2. Chapter 2

Hey guys,

Sorry for the looong delay. I've been working on an original story which I am ultimately working towards hopefully publishing through some avenue with any luck. While this has been exciting, it has taken some of my limited free time away from this story. No matter how invested I have been in that story, this one keeps pulling me back in. So, I will be doing this on the side. I actually do have most of the bones of this story in place so I would like to have regular updates. I have decided to go in a different direction with this story than I originally intended although the heart of my original intentions will be the same.

I'm a sucker for an AU brucas story taking off from the finale of 5x18. So, it will originate after that time. There was such a blank canvas for the BLP triangle at that point, particularly brooke and lucas and I still feel that it was such a missed opportunity by the writers and company. So, expect a few surprises but hopefully a realistic portrayal of a brooke and lucas reunion.
