Song Listened To: I Don't Like It, I Love It by Flo Rida ft. Robin Thicke
*Chapter 150*
"All you have to do is get him out of the garage," Tej whispered to Tessa, he had quietly joined her and Orph from behind the foliage to help aid in kidnapping Zed. His bright green eyes followed the line of movement his hand and pointer finger drew in, "Just get him outside, I'll lasso him, and Orph'll go in for the kill."
"Kill," Orph repeated in a hiss of a silent laugh. He slumped his masculine shoulders, through his lazy yellow tank and cocked an eyebrow, "There's clearly no getting rid of him. He can't even kill himself. He's like a cockroach."
"What do I even say to him?" Tessa wondered quietly as the three peered around the building, yet again. They were thankful for the distance, as they were out of whispering-earshot of Zed.
"Offer him food?" Tej wondered quietly, he gripped the thick rope Orph had given him.
"Offer him sex," Orph wheezed another laugh, he squinted his eyes and covered his mouth and chin with the back of his hand, in a boyish way.
"Just say you're lost," Tej deep voice urged over Orph's immature chuckling; Tessa looked Orph over in growing annoyance, "I'm sure that'd get him out of the garage."
"Alright... I'm going in," Tessa stated confidently, under her breath.
Both boys nodded as Orph collected himself. They watched Tessa take one final, readied breath and slowly begin to saunter out into the open. Her bare feet finally met with the concrete of Zed's garage and drive-way. With the way Tessa's hands folded behind her back, in girly charm, Orph crossed his arms in a relaxed way, cocked an eyebrow and was prepared to take mental notes on his very first eye witness of her trickery and the skill-level of her game play. He smiled in growing cheek and softly nudged Tej, though his youngest brother shot him a confused once-over.
"Y'think she has sisters?" Orph wondered, he tried to seem collected, though he largely flinched once Tej massively stifled a snort of a laugh. Orph dropped his lazy demeanor and gestured nervously, "Shut up! I know you were thinking it, too!"
"Let's focus on one family member at a time, Orph, geez," Tej shot Orph a snarky smile. He ruffled his pale green hair, in an annoyed manner, and tried his hardest to relax his tense shoulders.
Tessa tried her hardest to rip her line of focus from the two boys behind her, that continued to silently laugh and bicker. She shut her eyes tight, rolled them once, and reopened them for clarity's sake. She took in a nervous breath and sudden felt very alien approaching Zed. She tried her hardest to keep her footwork confident; she knew she'd have to really turn it up if she were to attempt to goad Zed out in the open. She furrowed her eyebrows and felt a cold wash come over her. She realized she had nothing to use as a prompt. She almost was hoping maybe Zed would say something first, though the way she drew up to him, alongside the way he kept his strong attention glued to his craft, she knew she would have to rip off the bandaid.
"Ahem," Tessa cleared her throat and bashfully came to a slow stop, alongside a gentle sweep of her hair over her shoulder. She flinched with a girly smile as Zed's head flew up in surprise. Tessa raised her eyebrows in baited wait as Zed froze and assessed her curiously.
"O-oh, uh... Hi," Zed uttered softly as he finally relaxed his bare shoulders, he gave Tessa a look of growing cheek and delighted surprise, "Didn't... Didn't I just see you at the game's entrance earlier?"
"Yeah, you did," Tessa urged kindly as she continued to fiddle with her hair, though she nervously looked about Zed's familiar garage. She furrowed her eyebrows and realized that, throughout the few months her and Zed have been together, this loft had gone untouched. Everything looked mildly sprinkled with dust. Tessa exhaled a long breath and spoke through the sigh, "I-I... I need your help."
"My help?" Zed wondered nervously as he began to stand, his jet black hair was messier than prior, "Is everything okay?"
"I'm just a little lost," Tessa gave Zed a girly look of coy helplessness, though she could swear she could hear Orph and Tej muttering things to each other. Tessa grit her teeth and tried her very hardest to restrain from yelling at them to shut up, "I-I'm... I'm looking for uh... Selka's house."
"Selka?" Zed asked quietly, though Tessa almost fell over backwards with the massive sweep of deja-vu she was feeling; the way Zed's shoulders began to droop with sorrow, the fact that the late charmer of the town still had an upper hand on getting the ladies. Even beyond the grave. Tessa almost laughed with the way Zed's eyes lazily sloped to the ground in mild defeat, though he pushed a kind smile through albeit the soft let down, "Right, Selka... I think anyone whose anyone is looking for Selka, eh?"
"Yeah, I guess... He asked me to stop by, earlier, and, well," Tessa trailed off and peered out onto Zed's drive-way. The small hill, he was on, was lightly crowned with beautiful, small jungle trees, "I guess I walked too far. I'm just glad I bumped into you."
"I'll help yah," Zed urged kindly as he took a step closer to Tessa, though he wrinkled his nose and looked as if he had re-gained hope. He dusted off his hands and though he stepped closer to the exit of the garage, he still stopped short. Tessa could swear she was about to bite a hole through her bottom lip, "You'll go down this hill, and Selka's home is just past the quad... Big gathering area."
Tessa nervously peered about the small sliver of Zed's old town that could be seen from the tip top of his small hill, though her pretty eyes finally hooked into his with charming inquisition. Zed nervously pushed on as his electric blue eyes couldn't leave hers, even if he wanted them to.
"I-If... If you've past the blacksmith, you've gone too far," Zed's voice grew quiet as Tessa took a small step closer to Zed. The two hung on the last few inches of shadow out of Zed's garage.
Tessa kindly looked about Zed's face, all features she was more than familiar with, though the fact that his mind was vacant and replaced with someone else's almost made his mannerisms and facial features otherworldly. She assessed his strong shoulders, his tall and powerful figure, though his tender hands fiddled with his own fingers just near his center, as if to absentmindedly express to her that he, indeed, exuded power though with tender intention. He cocked a black eyebrow, lightly swallowed a gulp and tried his hardest not to let his eyes wander Tessa's beautiful figure; she was dressed in her tight, black racing pants, of which she wore for the sake of travelling through Tron, alongside her dark t-shirt.
"Remind me your name?" Tessa cued sweetly, though Zed's eyebrow rose higher as he choked a small breath and fumbled on a few words, as if he potentially forgot; which he did.
"Zane," He uttered as the beginnings of a smolder began to unfold across his face. Tessa finally could sense complete and total stillness from Orph and Tej, who were clearly on the edge of their seat from the show.
"Tessa," She replied as she kindly reached her hand out for a handshake. Zed politely shook her hand and let his smile grow even wider.
"I-I hope you uh... Find what you're looking for," Zed uttered, though Tessa could tell he was on the verge of being let down. The way his hand softly slipped from hers, alongside his single step back, Tessa began to panic as he stepped away from the shadow he was so close to crossing.
"Wait, uh..." Tessa held up her hand and gestured to him, though he froze in anticipation, as if he truly didn't want to let her go. Tessa softly looked over her shoulder, to the town, contemplated for a second, before she brought her charming attention back to Zed. She gave him a look of coy helplessness and bashfully fiddled with her hair again, "Can you maybe, uh... Show me the way? I'm terrible with directions.
"Oh, sure!" Zed urged with an elated smile, though he clearly tried not to seem too eager. Him and Tessa shared a few bashful chuckles and notions.
"I-I promise I'd get even more lost, and then," Tessa trailed off, shrugged her shoulders, and pierced his gaze, "Then, I wouldn't know where to find you, for help."
"I-I'll get you there," Zed stated kindly, though just as Zed was about to step out of the shadow and straight into Orph's and Tej's trap, he froze and lightly reeled his sludge attention to Tessa's. Tessa bit her lip and tried her hardest not to seem too obvious, though she almost was about to give him a final shove, "... Whatdoyahsay we ditch this whole Selka idea?"
"What?" Tessa's face sloped to naive surprise, though she was stunned with just how bold Zed was being; she knew if Zed's coding was alongside his actions, in this moment, he'd be a lot more bashful and timid. Tessa cocked an eyebrow and was nearly floored as to just what he was insinuating.
"I-I mean, are you thirsty or anything?" Zed wondered politely, he began to reel back with growing nervousness as he rubbed the back of his head, "You seem to be new in town, and well... I-I know everything about this little town. I can give you the run down, if you'd like? Before we head out?"
"Well, it's kind of urgent," Tessa pleaded with an apologetic smile as she finally stepped out into the sun, as if to encourage him to come out as well. She lightly reached out and, with a simple, slow swipe of her fingers against his forearm, she could tell luring him out wouldn't be as difficult as she thought. He took a blind step forward and was one step away from being duped. Tessa continued on, the way her hair fell over her shoulder, the smolder she sent in his bashful direction, she was nearly floored by the look of glossed surprise that hung on his demeanor, "Why don't we just stroll, then? We can chat on the way?"
"I-I'd like that," Zed's polite, deep voice draped over her in such a way that gave her hard chills.
She breathed an elated giggle and, the second the powerful sun made his jet black hairs glisten to a near honey brown, she took a hard few steps back and largely covered her face in anticipation. With a loud few grunts, from all three boys, Tej largely fastened Zed's figure with the rope as Orph sacked him, lightning speed. Zed's body, inside the thick bag, flopped to the ground, though he began to squirm in growing fear, as well as a few grunts of confusion. He began to call for help in an urgent manner, though Tessa exhaled a hard laugh and, once Tej stood from his position, over Zed, the two largely high-fived.
"Awesome work," Tessa encouraged, Orph stood and pointed down to Zed with a beaming smile.
"Alright, you idiot! I have witnesses, I sacked you good!" Orph shouted, Tej nudged him.
"Just don't tea-bag him, please," Tej muttered, though Orph whirled around and gave his youngest brother an incredulous glare of excited surprise.
"This is Dead Zed, not Trouble In Terrorist Town," Orph barked, though just as he was about to continue arguing with Tej, Tessa let loose an ear-piercing chirp of a whistle.
With a sudden pop of the jungle tree that Lickity was perched in, her massive wings let her glide down to the small cul-de-sac of Zed's single drive way. Her powerful wings flapped a few hard downstrokes as she hovered directly over the squirming black bag that housed Zed. Tej and Orph held their hands up to shield themselves from the sun as they gazed up at Lickity in awe. Lickity bellowed a soft inquiry to Tessa as she hovered over everyone, her tan wings made everyone's hair and clothes whip around from the wind. Leaves, as well as the jungle bushes surrounding all began to flicker with the draft Lickity was creating.
"Alright boys," Tessa laughed as Lickity reached her clawed paw and arm down for Tessa. She lightly grappled Lickity's long, sharp dew claw and, with a foot up from Lickity's paw, she climbed aboard her dragon and pat the top of Lickity's head, "Follow me!"
Lickity huffed a hard breath of steam through her nose and, with all of her grace, her back feet firmly gripped the bag that Zed was in and, with a harder downstroke, she gained altitude and continued to hover for a moment. Both Tej and Orph began to scramble back to where Duke, Jax and Finn were, as well as all of their bikes. Tessa chuckled in a knowing way and peered down at Zed's beautiful loft. She peeked about Lickity's body and, once she was aware of Lickity's tight grip on the bag that Zed was in, she gave Lickity's neck a firm pat, to insinuate that they were ready for take off.
"Let's fly," Tessa called.
