A/N: Hey guys. I know, I know, it's been a year ...again... since I updated and again on Kuroko´s birthday. I really try not to make it a habit to only update once a year but now I'm on vacation from work so I have more time and more ideas for Natsumi, so I hope you're not too upset or angry at me. But holly shi** I always feel more guilty when I see how many Favorits and Followers I get, I feel happy and excited but then I think you really have the patience of a being above to wait for my updates even though you saw that I updated a year ago. So Thank you very much and a double Thank you for my fans who are here since my story started and waited for an update.
Chapter 6: Two Weeks at Kagami's
As the trio came to the Kuroko houshold, Kuroko opened the door and let Kagami enter.
„Kagami-kun, you can lay Natsumi down in the livingroom until I finish packing."
Kagami only nodded at Kuroko and made his way into the living room and lay Natsumi down on the couch and sat beside her.
He looked around the room. It was the first time for him to be in Kuroko´s house. Kagami stood up as he saw a shelf full of photographs. He saw pictures of their parents, a young Kuroko who was holding a baby Natsumi, whicht made him smile because he never saw Kuroko that happy before. His eyes wandered to the wall where more pictures were hung before a noise from the couch startled him.
"Mhmmm~" He watched as Natsumi was sitting up and rubbing her eye and looked around confused until she noticed Kagami.
"Ohayou Taiga-nii. Why are you at our home? And where is Tetsu-nii?"
Kagami walked to her and sat next to her. "Kuroko is packing some things for you and him."
Natsumi tilted her head confused. "Why?"
Kagami smiled down at her. "Because your brother and you are going to live with me for the two weeks where your parents are away."
Natsumi looked surprised at Kagami until she beamed up at him.
"So like a really long sleep over?" Kagami only nodded at her and ruffeld her head. Natsumi sprang down from the couch.
"Then I should help Tetsu-nii with the packing", she said before starting up the stairs where she found Kuroko in her room packing some clothes.
"Oh, Natsumi-chan do you wanna help me pack?", Kuroko asked her as he noticed her standing beside him. She only nodded with a big smile at her brother. Kuroko gaver her her backpack.
"Alright, you pack everything in there you want to take with you, ok?"
"Alright."
Natsumi ran to her bookshelf first and packed some storybooks and paintbooks and crayons, her red bouncyball shouldn´t be left behind either. She ran around her room and looked for stuff to take with her. After she noticed that the bag is nearly full, she climbed up her bed to get a black panther which looked like he's wearing a scowl and a red lion with a red and a yellow eye. She packed the panther in her bag and the lion she was holding in her hand. She was dragging her backpack out of her room into the hallway to shout for Kuroko who left her room after he finished packing her stuff.
"Tetsu-nii, I'm finished."
Kuroko looked out of his bedroom and smiled at her.
"Alright. Leave the bag near your door and I take it down later. You can go ahead to Kagami-kun."
Natsumi nodded at her brother and ran down the stairs back into the livingroom where Kagami sat in front of the TV and watched a sports show.
Natsumi climbed up the couch and sat next to Kagami and snuggled into his side. Kagami, surprised at first at her presence, lay his hand over her shoulder and drew her near him so she was more comfortable.
After some time Kuroko came down with 2 big sportsbags, his schoolbag and Natsumi´s little backpack. He looked at the duo on the couch with a smile and shot a picture before either of them noticed him. Kuroko coughed to get their attantion. Both of them looked simultaneously to Kuroko.
"Are you finished?", asked him Kagami. Kuroko thought for a moment before nodding slowly.
"I think I got everything."
"Good. Then let's go."
Kagami stood up and helped Natsumi off the couch. Natsumi then walked to Kuroko until she stopped for a second before running by Kuroko into the kitchen. She came back with something in her hand.
"Tetsu-nii, we nearly forgot something really important."
Kagami looked down at her puzzeld. "And that would be?"
Natsumi presented Kagami the fabric she held in her hand which is a small apron with a picture of a bitten on cake on it. He looked at Natsumi puzzeld who looked him straight in his eyes.
"How else can I cook with you without my apron on, Taiga-nii?", she said in a deadpan voice. Kagami patted her on the head with a laugh. "True that."
He looked back at Kuroko who took the apron from Natsumi to give into one of the bags.
"If you're ready let's go."
Kuroko nodded and gave Natsumi her backpack before taking his bookbag. He wanted to take one of the sportsbag but before he could take it Kagami already took both and made his way to the door.
After Kagami noticed that Kuroko and Natsumi didn't follow him he looked back and grinned at them.
"Well, shall we?"
The siblings looked at each other with a smile before nodding and making their way to the road together with Kagami.
The way to Kagami´s apartment was a silent one but after they went in and Kagami set their bags down in the guestroom he went back into the livingroom where Natsumi stood in the middle and looked around with surprise. Kagami wanted to say something but before he could say anything, Natsumi said with astonishment: "Sugoi Taiga-nii, your home is so…", she paused for a moment and Kagami thought she would say something like empty, big or…. "clean!"
Kagami nearly fell down, he certainly didn't expected that. What made it worse was the little laugh Kuroko let out.
"Why wouldn't it be clean?" Natsumi looked at him.
"Well, in kindergarden the boys always say that boys are always messy so I thought you would be too, butTetsu-nii and Shin-nii-chan aren't messy people either, so maybe not all boys are messy. But I really like your home, Taiga-nii."
She beamed up at him and Kagami smiled back at her.
"Alright Natsumi-chan, it's time to go to bed."
Natsumi looked at Kuroko and pouted. "Already?" Kuroko looked at the clock.
"Yes already, come on let's change into pajamas."
He picked her up and went to the guest room. After some time both came back out only to go into the bathroom to brush their teeth.
After they finished, Natsumi went back into the livingroom where Kagami sat on the couch already changed. As Natsumi reached him she climbed on the couch and held herself up while holding onto Kagami´s shoulder. She streched herself a little more and kissed Kagami on the cheek who blushed and looked schocked at Natsumi who only smiled at him.
"Good night, Taiga-nii."
She got down and ran to Kuroko who tucked her into bed.
Natsumi wanted to stay awake a little longer but sleep soon took her into dreamland.
~~The Next day~~
Kagami already stood in the kitchen and made breakfast as Kuroko came out of the bathroom with Natsumi on his arm. As he looked at the two and couldn't help but laugh. It seems that Natsumi had the same bedhair syndrom like her brother and to see both of them eyes still half closed with nearly identical messy hair it was a sight to behold.
"Ohayou~", both greeted Kagami with a slight yawn.
"Ohayou~ You two can sit down already, breakfast is nearly finished."
So Kuroko sat himself and Natsumi down by the table and waited for the food to come.
The trio were eating nearly in silence exept the praise Natsumi gave Kagami for the tasty food. After breakfast was finished they changed and made their way first to Natsumi´s kindergarden which wasn't far away from Seirin.
As they reached the gate, they were greeted by the kindergarden teacher.
"Oh Kuroko-kun, Natsumi-chan, ohayou~" Natsumi smiled.
"Ohayou~ Masaki-sensei."
Masaki-sensei looked at Kuroko. "Your perents already called that they're on a business trip…again", he said with a little heat in his voice.
"So, is Misao-san picking Natsumi up for the duration again?"
Kuroko only shook his head.
"No, I'm going to pick her up and when I'm having class duty or comitee meeting than Kagami-kun here is going to pick her up if that would be ok with you?"
Masaki looked sceptical at Kagami who grew more and more uncomfortable with each second of starring. Finally, Masaki nodded.
"That's fine with me but I expect that you're keeping a good eye on her."
The 'or else' was heard by everyone without it even being spoken out loud. Kagami nodded furiously.
"Of course."
He barely could prevent himself to salute to the teacher who only nodded satisfied at him.
"Alright, then say good-bye to your bother Natsumi-chan and let's go in, ne?"
Natsumi beamed at Masaki and waved at Kuroko and Kagami who waved back at her.
"Bye-Bye Tetsu-nii, Taiga-nii!"
Natsumi and Masaki-sensei went into the building, Kuroko and Kagami made their own way to school.
After school hours were over Kagami made his way to practice while Kuroko made his way to pick up Natsumi after telling Kagami to tell Riko where he is.
Kuroko picked Natsumi up from kindergarden and made their way to practice. While the team had their practice Natsumi sat at the bench and changed between watching and coloring. As the practice ended Kagami, Kuroko and Natsumi made their way to the store to buy everything for dinner.
As they came back home Kagami made his way into the kitchen to put away the groceries and start cooking. Kagami prepared everything but stopped as he felt a tuck on his shirt and looked down to Natsumi. Natsumi looked shyly up to Kagami with her apron in her hand.
"Can I help you cook?"
Kagami smiled at her, got a chair and put her on it. As he was sure that she wouldn't fall down, he helped her into her apron and put his own on. He continued to get out the ingredients for curry. Of course, Kagami wouldn't give Natsumi a knife in the hand, but he gave her carrotts to peel with a special kiddy peeler he bought today.
Of course the cooking wasn't silently done, while Kagami was cutting, he explained to Natsumi why and what he did and how it would taste better and as the time was right, he showed her how his rice maker worked.
While Kagami and Natsumi were cooking, Kuroko was leaning on the counter and observed everything with a smile and made a few pictures of the two.
Dinner was ready and Kuroko felt watched as he scooped up the curry and he looked to his side only to see Natsumi stare at him. Slowly he ate the spoonfull and chewed on it and Natsumi grew more and more nervouse the longer he wouldn't say anything. He smiled at her after he deemed it too mean to let her wait any longer.
"It's really tasty. Good job Natsumi-chan and Kagami-kun."
He looked to Kagami at the end who sported a slight blush.
"Arigatou Tetsu-nii", said Natsumi and began to eat as well.
Fom then on the days went by as the last with drawing, cooking, watching Tv, story telling with each other. You could say everything went on normal until, one night, Kagami would remember as one of his most emberassing nights of his life.
Natsumi was already asleep as Kagami sat on the couch as out of nothing Kuroko sat down in his lap with his face to him and wanted to kiss him. Kagami covered his mouth with his hand and pushed him away.
"What the hell do you think you´re doing?", Kagami whisper-yelled at him.
"Why, kissing you of course, Kagami-kun."
He looked at Kuroko horrified. "Are you crazy? Your sister is here too."
Kuroko only pushed his hand away and got nearer again.
"Yes, but she's asleep right now and I'm sure she wouldn't wake up soon."
Kuroko kissed Kagami on the cheek and Kagami blushed but relented and held Kuroko by his neck and kissed him fully. The kiss turned more heated the more they kissed but before they could fall fully into their desire a voice called out.
"Tetsu-nii, Taiga-nii?"
Kagami was so shocked that he nearly threw Kuroko off his lap if he hadn´t had such an iron grip on him.
"Natsumi-chan, what are you doing awake?"
Natsumi only looked first at a deep blushing Kagami and a slightly flustered Kuroko.
"I heard a noise and that woke me up. What are you doing?"
She walked to the couch and climbed up and looked at Kagami.
"Ne Taiga-nii, did you have a nightmare?"
Kagami looked at her still blushing. "Why would you think that, Natsumi-chan?"
"Well, Tetsu-nii always hugged me when I had a nightmare. So you don't need to be emberrassed. We could sleep together so that you don't get any more. Ne, Tetsu-nii?"
Kuroko only sighed but plastered a smile on his face.
"Sure, that's a good idea, right Kagami-kun?"
Kuroko stood up from Kagami´s lap. Kagami only nodded.
"Yeah, good idea. You can go ahead I'll come in a minute."
"Alright." Natsumi tooked Kuroko´s hand and nearly dragged him to the bedroom.
As the siblings went out of the room, Kagami only buried his head in his hands and just wanted to be swallowed by a big hole right here, right now. He calmed down and drank a glass of cold water before he went to the bedroom to finally go to sleep and hoped to forget this embarrassing moment.
Two weeks went by faster than everyone thought. Kuroko and Natsumi packed everything and made their way to the door. Tomorrow, their parents would be back from the trip, even though Natsumi was happy to see her parents again instead of just hearing their voices over the phone, she was going to miss to see Kagami every day. As the two stood at the door and Kagami waited to see them off, Kuroko picked Natsumi up and stood in front of Kagami and Natsumi motioned him to come nearer and as Kagami leaned down Kuroko and Natsumi gave Kagami a kiss on the cheek at the each side. Kagami recoiled and blushed right up to his ears.
"Bye Taiga-nii, it was really fun to live here. You teached me a lot about cooking. Hope we see each other soon again." Kuroko nodded at Kagami with a smile on his face.
"Arigatou, Kagami-kun. We see each other tomorrow."
Kagami could only nod at him but smiled at Natsumi and patted her head. "We see each other soon Natsumi-chan. Bye."
Kuroko then put Natsumi down and took their bags and went out the door and on the way home.
Kagami only leand back on the wall and looked at his empty apartment. "It's going to be really quiet now", he sighed and made his way to the couch and turned on the TV.
