Part Twelve: Back To Normal... Mostly.

A/N: I haven't had a lot of smut in this story. And I have labeled it as a mature one. So this chapter will mostly have a little Dean and Reese lovin in it… If you prefer to not read it, the next chapter will be up soon… ;D

The last three days had been a whirlwind. Coming face to face with Gods. Seeing Gabriel die at the hands of Lucifer. And seeing Lucifer, face to face. It had been a huge wake up call that he had been the real deal. He murdered his brother in cold blood. Not caring about anything but the mission to find and possess Sam. As for her and Dean well... that was another hurdle.

Reese had been giving Dean the silent treatment for three days now. She knew that Dean had played the angels by making them believe he would say yes. But in a way, she also felt played. Sam had let it slide off his back, but, for some reason, Reese took it more personal. Sam and Dean were brothers, using each other to get out of a sticky situation was normal. But Dean and Reese had a more personal relationship. Intimate. So, she didn't let it slide too quickly. Dean had tried to talk to her, reason with her. Tried to explain why he did what he did, but she wasn't listening to him. Deep down, she knew why he did what he did, and she wanted him to grovel a little bit.

On the fourth day, they were sitting at Bobby's, going through old books, lore and anything they could to see what they could do to stop the battle of angels. Dean smirked to himself as he watched his lover across the table from him. She wasn't wearing her normal hunting style clothing, more of laying around the house in pajamas. Tight pants and a tank top. She had her knees to her chest and a book laying on her knees. Her blue eyes glued to the pages of the book. She was beautiful. Her face a blank surface as she read the words before her. Dean stood to his feet and walked behind her, his fingers gliding across her shoulders, sending a shiver down her spine. She turned her head and watch him saunter into the kitchen to grab a beer. She smirked to herself, knowing exactly what he was doing. She returned to her book as she heard his footsteps return. In the corner of her eye she saw him place a beer in front of her. She looked up at him and simply said thanks. He nodded back to her. She watched him set back down and throw his feet on the table as he opened another book. Footsteps coming down the stairs is what brought her mind back to reality. Sam walked behind his brother and patted him on the back.

"Bobby and me are going on a milk run, do you two need anything?" Sam asked, looking between the hunters.

"Beer. More beer." Dean mumbled. Sam nodded and looked to Reese.

"Uh, just a couple of snacks for me. I need some brain food if we're gonna spend all of our time looking through lore books. It's driving me insane."

"All right." Sam chuckled. "We'll be back later then." Sam said, grabbing the keys to the Impala and making his way to the door.

"Be careful with her Sam. I remember the last time you drove her." Dean yelled as Sam opened the door.

"I'll drive her right into a ditch then..." he shouted before Dean could make a comeback. Dean shook his head and got comfortable again. Reese laughed to herself before resuming. After ten minutes of reading the same paragraph three times, Reese sighed as she slammed the book closed, jolting Dean out of his concentration.

"I'm gonna go take a bath." she said to no in particular. "Hopefully that will relax my already melted brain." she walked behind Dean, gave him a quick peck on the cheek, thinking it was time to let go of the grudge. Dean hummed as he walked away with a little more sway in her hips. Dean turned and watched her walk away, admiring her from behind. He raised his brow and thought that maybe he'd join her.

Reese sat on the edge of the tub and let the hot water flow over her fingers. She was starting to wear down, and what better than a nice hot bath to wash away most of her troubles. They had a plan to stop Lucifer now. Find the rings, find the cage. Now they just needed to find the other two horseman and that was proving difficult. They didn't have time to stop and gather their thoughts, wind down, take a break, nothing. She was in desperate need of a break. If it was only for a day, she needed a break. She had gotten over Dean wanting to say yes to Michael. It wasn't the decisions he did that made her angry. It was the actions he did that scared her. The very thought of losing him scared her. She knew the risks of hunting, but she had never loved anyone like she did Dean Winchester. And that scared her.

Once the tub was filled to her liking and the bubbles covered the top of the water, she peeled her over worn clothes off her body and sank into the steamy warmth of her bath. She let out a long sigh as the water hugged her body. She hummed and leaned back to relax. She could hear Dean footsteps moving around the house, She peeked an eye over to the door when they stopped. She didn't hear the chair creak as he sat down, or book pages being flipped. Part of her wished he would walk through the door and join her. She could use a little unwinding. She smiled at the thought. And just as she thought it, the door to the bathroom creaked open and in peeked Dean's head. Reese raised her head to look at him.

"Mind if I join you?" He asked, still standing in the door way. Reese shrugged under the water, causing the cloud of bubbles to move for her. He nodded and walked to the sink, laying the things he had in his pockets aside. He placed his wallet and pocket knife on the seal and removed his flannel. She could hear him moving behind her, items of clothing coming off one by one. The sound of his belt buckle clacking against the floor let her know that he was completely naked. She moved forward enough to let him sink in behind her. The water level rising because of his bigger form. Stream spilled into the air as Dean let out a contented sigh. The hair on his legs scraping against Reese's calves and his arms swimming around her. She leaned back into his chest and relaxed for the first time in days. She still had her hair in a messy bun, so Dean reached up and pulled the band out and released her hair. It fell beautifully onto her shoulders. Dean cocked his head to the side, noticing that she didn't budge. Reese was so relaxed she didn't feel Dean move. Dean reached up and moved her hair from her shoulder to the other. He leaned down and peppered kisses across her blade. It made her skin pimple with the contact. She let out a small sigh and ran her hand up his leg. She laid her hands on his thighs and squeezed. Dean made his way up her neck and to the side of her throat. Reese let a quiet moan escape her lips as Dean's hands ran up her smooth sides. She could feel him against her back as she pressed harder into him. Dean bit his lip as he tried to control himself. Reese leaned back to look at him, she could see the love in his eyes as he leaned down to claim her lips. They devoured each other. They had slept together before, but this was so much different, so much more. Reese reached up and tangled her fingers in his short hair, exploring his mouth with her tongue. Dean's hands moved over her, feeling every inch of her body. After playing the game long enough, Reese turned around so she was facing him, never losing contact with his lips, she ran her hands down his arms and up his chest, his skin smooth and wet against her fingers. Her hand traveled down his chest and stomach until they reached it's destinations. She could feel him in her hand, hot and ready for her. She moaned against his lips as he ran hands up her back and in her hair. She scooted slightly until she was right over top of him, she lowered her hips onto him, sinking down to feel every inch of him. She let out a long moan as she laid her head on his shoulder. She never thought her bath could turn into this, so she smiled. Smiled as she rocked her hips slowly against him, making him breathe hard against her ear. He held her close as she rode him, feeling every part of her. He latched his lips against her throat, bringing moan from her. She whispered in his ear, pleading for him.

"God, I've missed you." she moaned against him. He held her tighter, scared that she might disappear from him.

"I've missed you too." he replied, capturing her lips once more. Her motioned became quicker, needing to find a release. Dean placed his feet firmly against the bottom of the tub and moved his hips with her, creating an exciting rhythm for them both, sloshing water into the floor. His teeth clamped against her shoulder and she cried out in pleasure. She was getting close, she could feel the knot of heat boiling in her belly as Dean moved in and out of her center.

"Dean…" she gasped, throwing her head back, their motions causing the water to spill over the lip of tub even more. Dean threw his head into her shoulder, moving her body as she was wracked with shear pleasure. She screamed his name, waiting for his release. His hand ran down her body as his fingers found their destination. He rubbed her in all the right places, making the knot of pleasure build once more. He was getting close too, he continued to rub her center as she moved her hips hot and quick.

"Reese, I'm gon…" he never got the words out as she crashed her lips to his, catching his moans and his pleasure as he came. He held her tight against his body as she rode out her second orgasm. The water around them became cold, and the bubbles Reese added were long absorbed by the water. Water or sweat rolled down Dean's forehead as Reese reached up to wipe it away. She smiled at him, a real toothy smile as she kissed him again. He could feel so much love behind her kiss. "This water is really cold now…" Dean said, shivering slightly. Reese chuckled.

"Maybe we should get out and get dressed…" she said softly. Dean nodded and waited for her to move. She kissed him one last time before standing and wrapping a towel around her body. Dean remained sitting and watched her climb from the tub to the toilet where her clothes lay. She smiled at him before leaving the bathroom. Dean sighed and stood, letting the cool water drain as he stood and dried off. He pulled his boxers over his hips and walked out. By the time he had reached Reese's room, she was dressed and in the middle of braiding her hair. He walked over to his duffle and grabbed a pair of ripped jeans and a black t-shirt. After pulling the shirt over his head he leaned down and pecked Reese's cheek. She smiled at his touch. They heard the door downstairs open and heard Sam and Bobby laughing. "I think that's our cue to get back downstairs." Reese said, looking at Dean through the mirror that sat in front of her.

"Yeah, I'm hungry. Hopefully, they brought pie." Reese rolled her eyes and tied off her hair and stood to her feet. She wiped her hands across his chest, smoothing out his shirt. She patted it and walked to the door, Dean on her heels. Once they reached the bottom of the stairs, Sam had just finished putting the beer into the fridge. Reese walked over to Bobby, who started looking through the lore books again, and put her hand on his shoulder. He reached up and patted her hand a she sat down beside him. Dean grabbed a beer and his beloved slice of pie and sat down also.

"So, we need to start looking around for signs and omens for these rings." Sam said, flipping open a book.

"I don't care if it's just a run in the mill hunt, I have got to get out of this house. I'm starting to get cabin fever." Reese chirped, Dean shaking his head in agreement. Bobby nodded once and closed his book and began reading newspapers from around the surrounding areas. After a few minutes of turned pages and notes being written, Bobby stopped on an article about women, who had just given birth, dying during childbirth or going completely insane after birth.

"That sounds like a case to me." Reese said, looking at the paper. "Le Port, Indiana. That's not far from here. Nine, ten hours, maybe."

"Yeah, but it doesn't really make any sense. Mother's die every day in child birth." Sam said, sipping on his beer.

"Not really. Not the way they are dying. Their insides are being a mangled mess? And some of the RN's have reported that during birth the mother would spout off some kind of prayer in a weird language." Bobby said, continuing to read the article.

"And that right there makes it weird. Just our kind of thing…" Reese standing to make her way to her room to pack. Sam and Dean nodded to each other and finished their beer. Bobby folded the paper and headed to the library to man the phones whenever the trio arrived to their case.

Reese laid in the back seat of the Impala, listening to the sound of her engine rumble throughout the car. Metallica playing softly through the speakers. Sam scrolling through websites on his phone, looking for any more valuable information on the case and Dean, well, he kept his eyes on the road. Sitting relaxed in the driver seat, one hand on the wheel, the other laying across the seal of the window, and his fingers tapping along to the music. Reese smiled to herself, loving the old fashion hunt they were driving toward.

"It's a demon." Sam said, finally landing on a lore site.

"What kind of demon?" Reese asked, sitting up the back of the front seat.

"In some religions, there's a demon called an Incubus. They swoop in and shape shift into the woman's husband or lover, get them pregnant and watch the fun." Sam read.

"Sounds kind of kinky to me.." Dean said under his breath, Reese slapped his shoulder.

"And I called the hospital with the latest mom death and she repeated the words they were saying. It's latin for a very old exorcism. It kind of makes labor more bearable to give birth to a tiny demon whose literally eating it's way out." Sam said, shaking his head in disgust.

"Yuck. Remind me that I'm never having kids. You just ruined that for me." Reese said, holding back the bile in the back of her throat. "It kind of pisses me off though. Giving birth is supposed to be this precious time. Bringing a new life into the world, and of course demons would try to screw that up."

"Well then, let's go gank em." Dean said, putting his foot on the accelerator, pushing them faster to their destination.
