He looked at them. He shook his head in disbelief, he was utterly flabbergasted to what he heard. He had heard what was said and yet he could not comprehend the situation at hand. He felt like he was in the twilight zone. He stared at Bonnie and Klaus. He cracked a smile and got up from where he sat.

"Okay...Let's say this is true.." a pause. "How did it happen?", Damon rebutted while he stared at the two with scrutiny. " Haha, Alright-Take it easy", Bonnie said as her eyes sparkled with giddiness. The woman got up as she put her arm around the waist of her tall and raven-haired best friend. The petite woman's form was completely masked by his lanky and yet muscular form.

Klaus watched the exchange between the two as he smirked. He had this wolfish and devious grin. Bonnie turned around to look at Klaus as his mouth once more curved into this grin and his cherry lips made her want to savor them. Talk about sexual tension.

Damon sat down back on his love seat. He clasps his hands together as he observed his two friends' gazes locked and the timid, sheepish and almost high school crush scenario unfolded before him.

"Alright, I am waiting-I didn't sign up to watch the two of you eye f**K-", Damon said impatiently. He shuddered for emphasis. It seemed that the idea of Bonnie and Klaus together rubbed him the wrong way. The thing that this was not supposed to happen.

Bonnie and Klaus-?!- this was not happening. Damon thought.

" Ah, such potty mouth. By the way, can you wait? Patience is a virtue you sure need to acquire", the caramel-skinned woman replied in a patronizing tone as she gave him a playful shove. While Damon eyed her with suspicion and his lips went to a thin line. Bonnie looked at Klaus. Klaus leaned more on the couch with this nonchalant demeanor. He smiled blithely. His long arms stretched along the couch as he gave her a nod that said go on.

"So, are you guys for real?-Seriously", Damon said as he sat up straight on the seat. Klaus nodded.

" Mate- It's true. I have yet to decipher how this happened but she has bewitched me".

Klaus winked at Bonnie as his hands grazed hers lightly. Bonnie blushed and smiled bashfully. Damon's eyebrows furrowed. He rarely did this and he felt like his moralistic brother saint Stefan.

"Oh-Ok. This must be-No Way!", His oceanic orbs bulged as he looked at Bonnie and Klaus. He had known this woman since she and Stefan were in middle school. He remembered when he first met her. It was quite the story and let's just say it was not smooth sailing.

He shook his head.

"Damon- Aren't you happy? - I mean on a good note you won't get to hear us fight as much". Damon began to laugh. He sobered up from his laughter.

"Alright. I get it. You two are going on date. Please don't kill each other. Have fun".

"Well, glad to hear we are getting your blessing-", Bonnie said with sass. Klaus just smirked as Damon's eyes gave his signature eye roll.

" Hold up- I am not giving any blessing to this- that you have going on. Nope Senor!-Why cause I am not getting the blame for anything. OH and just an FYI if you end up dead Klaus...Well, you've been warned!". While the raven-haired man folded his arms in a commanding manner.

"What!-Demon, you have some nerve. Listen we are going to go now before you end up dead and this girl right here ends up in jail", Bonnie said with humor and a hint of annoyance in her voice.

"Alright, I think we've received an omen from this lad. You know what just cause you said this you will get a treat!", Klaus said as he got up and landed a big kiss on Bonnie.

Bonnie looked at him as her eyes bulged and she pulled back as she smacked him lightly on the chest. " Alright-seriously!', Bonnie said as she tried to catch her breath. Meanwhile, Damon sneered and said " You see this-this is what I am talking about. You two are a train wreck. But seriously please don't get into it. I would like to have you two in my life. So, please make this quick. I mean have fun".

Bonnie stuck out her tongue at Damon. She let out a blissful sigh, " Yeah, we will. So stop being negative a Nancy will you?!".

She walked in a coquette manner towards the door. Klaus decided to trail behind her as he took glances of the woman's form.

He mouthed to Damon 'I can't wait to get up on that!". While his hands rose as if he were to frame the woman's body within his hands.

Damon feigned to shuddered in disgust, " I didn't hear nor saw that!—My catholic ears and eyes!".

The caramel woman spun around and looked at Klaus. " Hey, Caveman… Are we going or what?!".

"You- little", English accented voice resonated through the hall. Klaus smiled with mischief. He turned to Damon.

"Honey don't wait up tonight-Later!", the accented English voice responded.

"Yeah—later".

Damon rolled his eyes as he wondered how?

Klaus chortled as it echoed down the hall. The azure Casanova tugged at the petite woman's hands. She turned back to stare at her best friend. He just waved his hand with shoo-ing motion at the petite woman as he smirked and winked at her. The woman was not sure why she didn't feel at ease. There was something about Damon's reaction that didn't quite set with her.

She let out a sigh as turned back at her date. Deep down she was still astonished at how she ended with him.

Damon closed the door as he re-ran the scene in his head. Klaus and Bonnie. No way he had to be in a 'PRANK' episode.p

Utter disbelief crossed his olive face. He dug into his jeans as he found his Nexus. " Ric. My man. So, are WE going out tonight or not?"

"Hell, yeah. Say we meet at 10 pm?"

"Sounds good—Oh before I forget. Klaus is not coming-" as his lips went into a thin line.

" What?!-No. He promised man. You know what screw him. But when I see him".

" I know Ric. But there is more"

" What is it?"

" The bastard ditched us. He ditched us for a hot date—shmsh"

A grunty sound mixed with what sounded like scoff was heard. " So, what happens to the philosophy of Bros before hoes..."

" Hey, easy man. Don't call his date a Hoe", Damon snapped.

" Am - I missing something?" Ric asked. Damon shook his head as ten seconds of silence filled the call.

" Eh-I got nothing. But let's not get wrapped up in this. Cause the night is ours!", Ric added.

"You got that right-See at 10!"

"Alright", Ric replied.

Flashback

The melodious dissonance of the Jazz music resonated throughout the coffee shop. Her unruly curly mane peaked out of the textbook in front of her form. Her heart-shaped face hidden from the rest of the world and yet her curly mane gave a timid invitation to have eyes on her. It basically sparked curiosity to whoever walked by to see the person behind the textbook.

She was engulfed in her psychology textbook. You see Bonnie Bennett wanted to be a psychologist. Ever since she could remember the hunger and the insatiable want to understand why people did the things they did always drew her in. Well, on this day her sweet and quiet day came to an end.

Bzz. Her phone shook against the Hardwood table. She looked at her cell phone with disgust.

"WHAT?"

A Long pause as a deep breath escaped from her lips.

"Yeah-Well guess what I am not dealing with you. YOU better STAY AWAY FROM ME". Her hands were shaking as she gripped tightly to her phone.

Staff in the café looked at her as her voice rose an octave. Bonnie slammed her phone as she hung up. She got up and gathered her books quickly. She did want to forget everything that had happened.

She scurried out of the café. She looked around as she got into her car. She began to shake as a sob escaped her lips. The memories were always painful.

A few hours...

" Oh come on Bon!", whined the bubbly voice. Her lips went into a thin line. She shook her head violently as her curls wreathed around her face. All the caramel beauty wanted to do was sulk. She did not want to go out. Hell, she was feeling like crap. Since her breakup and the pain that she endured prior to making an abrupt decision.

She felt like part of her had died. No, it was not completed because of the breakup but more of what he had taken from her. She felt that she had allowed this and now she could not get it back. She blamed herself and she felt shame. She still found her self healing from this. She has yet to tell her best friend about what had occurred.

Secrets of tainted love. She who continued to give herself to this man despite his selfish and dismissive attitude towards her. She who loved him and pushed through against the warning signs. Yet, Caroline never knew of such pain. She had masked it well. Damon, on the other hand, was never sold on the fact the things were great.

When she announced her breakup, Damon appeared to be on cloud nine. Bonnie felt a bit relieved. However, she was stifled by the memories of the relationship she had with this guy. She who always stood tall. Who appeared to be strong, had allowed this person to exert so much power over her. She allowed him to hurt her and she took it for months.

But she had risen above it. Yet, fear and doubt found it ugly head at the sound of his voice. She thought she was over it but she was not. Her chest still trembles at the images and the traces of his mistreatment. Bonnie still had not come to terms with what happened. She had yet to speak those words out loud to herself or to anyone really. To her it was as if she were to make her trauma more real. Despite this she presed on. She could only survive. Just like the women in her family had done in the past. They were Bennetts.

She came back to her senses as she looked to her best friend. "FINE".

"You are coming?!-Seriously?", squealed the blond as her form spread against the petite woman's form.

" You are smothering. I can't breathe', Bonnie said against the weight of the blond.

"Oh-My bad Bon!-You already said it. We are going". The blonde's aquamarine orbs stared at the caramel-skinned woman keenly. Her hopeful eyes pinned Bonnie in place.

"YES. BUT if don't stop right now. I may change my-"

"Nope, None of that We are going out Bonnie BENNETT", finality found it way in the blonde's voice.

THE CLUB.

Why did she agree to this? She was quite unsure. But one thing is for sure she was not going to let the blond annoy her to death with her whinnying and pouting for the rest of the night. She has such soft spot for the blond and saying no was so hard. Granted she wanted to not think about depressing thoughts and well she decided to accompany the slender blonde to this place.

Once at the club. Caroline began to dance. Caroline got the caramel woman to loosen up as they took another shot of patron. Bonnie was laughing and giggling as the alcohol made it's way through her system.

After taking a break, Bonnie went to the bathroom. She freshens up. Caroline ran up to her and said, " I just spotted a hottie. About to make a move"

Bonnie nodded and said, " Alright. Be careful".

"Always". The blond disappeared into the crowd as Bonnie walked up to the bar. She orders another drink. This time she aksed for a shot of tequila. She scanned the room as she saw Caroline dancing with the guy already.

She looked at look down to find herself in a very skimpy skirt which just showcased her caramel silky legs. She was still in awe how she manages to allow the blond to play dress up with her. She shivered slightly at the cold breeze.

Unsure of her next move. She shut her eyes close for a mere second as she let the burning sensation of the tequila travel down her throat. She hacked at the itching in her throat and heaping whop took hold of her. Letting the air fill her lungs as she concentrated on breathing. She then open her eyes. The dark and flashing lights distracted her for a second as she scanned the room.

Then she saw it. His broad shoulder and lanky form stood out to her. His cropped blonde hair as he leisurely stood on the corner of the dance floor holding a beer bottle. She bit her lip as deviated in whether her premeditated actions were the right thing to do.

To hell with it. Just go have fun, Bon. She heard the small voice that much to her surprise sounded like her bubbly best friend's voice. She walked towards him as she l stood in front of him. She had yet to take in his face. Not that she was too concern. It was if she just wanted to kiss someone and didn't care at the time of their aesthetics,

She ran her hand down her curly mane and stared at her legs uncomfortably. She felt self-conscious now. She shook her head as she dismissively pushed the thoughts of away.

The blond man in turn appeared to engage in conversation with a brown-haired man. Bonnie impulsively took hold of his shoulders as she closed her eyes. She felt him lean and come down to level with her.

"Woah-Hey", escaped his lips. She ignored the sound of his voice as her lips pressed against his. His lips initially remained shut but after a second they seem to come alive. His lips move softly against her as he then deepened the kiss. She felt his tongue swipe languorously against.

It beckoned her to allow him access to her mouth. She obliged as she shut her eyes tight. Her skin prickled at the touch of his stubble. It rubbed lightly at her cheekbones. She found herself lost in the sensation of his touch. She felt his hands trailing towards the curvature of her back. His hands lightly caressing her body.

She felt the strong arms snugly hold onto her waist as his hands pulled her form into his. Their flushed form as the alcohol took over the petite's woman senses. She ravished in the session as the kiss progressed to get hot and heavy. He pulled away as she then felt the drift of air making it known of his departure from her lips.

"Bonnie?", escaped from his lips. Her muddy green orbs fluttered open. Her eyes widen in disbelief as she stared back at the shocked blonde.

"Klaus!", she shouted as one hand covered her mouth and the other one clenched behind her. Her form retreated away from his. She placed as much space between them as he shook his head in attempts to sober up from the shock.

She moved away running out of the club in embarrassment. He called out her name as he attempted to follow her. He lost sight of her as he tried to weave himself around the crowd.

"I can't believe this-". he said in amusement as he tried to reach Bonnie.

BONNIE. He had called out in the defeat. He turned around back to the club as a young woman made her way towards him. He entertained the woman's advances. However, he could not believe he had kissed Bonnie Bennett. Her supple lips with a hint of tequila engraved themselves. He could not forget. He was sure not to let her live it down.

The caramel skinned woman walked out of the club. She moved through the crowd as the loud thump of the base of the EDM filled her ears. Her brisk gait led her to the front of the club. Her chest heaved as she took deep breaths. Her hands trembled as she cradled her palms against her chest. She bit her lip. The sensation of his lips plagued her mind. Her cheeks were flushed. She attempted to calm herself.

BREATHE. She continued to scold herself. She fanned herself as she tried to calm herself. She was not going to lied. She was turned on. She didn't know kissing him would have such effect on. She really wanted to blame the alcohol for her lack of better judgemennt. But she couldn't that would be unfair. The woman knew that she did went up to him and kissed him. But in her defense she didn't really look at him before she realize it was him.

Why did it have to be him. WHY.

Breathe. She told herself. She took out her phone and texted Caroline. She was leaving.

JUST KEEP BREATHING. The caramel beauty said to herself.
