Chapter 9: A Storm of Insanity
"TAAAAAHHH!" I yelled as I dashed towards Ronan.
"Finally showing your true colors eh wit-!" He stuttered as I suddenly disappeared from sight. I wasn't about to let him finish that sentence as I teleported behind him instantaneously. He didn't even have enough time to squeal as I shouted "Binding Circle!" instantly trapping him in place.
"T-the hell!?" He grunted as he tried to escape. I paid him no mind as I pelted him with two fireballs at close range before thrusting my palm downwards. Instantly a magic circle appeared and magic energy launched Ronan skywards.
"Whaaaaa!" He wailed as he was tossed helplessly in the air. As he came back to the ground, I caught him again with two more fireballs, staggering him back to his feet before launching a dark energy sphere. "Gyaaah!" He wailed again as the sphere damaged him continuously while locking him in place. I took that chance to wail on him with my staff twice before turning it into a hammer again and bringing it down on him, staggering him again.
'Still standing eh?' I asked myself as I dashed past his back before turning around and pelting him with another fireball.
He wobbled forward as he yelped in pain. 'Perfect~' I thought to myself as I dashed towards him as I slashed with my staff, hitting him straight across his back.
"Hyaaaah!" I yelled as I quickly warped above him and brought my staff down on his back.
"Yaaagh!" He yelped out as he staggered forward a bit. I was surprised at how he was still standing, but I was determined to change that.
"How about this!?" I yelled as my staff skidded across the ground before launching a plume of fire that traveled across the floor, burning and carrying Ronan along with it. I then dashed forward after them and leaped into the air.
"Take this!" I yelled as I launched a void sphere at Ronan. When the small dark orb collided with Ronan, it exploded, knocking Ronan off his feet. "Hell Stone!" I yelled as I landed on my feet. I flicked my wrist as a. A small purple cloud poofed in front of me and Ronan's mid air body as an otherworldly stone, complete with spikes and an eyeball painted in the middle, began to spin rapidly.
"Whaaaaa!" Screamed Ronan as the stone kept him in mid air while scoring multiple hits on him before knocking him away as he landed hard on his back. I lowered my staff as looked down at my handiwork; Ronan's blue hair was a mess as he lied there gritting his teeth and his armor was singed with all the burns I gave him.
"You know, for all the trouble you cause for me daily, I was expecting a lot more from you than this." I said as I glared down at him. I watched as he grit his teeth, trying to get back. Up as he squirmed backwards.
"More...more..."
'Huh? Who said that?' I asked myself as I looked around to find them. "What in the world?" I asked myself again as I realized that the whole class had gathered around to spectate.
"Wow Aisha I didn't know you had it in you!" shouted Miss Camilla as she egged me on to continue. "This is the best match I've seen all day so keep it up!~"
"Yes...like the woman said..." the mysterious voice said to me again; it's voice louder than last time. I looked around again but I could find no sign of the voice or its owner. "More...punish him more..." the voice bellowed again as its volume elevated. I looked around again trying to find any hint towards whose voice this belonged to, but to no avail.
"He caused you pain... He caused you turmoil..." the voice picked up again; this time even louder than before.
'How come no one is hearing this?!' I asked myself as I backed up slowly; my eyes searching around for the mysterious voice again.
"Give in... you know I'm right... Punish him! Make him pay..." continued the voice as it bellowed even louder and yet still, no one could hear it but me.
'Grrrrr, who are you!' I called out in my mind as I brought my hand to the side of my head; whatever was going on it was literally beginning to give me a headache, making me cringe as the struggle ensued.
"Who I am is not important..."spoke the voice again, just as deafening and loud as before. "What IS important is that you punish him now!" I cringed again at the order as I looked forward to see that Ronan had regained his composure as he glared angrily at me. He looked pretty beaten up from the assault I dished out on him too.
"What are you waiting for? You know I'm right..." said the voice again. "Don't tell me you're actually feeling sorry for him now? After everything he's done to you? Don't forget, He's the main one who rallies the people against you... so why not end him...end him... before he ends you...like he tried to do just now...I mean...just look at your friend there..." the voice said again as it continued its lecture. I cringed as the headache got worse and worse each time it spoke. But unconsciously, I turned my head to where Elsword as he layed there unconscious.
"You see girl...you know what I speak is the truth so why fight it?" The voice asked me again "if he did this to one guy who stuck up for you, imagine what he would do to your friends... He did threaten them too, did he not? Punish him...Make him suffer! Make him pay for all the pain and agony he's caused to you!" shouted the mysterious voice. I closed my eyes in pain as its shouting made my head throb.
"You know...whoever you are..." I said softly as I chuckled and a smile crept across my face. "You're right." As soon as I agreed with the phantom voice, I felt something pulse within me. All of a sudden, my mana aura from my awakening skyrocketed as more purple mana emanated from my body as it shot upwards like a giant purple flame.
"Woooooaaaaah! I heard Miss. Camilla cheer at the sight she was seeing. I turned to see the gym teacher egging on our match as if it were a regular school yard brawl. "This is the best damn match I've seen all day! Keep it up Aisha!"
"No what are you doing Miss Camilla!?" I heard Eve shouting afterwards. "You need to stop this match at once!"
"No can do little lady." responded Camilla. "That would go against the warrior's code.
I smiled at the sight while silently thanking her... partly because deep inside, I did want the match to continue. I turned back to Ronan who was actually crippled in fear as he shuddered in my wake.
'I will make him pay.'
With that thought, I then began to run towards him. I watched as he flinched in fear before turning and running away.
"Running away are we?" I yelled as I taunted him. It was hard to believe that after all the grief he put me through, that he would run like a little coward. But at that moment, I was enjoying myself as I chased after him with a maniacal grin. That grin was however short lived as Ronan quickly jumped forward and did a 180, flicking his wrist and pointing his hand at me.
"The hell..." I said as the action caught me by surprise.
"Ragna Bolt!" Yelled Ronan as a blue magical arrow shot out from his palm. I barely had time to register the attack as it flew at me with blinding speed and impacted with my left shoulder.
"Aaaaah! I cried as I spun around with the momentum of the arrow and tumbled to the floor. "Oww..." I groaned as I propped myself up with my right forearm as my left shoulder ached in pain from the attack.
"Nope, I. Wasn't running away, as you very well know now." Leered Ronan as his hand began to glow blue with magic. "Lunatic Force!" He yelled as another blue ice ball sped rapidly towards me. All I could do was grit my teeth and cover my head with my good arm as the ice ball hit the ground near me and erupted in ice crystals.
"Aisha! Aisha!" I heard someone call out.
'Man that hurt...' I thought to myself as I opened my eyes weakly. When I opened them I was shocked to see that somehow, my body was miraculously not where Ronan's attack had landed and had missed the after
'Ugh...I don't know how I escaped that...' I thought as I wearily pulled myself to my feet. 'I could've sworn that it was headed right for me…'
"Pay attention!" bellowed the mysterious voice in my mind. It startled me but inadvertently dulled me to the fact that Ronan was running towards me. I gasped at how close he had gotten as he slashed his sword at me. I could do all but hold my staff up to feebly block his slash. But as I deflected one slash, he came at me with another right under the first slash.
"Aaahnnngh!" I cried as his sword connected with my side. Thankfully due to the barrier, his sword didn't cut me in half. I grit my teeth as I saw the gleam in his eyes; powerless to do anything, I watched as he brought his sword down on me for another strike. I cried in pain as he landed three more hits on me before infusing his fist in blue magic and swinging it at me, knocking me off my feet.
"I'm not done yet!" He shouted as wind began to engulf his sword. "Wind Fist!" He shouted as he brought the sword down on me.
"Kyaaack!" I cried as his sword struck me and I landed hard on back but surprisingly enough, the wind from the sword bounced me back in the air. I watched as the assault wasn't over yet as he swiped his sword at my airborne body as I was blown away with a gust of wind.
"Spinning Circle!" I heard him shout again as my eye caught a glimpse of what looked like a purple magic pentagram flying towards me. I gasped as it collided with me; locking me in midair. I thought the assault was over until I the pentagram I was trapped in began to spin and shock me repeatedly.
'Uwwaah! I...can't take much...more of this...' I told myself mentally as I cried out in pain; my body spinning with the circle in a cartwheel before it launched me again.
"Uwaaaah!" I grunted as I hit the ground; I rolling a few times before sprawling out onto my back.
"Aisha! Watch out!" I heard Rena call my name.
'Rena...' I thought to myself as heard her call my name. I had just enough strength to open my eyes, let alone move; my whole body was racked with pain. My vision blurred as I felt my mana begin to fade along with my consciousness.
"Giga Crush!" I heard Ronan yell as I barely made out his figure high above me, his sword glowing with magic as he held it above his head. I wrinkled my eyebrows as the gravity of what was about to happen sank in, crushing my will to fight. 'So this is it huh...' I said to myself mentally as I closed my eyes and grit my teeth as I tried to mentally prepare for the attack I was helpless to protect against.
"Such a waste..." I heard the mysterious voice say again. "All of this mana and yet you can't do anything with it!" It said as its voice elevated. After their statement, I felt something pulse inside as all of a sudden, a tornado of flame shot up around me. I opened my eyes to see Ronan tumble to the ground after being burned by the tornado.
'What in the world is going on here?' I asked myself as I tried to get up. 'How the heck did I use gust screw while I was un-' I stopped mid thought as I tried to sit up. I was horrified to discover that I couldn't move at all. 'What the hell! I can't move!?' I shrieked in my mind as I began to panic.
"All this power at your fingertips and yet you fail to utilize it...but no matter..."said the mysterious voice as it spoke in an air of confidence.
'Don't listen to it Aisha...' I told myself as I was barely able to turn my head to look at my hand. 'Its ok girl, you're alright... You're just exhausted right now that's all. There's nothing to be afraid of... just focus.' I said to myself as I feebly tried to calm myself down. In actuality, I was quite terrified at the turn of events; not to mention the ominous voice that I have been conversing with for the duration of the fight. I clenched my eyelids as I tried to focus all of my mental power into making my hand move.
'I… don't understand...' I asked myself as I continued to struggle. 'It's not like I'm paralyzed or anything... I can still feel my body and *ouch* all of the pain...thank god. But still... why can't I move!?' I thought to myself. I stared intensely at my hand as every fiber of my being was shouting "move" to my hand that continued to lay there motionlessly. I noticed out of the corner of my eye that Ronan had recovered and just picked up his sword as he walked towards me. 'Oh no... Come on me... MOVE!' I shouted mentally as I desperately tried to regain control of my body.
"Well child..." the ominous voice spoke again. As it spoke, I felt a pulse go throughout my entire body again just before purple mana erupted from my body again. I could hear the crowd around me gasp in astonishment as we both wondered just what the hell was going on here.
'What the!?' I shouted in fear as I witnessed the event unfolding in front of me.
"Let me show you how to use this power properly!" The voice shouted as my hand lifted itself to the sky and clenched itself into a fist.
"Whaaaaaaa! How'd I do that!?" I tried to shout but my lips didn't move. "What the hell is going on!?" I shouted again but again my mouth was silent. I suddenly felt my body move as it picked itself up. The only problem was that I wasn't making the movement. I felt myself being overwhelmed with fear as I saw...or at least my body looked down at itself and picked up my staff before dusting itself off. I tried to look around to see if anyone could help me but my body only turned towards Ronan, who cautiously held his sword defensively. The odd thing though was that I could still feel my body, but I just couldn't seem to control my body, no matter how much I concentrated. The feeling horrified me as I felt like a back seat passenger in my own body as I watched as my body began to run full speed at Ronan.
"Aaaaaaah, this can't be happening!" I cried out in terror. "Somebody! Anybody! Help me!" I wailed as I was forced to watch on as a spectator in my own body as the match continued.
"Silence in there! I need to concentrate!" It said as I felt my body teleport and land right behind Ronan, who staggered at the site of me behind him.
"Poison Cloud!" Shouted the mysterious voice as a thick green cloud of smoke enveloped me and Ronan. My jaw dropped wide open; not just because it was using my own spells effortlessly, but because when it spoke now it now had my voice.
I watched the battle continue as a spectator would watch a game. As Ronan coughed and staggered in the fog. The fake me, for lack of a better word, resumed her assault by launching a dark static sphere; further damaging Ronan further while locking him in place.
"Binding Circle!" The fake me shouted as she locked Ronan in place again. I then watched as the fake me hopped out of the cloud and sit on my staff, floating in mid air. I then felt an bone chilling dark aura surround me as my hijacker raised an arm above my head as a book poofed into her other hand.
'Oh no... not this spell.' I said mentally as she gathered mana for the spell. 'Death Field... a dark magic spell that envelops the caster in a shadow of death. Anyone within the vicinity of its launch will suffer heavy magical damage followed with a delayed explosion on affected targets... If that thing goes off, it could easily cause damage the barrier can't protect against.'
"Wait! Don't do it!" I cried out in protest to stop the attack. But my pleas fell on deaf ears as I heard them use my voice to begin the attack.
"Death..." I heard myself say as the book opened up and pages fluttered rapidly.
"Chains of Binding!" I heard as I saw chains shoot out from behind me. I heard myself shout "what!?" In confusion before the animated chains snaked back around and tightly ensnared my body.
"Aaaaah!" Both me and my hijacker yelled in pain as the chains tightly wrapped around my legs, the arm holding my spell book which disappeared when the spell was canceled, and my arm in the air. I cried in pain as it constricted me more and more, causing the fake me to drop my staff to the ground. Surprisingly to me, even though I had no control of my body, I could still feel the pain.
"Phew, just in time~" I heard a voice say as my body wearily opened its eyes to face its attacker. To my surprise it was none other than Karis, queen of the succubus and ironically the student council president. She flapped her wings as she landed next to Ronan gracefully. She helped him up as she dusted him off and handed him his sword.
"Thanks babe." said Ronan as he looked up at me; my hijacker growling and squirming in Karis's chains. Meanwhile, I was powerless to do anything, helpless as I watched Ronan put on a smug look on his face.
"Ok then Karis, why don't you go toy with the witch while I charge up for the final blow." He said as he closed his eyes and clenched his fist; holding it to his chest as he charged up mana. For what you may ask? I hadn't the slightest idea as I looked down helplessly at the events taking place.
"Damn this weak body!" cursed the hijacker as they squirmed in the chains. But like a python, the chains held firm as I felt them constrict against my body. Still, my hijacker continued to flail in their grasp.
"Nok Sphere!" I heard out of nowhere as I felt something press onto my back, sapping my strength as it held us, chains and all. It then detonated on us, causing us magical damage as smoke sizzled from my weary body. I could feel my mana, no longer overflowing but rather sputtering like a car out of gas.
"Rrraaaaah!" Bellowed my hijacker as their flailing got weaker. "This body is so weak! It's already at its limit! It can't even handle that little bit of pure dark El!?"
"Dark El?" I called back at them. "What do you mean?" I was taken aback when I was met with laughter.
"You don't know!?" asked the hijacker mid laugh. "Man, what was Lord Angkor thinking? Wasting his time with the likes of 'you'?" They scoffed while they derided me.
"Angkor?" I asked as I was perplexed by the statement that any of this had something to do with him. "What does he have to do with this?"
"Did you really just ask me that?" said the hijacker, full of disbelief that I even had the audacity to ask that question. "Oh well... I guess it's a blessing in disguise. Ok then child, looks like your mana is about to run dry... I guess I'll let you go... for now..." said the hijacker as they opened my eyes to witness Karis, flapping her wings as she flew up towards me.
"If, you survive this...I'll see you again... If you survive that is…" And with that, I was left with an ominous laughter in my head as I gradually felt myself feel like I was in control again.
'But a fat lot of good that does me. I'm still stuck!' I said mentally as I worked the chains trying to loosen their grasp on me. Unfortunately, this whole ordeal had left me exhausted. 'Come on... you can do it!' I said as I mentally tried to psyche myself up whilst I kept on struggling.
"Aaahnngh" I cried as my efforts to free myself was rewarded with more constriction from the chains.
"Uh uh uh~" said Karis, who was now a few inches from my face. "Stop struggling now or it will get worse." She said as she held my chin with three fingers and shook my head from side to side; toying with me like a cat would toy with a mouse.
I grit my teeth as I shook my chin from her grasp. "What do you want from me?" I asked her as I stared at her intensely.
"Other than your outfit, nothing much~" she responded with a smirk.
"Really? Is that all?" I said sarcastically. "If that's all you want then let me go and its yours."
"Really?" She said as her red eyes lit up in earnest.
"Umm… yeah, sure. I don't mind~" I said as I closed my eyes and smiled whilst a bead of sweat rolled down my face. 'Is she really serious?' "But um...why do you want my outfit so bad? I mean, yours is much more..." I trailed off as I eyed her outfit real quick.
She wore purple heels and had on dark leggings which crawled up her shapely legs and fishnets; attaching to her hip. From there, she wore a dark leotard with a heart shaped opening for her stomach. The leotard crawled up her body as it held her chest upright with remnants of a bat like accessory that followed from her breasts to her neck to form a choker. "Alluring..." I said as I managed to find another word to replace my original thought of slutty. It would behoove me to not piss off my captor after all.
"Aw thanks" she said as she smile and gestured her outfit to me. "But this old thing is nothing compared your authentic Angkor designer Void Princess outfit. His designs are coveted all over demon world; girls would kill to have your original outfit, designed by Angkor himself.~" she went on as she swooned over my outfit.
"Wow... I never knew he was that big..." I said as I gave her a hesitant smile. 'I guess it would make sense though...' I thought to myself as I eyed her bat shaped wrist cuffs. 'She has the same type of bat cuffs like I do on my outfit... it must be his logo or something... I should ask him about that...among other things. But for now it's time to get out of this mess.' I thought to myself as I watched Karis lost in thoughts about having my outfit.
"Hey Karis, I'm ready!" I heard Ronan yell from below us.
"Ok then." She responded to him before turning to me. "Well, time to go then." she said as she began to float down to the floor. I suddenly felt myself float down with her as I we got closer to Ronan.
"H-hey wait..." I asked Karis with a worried tone in my voice as we got closer. "I thought you were going to let me go? I mean… You are going to let me go...right?" My heart sank as I heard my question being answered with a chuckle.
"Sorry dear, but I can't do that." said Karis as she finished giggling.
"But but...I thought we had a deal!" I shouted back at her.
"Yeah I know..." she said coyly. "But I don't think Ronan would like that very much. And besides..."
"Besides what?" I asked her back.
"If Ronan has his way, there's a good chance I could get Angkor to be my familiar instead. Then I wouldn't need your outfit, he'd make me one just for me~" she replied with a hint of delight in her voice.
'This is getting me nowhere...' I thought to myself as I searched around the gym for anyway out of this. 'I need to find Camilla or -' "Rena!" I shouted with glee when I spotted her standing there, watching the match, along with Eve, Chung Raven and surprisingly everyone else in the gym. They were watching as if nothing was going on; kind of like they were all in a daze… like zombies … I ignored that puzzling fact as I called out to Rena to try and get her attention. "Rena! Help me! Get Miss Camilla to stop this! This wacko is trying to kill me, literally!" I cried and cried out to her but she seemed to be in a daze. "Rena...what's... the matter?" I called out to her as I struggled against the chains.
"Don't waste you breathe sweetie." Karis said as she interjected my pleas for help. "They can't help you, let alone hear you for that matter."
"What do you mean!?" I growled back at Karis as I grit my teeth.
"What I mean sweetie is that all of that noise you're spouting is useless." She answered with a giggle. "They're under my charms you see. Right now they think they're watching some other boring fight, so Ronan here can do what he wants to you."
"So they're hypnotized?" I asked Karis as I tried to make sense of the situation. 'I guess that would make sense why a match like this hasn't been stopped yet.' She giggled at me as she nodded her head yes.
"But why are you taking orders from Ronan huh?" I asked Karis again, hoping this question could buy me some more time to escape. My plan worked though as we stopped descending as she turned around to face me. "Good question really..." she said as she raised her hand to rub her cheek. "Well... I guess that's because he seems to be immune to my charms..." she said as a faint blush ran across her cheeks.
My eyelids twitched from the stupid answer presented before me. "So because of that, you just follow his orders!?"
"Well it is succubus custom that any who could resist your charms is a worthy candidate for a mate.~" Karis blushed as she answered my question; dropping me hard on my butt as she turned to hide her blushing face.
"Aagh! You could've been a little gentler with that landing you know!" I yelled at Karis as I tried to ignore the pain.
"I wouldn't be worried about a mere fall like that if I were in your shoes right now..." snickered Ronan. "So, any last words?" He said to me when suddenly, a large blue magic circle appeared behind him, casting a blue overtone over everything.
I watched the blue circle spin as it radiated magical energy. 'So much mana...' I trembled as I felt the magnitude of mana resonating from the circle as it began to spin behind him. I tried to scoot my body away but I was no use; I could barely move an inch, let alone escape from Ronan.
'Somebody...anybody...please, help me!' I cried in my head as I looked up defiantly at Ronan. It was all I could manage to do at that point, but I refused to let him have the satisfaction of me crying for help.
"So no last words eh?" He said while looking down at me, quite content at his handiwork. "So be it then. "Illusion..." he cried out as he raised his sword about his head. When he did, I was horrified when I saw the heads of four large magic swords emanating blinding blue light began to crawl out of the circle as they took aim at me. My heart was beating a mile per minute, as it tried to pump my blood so that I could remain brave but my mind...it couldn't handle the fact that this attack might very well be the end of me.
"Nooooooo!" I cried as I closed my shouted to the heavens, hoping to god that he heard me and would save my life somehow.
"Hyaaaaaaaah!" I heard a yell from out of nowhere.
"Whaa-aaaaaaaaaah!" I heard Karis scream before I opened my eyes and looked to see Karis flying from Ronan's side before colliding with the ground with a heady thud.
'What in the world... was that...?' I asked myself but my question was soon answered as a certain red headed boy jump in between me and certain doom.
"E-Elsword!?" I stammered in disbelief that he could be standing here in front of like he is now.
"In the flesh~" he chuckled as he turned his head to look back at me. "I guess I too long of a nap back there...sorry about that."
"Never mind about that! What about you?" I shouted back at him.
"Never been better..." he said as he turned back around to face Ronan who was still poised to launch his spell. Ironically, the sudden sneak attack by Elsword caused the swords behind Ronan to retreat back into the gateway. I guess the sudden appearance by the red head broke his concentration. Yet, despite his flashy entrance, the blood dripping down the back of his shirt said otherwise. But despite that fact, he still looked and felt formidable. I'm not sure if I was imagining it, but I could see a red, destructive aura, emanating from him. "Alright then... I'm gonna go and end thing, so you sit tight here, ok Aisha?"
"I -uh- y-yeah..." I stammered out as his statement caught me off guard. 'He's barely known me for about an hour and yet here he is, once again throwing himself in harm's way...for me...' I thought to myself as I watched Elsword stare down at Ronan and his magical gateway behind him. 'Well… if we do make it out of this alive…somehow… Then I would like to get to know you better…Elsword.'
"Are you two done yet?" asked Ronan in his usual arrogant tone. "I do believe I've been more than lenient with you two seeing that this is a match. It's about time we finish this."
"Oh I'll finish it alright!" I heard Elsword reply. I watched as Elsword was fidgeting with something in his hand, before taking what looked to be a ring and placed it in his pants pocket.
'Just what was that just now?' I asked myself as I witnessed the peculiar act. But then as if a glass shattered somewhere, I felt a wave of energy pulsed from where Elsword was standing. Just as soon as I had felt that shockwave, Elsword's aura shot up as he entered his awakened state; his red aura danced with the other destructive aura he was emanating from before.
"I hope you're ready to pay for what you have done here today Ronan!" Elsword shouted at Ronan, who had a rather disgusted look on his face.
"You should still be unconscious after my first attack!" Ronan said with a scowl. "How the hell are you still standing?"
"I have a hard head!" said Elsword in a defiantly mocking tone. Suddenly, the blue gateway began to glow as five magical swords began to jut out from the gateway again, this time aimed at the two of us.
"Elsword, look out!" I cried as I saw swords jut out from the circle; feeling the bloodlust of their conjurer just by the sheer force of the mana it gave off.
"Just die already!" Yelled Ronan as he brought down his sword and pointed it as us. Instantly the swords flew out from behind Ronan as they veered out to then close in on us while they flew.
"Aaaaaaaaah!" I screamed at the sight before me, powerless to do anything about. But not Elsword. He just stood there like an unwavering barricade as the swords flew towards us.
"You first!" He shouted back before gripping his sword tightly and slamming it hard on the ground in front of him. "Triple Geyser!"
My brain struggled to process what I was seeing unfold in front of me as gigantic pillar of fire erupted from the ground below the strike. The flaming geyser collided with the swords en route to impale us; stopping them dead in its tracks.
"What the hell!?" exclaimed Ronan as he watched his prized attack get thwarted so easily. But that was just the beginning. Staying true to its name, two more flame geysers erupted in front of the first geyser; making its way ferociously to where Ronan stood.
"Whooooaaaaaaah!" wailed Ronan; as he could do no more but to wail as he was too exhausted to move after expelling all that mana. I watched as the pillars of flame tore angrily at Ronan's body while it tossed him about inside its clutches.
'Such...power...' I said in my mind as I watched the pillars of flame die out; plopping Ronan's unconscious body to the floor.
'Just who are you anyway...' I asked myself as I watched Elsword put his hand back into his pocket and pull out the ring he put in there before. I watched him fiddle with something in front of him again and then suddenly, the powerful force I felt from him when he unleashed that attack, vanished instantly.
"See Aisha..." he said to me while he had his back turned to me. "I told you...I'd...end...t-this."
"E-Elsword!" I exclaimed as I watched the red head fall to his knees before falling face forward on the ground.
"Elsword!? Elsword!" I called out to him again, but he didn't budge. Unfortunately I was still tied up but I noticed that the chains had stopped constricting me. 'They stopped?' I asked myself as I felt the pressure from their grasp lessen as I tried to free myself.
"Wow! That was sooo fricken awesome!"
"Huh" I said at the random comment from out of nowhere. I turned to the crowd to see Miss Camilla yelling "Encore Encore! Let's see another fight!~"
"Miss Camilla, No!" I heard a familiar voice say as I watched Eve scolding her.
"Aisha! Are you ok?" I heard Rena's voice as she ran towards me. "What happened to you?"
"Yeah I'm fine..." I said to her...at least, I wanted to say to her. But for some reason my lips were moving, but no sound was coming out. 'What in the world...?' I asked myself as a sudden wave of fatigue washed all over me. 'W-why...am I so sleepy... all of a sudden?' I asked myself again while I was struggling to keep my eyelids open, and failing miserably.
"Aisha? Aisha!" Were the last words I heard, followed by the sight of a teary eyed Rena before I gave in and closed my eyes; drifting off into dreamland.
End of Chapter~
Digi: and with that, so ends another chapter. I hope everyone enjoyed it.
Rena: Well I know those two did *points to Elsword and Aisha asleep on the floor*
Eve: Well they did work hard, which I can't say the same for us since we were just spectators *places a blanket over the two of them*
Rena: Aww, they're so cute together~
Digi: Ikr?
Raven: So since no one has mentioned it, I guess I'll address the purple elephant in the room, no pun intended. So Karis, what are you doing here in the story? Elder seems to be a mighty long way from Sander isn't it?
Karis: Oh hush now Raven. Digi doesn't mind that I'm here, right Digi?
Digi: Right~
Raven: That's because Digi is easily swayed by cute girls in even cuter legware
Digi: CORRECT!~
Raven: -facepalms- I guess I just answered my own question.
Ronan: -chuckles- I think the reason why Karis is here is because during this chapter, Digi was saying that he was grinding his way to level cap his RuneSlayer which he accomplished mid chapter.
