It hurt to lie like that to her sister but it broke her heart to see Grimmjow so lifeless, Chad pulled her away from the computer screen. She had to stop torturing herself.

"Are you sure about this Ichigo?" He asked, hands on her shoulders, making sure she looked at him and not the screen.

"You can still back out." She stood, knocking his hands away and grabbing the pair of scissors sitting on the desk. Wrapping her hair round her wrist she cut it off, keeping a tight hold on her hair.

"I can't Sado, Shiro's life and mine depend on it. He would never have stopped till he had me, I can't let the man live," she whispered the conviction strong in her voice. She was determined to see it through, this time nothing would stop her. Slowly she loosed the grip on her hair, the orange strands falling to the floor. She glared at the man on-screen finally not afraid of him. Fear had destroyed her life once before she wouldn't let that happen again.

"So where do you plan on going? I know you won't stay in japan," Chad said, knowing that what they had spoken about moments ago was no longer a topic of conversation.

"America, I have a friend over there. Aaron, he's got a job set up for my skill set and he's helping me acquire new papers and the like. You'll be the only one who knows where I am and that I'm alive, Shūhei forgets about things the second they leave his life that's the great thing about him it's the reason we always went to him. I need you to be there when I come home, when I call and when I need somewhere to store things. Will you do this for me?" She asked, staring at him. He couldn't say no, as much as he wanted to he couldn't, he had become involved the moment he left his bar to follow her. He loved her in high school and still did even now. Chad wanted nothing more than to pull her away from that life, wrap her in his arms and protect her but he couldn't. If he said no he would be throwing her to the wolves alone, she would have no one to fall back on when things got to much.

"Of course Ichigo, I will always be there for you." She smiled, throwing her arms around his neck.

"Thanks Sado," she murmured kissing his cheek. Picking up the duffel bag she'd asked him to bring she hugged the giant one last time, waving as she left. He watched as Ichigo walked out of his life, he knew that the next time he saw her she wouldn't be the same.
