Raving

"What's he doing here?" Scott asked as Derek and Isaac walked into the veterinarian's office.

"I need him." Derek said, wrapping an arm around Kristie, kissing her.

"I don't trust him.

"Yeah, well, he doesn't trust you either." Isaac scoffed.

"You know what? And Derek really doesn't care. Now where's the vet? Is he gonna help us or not?"

"That depends." Deaton said, walking into the lobby. "Your friend, Jackson. Are we planning to kill him or save him?"

"Kill him." Derek said as Scott and Kristie said "Save him."

"Save him. Save him." Kristie said. Derek sighed and the five went into the back. Isaac reached for a vial of powder on the table.

"Watch what you touch." Derek said, swatting his hand away.

"So, what are you? Some kind of witch?" Isaac asked.

"No, I'm a veterinarian." Deaton smirked. "Unfortunately, I don't see anything here that's going to be an effective defense against a paralytic toxin."

"We're open to suggestions." Derek said.

"What about an effective offense?" Isaac asked.

"We already tried." Derek sighed. "I nearly took its head off. And Argent emptied an entire clip into it. The thing just gets back up."

"Has it shown any weaknesses?" Deaton asked.

"Well, one - it can't swim." Kristie said.

"Does that go for Jackson as well?"

"No. He's the captain of the swim team."

"Essentially, you're trying to catch two people." Deaton went over to a drawer, pulling something out. "A puppet." He held up a small pendant. "And a puppeteer." He put the pendant on the table. "One killed the husband, but the other had to take care of the wife. Do we know why?"

"I don't think Jackson could do it." Scott said. "His mother died pregnant too, and she was maybe murdered. I think he couldn't let the same thing happen to someone else."

"How do you know it's not part of the rules? The Kanima kills murderers. If Jackson kills the wife, then the baby dies too." Isaac said.

"Does that mean your father was a murderer?" Kristie asked.

"Wouldn't surprise me if he was."

"Hold on." Deaton said. "The book says they're bonded, right? What if the fear of water isn't coming from Jackson, but from the person controlling him?" He picked up a jar with a black powder in it. "What if something that affects the Kanima also affects its master?" He said as he circled the pendant with the powder.

"Meaning what?" Isaac asked.

"Meaning we can catch them." Kristie said. "Both of them."

The day, Stiles pulled up to the school in his jeep, beside Matt, who was putting his bike on the bike rack. "There's got to be some other way to get tickets, right? Scott asked as the three got out of the car.

"It's a secret show." Stiles said. "There's only one way, and it's a secret."

"Hey." Matt said, waking up to the three. "Either one of you know why no one's getting suspended after what happened the other day at school?"

"Just forget about it. Nobody got hurt." Kristie said, trying to give them an excuse to walk away.

"I - I had a concussion."

"Well, nobody got seriously hurt." Stiles said.

"I was in the E.R. for six hours."

"Hey, do you want to know the truth, Matt? Your little bump on the head is about this high on our list of problems right now." Stiles bent down, putting his hand just of above the ground.

Scott you okay?" Scott asked Matt.

"Yeah, I'm fine now. So you didn't get any tickets last night either."

"Are they still selling?" Kristie asked.

"Uh, no, but I managed to find two online. You should keep trying. Sounds like everyone's gonna be there." And with that, Matt left to enter the school.

"I don't like him." Stiles mumbled. "Hey, are you sure about this?"

"Last time, whoever's controlling Jackson had to kill somebody because he didn't finish the job, so what do you think he's going to do this time?" Scott asked.

"Be there to make sure it happens."

"Can anybody tell me where the hell Jackson is and why he missed morning practice?" Coach Finstock asked as he entered the locker room, Kristie right behind him. Kristie walked over to her brother and Stiles.

"I thought I told you to keep an eye on him." Stiles quietly asked.

"Stilinski!" Coach shouted. "Jackson?"

"Sorry, Coach, I haven't seen him since the last time I saw him."

"Oh, and when was that?"

"Last time I saw him was definitely the time I saw him last."

"Yeah, again. Danny, tell Jackson no missing practice this close to the championships, okay?"

"Sure, Coach." Danny said.

"That goes for all of you. I should be coaching college." He mumbled and walked back into the office.

Kristie walked over to Danny. "Hey, Danny. You don't happen to have any extra tickets for tonight?"

"Sorry, but I only got two myself."

"What - do you even have a date, yet?" Stiles asked.

"I'm working on it."

"Okay, okay. Hear me out. You give us the tickets, and you devote your life to abstinence and just –" And that's when Isaac grabbed both boys by their jerseys.

"How do you two losers even survive?" Isaac asked.

"What are we supposed to do? No one's even selling." Scott said. Isaac looked around the locker room, seeing three guys walk past them.

"Wait here, boys."

"What is he gonna - ?" But Kristie couldn't finish that sentence. Isaac had the three boys against the lockers, threatening them.

"Ow." Stiles groaned. "Oh, my - yup. That's excessive. That'll bruise."

Isaac walked back over to the three, handing them each a ticket. "Enjoy the show." Isaac said, and left.

Kristie inspected herself in the mirror. "You look beautiful." Kristie turned and saw Derek standing in front of her window.

"I mean it is a party, and I do like to look my best at parties."

"I wish you wouldn't come tonight. I wish none of you were involved in this."

"I know you do, but its happening. Tonight, we are going to catch Jackson and we are going to save him."

"Just promise me, that you'll keep your distance from him." Derek said, wrapping his arms around her body. "Let Scott and Stiles do all the dirty work if you have to. I don't want anything happening to you. If you get one scratch on you, they'll have to answer to me."

Kristie scoffed and pulled him to her for a kiss. Their lips melted together in a rhythm as they kissed. Kristie could hardly could hardly keep herself from going over to the bed, but she stopped. "And besides, you're the one going up against the hunters." She said. "I should be the one telling you to be safe.

Suddenly Kristie's door opened, revealing Scott. "Stiles is here." He said. Kristie turned back around to see Derek gone. "You ready?" Scott asked.

"As ready as I'll ever be."

Scott helped Kristie out of Stiles' jeep when they pulled up to the warehouse. Stiles had been quiet the whole time. They went around to the trunk and Stiles pulled out a trash bag full of the mountain ash Deaton gave them.

"You okay?" Kristie asked Stiles.

"Yeah, why?" Stiles asked.

"You just didn't say anything the whole way here." Scott said.

"No, I'm fine. Just grab the other bag."

"I can't. Remember Deaton said you have to do it alone."

"Okay, this plan is really starting to suck."

Scott paused and seemed to listen. "No. Not here, not now." He said and ran off.

"Scott wait!" Kristie said and took off after him. Kristie made it inside of the rave and looked around for Scott. He had officially lost him. "Great." She mumbled.

"Kristie!" she heard. She turned and saw Erica and Isaac coming towards her.

"Good. I'm glad I found you." Kristie reached into her purse and pulled out the syringe Deaton gave them. "I need you use this against Jackson." She told Isaac.

"Why me? Why not Scott?"

"Because Scott has to make sure that Argent doesn't completely ruin the plan." She handed him the syringe. "Okay, look, you better do it intravenously, which means in the vein. When you find him, you pull back on this plunger right here." She pointed to the plunger. "In the neck probably is going to be the easiest. So you find a vein, you jam it in there, and pull back on the trigger." She paused. Be careful."

"Oh, I doubt it'll even slightly hurt him."

"No, I mean you. I don't want you to get hurt." Isaac looked at her, surprised. "I know you may think I hate you because of what you've done, but your Derek's pack, which makes you my pack. So be careful."

Kristie walked away from them and walked over by the DJ booth, watching the scene before her. Isaac and Erica walked up to Jackson and began to dance very suggestively with him. It looked like a threesome on the dance floor. Kristie saw Isaac pull out the syringe. It looked like the plan was working, when suddenly Jackson stabbed both of them with his claws.

Kristie gasped, feeling their pain. Jackson began walking toward the DJ booth, Kristie thinking towards her. She was about to run away when Isaac suddenly stabbed the syringe into his neck.

Kristie ran over to them. "You okay?" she asked Isaac.

"I am now." He said and they took Jackson off, away from everyone.

They found a room away from everyone and put Jackson in there. Now they just had to decide what to do. The door to the room opened, revealing Stiles. "Uh, no, no, no! Just me, it's just me. Don't freak." He said to the two werewolves who were about to jump on him. "He okay?"

"Well - let's find out." Isaac said. He walked over to Jackson and his claws appeared. He was about to hit Jackson, when suddenly Jackson grabbed his arm, hurting him, causing him to go to the ground. Isaac got free and got back over to the others.

"Okay, no one does anything like that again, okay?" Kristie exclaimed.

"Oh, I thought the ketamine was supposed to put him out." Isaac groaned, rubbing his wrist.

"Yeah, well, apparently this is all we're going to get." Stiles said. "So let's just hope that whoever's controlling him just decided to show up tonight."

"I'm here." The four turned, seeing Jackson's eyes open, his voice demented. "I'm right here with you."

"Jackson, is that you?" Kristie asked.

"Us. We're all here." He replied.

"Are you the one killing people?" Stiles asked.

"We are the ones killing murderers."

"So all the people you've killed so far –"

"Deserved it."

"See, we got a little rule book that says you only go after murderers." Kristie said.

"Anything can break if enough pressure's applied."

"All right, so the people you're killing are all murderers then?"

"All. Each. Every one."

"Well, who did they murder?" Stiles asked.

"Me."

"Wait, what? What do you mean?"

"They murdered me." Jackson's eyes began to change as he look at the four. "They murdered me!"

Jackson began to change, scales appearing all over his body and his claws extending. "Okay, all right. More ketamine." Kristie said. "The man needs ketamine. Come on."

"We don't have any more." Isaac said, holding up the bottle. Kristie took it from him.

"You used the whole bottle?" Erica patted Stiles on the shoulder and they looked, seeing Jackson slowly get up. And that's when he snarled at them.

" Um - okay, out, everybody out." Stiles exclaimed. The four ran out of the room and stood against the door. "Okay, find something to move in front of the door." Stiles said. It didn't matter. Jackson, in Kanima form burst through the wall like it was nothing.

"We have a problem." Kristie sighed.

Stiles and Kristie walked out of the club, over to Derek. Kristie wrapped her arms around him, and he did the same, kissing the top of her head.

"Hey, um, so we kind of lost Jackson inside," Stiles started. "But it's - oh, my God. It's working. Oh, this is - I did something." Stiles said, as Erica and Isaac couldn't pass the boundary Stiles had made.

Derek looked around, causing Kristie to notice. "What's wrong?" And that's when he stiffened.

"Scott?" He exclaimed.

"What?"

"Break it." Derek told Stiles.

"What? No way."

"Scott's dying!" He exclaimed.

"Okay, what? How do you know that?"

"Oh, my God, Stiles, I just know! Break it!"

Stiles went down to the ground and broke the boundary. Derek gave Kristie's hand a squeeze and ran off, back into the warehouse. Isaac and Erica joined them. "What's wrong?" Erica asked.

"Scott's dying." Kristie said, a tear running down her cheek. That's when she made the decision to go after them. She ran into the warehouse and when she got inside she saw Derek holding Scott up.

"We need to get him to Deaton." Derek said. The three went out back and they got Scott inside Derek's camaro. Derek drove like someone was chasing him all the way to Deaton's office. Once they got their, they got him inside and on the table with Deaton's help.

When Deaton was done helping Scott, he left the room, but not before Derek said thank you. "What happened?" Kristie asked.

"It was Allison's mom. She tried to kill him."
