on the door post.

I laughed enjoying the emotions coming from Bella. "They don't really get anything right in this book. Anything somewhat true is rather vague."

Bella rolled her eyes. "Isn't that just how it is?"

Our good mood was cut short. Anna wrapped her arms around her middle and a chill went down both of our spines.

I got up from my chair and pulled Anna up into my arms. We had only just started working on all the sensations that she knew, and this was one that she felt often enough.

"Everything alright?" Bella asked worriedly.

I nodded but headed out of my study and to the room Alice and I shared.

Alice watched us enter, through her mirror. She laughed softly. "Edward again?"

I sat Anna down on the bed. "Yep, Anna senses his desperation."

Alice finally turned around. "Emmett must have held him up during his hunt. The poor guy can't stand to be away from Bella."

Bella chuckled dryly. "We're not discussing this again. I've already compromised and this deal works for me."

"I think I'll go see if I can calm him down before he arrives." I knew that Edward was almost to the front steps so I needed to hurry.

Bella reached out to stop me. "He's going to have to learn that he can't worry himself like this, otherwise he'll put off hunting too long. If he decides to do that than…" She raised her right hand and wiggled her ring finger.

Bella wasn't taking any chances and she shouldn't have to. The fact she was trusting us even under the circumstances was humbling. But she was right, if Edward started pushing himself to go longer without feeding he'd be putting not only Bella at risk but the little girls too.

Alice wrapped her arms around one of mine. "Don't worry, Rose will help him see reason."

"Can we get to work now?" Anna sat up on her knees, wobbling slightly as the mattress underneath her moved.

I nodded. "Sure Anna, come on."

Anna eagerly jumped down from the bed and ran out of the room.

"Are you going to go help them Bella, or are you free?" Alice gestured behind her to the closet and bathroom.

I fought back a laugh as Bella filled with dread.

"I uh, I think I'm going to help them." She raced out of the room.

Alice stood on her tiptoes and bent down to give her a quick kiss. "Just give her time Darlin'."

Alice sighed. I knew she didn't like waiting.

I joined Anna and Bella in the dining room. When I had first started working with Anna we had learned that her dad had taught her to sort through her sensations by offering her treats for each one.

Today Anna had a bowl of blueberries in front of her. She swung her legs impatiently waiting for me.

Once I had sat down beside her she offered me the hand that wasn't resting in the bowl of berries.

"You know, somethings been bothering me, and I've forgotten to ask you the last couple times we've worked on this." Bella gently took Anna's other hand. "I can only feel Anna's powers when she shows them to me, thanks to her control. Even if I'm holding her, I can't feel her powers unless she lets me."

She pointed to me then. "Your power allow you to feel her powers even without her permission."

"You don't give me permission to feel your emotions," I offered simply. "Her powers are linked to what she feels around her, right?"

Bella nodded. "So it makes sense that you can feel whatever she does, my question though is, do you constantly feel what Anna feels or do you have the ability to control that?"

I took a moment to think about all the times I had been around Anna and seen her using her power. I glanced at Anna before turning back to Bella.

"I sense what's around me. I like to think I have better control over that than Edward's control with hearing thoughts." I thought about Alice's view of my powers. "Alice likes to call me an emotional sponge, I soak up what's around me."

Bella nodded thoughtfully.

Anna tried to sneak a handful of blueberries into her mouth. She grinned sheepishly when she sensed she had been caught.

I ruffled her hair. "Okay Anna, we can get started."

Author's POV

I really hoped you all liked this short outtake that better explains who Jasper's powers are able to sense Anna's.

As always if you have scenes you would like from a different POV just ask, and I'll write it as an outtake.

P.S

This past week was very busy for me, so sadly there won't be an update for Transitionals: New Moon yet. This coming week is also going to be very busy so I won't have a lot of time to write. I won't be able to post the next chapters for Transitionals, Transitionals: New Moon, and Transitionals: Eclipse until Wednesday 02/13/19.

Because of the long wait, I'm going to let you in on a little secret. Transitionals: Breaking Dawn, the first three chapters will be posted on the fourth anniversary of Transitionals. February 20th, 2019.

Until next time,
