I don't own Hamilton
Kelsea's POV
The man looked confused and I considered calling the police. But he apparently felt like it should be 1790. Which to be honest, freaked me out. He sat down in a chair and held his head in his hands.
"Sir, are you okay?"
"To be honest, no ma'am I'm not."
"You really don't have to call me ma'am. You can call me Kelsea."
"Ok. So if it is 2018, who's the President?"
"That would be President Donald Trump. He's the 45th President of the country."
"Amazing! Is he a Federalist or Republican?"
"Our political parties have changed. If you would have based it off of your parties, he would probably be a Federalist."
"Interesting, what are the political parties now?"
"There is the Republican party, which is more like the Federalist party, and the Democratic party, which is more like the Democratic-Republican party. Also, women, African Americans, and others can vote. Basically, now you just need to be over 18 and a citizen to vote."
"Did you vote?"
"Yes I did. I voted for Trump because I felt he was the lesser of the two evils. The Democratic candidate was a woman named Hilary Clinton."
"What did you dislike about her? And women can be in a public office."
"I could rant for hours about politics, I'm a political science major. And yes women can. There has never been a female president. The former president, Obama, was the first African American president."
