Long awaited update.

The tunnel is dusty full of forgotten things. Wybie can't speak, he is mesmerized by the sheer length of the tunnel and how seemingly dusty it is.

Coraline bends down and begins to crawl into the tunnel.

"Y-your going in there?!" Wybie asks suddenly, his own ears can't even believe he talked.

"I need to save mom and dad." Was Coraline's response as she disappears into the tunnel, the Cat shortly follows.

"You too?" Wybie sighs and gets down on all fours. "Coraline, this is not a good idea, this tunnel should not exsist.

"And yet. It does."

Wybie screams and Coraline looks back at him. "Never hear the Cat talk Wybie?" Coraline asks with a snicker.

"The WHAT." Wybie responds.

"Me." The Cat purrs out.

"You sound like a g-grown man."

"I am older than I sound Wyborne."

Wybie feels his heart beat a bit faster. "You've seen me in my boxers."

"I've watched you grow up, I saw your mother pregnant with you, I have seen much more than you know."

"I am getting curtains." Wybie responds. He begins to think of all the times he humiliated the Cat with bugs. Or that one time he sang Bad Romance at the top of his lungs in the forest.

Coraline snickers again.

"You know, you both are walking right into her trap." The Cat says.

Or when he went thought Alicia Keys was the hottest women alive.

"I need to find my parents." Coraline replies.

"Challenge her then, she may not play fair but she will not refuse, she's got a thing for games."

Or that time he made a speech on grammar centered around I Gotta Feeling by The Black Eyed Peas.

"Okay" Coraline responds.

"Have you meet my dad?"

The Cat stops walking and looks back at the boy. They stare at each other for a second but a voice breaks the silence.

"Coraline?"

"Mom?"

"Coraline, you came back for us."

"Mom!" Coraline quickens her pace until she is running through the tunnel on her two feet.

"Darling why would you run away from me?" Coraline's mom says, but she was not Coraline's mother anymore. Instead she was a tall slender spider lady, instead, she was the Other Mother.

"Ugh!" Coraline yells in disgust pushing herself away from the Witch.

"Hahahaha" The Other Mother laughs.

"Where are my parents?" Coraline demands.

"Gosh I have no idea were your old parents are, perhaps they grew bored of you and ran away to France." Other Mother says, walking around Coraline as if over a fly.

"They weren't bored of me, you stole them!" Coraline says pointing her finger at the Witch.

"Now don't be difficult Coraline, have a seat won't you?" The Witch says waving her finger in Coraline's face then gesturing over the Other Father whose hair was scraggly and whose body wreaked of a rotting pumpkin.

Coraline lets out a gasp as Other Father picks her up and lifts her into the air, allowing a giant bug to crawl underneath her and trap her. As this happens the witch walks over to the door from which Coraline came through and claps three times.

Coraline watches and realizes something but the thought comes too late.

A very high pitched scream comes from the other end of the tunnel and then almost instantaneously Wybie appears with a large nasty rat covering his eyes.

"Oh look, how charming, we have a guest today." The Witches white broken face cracks into a big evil smile.

"I have been keeping my eyes on you for a very long time Wyborn. So glad we can finally meet in person." The Witch continues, circling Wybie and touching his hair and ears softly. "I have to say though, my version of you was spot on. Oh, I wish you two could have met." The Witch says with a giggle.

Coraline's mind begins to process what the Witch was saying. "What have you done with Wybie!?" She demands.

"Why Wybie is right here isn't he?" The Witch asks sliding a finger across Wybie's cheek and ending on his chin which she pulls up from the floor. The rat was in Wybie's hair now and Wybie's eyes were avoiding eye contact with everything.

"Y-yes, I mean Other Wybie!" Coraline says, getting frustrated.

"You mean the better Wybie." The Witch says, turning to Coraline. "The one who let you escape? The one who was silent but could not smile for me? The one who betrayed me!?" The Witch asks taking aggressive steps towards Coraline.

Coraline was scared from her hair to her toenails, she was shocked in her seat, as still as a stone.

But, a squeak sounded from behind the witch.

The rat from on top of Wybie's head made another squeak. Coraline noticed that within the rat's mouth there was a key. The key that allowed the opening of the door, the key that would lock this place up, the key that would lock this place forever.

The Witch took the key from the rat's mouth and locked the small door putting a bug dresser in front of it. She put the key up in the air then dropped it down her own throat, swallowing it whole.

"Why don't you have your own key?" Coraline asks, disgusted with the Other Mother.

"Only one key-" The other father says from behind Coraline. He could not finish his sentence because the Witch pulled a root hanging out of Other Fathers ear causing his mouth to shut.

"The garden squash need tending, don't you think pumpkin?" The Witch says, dragging other Father out of the room by his thin pumpkin root arms.

"Squish squash, apple sauce." The Other Father sings as the witch drags him out of the room.

Coraline watches them till they are out of sight, the living room seemed to turn off once the Witch left the room. Coraline heard a familiar sound but, when she looked around all she found was Wybie. He was staring at his shoes and fiddling with his gloves.

"Wybie, are you okay?" Coraline getting up from her bug chair.

"I-I have heard stories about h-her."

Coraline's mind goes back to Wybie's grandmother, an old woman now but, she had her twin sister taken from her.

"You should have stayed home Wybie." Coraline says, feeling a small bit of compassion for her stuttering stalker.

"Well I c-can't go home now." Wybie responds, gesturing at the giant bug covering the small door in the wall. "J-J-Jonsey, how are we g-going to get out of here?" Wybie asks looking up at the blue haired girl. His brown eyes were scared and almost distant like he was not really there.

"I have a plan Wybie. I am going to get us out of here and save everyone." Coraline responds softly putting her arm around Wybie, he was shaking.

"Breakfast time!" The Witch says from the kitchen.

She startles both children but only Wybie jumps, he holds on to Coraline.

"She is a very d-d-dangerous lady J-J-Jonsey." Wybie says, thinking back to all of the stories his Nana used to tell him before he went out to play outside or when he went to sleep.

"I know Wybie; but, I have to defeat her." Coraline responds walking out of the living room and towards the kitchen.
