The fuck is this?! He frowned as he turned to Terry who was patiently waiting for his answer. This shouldn't be there...why would it be there?! "I know where this is...it's not a safe place to go, especially at the time that's written here. Who gave you this?" He forced himself to keep his cool, carefully picking the words through the whirlwind of emotions that had been churning in him.

"I don't know, I found it with my shoes." She frowned as she took the note back and glanced at the address that was listed.. "That means I should be careful when going then." She sighed, her suspicions confirmed by this news.

"What? You're going?!" He gaped at her as she pocket the note as if it were just another scrap sheet of paper, yet there was some care as he watched her hand carefully tuck it deep in her pocket and pat it as if to reassure it was there still. Why would you want to go there when I just told you it's not safe? Are you fucking insane? I mean yes, this is Terry I'm talking to but even she has to have some limit to it! He grit his teeth, holding back his outburst that was ready just below the surface. He would give her time to explain her answer. He would not jump to conclusions...yet. What does this have to do with the kiss?

"Yeah, if it's who I think it is...then I can't back down." She sighed, adjusting the strap of her bag. "I can't exactly go with an entourage either though, well...nothing known anyway." She smiled at him. "I won't make you come with me, in all honesty I probably shouldn't get you involved at all; but will you come with me? You just need to hang nearby in case things go sour. I'll be telling Marik and Joey as well, so they'll be there to assist."

"Whoa, whoa! Hold up," Atem quickly shook his head at the sudden invitation and her tentative plan at the moment. "You know who wrote that?" He pointed to her pocket. " How when you said you found it in your locker? What does this have to do with the library incident? You're not making any sense." He scowled, not sure how approving he was of all this.

"Hmm, I guess I should clarify from the start. There were four people that day in the library: you, Seto, Joey, and Kyohei. You, Joey, and Seto were all cleared of being the possible one. I avoided Kyohei hoping he was just there by bad luck coincidence, but this letter doesn't really bode well. He's the last person I haven't confronted and with this sudden secret meeting, it seems he just may be the culprit." She visibly frowned, her gaze falling to the sidewalk. "I...I'm sorry, I really was hoping it was anyone but him too and after everything this morning plus what they've done to you it seems way too suspicious. I'm seriously not planning anything secret or something with them, I want nothing to do with them to be honest." She quickly spoke, wanting to reassure Atem that she was genuine and everything she has said within the past 24 hours was not simply a bait to lure him to something.

Atem silently watched as she rambled, surprised by the words that came tumbling from her lips. He actually had not given that possibility any thought. Surprisingly, he had not even come up with that possibility when it came to her. Now that she had said it, his mind was running at full speed. Turning, he cornered her back against the school wall. His hand slapped firmly against the brick beside her head, startling her enough to look up at him. He leaned in close, hiding his face from her as he leaned into her ear. "What type of ass do you take me for?" His voice came out in a low growl almost, Terry's chest squeezing tight at the drop in his voice. This was a different kind of pain, it was not sweet at all like before. This pain was colder and filled with a dread she was not sure what to do with.

"I'm not, I don't think you're an ass! I promise I'm not lying!" She quickly argued back, trying to formulate some way to calm him down so that he may see the truth and logic of her words.

"Is that so? Prove it," he leaned in closer to her ear. The sudden closing proximity between them easily took the forefront of her mind as she tried to side step to gain more space. She knew if she stayed where she was it could possibly hurt her cause more than help. All the while, she racked her brain for a way to prove what she was saying. As she cranked through her options, Atem could sense the gears turning in her head. The scramble for her to come up with something on the spot was cute.

To think I'd find someone I wouldn't second guess...I swear, how can you be so dense? Why would I suspect you after everything you've done? He chuckled under his breath, letting her fret a little more before nipping at her ear. "Foolish girl, you really think I'd peg you as some traitor? You're too blunt for that. I mean, you stepped up to help me even after I screwed up with you. Quit getting yourself all tied up in something that isn't an issue...unless, did you find a way to prove to me or are you willing to accept what I'd take as proof?" He hummed, tilting her chin up as he eyed her lips. He enjoyed watching her expressions change with each passing comprehension of his words, the steady growing blush only begging him to do more.

"I seriously thought you were upset! You're not even remotely bothered!" She puffed her cheeks in defiance, shoving at his chest to free herself from the cage that was his body. "Quit calling me foolish too, do you take me for some kind of idiot?" She snapped back at him seeing the look of amusement in his face. There way she pursed her lips to one side and how her brows knit together at the center of her forehead were all adorable attributes of hers that he was not sure how to handle it himself. Without the need to tease her, he would be a blushing mess that was putty in her hands.

Not that I'm not putty already…and she's still too dense to see it. He chuckled, pressing a kiss where her brows met. "I don't take you for an idiot, I take you for a foolish girl who doesn't yet see." He hummed as he rest his forehead again her forehead. "I'll go with you…. You better not pull any dumbass stunts though. I won't forgive even you for putting what's mine in danger." He grumbled under your breath, Terry staring at him in wide-eyed surprise.

"What's yours…? And what, exactly, is this 'your's' I'd be putting into danger?" She leaned her head back to try and get better look at his face but his hand quickly covered her eyes to hide himself and his redeemed cheeks.

"If you don't already know then there ain't a point in telling you!" He snapped, muttering under his breath. "Oi, no trying to look at my face with that weird face of yours!" He reprimanded as she tried to free herself again.

"Weird face?! How is my face suddenly weird?" She frowned at the commentary, not at all pleased by the new turnabout of conversation.

"C'Mon, I gotta get your ass back home." He gruffly spoke as quickly turned whole pulling away his hand. Terry watched as he stomped a few steps ahead before stopping to look at her. "You coming or what?!" She blinked, in slight awe at the sight of his handsome face glowing in the warmth of the setting sun.

Shaking her head, she sprinted to his side and grabbed his hand. Though his face was dyed red and orange from the sun, she knew from the redness of the tops of his ears he was a little flustered but said nothing. Smiling, she gave his hand that jerked in surprise a gentle squeeze before looking ahead as he took the chance to squeeze her hand back. Atem happily took the blissful silence as a chance to get himself back in check and erase the embarrassing words she had thrown back at him.

Of course I'm talking about you, you are mine! He squeezed her hand once more, walking into the packed train car. Slipping his arm around her waist to keep her in place, face turned to look out the window and hide the bush that was still prominent in his face.

"Well, whatever you meant I'll do my best to keep it safe?" She finally spoke up, her voice low to keep the conversation private.

"You better," he mumbled against her hair to keep her from looking up at him. "I'll come with to make sure you keep your word."

"Just for that?" She said with a lilt.

"Shut up, I told you why." He scowled, nipping her ear as punishment for teasing him. "You want me to be there when you tell the other two? Or do you think I should just come in tomorrow waiting for you to let us all know we know?"

"Hey," she nudged him at the nip. "Hm? Oh, I think...I'll talk to them tonight and see how they feel about all this, ironing out any issues. We can all talk on the way to school tomorrow or something then. Sound like a plan?"

"Whatever you prefer," he shrugged his shoulders as he leaned against the pole he was holding on to. "Just remember, anything suspicious and I'm jumping in to save your ass. I don't care what you might think you're controlling or not." He was ready to say more, he was going to say more but the sudden feel of her arms wrapped around his torso had him frozen in his spot. He blinked, staring down at her head as she pressed her cheek against his shoulder. The warmth of her body only made him hotter and to feel her so pressed up against him in the already crammed car was not helping his blood circulation.

"I appreciate that, but please at least try and wait? We can make a signal or something so you know if anything weird happens as soon as it does. Fair enough? I won't hide anything, but I can handle a good amount. I don't want him catching on to the fact others are there remember? He'll probably act out even worse and who knows what he's gonna be hiding too. So we need to play it smart." She whispered, turning her head to look up at him. Her grey-blue eyes glittered with the warmth of the sunlight, rendering him speechless at the moment. Swallowing his argument, he gripped at the back of her vest as he pulled her closer and crashed his lips against hers. Though she had stolen his words, the emotions were still there and he needed her to know what he was feeling.

The slightly rough and sudden kiss had taken her by surprise, leaving her a little weak kneed as he captured her lower lip between his teeth. The sting of the bite was quickly soothed by his tongue only for him to tug or nip once more in a pattern. Her heart thumped against her rips as blood rushed to her head, the only sound audible being the steady beat of her pounding heart until he finally released her from the kiss. The both of them slightly winded, he pressed his forehead against hers hoping she understood him. He peered into her eyes and she gave a small nod in response, unable to keep his gaze with her face so flushed from such a kiss.
