{Update! Hello all. When you get the email telling you all, I'm sorry to say that this isn't a new chapter. But i am here with good news, that being that Wonderful Days is getting a much needed revamp from this kinda cringy start to writing. The rewrite will be on Wattpad while I slowly replace the chapters here, so sadly, some chapter or this whole story will go down as i make the new one. I do apologize for so little updating and activity here. Thank you for all the kind, helpful words and amazing support and understanding.}

Chapter 17: discovery then anguish

{{{{{{{{}}}}}}}}

As soon as Allen and Lulu Bell step into the Ark, the whitette got tackled by Road.

"We were sooo worried!" Road cried.

Allen hugged Road back, happy to see her family again. Allen spotted Tyki and immediately pulled away from Road and glomped the Portuguese.

"Tyki!" Allen shouted, crying.

Tyki hugged Allen gently, stroking her hair, "You're safe now, Shojo. I won't let them near you again."

"I missed you." Allen sniffled softly.

Tyki smiled softly.

"And I missed you, Shojo." Tyki told the whitette.

Any who witnessed the exchange smiled or 'awwww'ed. Even Lulu Bell, surprisingly.

"Oh yeah! You still haven't picked your prize for beating me at poker." Allen reminded.

"I have, I was just waiting for the right moment." Tyki told her.

Tyki took Allen's face in his hands and kissed her passionately. Allen gripped Tyki's suit, returning the kiss. The Portuguese held Allen close until the need of air made him pull away.

"And I missed the biggest moment of my Dear Niece's life." Neah pouted.

"There wasn't much to miss..." Allen told her uncle.

"Wasn't much!? You're falling in love and I can't see it!" Neah cried.

Allen sighed as she rested her head against Tyki's chest, smiling contently. Tyki played with Allen's hair, looking down at her warmly. Neah cried loudly, complaining about not being able to see his niece grow up.

"I think your pouting is starting to annoy Allen, Neah." Crown Clown spoke.

"It's not fair!" Neah whined.

"I bet you're hungry, Shojo. Let's enjoy our lunch then we'll finish our mission." Tyki said softly.

Allen nodded and pulled away from the hug but keeping a hold on his hand.

"Tyki?" Allen called.

Tyki looked down at Allen, "Yeah, Shojo?"

The whitette looked at their hands then back at Tyki, mercury eyes shining with determination and confidence.

"I love you, Tyki." Allen told him.

Tyki smiled warmly and leaned down.

"I love you too, Allen." The Portuguese returned, placing a hand on her cheek.

Allen placed her hand on his, closing her eyes. Tyki kissed her forehead. The two walk to the dining room hand in hand. When they walked in, Tyki pulled out Allen's chair for her. Allen sat down, not letting go of Tyki's hand.

"Shojo. I need my hand so I can sit down." Tyki told her.

Allen reluctantly released Tyki's hand. Tyki kissed the top of her head and moved to his own seat. Adam sighed as he too sat at the table in the new ark.

"The Exorcists still have the egg." Adam announced.

"I can get it back. I just need a couple of level fours. Also... Where's Skinn?" Allen asked.

The room went silent.

"Skinn..." Tyki started.

"Skinn's gone. He was killed." Road said quietly.

"W-what? K-killed...?" Allen stuttered, tears appearing in the corners of her eyes.

"Unfortunately." Tyki sighed.

Tears pour down Allen's face.

"They... Daddy, I'm taking the akuma and I'm going to the Black Order." Allen stated, leaving the dining room.

Tyki made a move to stand but Road placed a hand on his shoulder and shook her head.

"I'll follow her and keep her safe." Road said, following after the white-haired girl.

Allen walked into her room and sat on her bed, giving in to her sorrow.

"Allen..."

"It's best to leave her at this moment." Crown Clown told Neah.

"I hate hearing you cry, Allen... I know it's painful, losing family, but you're not in it alone. Everyone felt the effects." Neah tried to console Allen.

"Just shut up, Neah!" Allen yelled.

"Allen?" Road called.

The whitette looked up and at Road. Road pulled Allen into a tight hug. Allen cried harder than she had in years. Road just held the younger tightly, tears of her own beginning to spill from her eyes.

"It'll be okay, Allen. We'll get revenge for Skinn." Road said softly.

Adam opened the door and looked at Allen with concern. Tyki was with Adam, looking more worried than concerned. Tyki walked in and tapped on Road's shoulder.

"I'll take over, if you don't mind." Tyki said.

Road nodded and moved aside, letting Tyki take her place in comforting Allen. The Portuguese kissed the top of Allen's head and rocked her gently, holding her close.

"I-it hurts, Tyki.." Allen sobbed, holding onto Tyki's shirt.

"I know, Allen. I know." Tyki said softly, smoothing Allen's hair.

"I found Mimi's bell that I gave her. She said if anything were to happen to her to give it to you." Lulu Bell said, walking into the room.

Allen looked at Lulu Bell. The older held out the small bell.

"I apologize it took this long to give it to you." Lulu Bell said.

"I-it's okay, Lulu Bell." Allen muttered, wiping her eyes and taking the bell.

The whitette removed the red ribbon in her hair and slipped the bell on it. She smiled a little, slipping the small object into her pocket.

"Do you want to go somewhere, walk around, maybe get dinner?" Tyki asked softly.

"Y-yeah... that sounds nice..." Allen agreed.

In Allen's mind, Neah sat on the ground of her mindscape, head down and eyes overcast. Crown Clown approached Neah and sat next to him.

"I'm surprised. You're not gushing over Allen going out with Tyki." The white figure said.

Neah stayed silent.

"Neah, say something. I cannot stand this silence from you." Crown Clown prompted, trying to get Neah to speak.

"...I can't believe she yelled at me... She's never done that..." Neah finally spoke.

"She was frustrated and upset. I'm sure she didn't mean to yell at you." Crown Clown stated.

Neah's shoulders shook as he began crying. Crown Clown just patted his back than left.

"Uncle Neah..?" Allen called. "I'm sorry I yelled at you, uncle. I hope you can forgive me."

Tyki stood up, holding Allen bridle-style. The Portuguese, as promised, took Allen to a decent town with a nice restaurant. Tyki set Allen on her feet and walked her around town, getting her a few things she wanted. Afterwords, he took her to the restaurant.

"Have fun, Allen." Neah told his niece then retreating further into her mind.

Allen frowned slightly but followed Tyki to their table.
