Chapter 10: Until they all fall

{{{{{{{}}}}}}}

Allen and Tyki made their way around, the Portuguese taking care of a few of the targets on their list. Allen knelt in front of Suman Dark. She couldn't help but fell bad for him. He must'v had a family.

"I feel bad for him, Tyki. He looks so scared." Allen sighed.

"They aren't worth felling sorry for, Shojo."

Allen looked in Suman's eyes.

"Do you have someone important that you want to protect? A reason to live?"

"There's no use-" Tyki was interrupted by Suman's trembling voice.

"I want to live... To see my daughter..."

Allen smiled warmly. "You will. Tyki?"

The Portuguese nodded. Allen decided it was best to block out the following events.

"Uncle Neah?"

"Yes, Dear Niece?"

"Can I talk to you and Crown Clown till Tyki's done?"

"What is it you Wish to talk about, Allen?"

"Hmmm... Why do the Exorcists want to hurt Daddy?"

Both Crown Clown and Neah where silent so Allen decided to ask a different question.

"How did i know that song from before? When we were going to Barcelona?"

"It's a part of the melody used to control the Ark."

"That's so cool!"

"It's one of the perks of being the musician."

Allen checked to see if Tyki was done. Luckily for her, he was and they left an unconscious Suman behind.

Allen quietly followed Tyki through the Ark. She wondered what was going to happen to Suman.

"Allen, you have no need to concern yourself with Suman Dark's fate."Crown Clown said calmly.

"Okay."

Allen skipped along behind Tyki, humming a little tune. Humming help her keep her mind off the poor man's unfortunate fate. Tyki put out his cigarette as they reached the oak doors to the dinning room of the white ark. The family was already seated by the time the two entered. Allen immediately squeezed past Tyki and got into her seat.

"How is your mission going, Tyki-Pon?" The earl asked.

Allen hardly ever saw the earl with out the huge grin and large body. Tyki didn't answer so Allen took it upon herself to answer for him.

"We've gotten alot of them so far." Allen said, not even looking at the milkshake in front of her.

"That's wonderful, Little Allen-Pon~." The Earl, or Adam clapped his hands together.

"But i didn't do anything." Allen protested.

"That is perfectly acceptable. You just stay your adorable, innocent, sweet self Little Allen-Pon~. I do hope you were treated like a princess while you were away~."

Allen smiled. "Tyki got lots of souvenirs for me since I might not see those places again."

"Good~." Adam nodded.

Allen took a sip of her drink before taking the card out and looking at the remaining names.

"Still so many..."

"It will be fine. If you wish, you can always speak with me and your uncle whenever the deed must be done."

"Arigato, Crown Clown."

Allen put the card away and drank more of her milkshake. Allen got out of her chair when she finished the sweet treat.

"Do you want me to go with you Allen?" Road asked.

"I'll be okay for tonight Road." Allen said, smiling softly.

Allen went up to Adam and hugged him.

"'Night daddy."

"Good night, Little Allen-Pon~."

Allen left the dinning room. She followed the ever familiar way to her room, humming all the while. She flopped down into her bed, not even bothering to change her cloths. She had too much on her mind to really care. She thought back to the time in Barcelona and before that. She sighed.

"So much has happened lately."

"Alot always tends to happen when the Noah are your family, Dear Niece."

"It's kinda weird to be on this mission when i'm not really doing anything."

"You would be surprised how much help your presence alone is."

Allen smiled slightly. "At least I can protect them now."

"That's right, Dear Niece. Just like Mana did for you."

Allen covered herself up in the warm blankets.

"I'm going to keep my family safe this time... even if i have to take a life..." Allen said drowsily.

Allen sat up, rubbing her eyes. She slipped out from the covers and made her bed before leaving her room. She walked to the dining room.

"Good morning, Allen~!" Road said, keeping pace with the white-haired girl.

"Good morning Road." Allen said.

The two entered the large room and took their seats almost immediately. Everyone was doing their own thing and minding their own business until Adam came in, looking the same as most every other time. Allen waved happily.

"Good morning everyone~." Adam greeted.

"Good morning, Earl." Tyki said.

"'Morning Daddy!" Allen greeted cheerfully.

"How is your mission coming, Little Allen-pon, Tyki-pon?"

"Well enough. Quite a few of our targets have been deleted." Tyki replied.

"Wonderful~!" Adam exclaimed. "It's almost time for the next act to begin~."

Brothers

August 10, 1990, Hao and Yoh-five years of age~

"Bet you can't catch me, Aniki!" Yoh called, looking back.

"Oh yeah? Bet I could!" Hao called back and ran faster.

Hao chased after Yoh, laughing with him. Hao caught up to Yoh and hugged him. "Got ya, Otouto."

"Ah! Aww... no fair." Yoh complained, still smiling.

The adults watched the pair play. Keiko was ecstatic that the twins were getting along so well. Mikihisa just watched in silence and Yohmei kept a close eye on Hao, waiting for him to go back on his word and attack Yoh. Yoh took Hao by his wrist and dragged him to the garden.

"let's make something for Kaasan!"

"Good idea. I'll make a flower crown."

"And i'll make a bouquet. Kaasan'll look like a queen then." Yoh said.

The twins sat down and immediately began picking various flowers. Hao weaved the stems of each flower and greenery with the utmost care, the design was intricate and wouldn't fall apart easily. Yoh haphazardly bunched flowers together. Hao would give him tips and point out what colors would look good together. Yoh stood up after making sure his gift for Keiko wouldn't fall apart. He ran ahead of Hao. Hao followed at a slower pace. Yoh held out the flowers when he reached his mother.
