TWEWY: A Fall Into Honor:

This story is about how Joshua became the Composer. The story is from Joshua's point of view, and others if the story needs to. This is a prequel of the game The World Ends With You. TWEWY is made by Square Enix. This is a FAN FICTION and not the real prequel. Enjoy.

I got the TWEWY videogame! Hooray! I should be able to put more descriptions of the districts into the story now =3

Week 1, day 6:

Chapter 24: Exchanged Prospect:

Izo looked at Blindy, the kid was looking in another direction ignoring the fact that Rei abducted his older half brother. And Izo wondered if the blind brat was pondering about what he did or how his brother was acting.

Still, Izo had no concern nor pity for Blindy.

Nor did he have it for Blindy's older half brother, who was starting to grow haggard from day 5 to now. The ongoing hardships placed upon him, because they were deeply linked to Blindy.

Izo would never understand what sibling relationships would truly be. He was a orphan, and he would remember it for all of eternity.

He stalked up to the blond as he gazed sightlessly into the distance, then he smacked a hand on his shoulder and forced him to pivot around to face him. Blindy's long pale grey sleeves and Ying-Yang pendant swayed in the speed and motion of the created wind "So, you erased a Reaper."

Blindy only blinked a couple times as his pale grey eyes only stared back into Izo's maroon eyes "I had to."

There was a spell of silence before Izo turned his head away to express his spurn to babysitting the blind brat "Feh... The wretched thing is… I'm rapt. Of all people in the world, I never anticipated you to erase a Reaper, to willingly break any of the standards on behalf of this paltry game."

Blindy stared at him as he let go of his shoulder harshly; the petite blond was very bizarre to Izo. He never understood the blind brat to some degree, but…

Occasionally he could remarkably.

"Izo…" Izo raised his head that was starting to tip forward from one of his contemplates to look at Blindy, the blind brat looked in the direction they last saw Aleck and the tyke (also known as Rei) had gone "Josh fury with me. I something wrong?"

As the cobalt haired teen lips twitched to become a frown, he merely pushed his bangs to the side as his maroon eyes looked icily at the blind brat "Hmm… Ah, of course you did. By erasing that Reaper you've become a Wanted Player." He narrowed his eyes a bit as his bangs slowly crept back to where they covered his right eye "I might of cogitated on erasing a Reaper or two for awhile, but, that is versus the precise standards of this game…"

"'Wanted Players'…" echoed Blindy suddenly "Me…"

The moment Rei had let him go, Joshua gathered his strength and tried to punch her.

But the ashen grey haired lady did a simple sidestep then bashed her clipboard into his back, this caused him to fall down to the dirty ground "What? Are you trying to hit a lady? And I thought someone as yourself had manners."

Joshua coughed and got up quickly, he patted his clothing to purge the annoying dust and the dreadful grime off before he growled "Normally I'm polite… but if I'm not in the mood…" he shook his head as a suppressed giggle escaped "I rather not say, Rei."

For a moment, the ashen haired lady gave him a confused stare before she sighed "'Kay…" she put a hand on her hip as she spoke "I wanna know, one thing… Are you crazy?!"

"No!" protested Joshua back; he was insulted right away as he spoke "You're crazy. Believing Ayumu like that. He erased a Reaper, he's inhuman-"

A slap to the left cheek made him fall back down onto the dirty ground.

Why did he always get hurt and end up on the foul ground? This was becoming a endless pattern that Joshua never understood after entering the game, and fighting through each mission the week's days had to offer. But he would complain later about that.

He got up stiffly as his lavender eyes gleamed darkly and painfully, "My half brother-"

Another slap hit him on the same sore left cheek, but he managed to endure it and keep himself standing. If blood could be seen in the UG, his whole face would be plastered with it.

"Stop with the whole 'my half brother' shit! Where's your respect and love for your brother, Ayumu?!" Rei didn't seem that understanding of what his half brother had done, Joshua wanted to run away from her and get erased this time "I'll keep slappin' ya until you either reclaim your common sense, or become knocked out cold. Make up your mind Aleck, or you'll be Twity soon."

Joshua winced as he heard her swear, Rei never swore. Never.

"Do you think I would hold a grudge against Izo?" her tone was shrill and choked, Joshua saw that Rei was starting to cry, "I love him as though he's my kin, a true blood bonded brother."

Suddenly it was as though thoughts came plunging forth from the depths of the sea of his mind like a flood had started; memories, long forgotten ponders, wishes, dreams, goals, and emotions filled with… Reason.

He suddenly felt his heart ache from all this, slowly he fell to his knees toppling as he opened his mouth in a silent cry. Then he started to curl up in a ball as his vision went black.

'Ayumu…' the 10-year-old Joshua crept forward to the nook in the dull coloured walls of WildKat Café past fallen and broken tables and chairs to where Ayumu was trying to make himself as small as possible as he hugged his knees tightly to his chest, Ayumu squealed back shrilly 'Go away, Yoshiya!'

Joshua cringed as his real name was mentioned, Ayumu would never use it unless he was really anger with him. It rarely was used since he and Ayumu got along so well.

Again he attempted to approach his younger half brother as he screamed shrill again 'Go away, Yoshiya! K-K-Keep away…'

The ashen blond boy only halted for a brief second when he murmured 'Ayumu… I'm sorry about what I said before, about you being stu-' he yelped as a glass cup almost hit him and snashed into many jarred shards, each shard managed to not hit him thankfully.

All the mess made from Ayumu at that time, caused Sanae to fall silent and become petrified as he sat down on a perfectly undamaged chair at a perfectly undamaged table.

After a few seconds he tried to get closer to his younger half brother, he saw Ayumu's petite body tremble or perhaps shiver more perhaps 'Please… I wanna be alone.'

'C-Calm down… L-Look at me, Ayumu…' the lavender eyed boy didn't know what to expect, thus he was deathly nervous if Ayumu would forgive him or not.

So he quivered a bit just as Ayumu poked his head up, the petite blond's eyes were bloodshot and his face was rosy because of his bawling but also his face was shining from his now drying tears.

'N-No…' Ayumu's voice was barely a whisper as he sniffled, curling back up in the feeble form he was from crying, 'Y-You're right… I'm blind, I'm stupid. It'll never change!'

"Twity, Aleck, Joshua, Yoshiya!" Rei was the first person he saw, he blinked slowly as he regained his posture, and his eyes darkened as he pushed Rei away "Stop calling me that! Or rather you have me nickname you, Rei?"

Even before he realized it, his tone was playful and teasing like it normally was.

"Wow," she clapped her hands with a smirk, "Normally Izo would've ran away by now grumbling. But I guess you and Ayumu do it differently, at least Ayumu doesn't go all crybaby or pissed. You have it easy..."

He got up and glared at her, all his playfulness gone "Are you trying to compare Izo to my half brother? Because, it's not crafty to do that when my half brother right now is experiencing NO EMOTIONS AT ALL!"

Two jingles and vibrations sounded from Joshua's and Rei's phones, they both as though on cue got their phones out and opened them up. As Joshua read the text message from his orange phone Rei exclaimed "Oh my gosh! The mission has our names in it!"

'Interesting…' without another delay Joshua read the text aloud as his tone sounded dead from anger "To Rei Shuuito and Yoshiya Kiryu; recover the noodles' brilliance. You have t-60 minutes. Fail to do so, you will both face erasure by the Reapers."

Just after that a sharp pang of pain hit Joshua causing him and Rei to wince as the normal blood-red timer appeared, Joshua didn't bother look at the time they had.

Rei's bright brown eyes widened and flashed as she closed her white phone with the same hand she held it in, "Whoa! We got a special mission Aleck, how super cool is that?!"

'Hmm… Does that mean Izo and my half brother will get a mission devoted to them as well…' he blinked before he looked at Rei 'Wait…'

"Now you said you would call me Twity," remarked Joshua instantly.

The ashen haired girl looked at him dumbly "Wha- No way! You're back to normal, again!" Joshua blinked at her as he thought 'I don't know why, but I am curious to why I am rather relaxed than angry. Very interesting, hehehe…'

He closed his orange phone and sighed, "Naturally, it would seem so Rei."

Rei stuffed her white cellphone back into her hidden black satchel, then after that she raised two fingers as she piped, "All set, partner?"

Joshua had no idea of why, but he smirked as he mused politely "It would seem so, Rei."

He thought it was smart of Rei to have a white cellphone, it would stand out in her black satchel.

There was a void of confusion in Joshua, shouldn't he be still angry. But he knew his anger was erupted and settled on his half brother, the thought made him only fume a little this time.

Just as Joshua noticed that Rei was about to stroll over to the rancor Reaper he called teasingly "Hmm, hey Rei… Where are you going?"

"To 104 of course," she pivoted on her feet until she faced him with a cheesy grin, "Why do you ask?"

With a short pause Joshua shook his head sighing before he mused "Are we sure that we need to go, that way?" as the RG passed through him making him feel weird he tilted his chin up with a frown as he mindfully remarked "Because the mission is so vague that we can't be sure yet where to go, get what I consider?

Her face blanked a moment then she widened her eyes and flicked the side of it with her fingers "Eh, hehehe…"

'Now she's back to normal.' the billboards above gave advisements amid above them as Joshua clarified "The mission just says, 'Recover the noodles' brilliance.' doesn't that mean that we have to do something with someone's mind of that matter?"

Rei grabbed her chin and hung it closing her bright brown eyes as she hummed nodding "Hmm… Very good. Very good." her eyes opened with a gleam as she went on "But I just heard the word 'Noodles' and thought of Dogenzaka."

Three jingles and vibrations from Joshua's phone came and he took out his phone "Eh?" he opened it up and saw the word 'Noodles' there in a text under the word 'Meme'. For some time Joshua looked at it furrowing his ashen blond eyebrows as he mumbled "A 'Meme', how… mystifying?"

"Hey! It's a Meme, Aleck!" Joshua gave Rei a confused look as Rei wagged her phone above her head.

"What's a 'Meme', Rei?" asked Joshua politely as he sighed 'As always, energetic and crafty.'

After Rei slung her arm around him she piped with a bright expression that drained into a dumb expression "Oh it's- ah... I just read the word."

Joshua blinked at her half amused and half annoyed, 'Rei…'

"H-Hey!" she said suddenly and let him go, "Maybe that 'Meme' thing is apart of our mission. I mean, come on!" she held up two fingers with a smirk "The word 'noodles' may mean we DO need to go to Dogenzaka, that place has 'Ramen' for crying out loud Aleck. With the noodles, and the 'soup', and the 'meat', and the 'broth', and the 'toppings'! Especially with 'kakuni' and 'nori'! Mmm…"

A lot of three jingles and vibrations meant some more Memes.

Giggling, Joshua thought the way that Rei acted was hearty and funny. As Joshua faced the way to the rancor Reaper he teased, "Sounds like you are a Ramen Geek, you must really like ramen if you talk this zealously about it."

"Born and raised in the soul of the ramen sector, Dogenzaka," she said happily with a hearty chuckle, "Ramen is my favorite food. But Izo hates it, can you believe it?"

"Naturally." replied Joshua with a laugh.

The thought of Izo eating ramen could never be vivid or believable; it hurt Joshua's soul and mind to try and think of that.

But his half brother never had ramen; maybe once they come back to life they can go try ramen at Dogenzaka. If Rei and Izo were to come back to life as well they could all have a ramen party.

Only the problem was, right now they were Players.

In a game called the Reaper's Game, where dead spirits roam.

And they had to get their entry fees back.

Mostly, his half brother's.

"Well," Rei had brushed an ashen bang to the side, "Let's go to Dogenzaka!"

Joshua did a curt nod to respond.

They ambled across the Scramble Crossing to the rancor Reaper that Joshua felt was amusing, as soon as they reached sight of him the rancor Reaper gave a glower "You again!? Why does the Game Master make missions in the districts near my post?"

As all the RG citizens passed through all of them, Joshua smirked "Maybe he likes shopping."

For a second he gave Joshua a glare before Rei giggled "Hehe wow… To think of it, Aleck's right… We've had 5 days with missions mostly here!"

'Yeah, and Rei sure is sharp sighted and minded.' as Joshua flattened his neat shirt a bit and he nodded, but he could tell that the rancor Reaper looked more pissed than usual. Even now, Joshua's fierce anger from before was faltering, sadly he clung to the part of it that it was Ayumu's fault.

That petite blond half brother of his, needed to give him a clear answer of why he erased that Reaper. And soon…

A gruff grunt from the Reaper got Joshua's attention "Grr… Feh, fine. You may pass… only if you erase these Noise first." before the two Players could react the rancor Reaper cracked his knuckles as his amber eyes blazed, "I need my existence as much as you two do!"

Above them Noise symbols appeared, two Chump. They swam around through twitches until they dove down onto Rei and Joshua, at the same time a brilliant source of light hit them and the Noise.
