The tall man with the impossibly long beard looked at the two teenagers. A normal soldier would not have noticed it, but to him it was clear: they were, desspite their looks, skilled warriors. "Who are you?"

"Name's Terry, and this is Ami. We're... Not from around here."

"I don't remember seeing you in Master Shao's camp. Are you with Zhuo?"

"We're not part of any of the groups fighting this battle," Ami said. "It's hard to explain, but we're not your enemies."

"Brother, I don't trust these kids," the slightly taller man besides them commented.

"In your place, I wouldn't trust us either," Terry admitted, "but would a Dong Zhuo officer bother with idle chatter, or would they just attack you?"

"That's exactly what they would say to make us drop our guards," the man snapped before slashing at Terry with his double voulge. Terry had moved to avoid the slash, which impressed the man, but Ami had actually leapt in its path and caught the blade with her bare hands. That left the man speechless.

"Fei, stop it."

Ami looked at the taller man. Guan Yu, if she had guessed right. "We mean your group no harm but we can and will fight back if you force us to."

Guan Yu nodded slowly. "I apologize on behalf of my brother. He can be a bit too... Enthusiastic."

"Nothing wrong with being eager to protect those you care about," Terry said.

The other man, Zhang Fei, shrugged. "I guess Zhuo's officers wouldn't have been able to dodge that. Means you're not with him."

"We'll be around for a while," Terry said, "so we could help you."

"You guys don't have weapons. Are you brawlers?"

Ami smiled as her tonfa appeared in her arms, shining blue with ice mana. "No, we are... Guess you could call us sorcerers."

Zhang Fei frowned. "So you guys have fancy tricks."

Guan Yu looked to the north. "We've been spotted."

Ami saw the large group of soldiers charging towards Guan's troops. "Fancy tricks, indeed," she said right before the enemies were encased in ice.

"That seems to be nothing like the cheap tricks the Yellow Turbans used," Guan Yu commented.

"So..."

"Your help is unexpected, but not unwanted."

Several dozens of soldier popsicles later, the group reached a small camp. There were many soldiers there, but the two Senshi could tell there were some strong warriors amongst them.

"We should dress up for the party," Terry said as they waited for Guan and Zhang to talk to their sworn brother Liu Bei. The man didn't look like much but Terry knew he could be quite the foe to face.

"You think the enemy forces will have strong warriors too?" Ami asked, noticing the way Terry looked at Liu.

"I'm sure there will be plenty of them, yes. If all plays out as I remember it, we might have to face a man known as Lu Bu."

"Oh I remember that name," Ami said, just as her clothes were replaced by her Mercury suit. "Sort of a blood knight, right?"

"Am I crazy or you changed your clothes while I wasn't looking?"

Dragon Mercury saw Zhang Fei walking to them. "These are our... Well, they may not look like it, but they're very strong armors."

"Let me guess, magic," Zhang muttered. "Anyhow, Liu wants to meet you."

"That I do."

Mercury bowed politely. "We will help in any way we can."

"Guan told me you aren't from around here. From where exactly are you? I've never seen armors like yours."

"I don't think you would believe us if we told you."

"I like to think I have an open mind."

"Okay," Terry said, "what if I told you we come from a different reality, one where you and your allies are part of a very old novel?"

"That's... Hard to believe. Guan told me you're mages?"

"In our world, we are warriors born with a gift, and a misson," Ami said. "we can manipulate elements and use them to protect our world from threats normal armies can't defeat."

"I think I know how we can prove our words. We could tell you about-"

"Terry, stop!"

He knew the way Ami was looking at him, and he knew why. "You're right. Us being here is already altering their future."

If Liu Bei was confused by that, he wasn't showing any signs of it. "If you're willing to lend a hand, I have a mission for you. There's catapults halting the advance of our allies-"

"I can see them. Want us to get rid of them?"

"Wait, you can see them? From here?"

"They're using their 'magic' most likely," Guan Yu said, answering Zhang Fei's question before the two Senshi could.

Liu Bei smiled. "That saves us time pointing you in the right direction. Destroy those catapults and our forces will be able to break past Hu Lao gate and attack Zhuo directly."

Terry smiled. "Consider it done."

Zhang Fei stared at the spot the two teenagers had been standing on for a few seconds before groaning. "Wizards. Feh."

The soldiers around the catapults were confused to say the least. They had expected the enemy to try attacking them through the small path leading up the hill, not to somehow appear next to them. And what was most confusing was that the two had simply destroyed the catapults and then vanished. Still, the soldiers knew being left alive was a formality. If Dong Zhuo didn't slay them for their failure, Lu Bu would. There was only one way to have a chance at surviving the battle.

Ami watched the soldiers from a distance. They were confused for a few seconds, but then started marching down the path, leaving the destroyed catapults behind. "Am I insane, or did their suits change?"

Terry smirked. "Yeah. They switched sides, I guess."

"But-"

"Logic and videogames only agree at times, Ami. Just go with the flow."

"I'll try. Should we go back?"

"No need, Liu Bei and the others are already marching to the gate."

"Already? But how did they know-" Ami saw Terry smile at her and sighed. "Right. We could just teleport inside and beat the boss."

"The boss is a wuss, the real warrior is outside the gates."

"There's only normal soldiers out there."

"He's there, but he likes dynamic entrances."

There were many warriors outside the gates, and the enemy soldiers were quite powerless to stop their advance. However, Hu Lao Gate, the entrance to the imperial city, stood unmoving.

If anyone was surprised by the two 'foreigners' suddenly appearing in the area, they gave no signs of it. "Welcome back," Liu Bei said, "we're preparing to break through-"

"Ah, these must be the two warriors I heard about! My most sincere gratitude for your assistance, you will be handsomely rewarded when-"

Ami didn't quite know who the man who had just walked to them was, but she could guess a few things from context. His clothing, made of eithet gold-colored silk or actual gold, made clear he was from a wealthy clan. His politeness hid his condescending tone. And since Liu Bei didn't seem to mind - or rather, chose to ignore - the man's rudeness, he was likely one of the leaders of their army. "We need no reward, we are just doing what we feel is right."

"Ah, righteous souls, such a rare find these days. I am Yuan Shao, leader of the Imperial-"

"Ugh, please shut it." Terry said, "We just need to break down that gate, right?"

Yuan Shao would have ordered his troops to kill the insolent foreigner, but chose not to. Despite not being a front line combatant, Shao could recognize power when he saw it, and the man, altough young, was clearly not one he wanted as an enemy. "Yes, I already ordered our engineers to assemble some catapults so-"

Terry camly walked to the massive gate and nodded. "No need to keep our foes waiting. Death Dragon Flight."

Ami knew Terry didn't need to call out his techniques, but she could guess he was trying to impress someone. The attack was quite impressive and she still remembered it knocking her out during a training fight. A large skeletal dragon appeared in front of Terry, then shot forth, hitting the large gate dead on. The gate seemed intact for a few seconds, but then fell down in a myriad of small fragments. "Showoff."

"Thanks," Terry said, then looked around. "Huge guy on a huge horse will be here in three... Two... One..."

The ground shook violently as something landed near the heroes. Ami could see Terry wasn't joking. The man wore heavy, black armor, and was at least as tall as Guan Yu. The horse he rode was also large, armored, and had red, shining eyes and both its mane and tail seemed to be made of flame. "Lu Bu?"

"Yep," Terry said. "Always wondered how long I would last against him."

The man leapt off his horse and looked at his foes dismissively. "None of you worms will get through! Face me if you dare!"

Several of the heroes called Lu Bu's taunt, but he simply slammed his weapon into the ground, the shockwave knocking them all away. Ami noticed the weapon was quite strange - two dual-bladed glaives clasped together at their center in a cross-like pattern, making them look like a man-sized throwing star.

Terry turned to Liu Bei and the others. He knew most of their names, but needed only name a few of them, the leaders of clans which would, in the near future, play important roles in their country's fate. "Lord Liu Bei, Lord Cao Cao, Lord Sun Jian, please leave this one to us."

"But Lu Bu is..."

"He's just fighting us because Dong Zhuo still lives. Defeat him and Lu Bu will have no reason to fight you - at least for the time being."

"Good luck."

Lu Bu saw the group running for the gate and leapt at them, ready to slash a few of them down. However, Ami and Terry both blocked his slash, the force of the blow causing them to slide back, but also causing Lu Bu to take a step back. He smiled at that. Few men or women could manage to hold their ground against him. "Maybe you two worms will be a challenge."

Ami frowned. In the past, she would have let others fight and help from the back row, but she had grown out of that phase. She smiled at the man. "The right question would be, can you be a challenge for us?" As she said that, ice shot up from the ground, encasing Lu Bu.

The man wasn't going down that easily, however. The ice cracked and then exploded, and Lu Bu leapt straight at Ami. "Let us find out!"

Ami tried her best to dodge, but her foe managed to hit her a few times. She couldn't find any openings, but she wasn't worried.

"Leave her alone!"

Ami saw a blur shot by, knocking Lu Bu back. It was Dragon Saturn, using his dual form. "Terry..."

"I can handle this!"

"I know you can, but a little help never hurts."

The Dragon saw Mercury's body shine, and knew what she was up to. In the months since the fight against Sailor Sun, Moon had been almost invincible in training. Usagi had became much tougher than anyone save Jupiter, and faster than anyone except Venus. Still, Ami had humbled Usagi down during one training session where she had started to get too sure of her power. With his help, which is why he knew Lu Bu was on the losing side now.

As the fight resumed, he realized the feeling was similar. From being able to barely hold up against someone, to being able to fight them evenly, slowly getting the upper hand. Usagi had told them, afterwards, that she knew sooner or later someone would figure it out, that teamwork could be the key to beating her even with the difference in power. She had been training all her friends, even though they thought she had let power get to her head.

He looked at Lu Bu. He was visibly tired, but still willing to continue. Problem was, Ami was also tired. What she was doing, what she had practiced for the last few months, drained her mana fast. She had learnt to use her own magic to buff others, without needing movement nor words. "Are you okay?"

Ami nodded. "If I could handle our battle against Usagi, there's no way I'll give up against some self-centered blood knight. It would make my best friend look bad."

Lu Bu seemed ready to fight, but saw a woman run to him. "Diao Chan?"

"Lord Lu Bu, the enemy has defeated Lord Zhuo. We need to leave before they get here."

Lu Bu was brave, but even he knew fighting all of the so called Imperial Coalition on his own would be tough. And he couldn't risk them hurting Diao. She could fight, well enough to have impressed him in the past, but for once he would leave that fight for another time. He looked at the two warriors and smirked. "I must admit you two were almost good enough. But we'll settle this another time."

Ami saw the two leave and frowned. "What a jerk."

Terry looked to the city walls and nodded. "He can be one, yeah. Anyhow, our allies are coming back, time to say bye to them."

"Wait, the watches are charged?"

"They were for quite some time, but I wanted to fight Lu Bu."

Ami just sighed. Terry was just being himself, but it was still annoying.

"This looks like our Tokyo," Terry said. They had appeared in that world only a minute earlier, but it was good to see a familiar place, after that world where everything was made of cubes, and their short stay in a dimension where a giant Raichu had been fighting Godzilla, a Gundam mech and a squad of Tie Fighters.

Ami nodded. True, most of the city looked like their Tokyo, but the tall, white tower in the distance. "This isn't our world, but... Let's explore for a bit."

"The teleporter needs a few hours to charge, so I agree, let's see what kind of weird this world has in stock for us."

Ami nodded, but then gasped as she looked down. "No way."

Terry looked down and knew why Ami was surprised. "Ami Mizuno Avenue, huh? When we do get back home, I'll go ask Rei's dad why there's no streets with our names in our Tokyo."

"You're joking, right?"

"Probably."

A/N: I'm aware any RotTK fan will know that's not quite how the story went for that particular battle, but that's to be expected when you throw two more superhumans into that mix. And since the games I'm basing that particular part of the episode on tell the battle slightly different each time, then I decided to follow their lead.

A Sailor Moon game developed by Tecmo/Koei and with the mechanics of their Warriors sagas is something I've ever wanted to see happen. Modern mediocre anime already got theirs, why not Sailor Moon?

And yes, I'm still calling Ami and Terry by their civilian names even whem they're transformed. Just trying to see if it fits.
