Chapter 27 : The new beginning.
I looked at Sasha how she parried the blows of someone and tries her own attack. She is a fine trainee. Very eager to learn and takes advice to heart and improves. If all altmer who loves alinor are like her the second war with the empire will be secure. I chuckled at that. We secured our own borders so all efforts will be directed at the empire. After a while Sasha stopped and ran towards me. "Did you see that father. I will become the greatest fighter ever." She said jumping up and down. I chuckled at that and rubbed her hair messy.
"Go and pack your bags we will leave tomorrow." I said looking at her. She smiled and walked away. When she was gone i went to the other part of the courtyard where the new legionnares where assembled. "Listen up me !" i started. "Soon we will march to Skyrim. We will show the empire there weakness soon enough. Their back stabbery only helped them for so long. Together, we shall act as one. The empire will fall before the might of our blades and Arrow." I raised my fist in the air and everyone cheered. I waited until the cheers died down. "now go home and spend time with your loved ones because tomorrow we will set sail and do our duty." The men saluted and walked away. 'this is the moment we make our ancestors proud. We won't fail.' I started to make my way to the throne room. Ever since the Thalmor fell in line everything became better. The towns and city's reinforced. Bandit activities died down and the army numbers swell. Some resistance still fight but soon they will join us.
I entered the great hall, i saw my mother talking with some canonreeve and some battlereeve's. i waited until i was called forward. "the Red Legion will move to skyrim soon." i looked at the reeve's. "i will sow chaos, other legions will cause trouble in other part of the empire. the day we are ready to strike the filthy imperials. they won't have any reinforcements. the redguards are a bit trickier. but with our spies we should be able to cause those crowns and forebearers to fight eachother rather then focus on us." my mother smiled. the reeve's all nodded. i departed and went to check on sasha and some legion soldiers without family living.
