Hey guys! I'm finally back. I was busy with band, family problems, and my birthday was in October. I'd rather not go into detail. I should actually update next week, but not the week of Christmas. I'll probably be posting a Christmas one-shot that week. As promised, this chapter is OVER 3,000 words! Yeah for me! Anyway on with the chapter.
Words: 3,137
Disclaimer: I don't own Austin & Ally or any other shit you recognize.
It's been a few weeks since I've had that dream, and nothing weird has happened since. I guess that was just a random dream. There's still that part of me that thinks it's a sign…
The tour has been awesome! We've goon a lot of places, and they even let me sing a few songs with them! Since Ross & I announced that we are together, we've both gained a shit ton of Twitter followers with names like RauraForever29 and stuff like that. Our fans came up with the ship name Raura. I think it's adorable.
"Laura, this is our last place in the United States, then we get a week break before going to the United Kingdom. Are you excited," Ratliff asks me. Right now we're eating Taco Bell.
"Of course I am! I've always wanted to go there," I exclaim. "I can't wait for this show to be over, I want to go now!"
Little did I know this show was going to be very important.
When the show was over, we all hung out in the break room, instead of going on the tour bus.
"I'm gonna use the bathroom. I'll be back in a few," Ross says, kissing me quickly before he left.
"You two are so in love. It's nice that we all have somebody," Rydel says happily. I smile and look at her. She's not that far along in her pregnancy, so she isn't really showing yet.
"It's really nice, and I love him more than I thought anyone could ever love anyone," I announce truthfully. My smile is a mile long, and. I'm just thinking about him. Speaking of him, what's taking him so damn long? As if reading my mind, Riker speaks.
"Shouldn't Ross be back by now?" He asks. Everyone nods.
"I think I'll go look for him," Rocky states, and then leaves. He comes back ten minutes later, and Ross isn't with him. I look at him panicked. Did he find him?
"Where's Ross," I ask loudly. I'm really starting to freak out.
"I'm not sure, but I do know that he definitely isn't safe. I went to the bathroom, and saw a note on the floor. It'll for you Laura," Rocky answers. He hands me the note.
If you want your precious boyfriend back, you need to go on a bit of a scavenger hunt. Here' same clue to the first place: Where you guys first met, and kissed. ~Anonymous
"Can I get a ride to where the first concert to this tour was," I ask anyone that will give me an answer.
"Use the private jet," Ryland says, throwing a ticket. "It will let the pilot know that you can ride."
I nod, and call a taxi to take me to the place that the jet will pick me up. I should be there in a half hour. The place isn't that far from here, it's just quicker to go by jet.
Thirty minutes later, I'm at the place we first met. I open up the door, that was surprisingly unlocked, and go to the meet & greet area. I see a bright pink note on the floor.
Congratulations, you found the second note. Now here's a clue to find the next one: Where you first hung out. ~Anonymous
The mall! That's only a block down from here. I guess I'll just walk, or run.
When I get there, I see a highlighter yellow note on the yellow line between two parking spots. The same parking spots we had our cars parked in. The note said:
You found the third note. One step closer to finding your "true love". Here's the next clue: Where he stood up for you. Isn't it creepy that I know where all of this happened? It's not like I stalked you… ~Anonymous
That would be the smoothie place. Thank god the mall is still open!
I jog inside, and see a note taped to the floor, very close, if not exactly, where we were standing when he grabbed my hand. This time, it's neon green, and it's a poem:
This next place is very close to you,
It's where you first got together,
It's where you first screwed,
This is the place where you first said "I love you".
~Anonymous
Well that poem wasn't dirty at all… I do know where it is. It's at the house we used to live in before we moved across the street. We have a lot of memories in that house… I guess I have to call a cab, I'm not walking that far.
As I expected, the note was on what used to be our bed. This note is a lavender color:
Wasn't that last note creative. By now, I hope you know who I am. If you don't, you still have a lot of places to go. The next clue: Where you announced to the world that you were together. ~Anonymous
The studio on the other side of town. I guess I have to call that cab again…
I walk up to the door, and the note, which is dark blue, os on the door:
The door is locked, but that wasn't going to stop me. This next place is a secret place that he took you to the day after you got together. You should have to think really hard on this one, you've only been there once. ~Anonymous
Where did we go? I should know this, but I've only been there once. Oh my god! The treehouse, how could I forget the treehouse? I guess I should walk to this place. I going to be so sore tomorrow.
This note was red, and it was stuck to the tree with sticky tack:
Before I give you clues on the next note, I'll give you clues on who I am. Remember the call from a random number that didn't say anything when you picked up? Remember the crazy girl from the concert a few weeks ago? Do you remember the dream you had, the one about being kidnapped? That's all you'll get for now.
It's getting pretty dark isn't it? That's a good thing. This next place isn't all that special: It's where you went on your first date. Really think about this one. ~Anonymous
That's easy, Shave It! It's not that far, but I'm not walking anymore after I get out of the woods. I should have a cab wait for me, so I don't have to keep calling for a new one.
Once I get to Shave It, I see a white note on the ground:
I'm not sure if you will end up reading this, but I'll write it anyway. This is not the place I was talking about. There is a different place, and you are getting no clues on what it is. Think hard if you want Ross back. ~Anonymous
Where the hell did we go? I know I should know these things, but that was like four months ago. Wow! That's not as long ago as I thought it was…
After we went to Shave It, and saw my ex, we shared our backstories. Then we went to… we went to… THE ICE SKATING RINK! I'll call a cab. Again. I'm going to hate cabs after this.
Yet again, the note is taped to the door. It's neon orange this time:
Guess what? Only a few more left. These one will be very easy. After this note that is. I'm not giving you a lot of clues, but I'll give you this one: You also went here on your first date. ~Anonymous
We went somewhere else? I have no clue. I'll ask the cab, that I have waiting for me, to drive me around until I find the place. Why did this have to happen?
After about ten minutes, I asked the driver to take me to McDonalds because I was hungry. When I went in, there was a turquoise note on the first table on my left. Oh yeah! We went here after we came back from the ice skating rink. Only a few more notes after this one:
You finally found this note. For this next place, give your taxi driver to the money underneath this note. He will take you to this next place. Have you figured out who I am yet? ~Anonymous
I'm pretty sure this is Lizzy. I couldn't really be anybody else…
i guess I'll go pay the taxi. Again.
The taxi dropped my off at an abandoned amusement park at the, what people call, weird part of town. There was a makeshift sidewalk or candles leading through the tunnel of love. Obviously I followed it. I was definitely not expecting to see what was at the end of it.
Ross was in a tux standing next to a beautifully decorated table. Tears spring to my eyes. He did this for me. I ran up and hug him. When we release, I leans in and kiss him.
"That's what you get for doing this," I say. Then, I punch his arm.
"Oww! What was that for," Ross asks. He pouts and rubs the spot I punched.
"That was for making me think you got kidnapped! You couldn't think of anything better," I shout. He just smiles. This kind of reminds me of Christmas.
"Present time," Rydel says happily. Then she runs over to the couch. Mark and Stormie came over to celebrate with their kids. Stormie was at the tree handing out presents. As she did so, Ross and I were talking.
"I think throwing a party for someone full of stuff they hate would be the perfect surprise party," He says randomly.
"Why would you do that? They probably wouldn't be your friend anymore if you did that," I reply. Ross just sits there and smiles.
"Would you like to take a seat my love," Ross asks with his perfect British accent.O smile and nod. He pulls my chair out for, and once I sit, he pushes it back. Ross takes the seat across from me. Then a waiter comes out with two plates. On those plates were stakes with potatoes. We sit and eat while sharing little conversation here and there.
After that, Ross takes my hand and pulls me to the blanket laid out so we can look at the stars. Before we sit Ross takes my hands in his and looks deeply into my eyes as he speaks.
"Laura, I know we've only been dating for a month, but I love you so much. I wanted a way to show you," He kneels down on one knee. "I'm not asking you to marry me yet. I'm asking you to promise me that we will be together forever, and if you agree, this will be my promise to you." He pulls a ring out of his pocket.
"I promise," I say, holding back tears. Ross smiles holding back tears as well. He must really love me.
He slips the ring on my finger, and pulls me into a kiss. Yet another Christmas memory pops up:
"So Ross when are you gonna ask Laura to marry you," Mark, Ross' dad, asks. Ross blushes.
"When the time is right" He replies. Then he walks over to me and brings me to the tree.
"There is one last gift I have to give you," He told me. He pulls out a box, one that looks like it holds a necklace or some kind of jewelry like that. "This necklace was given to me by my grandma. She told me to give it to someone I really care about, someone that I love. You are that person."
"Ross, it's beautiful," I said. I turn around so he can put it on me. "I'll wear this everyday. I love you Ross."
"I love you too Laura," He replied. Then we kissed.
"I love you Ross," I say. He leans in and kisses me.
"I love you too," He says.
We spent the rest of the night staring up at the stars, sharing a few kisses here and there. Then, we went home. Today was perfect. I bet tomorrow will be horrible…
The next day, there wasn't any concerts, just a lot of driving. It's a lazy day for all of us, so we decided to a livestream. Yes, there is wifi on the bus.
"I think it's up. Now we have to wait for comments to see if they can hear and see us," Rocky says. The laptop is set so that I'm not on the screen. I'll probably be pulled in by Ross at one point. He likes when I sit on his lap.
While they do their thing, I play Circle. It's an app, and I suggest you download it. You tap the screen to make to circle jump, and you can't touch the line. It's more fun than it sounds.
"My lovely girlfriend, Laura Marano, will now join us for a little game of truth or dare," Ross announces suddenly. I walk over to them and, as I guessed, Ross pulls me onto his lap.
"The first dare is for Rydellington and Raura. Hannah dares you to kiss," Riker says, reading of his phone. Rydellington kiss quickly, and people are fangirling in the comments. Ross and I kiss for about ten seconds before pulling away. There were some people fangirling, but there was also some hate comments.
"The next dare is for Rocky. Sandra dares you to have an egg cracked on your head" Rydel reads. She then grabs and egg and cracks it on his head. This continues on for ten minutes, and then it's time to stop the livestream.
As I walked by the bathroom, to get to the bunks, I slipped and fell. I think I heard my arm break when I landed on it. I hit my head on the table and then I blacked out.
I woke up in a hospital bed with Ross beside me, holding my hand. I had a cast on my left arm, and an IV in my right hand. I look over at Ross to see helps asleep. I lightly squeeze his hand, which causes him to wake up.
"Laur? Your awake? Your awake! I love you so much," He says getting louder and louder each word. He kisses me quickly, then pulls away.
"How long have I been out," I ask. He starts to frown.
"It's been a week. We canceled what was left of the tour. The doctor didn't know when you were going to wake up. You hit your head really hard. Rydel has been a little more emotional too, and I don't think we should be touring while she's pregnant. Laura, I was so worried," Ross answers.
"I was really out for a week? What did I miss? Do my parents know,"I ask rapidly. I start to get worried, and Ross sees that.
"It's okay Laur. Calm down. You parents know. Everything's all right," He soothes. He kisses my forehead, and hugs me softly.
"Why do you call me Laur," I question. Ross sits up and smiles.
"I honestly don't know. I guess it's because there's tons of people named Laura out there, but there's only one Laur," He replies.
"Maybe I should call you Rossy Shor, or Bossy Rossy! That's perfect," I say, laughing. Ross gives me a look.
"I love you Laur, but that ain't happening," He smirks when I pout at his reply.
"You really are Bossy Rossy," I mumble under my breath. Apparently Ross hears me because I'm currently being tickled.
"You want me to stop Laura," He asks. I nod really fast.
"P-P-Please s-stop-p," I shout while laughing.
"Not unless you say that Ross Lynch is sexier than George Clooney," He says, still tickling me.
"Never," I shout. He just tickles me harder.
"If you say it I'll stop," He reasons. I sigh and give up.
"Ross Lynch is sexier than George Clooney," I yell, still laughing.
"I know babe, I know," Ross says cockily. He smiles when. I punch his arm.
"You're a cocky bastard, you know that," I tell him smiles and kisses me.
"But I'm your cocky bastard," He replies. I smile and nod.
"Yes, your my cocky bastard, and you know what? I wouldn't trade you for the world," I say. Ross smiles and kisses me. It was a slow, sweet kiss that had our feelings poured into it. Those feelings were one of the strongest feelings ever: Love.
"I love you Laura," He says, staring into my eyes.
"I love you too Ross," I reply. We kiss again. Things get a little bit heated, and that's when the doctor came in.
"Sorry to interrupt, but we need to check Laura every three hours. Now that your awake, we can tell you what happened," The doctor said.
"I fell and hit my head, that's what happened. Unless there's more to the story," I say.
"There is more to the story actually. Yes, you fell and hit your head, but that wouldn't knock you out for a week. We did some tests to see if there was genes for certain that could do that. We found none. That's when we asked you boyfriend over there if you were on medications of any sort. He said you weren't on any that he knew of. At that point we had no idea what caused that. Then Ross remembered you were on birth control, so we did a pregnancy test. Being pregnant would have be able to knock you out that long," The doctor explained.
"Did it come out positive," I ask, interrupting her.
"Yes, it did. Just to make sure we did two more, and they came out negative. You are not pregnant, but the birth control you are taking was the answer to our question," She continued.
"So it was because of the birth control I take," I ask to make sure I understood her correctly. She nodded. For a minute I thought I was pregnant. That thought kinda scares me…
That's it for now. I'm soooooooooo sorry about the wait. I'll try hard to be better at updating. My life has been super busy lately.
