"I feel so weird."

" What do you mean?" April asked rubbing the sleep from her eyes as she slipped out of bed to get ready for pre rounds.

"I mean I have this guy who is basically living with me and he doesn't really tell me about himself I have no idea where he even lives April."

"Why are you whispering?"

"I'm whispering because he's in the kitchen eating with Izzy and George and well know one knows about you so there is that."

"Right I'm the deep dark Grey secret."

"Hey you made yourself that way you're the one who didn't want to be known as a grey."

"Yeah, Yeah." April grabbed her tooth brush. "So Jackson has been even more annoying then usual I mean seriously I think he makes out with the nurses just to make me mad."

"Why does that even make you mad why do you care, do you like him April."

"Of course not he's Jackson freaking Avery."

"mmm hmm well I have to go before Derek comes looking for me."

"Yeah talk to you later." April hung up the phone and shook her head. No matter what Meredith said she was not in love with Jackson Avery.

Tell me you have something good." Meredith sighed into the phone.

"Hmm nope nothing good here all we have is a sprained ankle and a wife who throw a glass vase at her husband."

"Hey that sounds interesting tell me about that."

"Nothing much to tell a tiny cut that was quickly sticked up why what do you have?"

"A crazy person who thinks he has visions but who psyche won't take until Nuro clears him.

"Hey at least you're on Nuro that means seeing Derek."

"Yeah you mean the kind of maybe boyfriend who tells me nothing about his life." Meredith huffed.

"Holy Shit." Meredith heard a clatter and the phone went dead.

"What in the hell." April raised towards the doors of the Er where a man staggered in holding his hand over his eye a pin sticking out of the lid. "Sir come with me. What happened?"

"I was trying to fix something and I feel and the pin stuck in me."

"Okay." She turned to Jackson Page Doctor Matthews." Jackson nodded as April got the patient situated.

"April Kepner pick up the damn phone." Meredith muttered.

"Hey."

"Hey that's all you have to say what the hell happened?"

"Guy with a pin in his eye we barely saved the eye it was kind of amazing."

"Wow so I cut Derek off no sex until I get more details then he lived in New York and likes Ferry boats."

"Ugg I hate those." April shivered.

"Oh yeah I almost forgot about that."

"How could you forget three years old mom wasn't watching I took a tumble had to have 7 stiches in my forehead I still have nightmares some times. "

"Well to be fair I was three." Meredith chuckled. "And I think I may have pushed you myself."

"Probably." April snorted "Sounds like something you would do."

"So I'll talk to you later okay because I have to figure out why this crazy guy thinks he can predict the future."

"Uh maybe because he's crazy." April chuckled.

Meredith shook her head and shoved her phone into her pocket. She was glad to have her sister to calm her down. Glad to know that at all times she had someone in her corner.

Meredith was fuming as she grabbed her phone. "Lighten up he told me to lighten up."

"Oh shit that's not good." April shook her head as she charted for pin in the eye guy. "One second." April put her hand over the phone and looked at Jackson. "What can I do for you?"

"Can you take this guy because that nurse is really angry at me so I'd prefer to get eaten alive or anything."

"Let me guess you slept with her and never called her back."

"Um maybe." Jackson rubbed the back of his neck.

"Seriously you are the Male Version of Meredith."

"Hey I heard that." Meredith shouted through the phone."

"You were meant to sister dearest."

"I'm trying to have a healthy adult relationship you know if he'd give me more then New York and Ferry Boats.

"I know dear I know."

"Stop patronizing me." Meredith almost stomped her foot."

"Love you Mer I have to save Jackson's ass now." April blew an air kiss into the phone and hung up.

"Sisters sometimes I could do with out her." Meredith grumbled.

"What are you talking about Cristina asked coming around the corner?"

"Oh nothing." Meredith shook her head. "how's crazy guy."

"Not on that case anymore me and Izzy switched."

"Bailey actually let you impressive. I have to go talk to Derek and all." She waved as she went down the hall back towards nuro."

Meredith was feeling a high after being in that surgery with Derek. She was barely listening as he prattled on about relationships until he said he felt like they were in one and then her eyes snapped to his and her heart started to race and she got the familiar urge to run her hand slipped into her scrubs and tightened around her phone as she fought the urge to call April. She licked her lips. "Then show me something."

Derek leaned over. "Why don't you tell me something tell me who you always call I can tell you want to call them now so who is it." She went her lips again but before she could answer he'd swept out of the room her hand dropped from around the phone shaking.

At Mercy West April was getting sick and tired of the nurse who kept shooting glares at Jackson finally she whirled around and pinned her with a Grey patented glare. Listen lady he slept with you he didn't call you back he's sleazy but you know that all you freaking nurses know that so get over it." She went back to her patient who she could tell was trying not to laugh.

Meredith stood in the middle of the woods looking at Derek's trailer. She listened as he gave her information about his life before her. She smiled slightly as he rambled. She shook her head and she looked at him. She took a deep breath as he said "The rest you're just going have to take on faith."

She took a deep Breath. "I have a twin sister she's also an intern but not at Settle Grace that's who I'm always calling but very few people know and the only one who knows in the hospital is Richard. She walked towards the trailer and held out her hand. He shook his head. "I'll be in in a moment call your sister."

She walked into the trailer closing the door behind her. She dialed April's number as she flopped back onto the bed. "I helped save a man's life and Derek told me things about himself I told him about you and now I'm in his trailer in the middle of the woods."

"I yelled at a nurse and it felt good." April said a sher sister stopped rambling. "I'm glad you sound happy."

"I really am." Meredith sighed.

"Love you Lizzy."

"love you to Jane." Meredith breathed as she shut her phone and looked towards the door as Derek came in. she knew she'd always have her sister but at that moment it was nice to have someone else to."

April looked down at her phone feeling a tug of loss, she knew Meredith was slipping a bit farther from her.
