It was Saturday, and the club decided to spend a little bit of time together. I of course had to come because Tamaki decided it was "official Host Club business." We hung out at a café that wasn't too crowded. I kept looking at the vice president when I noticed that Kyoya was keeping a rather nervous air about him. What was eating him? Well, whatever it was it didn't matter. We had to take a break. We were shopping for some suitable outfits. Tamaki was driven to pick out the perfect masks, and we were going to have to match with the outfits. Silly Tamaki, always having to be a perfectionist.

"Alright. I think it's time we picked out some colors." Tamaki said turning to Kyoya.

Kyoya found something to take his mind off whatever he was thinking about. "Oh, yes. I was looking through some palletes, and I think I have a few ideas. I was considering these." He pulled out a collection of silk swatches, and everybody looked through them. I liked them, and knew that the silk would look very nice. I was aware that these would be the colors of our ties, and pocket squares.

Tamaki picked them up, and held them up to his eye level. He turned to all of us. It wasn't hard to tell he was assigning our colors. Haruhi was appointed a thick scarlet red. Kaoru was given and orange swatch. It was complemented with Hikaru's light blue color. They would be staying close to each other during the party anyways. That much I knew. It was actually very clever of Tamaki, who of course chose a silvery white for his color. Always the center of attention. He would be wearing the white mask of the group eh? Fair enough. Honey was tasked with a soft pastel pink. It would be hard to find a mens masquerade mask in pink, but that was the magic of Tamaki. He had his methods. Mori had a deep blue that matched his steely behavior. Kyoya was given a bold violet. It was intense to see a color like purple given to somebody so... not bold. But I wouldn't see any trouble with it.

Last but not least it was my turn. I smiled, and waited for my color. When he handed me my swatch, I looked down, to see it was...

"Gold?" I tried to fight back my attempt at looking horrified. Gold was not my desired color. It was too overwhelming.

Tamaki nodded. "It suits you. After a while of thought, I figured you would look great in an all gold mask." I forced a smile. It wasn't what I was hoping for, but I would try my best. I nodded a few times. "Excellent." Tamaki smiled widely. I thought on the inside. Could this get any worse? "Alright time to partner up. Kyoya you join Yuki." Obviously it could. I had to get paired up with the paranoid one of the day. Of course the twins were paired with each other. Mori, and Honey respectively, and no doubt it gave Tamaki a chance to pair up with his beloved Haruhi. I smirked. Tamaki wasn't fooling me. Such a Casanova.

We went to a tailor, and was looking through their selection. Mostly it included ties, and bowties, along with hats, and dress shoes. Even rose corsages. We started getting fitted for a tuxedo. Being shorter I was the first to be measured. It was worth a pretty penny. My parents could afford it, and I knew my mother would buy it with a smile on her face. She always wanted to see me in a suit anyways. I looked through the tie selection, and found a handsome men's gold tie. I tried tying it, only to get a knot in it. I was hopeless until Kyoya helped me out. Once done, I looked at myself in the mirror. Better than I thought. I bought the matching pocket square as well. I looked in the mirror at the final result, but it was missing something. I looked over at accessories, and found a neat little broach. It was a small golden stag in mid leap. I attached it and it looked perfect. I turned to Kyoya.

"What do you think?" I asked.

Before he could comment, Tamaki pulled me into a hug loving the final outcome. "OH YOU LOOK SO PERFECT! MY LITTLE ROOKIE IS GOING TO BREAK THE HEARTS OF DOZENS OF YOUNG LADIES!" I managed to scape his grasp, and start changing back into my original clothes, after shooing Tamaki away. I got behind a curtain, and looked toward it.

I heard Kyoya behind it. "You looked very dashing in the outfit." He stated. I smiled. I would need to hold onto a compliment like that for some time.

"Thank you." I smiled. I pulled my shirt over my head. "I was hoping you would speak to me today. You've been rather quiet. I was starting to think that there was something wrong."

"Well... there's a reason for that." He said sharing his thoughts. "I saw you entering a drag show bar the other day. I never figured that-"

Before he could finish that sentence I yanked him into the changing room behind the curtain. I slammed him up against the wall. I snarled in a whisper. "Listen to me you four eyed freak. Nobody, and I mean this, when I say nobody can know about that. If you tell anybody, you will wish you hadn't. I've gone through enough culture shock, and I'm finally starting to feel normal. Don't you dare ostracize me from this club over that! I will not forgive you for that. Do you understand me?"

I could tell by the look in his eyes that my threats were hollow. He smirked down at me. "Don't smirk at me. Can't you tell I'm threatening you?" I shoved him again.

He responded by patting me on the head. Kyoya really knew how to get me steaming angry. "You don't have to worry. I was going to agree not to tell anybody. Your secrets are safe with me." I responded coldly by jerking my head away from his palm. I finished redressing and walked out to pay for my tux. I walked back to the group, and we finished buying our tuxes. Now I was the one that was troubled.

We headed over to a nearby novelty party store. They had a whole section of the store that was dedicated to masks. I was looking at the large selection, and picked up a simple gold reflective mask. When I held it up to my face to show Kyoya, I was stopped by Tamaki. "What do you think of this one Senpai?"

"No, no, no." He said wagging his finger in my face. "That won't do. Try this one instead!" He said holding up another mask. This one had rhinestones encrusted into it with vine like designs all over it. Up top there were two winged horses on each side flying towards each other. The center on the top had a lyre like harp.

I looked at it, and felt uncomfortable. "It seems a bit... heavy." He shook his head as if to imply I was thinking nonsensical. He attached it around my head, and positioned me in front of a mirror.

"How about now?"

I had to agree that now it wasn't as heavy as it looked. I grinned. "Okay, maybe it does suit me." I nodded. With that, Tamaki was away to offer advice elsewhere.

"Hey, Kyoya Senpai." I said walking over to him. He looked away from the violet, and black mask he was holding, and turned to me. "Yes, Yuki-chan?" I looked at him for a moment and threw my arms around him in a hug. I felt him freeze up, but I didn't care and gave a gentle squeeze. "Thank you..." I whispered. It was then that I felt tender hands returning the hug.
