Chapter 12-For what it's worth

Allen made it to the center on the Ark. One of Road's doors stood before her. Allen walked through it. As soon as she exited the door on the other side, she was tackled by Road. The whitette smiled and hugged Road.

"Milleniee is worried about you. So was Tyki. As soon as he was given permission, Tyki rushed off to save you." Road said, getting up and dusting of her skirt.

Allen nodded with a light dusting of blush on her face. Allen stood up, not bothering to brush any specs off her own cloths.

"He did come. He probably fought hard because i was stupid and let myself get caught." Allen thought to herself.

"I'm back." Tyki said.

Allen whirled around and ran to the Portuguese. She hugged him tightly. Tyki stared down at her for a moment before hugging back.

"I promised I would come back safely." Tyki said in a warm voice.

"I'm sorry if i worried you before…" Allen muttered just loud enough for Tyki to hear.

"All that matters is you're here and safe." Tyki said softly.

Road 'awwww'ed and Neah gushed.

"My cute, sweet Niece is in loooove~" Neah said.

"Uncle Neah! That going too far!"

"I think that is very accurate." Crown Clown laughed.

"I knew i wasn't the only one that thought that!" Neah said excitedly.

Allen pulled away, cherry red. Tyki tilted her head up and smiled.

"Red is a good color for you." He said.

Allen pulled away and faced the city. Tyki chuckled and Road snuck up on Allen.

"You've got a crush~!" Road teased.

"R-Road!" Allen yelled, half embarrassed.

Road giggled. "There's nothing wrong with that. It's cute~!"

Tyki smirked slightly. Allen groaned and stomped away, angry at Road. Tyki followed the youngest Noah. Allen plopped down in the closest chair. Tyki and Road sat down also. Allen hummed the song that she sang when she and Tyki went to Barcelona. After a while Allen had fallen asleep, leaning against Tyki. All three had tears running down their faces.

"Skinn is gone." Road said loudly.

Tyki put a finger to his lips to signal the other to keep quiet. Road sighed.

"Allen's going to find out eventually." Road said.

"I know but the last thing she needs to hear right now is that she lost another important person." Tyki said with a sigh.

Road had an understanding look.

"Seeing how she reacted to the news of Mimi being destroyed." Tyki added.

The Portuguese wiped Allen's tears away and kissed her head. Road smiled at the pair before reading her book. Tyki comforted the whitette when her face became a mask of fear while she slept. Shortly after, Allen yawned and opened her eyes. She smiled drowsily before realizing she was leaning against Tyki. She inwardly scolded herself for falling asleep when the Exorcists could get there at any moment. She rubbed her eyes but didn't move, enjoying the warmth.

"Did you have a good nap, Shoujo?" Tyki asked.

"I did. " Allen said with a smile, looking at him. "Were you crying?"

Tyki wiped his eyes quickly. Allen giggled. Tyki smiled at her before turning away and taking out his cards then proceeded to shuffle them.

"How about a game of Poker?" Tyki asked.

Allen nodded and sat up strait. Tyki passed the cards and set the deck down. Allen picked up her cards and put on her best poker face. Tyki discarded two then picked two replacements. Allen looked at her cards then discarded one, replacing it with another. They both laid their hands on the table. Allen grinned.

"I finally beat you!" Allen cheered.

Tyki looked between the sets, disbelief apparent on his face.

"Congratulations, Shoujo." Tyki said, clapping.

"What do i get for winning?" Allen asked impatiently.

Tyki tapped his chin and Allen crossed her arms. Tyki grinned and leaned towards her then gives her a quick kiss. Allen turned bright red.

"Tyki k-kissed me!" Allen screamed in her head.

"He did!?" Neah shouts.

"Yeah! We played poker and i finally won a hand and he kissed me for winning!"

"I wish I could'v seen. That would'v been sooooo cute!"

"What is all the fuss about?"

"Tyki just kissed Allen!"

Allen could imagine Crown Clown's reaction. To her, it would'v been funny any other time but then wasn't funny. Just really awkward.

"Are you okay Allen?" Tyki asked still wearing the grin.

"I-I'm fine!" Allen said hurriedly.

"Now I've got another picture for the scrap book~." Road said.

Both turned to see road with a camera and a picture. Tyki blushed slightly and Allen hid her face. Tyki placed a hand on her back. Allen looked at him from the corner of her eye.

"Up for another round of poker?" He asked.

Allen sat up and nodded. "This time the winner picks what they get."

Tyki laughed. "Alright. Let's begin, shall we?"

The portugese reshuffled the cards then handed the cards out. Like before, they had there best poker faces on. Unfortunately, their game was interrupted by two exorcists and a human. Allen huffed while Tyki told them to sit. Road sat in the free chair opposite Tyki. Allen looked back to her cards. Tyki took four cards and picked up four new ones. Allen didn't pick up any. They laid out the cards again. Tyki grinned.

"Looks like I won Allen." Tyki said.

Allen groaned. "But i thought for sure I had the better hand."

"I'll take my prize later." Tyki said with a wink.

Allen turned tomato red. The three newcomers just stared at them.

"What? Never seen a game of poker played like this?" Tyki ckuckled. "Winner's pick."

He wrapped an arm around Allen. The whitette looked at him for a minute. She didn't exactly mind but found it uncomfortable while people are watching.

"Now that you've made it, we can enjoy ourselves before time runs out on your part~." Road said.

Alexis-Senpai: Yay! I've read some of your stuff, Those being The Earl's son and Seasonal Secret. The Earl's son is part of my inspiration for this, got me thinking about it.
