Amethyst liked lazing about. There's just something so nice about relaxing all of her limbs and letting all of her hair splay out around her – not a single care in the world, that's wickedly pleasurable.

"Amethyst, must you lie right in the middle of the floor?" Pearl's affronted tone brings a smile to Amethyst's lip, which only ticks Pearl off more. "Amethyst!"

"Come on, Pearl!" Amethyst snickers, opening one eye lazily and giving a good stretch. "It feels awesome to just relaaaaaaax."

"I know how to relax," Pearl rolled her eyes, her arms crossing. "I prefer to not do it on the floor. Especially one I haven't swept yet."

"Have you even tried it?" Amethyst yawned, grinning as the sun warmed her middle. "I mean, the sun on your belly and your hair all out and your mind goes all blank – it's awesome."

Pearl doesn't answer, she stops wiping the kitchen counter and stands above Amethyst. "Like sleeping?"

"Nah, kinda like I guess your meditation junk." Amethyst shrugged.

"You said meditation was stupid." Pearl snorted, joining Amethyst on the floor, her lithe legs tucked underneath herself.

"Oh, it is!" Amethyst laughed as Pearl poked her several times. "Whaaaat? It sucks to have to sit up straight for that long. It's easier to 'empty your mind and junk' if you lie down."

"Hmmm…" Pearl sounded skeptical. Amethyst was mildly surprised to feel Pearl lie down next to her. Amethyst didn't even need to reopen her eyes to know that Pearl's was as stiff as a board.

"Dude, which part of relax didn't you get?"

"This is ridiculous." Pearl sat up. "How can anyone relax lying on the floor?"

Amethyst rolled her eyes, but stood up and grabbed Pearl a pillow off of the couch. "Try this, might help since you don't have a ton of hair for a pillow."

Amethyst didn't expect that to help much, but it was rare for Pearl to try new 'Amethysty' things, so she was going to try to prolong this for a little while longer. They hadn't really hung out without arguing about something for a really long time – even though bickering was sometimes fun, Amethyst missed the old days.

She hadn't realized that they both must've drifted off until Garnet's standing over them both with a little grin on her face.

"You two taking a nap?"

"We're chillaaaaxing!" Amethyst wiggled her fingers. "You want in?"

"It's actually quite pleasant." Pearl sighed, eyes still closed. "It's like unguided meditation."

"You just had to ruin it." Amethyst grinned. She's not that surprised when Garnet joins them. Garnet lies down right between them, declining a pillow and easily relaxing with a big sigh.

Amethyst's not sure how long they just sit there, but it's Garnet who brings them out of it. Garnet's hands gently pressed into both their abdomens. "Stay down, trust me."

Amethyst can just barely catch the blue glint of Pearl's confused eyes, but they both obey. In a few seconds they hear tiny footsteps stomping up the stairs.

"Whoa, buddy slow down!" Greg's laughs. "You're gonna-."

There's a loud thump.

"Fall…" Greg's footsteps quicken and then stop. "You good, buddy?"

"Yeah, cause I'mma big boy now!" Steven said, walking up to the door and pushed it open. He's wearing a little backpack and what looks like a paper crown decorated in glitter and sequins on his head. "Garnet said so."

"Well, Garnet's not ever wrong." Greg shrugged, pausing as he took in the scene before him. "Um…"

"Oh no, Daddy!" Steven yelled, stumbling inside and dropping everything in his arms. Three colorful paper crowns, decked out in glitter and sequins, tumbled to the ground. "Wha' happen?"

Greg inched forward, keeping Steven behind his legs. Amethyst peeked open one eye and winked. "Um, I don't know buddy. Maybe they're just sleeping?"

At that Steven walked closer, tripping over Garnet's legs and crawling up to her chest. "Sleep? Like in the movie?"

"The movie?" Greg picked up all of Steven's stuff, aware that when Pearl opened her eyes she wasn't going to be too pleased with the glittery mess. He lumbered up the stairs to put everything away.

"Snowy White!" Steven explained, as he poked Garnet's cheek. "The princess fell asleep and the beautiful prince gave her a kiss and she woke up!" Steven pouted as he rubbed his chin. "They probably only need a kiss."

The not-so-subtle frown that had been on Pearl's face since they had entered the house suddenly disappeared.

Steven quickly kissed Garnet, Amethyst and Pearl in quick succession. When they didn't move, he tried again. Amethyst began to giggle.

"Ah ha!" Steven pounced onto Amethyst, a wave of kisses in his wake. "I knew it would work! Yo' welcome, 'princess' Amethyst."

"Ah dude, you got drool in my ear!" Amethyst laughed, rolling away. Steven jumped next on to Garnet.

"Princess Garnet might be tough…" Steven mumbled, a tiny hand rubbing his plump chin. "'Princess Pearl, prepare to be awaken!"

Steven burrowed into Pearl's neck, giving a full frontal kiss assault. Pearl might have held out a little longer, but somegem decided to tickle her along her sides.

"Garnet!" Pearl squealed, sitting up with Steven still attached to her chest. "That's not fair!"

"I dunno what you're talking 'bout, I'm still sleep." Garnet snickered quietly, a wide grin threatening to break her façade.

"Pearl, Garnet is sleep-talking." Steven explained, planting one more kiss on the tip of Pearl's nose. "My kisses can only awaken her up!"

"Wake." Pearl corrected with a sigh. She placed Steven on Garnet's chest and then a mischievous smile came to her face. "Actually, why don't Amethyst and I help you out?"

Amethyst rolled back over, face twisted into a confused pout before she recognized the wicked glint in Pearl's eyes. A giant grin filled Amethyst's face and she hopped onto her hands and feet. "Yeah, let us help you out!"

Garnet chest jumped up and down silently, tiny little snorts escaping as Steven burrowed into her neck, crawling up her face. She could barely contain herself as thin fingertips danced along the plane of her abdomen, while another pair of hands poked along the sides of her chest. When Steven firmly planted his lips against her cheek and blew a raspberry, she began to laugh.

"I woke her up!" Steven shouted, sitting in Garnet's afro while the fusion squirmed. Steven turned to Greg, looking extremely happy with himself.

"Good job, dude." Greg gave a thumbs up, as he headed down the stairs. "I'm gonna leave you with your newly awakened princesses. Play nice."

Greg walked out, a fond smile on his face.

"Okay, I think she's learned her lesson." Pearl sighed, sitting up and stretching. Amethyst giggled, crawling onto Garnet's lap, who was still catching her breath.

"She's totally awake, nice job Ste-man." Amethyst grinned.

"I wanna be the princess now!" Steven insisted, tumbling off Garnet's head and onto Pearl's pillow. "I'm sleeping now! Only a prince kiss can wake me!"

"Weren't we just princesses?" Pearl smiled. "I think I'd prefer to be a knight."

"Nah, I'm still a princess." Garnet snorted.

"I'd be an awesome prince." Amethyst snickered. She bundled her hair over her shoulder and made a bushy mustache to balance on her lip.

"Why don't you just shape shift one?" Pearl asked.

"Because, nothing beats the main mane." Amethyst snickered. "Plus, I think I want my princess to have a mustache too." With practiced hands she separated a bushy bundle and delicately laid it across Steven's lip.

Steven gently smoothed it, eyes wide. "Garnet come here so I can let me see me."

Garnet leaned forward and balanced on her elbows, her visor now Steven's temporary mirror. Steven gasped, "I am the most 'beautifulest' pwincess now." He laid back down immediately, squeezing his eyes shut as hard as he could. Amethyst gently removed herself and rocketed upstairs, eyeing up the mass of glitter on Steven's bed.

"Ooh, I found me a crown." Amethyst hopped back down the stairs, all three paper crowns balanced atop her head. "I'mma need my princess to have a crown too."

"He's already wearing one." Pearl pointed out.

"My princess needs two." Amethyst shrugged.

"Kissssing." Steven sung quietly. "I'm still sleep, just…just saying."

"Dude, our princess is kinda a brat." Amethyst crawled over to Steven. "But, a prince is gotta do, what a prince is gotta do." She nuzzled into Steven's cheek, making sure to make the squeaky noise he liked so much.

"I still not am awake." Steven whispered, stealthily peeking an eye open. "Some more might help."

Pearl delicately draped herself next to Steven. "I don't know about this." A swift peck against his temple made Steven burst into giggles.

"More." Steven whispered, his eyes shining. He shut them quickly as Garnet leaned over.

"Don't worry, I've got this." Garnet cracked her knuckles. "Prepare to be awakened."

Garnet dove, throwing Steven up into the air. She caught him easily, smothering him in kisses. After he was nearly faint, she suddenly had a wicked grin.

"Now that I've awakened the princess, I think I need revenge on the prince and knight." Garnet grinned. Steven nodded enthusiastically, the pair looking happily devious.

In a flurry of abnormally fast movement, both Amethyst and Pearl rocket in different directions, wordless squeals of protest following in their wake. Garnet launching after Amethyst and Steven toddling quickly after Pearl.

Their revenge is swift and sweet.

A/N: Sorry for the long wait. I haven't written for this in a long time, so apologies if it "feels" different. Still getting used to it. GUWS (this fic) is probably going to come to an "official" end next year. I'm going to try and wrap up all the loose story ends and any last prompts I want to write before I start graduate school in August 2019.

This being said if you have a prompt you really want to see before I officially end everything then please send it before the end of this year. After Dec 31, 2018, I won't be accepting any new prompts and I'll be working only on finishing the fic.

Thank you for reading! See you next week.
