Chapter 11-It's Okay to be afraid
{{{{{{{{}}}}}}}}
Allen sighed quietly. She was starting to get a headache from the constant stream of noise. She folded her hands on the table and rested her chin on her hands. Adam had explained what the next Act would be but couldn't stay long due to needing to 'attend to business'. Allen looked over at Tyki, who had been watching her. She blushed slightly and turned away. Allen felt self conscious with Tyki watching her every move. She got up and went in the direction Adam had gone, silently hoping to talk to him. When she found the Noah she called dad, she walked up next to him.
"Daddy, can i stay with you?" Allen asked quietly.
"Of course Little Allen-pon~." Adam said.
Allen watched Adam go about his business. He turned to the youngest. Allen straitened up, remembering what she was told.
"Come with me. There's something i want to show you." Adam said, oddly serious.
Allen nods and follows Adam as he leaves, heading back towards the dining room. Allen had to jog every now and then to keep up with Adam. They passed through the dining room, earning curious looks from the occupants(except Skinn). Tyki, Road and Jasdevi were the first to follow. Adam slowed, noticing Allen's trouble keeping up. Allen took deep breaths, happy to heave slowed down. Adam stopped at a door and opened it. Inside is a white piano with black keys. Allen walks towards it. As soon as she reaches it, she brushes her fingers over the keys. She sat on the seat and Road sat next to the whitette.
"It's so pretty." Allen murmured.
"And it's all yours~." Adam said.
Allen smiled and pressed a few keys. The few keys turned to many, leading to a happy melody. Everyone watched, either impressed or in awe over the sound. Allen had a gentle smile on her lips. Her inspiration was Mana, Neah, Adam, Road, Jasdevi... The whole family and Mimi, her close friend. Allen brought the melody to an end and directed her smile to her family. Everyone was clapping.
"That was amazing, Shoujo." Tyki praised.
Allen blushed slightly and looked away. Adam and Road 'awww'ed at the sight.
"T-thanks Tyki..." Allen mutters.
Allen stands up and bows. When she straightened up, Road hugged the younger Noah. Allen laughed happily. Lulu Bell stood at the door. Adam talked with her quietly. Allen waited for Mimi to pop up next to Lulu Bell. After a while, Allen's smile faded.
"Where's Mimi?" Allen asked.
"The exorcist destroyed her. She was protecting me." Lulu Bell told the whitette.
Allen looked down. Tyki hugged Allen.
"Which exorcist did it? And why Mimi?" The girl asked again, on the verge of tears.
"Two, the red head and the girl with pigtails." Lulu Bell informed.
Allen ttok a calming breath. Tyki let the girl go and stood up.
"I'll be in my room if anyone needs me." Allen muttered.
The whitette left. She found her room with ease. She entered the room, almost slamming the door behind her. Allen sat on her bed, hugging her knees. She sat there for awhile.
"It'all be alright Dear Niece..." Neah comforted.
"I guess. It's just, Mimi was my best friend. I could trust her with everything I tell her."
Allen looked up when the door opened and Adam stepped in. He sat next to her and gently placed a hand on her head. Allen wiped her face and looked at the blanket.
"How would you like to go on a tour of Edo?" Adam asked.
"That would be great." Allen said with a smile. "And tomorrow I could play the piano again before dinner."
Adam stood up, holding Allen's hand and took her on the promised tour. A month had passed. Allen, Tyki, Skinn and Adam waited for their guests' arrival. Allen hadn't let go of the grudge she harbored. When the exorcists finally came to a stop, Adam, who was using his disguise, spoke.
"I'm glad you all made it to the stage~!" Adam said cheerfully.
One of the exorcists, the vampire like one, made a move. Allen shifted to her black side and called on Crown Clown. She stopped him, tendrels of white stopping any further movement. Allen tsk-ed the group.
"Can't let you ruin daddy's plan." Allen said with a false smile. "Oh. I hope you two had fun killing my friend, mister Lavi, miss Lenalee~."
Lavi and Lenalee share a disbelieving look then look back Allen.
"You were that little girl on the train." Lavi said.
"Glad you remember me." Allen almost sneered. "Now I'm going to get a little revenge since you destroyed Mimi."
Tyki looked at the scene in front of him with concern, not for the exorcists but for Allen.
"That look doesn't belong on her. It looks wrong." Tyki thought
A katana swung at the whitette, aiming for her neck. Allen jumped back, the white cloth going with her. A tall person who's long hair was in a ponytail held the katana that could'v taken her head.
"Yu! Man am I glad to see you." Lavi yelled.
The man tch'ed and keep his attention on Allen. Allen smiled at him.
"Your name is yu? Hehe. That's a funny name." Allen laughed.
The samurai used that moment to strike. Allen used her left hand to block the attack. Akuma filled the sky, all level threes. Allen and Yu struggled to gain the upper hand on the other. Allen was so focused on the sword in front of her, she didn't notice the oncoming attack. Yu knocked the girl unconscious, causing her to go back to her 'white' side, and slung her over his shoulder. Tyki and Skinn joined the fight. Tyki took on Yu, attempting to retrieve Allen. Skinn kept the others busy.
In Allen's mind.
Allen walked around in wonder.
"Is this really my head or just another dream?" She asked herself.
"This is your mind, Dear Niece." Neah said.
Allen looked for the source of the familiar voice.
"Behind you." Neah said with a grin.
Allen turned around. A taller man with short, spiky dark hair stood there, grinning.
"Uncle Neah?" Allen asked.
Neah nodded and held out his arms for a hug. Allen hugged Neah happily. When she pulled away, Neah took Allen's hand and led her towards three chairs. He sat next to the person wearing all white. She took the last seat. Neah and Crown Clown occupy the girl with stories.
In reality.
Tyki was forced to leave Allen behind. The Portuguese felt horrible for abandoning the girl. Tyki paced while Jasdevi watched. Meanwhile, with the exorcists, a group surrounds Allen. Lavi was deep in thought, Lenalee was confused to no end, Yu couldn't care less. Allen's eye lids fluttered open. She groaned.
"Hey! You're up!" Lavi said.
Allen froze an her breath hitched in her throat. Crown Clown was still activated and wrapped protectively around it's host. One of the oldest kneeled in front of the mass of white. Allen looked around, hoping for a quick escape. seeing none, Allen gives up and directed a glare at the group.
"Hello. I'm Tidol." Tidol introduced with gentle smile.
Allen glared at him, although abit more cautiously.
"That's alright. Little steps." He said, awfully happy.
Allen curled her fingers.
"I think it's okay for now, Crown Clown."
"Alright. But as soon as there is danger, I will protect you."
Crown Clown deactivated but Allen still didn't let her guard down. Most of the group split into their own activities and Allen hoped to see Tyki or Adam soon. The whitette had lost trake of time after awhile of sitting under the bridge. Allen spotted something familiar. Lero appeared near the whitette. Allen smiled.
"Lero!" Allen called.
Allen felt herself sink. She stuck her tongue out at those watching. Lenalee, lavi, Yu and Crowley tried to catch her. The next minute, Allen landed in a pair of waiting arms. She looked up.
"Tyki! My hero!" Allen said with a giggle.
Four people fell from the sky. Tyki stepped away. The Portuguese was in his human guise. The four got up and looked around before focusing on Tyki and Allen. Tyki set Allen down and stands finds in front of her. The Portuguese had a sword pointed at him. Tyki held his hands up. Lero floated down next to the pair of Noah.
"Head for the center of the city, Allen. I'll catch up when I'm done." Tyki said.
"Promise you'll be okay." Allen said.
"I promise." Tyki said with a small smile.
Allen hugged him before running to the center. Tyki watched her leave. He turned back to the group. Tyki delivered the message and gave them a key before leaving. The Exorcists, except Yu, exchanged a look before starting through the city, dragging poor Lero along.
