Hey guys I am back with another chapter. this one is shorter than most because the level that this chapter is based on is shorter than some of the other levels. anyway so I wanted to warn you im getting to a place in the semester where I have a lot of stuff to do so I might not upload as often as before. anyway so I played COD ghosts and it is pretty good and expect to see some characters from that game show up later on. anyways so I didn't get enough question to justify a q and a video so I am actually not going to do one after all so never mind people sorry :(. ok so without further delay here is the next chapter.

One of the best parts about being in the state that he was in was that he no longer needed to eat or sleep; he never got tired and he never got bored. Ok well occasionally he got bored but for the most part when the fate of humanity rested on his and Reznov's shoulders Alex Mason had a lot to keep his mind busy. Alex tinkered with one of the 501st striker engines that they had acquired from the ether when the witches made the transition to Alex's old world when he was still alive. Mason looked upon the magic engine and scowled. Alex was no mechanic even when he was amongst the living now he was working on a device that he literally knew nothing about. Alex looked to his comrade Viktor and spoke.

"So Viktor what exactly are we trying to do with these things again?" Alex asked Reznov who was working on the experimental device that Hanna Marseille was planning on teleporting the witches back with. He looked up at Mason and spoke.

"My plan is to modify the magical engines of the various striker units and link them up with this teleporter device as a backup plan in the now likely event that Eila will be unable to stop Makarov from completing the Ritual." Reznov informed Mason who nodded.

"Ok so what exactly is the backup plan again?" Mason asked Reznov.

"My plan is that if the Neuroi succeed in coming to our old world we are going to need battle hardened witches there if we want any chances of stopping them. So with this device I plan on opening a series of portals from the witch's world to our world in order for the witches to be able to save our old world from inevitable destruction." Reznov told Mason.

"Great that sounds good I guess." Mason replied; Reznov then frowned for a second. "Why do I get the feeling that there is about to be "a but" in this equation?" Mason asked his undead Russian friend.

"If it comes down to this; odds are that this realm that we have been in; this….pocket dimension will be destroyed by the wave of magical energy that we will unleashed. In the process that will kill us." Reznov told Mason who smirked.

"Well good thing we are already dead then." Mason said to Reznov who shook his head.

"No I mean we will cease to be. Our very essence or souls if you want to use that terminology will be destroyed." Reznov warned Mason who nodded and thought for a moment. Even though it had only been around thirty years or so since he died in the human world time in this pocket dimension worked rather differently. For Alex and Reznov at least they had been here for what felt like millennia. It's hard to imagine what it is like to be stuck in a small bunker for thousands of years but Alex had experienced just that…. Well at least he had Viktor to pass the time with; but ten thousand years of playing poker and black jack were enough to drive the former CIA agent bonkers.

"That is a sacrifice I am willing to make Viktor if it means we can save the rest of mankind… or at least give them a fighting chance against those things." Alex told him. Reznov nodded and headed towards the door of the bunker.

"Good I am glad you are onboard with this my friend. Anyway we actually have a guest coming right about…. Now." Viktor said as he opened the bunker door. Alex saw the swirling madness of the outside world and what sounded like the screams of billions of damned souls howling in the distance. The Neuroi known as The Survivor quickly shot into the bunker. Reznov slammed the door shut and Mason heard something slam into it and then the scratching of claws on the metal door. "Ah good I am glad you made it." Reznov told their alien ally who even though she lack facial expressions on her featureless face Alex could tell that she was trying to catch her breath and overcome the fear that she was feeling when she was in the pocket dimension.

"Why do I always have to come to you now? Why can't you come to me for once; don't you know what it is like out there?" It asked them. Reznov smirked at her.

"Sorry about that but it is harder for us to move freely in the witch's dimension so we prefer if you come to us. But more importantly this is the last time you have to come here." He told the human shaped Neuroi who cocked her head a bit.

"Really why is that?" It asked him. Reznov then went to the table where he was working on the teleporter.

"Because we want to send you to our old world to help Eila and Sanya in killing Makarov." Reznov told it. The Survivor looked at him.

"Wait you have a way to get to that world?" It asked him. Reznov nodded.

"Yes with this device here." He said as he patted the boxy looking device. "we are going to try and get you as close to Eila and the others as possible and you are going to make contact with them and tell them everything you know and help them stop Makarov from unleashing the Neuroi on both human worlds." Reznov told her. The Survivor nodded.

"How soon can you send me through to their world?" It asked them.

"Give us a few hours." Reznov told it. Mason thought to himself things were going to get interesting.

Onboard the USS America LHA-6

Flight Lieutenant Hanna Justina Marseille

06:31 local time

Hanna was in the vehicle bay onboard the large American assault vessel. She checked her weapons and once she was satisfied she decided that she was to have a small whisky break. Hanna pulled out her flask and took a sip of the alcohol and savored the taste. Just then the Russian sniper Cryska patted her on the shoulder.

"Hey do you mind if I have a drink with you?" She asked as she held up her own flask. Hanna nodded to the white haired women.

"Sure go ahead." She told her as Cryska sat down. Hanna thought to herself for a moment. It was really strange Cryska didn't seem like any of the other military personal in this world. Cryska was far too laid back for that to be the case. "Hey Cryska can I ask you something?" Hanna asked the Russian who looked at her.

"Oh sure what is it?" The Russian replied.

"Well I wanted to know what branch of the Russian Military did you serve in before becoming one of the Loyalists?" Hanna asked the Russian who smiled.

"Oh I was never in the military; I am actually a civilian." Cryska told Hanna. Hanna's jaw dropped a bit. Hanna had seen Cryska on the firing range back at Fort Campbell; she was a fucking surgeon with her sniper rifle pulling off shots that even Hanna couldn't do. How could this woman have only been a civilian?

"Wait what? Then why are you with the Loyalists then? I thought they were all members of the former Russia's military that fled their country to escape trial and execution by the Ultranationalists." Hanna inquired. Cryska smiled for a second before speaking.

"Funny story actually; if you want to hear it that is?" Cryska asked Hanna who nodded enthusiastically. "Well shortly after Moscow fell to the Ultranationalists the Russian Loyalists fled leaving most of their gear behind. I found a bunch of C4 and I went hunting for a certain Russian Artillery officer. After a little recon I found him and his unit. Then I found where his unit was going to camp out for the next night. So I went to their next camp site before them and I rigged a building to explode. When this Ultranationalist officer got there, I dropped the building on his head. I think I killed about… I don't know maybe a dozen or so there. Well after that someone must have spotted me so they sent a rifle platoon to go and kill me. I hid in a small home in the suburbs and waited for them to come to me. Eventually a squad found the building I was in and I killed all of them with a combination of hand to hand combat; a kitchen knife and a potato peeler. Well apparently they didn't get the message to leave me alone so the other Ultranationalists came after me so I picked up a sniper rifle and I killed about a dozen or so before they fell back and called in attack helicopters. The gunships chased me all the way into the sewers where they sent another platoon to flush me out. At this point I had stolen a grenade launcher and needless to say those guys had a very unpleasant day. I think the Ultranationalist commander finally got the message at that point and he stopped sending guys after me. The next day however I saw on a street lamp a picture of myself with a ten million ruble bounty on my head; so I left Moscow and found Kamarov and his group and I have been with them ever since." Cryska told Hanna whose mouth was wide open now. No this had to be a load of BS this couldn't possibly be true.

"Ok come on that has to be bullshit." Hanna told Cryska who shook her head. Just before Cryska could reply Kamarov spoke as he entered the room.

"No Hanna I assure you that what Cryska says is true I had the wanted sign in my office back in India." Kamarov said to Hanna who nodded.

"Damn that is impressive then." Hanna said she then turned to Cryska. "So do you know how many people you killed that day then?" Hanna asked her. Cryska shrugged.

"I am not sure… there were a lot of explosions." Cryska replied coyly. Just then Captain Price and the other members of the Task Force walked into the vehicle bay.

"Ok everyone settle down now." Captain Price said to the group as he hopped up on one of the American armored vehicles an LAV-25 if Hanna recalled correctly. "Alright people our mission is to go after a Somali warlord by the name of Waraabe who shipped the chemical weapons used in the terrorist attacks in the EU to Makarov. We want to capture him and interrogate him. He is currently at a small fishing port on the coast our plan is to send in a ground team to assault the port head on. Nikolai will be providing air support via his attack helicopter." Captain Price told the group. Then Nikolai spoke.

"It's a Super Hind by the way. One of the South African upgraded models I can have one of you on the ground remotely control the cannon onboard." Nikolai said. He then turned to Yuri and spoke. "Yuri you're it." Nikolai said as he tapped Yuri on the shoulder who grumbled.

"Ok the port is guarded by local triggermen from the terrorist group Al-Shabaab. For those who don't know they are affiliated with both Al-Qaeda and the Shadow of Zakhaev and have been responsible for a number of terror attacks on western shipping in and around the horn of Africa. We have scanned the compound with spy satellites and there are no civilians in the area; that means that anything that moves in the compound we have a green light to kill. Does everyone understand me?" Captain Price said to the group who all responded with the customary 'we hear you sir!' response that she heard so often in the military. "Ok good; Francesca you are on drone duty." Price said to the young witch who nodded enthusiastically.

"Alright I won't let you down Captain!" she said. Price nodded then turned to Lynnette and Yoshika.

"Yoshika and Lynne I want the two of you on this mission. This is going to be a frontal assault so we might have some causalities and I need you to work your healing magic on the wounded Yoshika." Captain Price said to the Fusoan witch.

"Roger I understand." Yoshika replied.

"Understood sir." Lynne responded to Captain Price who nodded to them. He then turned to Hanna and spoke.

"Hanna I want you on this operation as well. We can use the extra firepower you provide in a frontal assault." Price said to Hanna who smirked.

"It's about fucking time; I was starting to get bored over here." Hanna told the Task Force commander who nodded his head.

"Right well you are about to see a lot of action now. So get your game face on and suit up we leave in thirty mikes." Soap told her. Hanna smiled; finally she was going to see some more action.

Yuri

09:30 local time

The warm morning wind blew across Yuri's face as he sat in the back of one of the jeeps that the Task Force was using on this assault. Yuri looked to his left and saw one of the jeeps had the three witches in it and then he looked to his left where he saw Cryska and two Loyalists driving in it. Soap then spoke over the radio to their drone pilot.

"Lucchini watch the rear of the compound and look for Waraabe if he tries to bolt contact the Marine commander on the ground and tell him to block Waraabe's escape with his tanks copy?" Soap told the impossibly young girl piloting the extremely expensive drone.

"I copy I will keep a look out for him and let you know if I see anything." She told him. Then Price spoke.

"Nikolai they got the front gate locked give them a knock would you?" Price asked the helicopter pilot.

"Roger that missiles away." Nikolai said as his Super Hind flew overhead and fired two anti tank missiles at the front entrance of the compound. The missiles detonated with twin thunderclaps of fire and shrapnel blowing the metal gate to pieces sending fragments shooting into the guards nearby. Yuri stood in the back of the jeep and pulled out his M4A1 and cocked the charging handle. He then rested his weapon on the roof of the vehicle and took aim down his ACOG sight. He lined up a militant in his sights and pulled the trigger sending a three round burst down range tearing through the militant. He then switched targets and fired a longer burst at another militant that tore him in half. Price swerved the jeep to a halt as they entered the compound. Yuri jumped out of the vehicle as militants fired into the car riddling it with bullets. In the compound an alarm blared obnoxiously. Yuri ran to cover behind a shipping crate and poked his head out to fire a burst into the guards nearby cutting three down. Another two guards setting up an RPG were in front of him. Yuri fired an M203 into the enemy soldiers blowing them to shreds.

"Shit we have a technical heading this way! Yuri get on the remote gun and clear the way for us!" Price ordered Yuri who pulled out a tablet with a connection to Nikolai's helicopter.

"Roger that Captain." He said as he turned on the device. Nikolai was coming in for a gun run and all of the militants in front of them were highlighted in a red box. Yuri pressed the firing button and sent a stream of 30mm rounds down range into the militants. Yuri saw as the large caliber rounds smashed into people turning them to pulp. Yuri fired on the pickup with the in the back blowing it to pieces. Nikolai flew over the battlefield and spun back around. An RPG flew past them, to which Yuri responded by firing another burst into the militants killing them in a storm of high explosive shells. Nikolai's helicopter then flew out of range of the battlefield.

"Ok heading back to rearm now I will be back in ten minutes." Nikolai said to the group. Yuri put away the tablet and moved forward. The resistance had thinned out quite considerably. Yuri saw a militant with his legs blown off trying to crawl away. Yuri shouldered his rifle and fired a three round burst into his back killing him. Yuri headed through a destroyed ship that was in the dry dock and moved into a building up ahead. A militant rounded the corner with an SMG and raised it to fire at Yuri. Yuri slammed into him knocking the militant to the ground. Yuri then put the barrel of his rifle to the man's head and pulled the trigger sending an explosion of brains and blood onto the floor. Yuri then continued up to the main facility.

"Captain Price I spotted Waraabe he is on the second floor of the main building; he entered into a room on the left side with three other guys." Lucchini said to the Task Force.

"Roger that thanks for the heads up. Alright people let's move into the main facility and take this fucker out." Captain Price said to the group as they advanced into the main facility. Yuri saw Cryska shoot a militant in the face point blank with her sniper rifle sending his brains splattering all over the floor. Yuri saw two more militants and he emptied the rest of his M4 into them killing both of them. Yuri then moved into the main compound. Compared to the rest of the port this building was actually rather nice complete with a little art work on the walls. Yuri guessed that being an African warlord did have its perks compared to being a rank and file thug like the rest of these clowns they had been fighting. Yuri went up the stairs to the second floor and found the room that Waraabe was hiding in. He stacked up on the door along with Lynnette and Soap.

"Ok we breach on three got it?" Soap asked them as he slapped a breaching charge on the door and readied his weapon. Yuri and Lynnette nodded. Yuri reloaded his rifle and Lynnette switched to her FAMAS. "Ok 1…2…3… NOW!"

Sergeant Lynnette Bishop

9:45 local time

The door exploded inwards in a thunderous explosion. Lynne ducked down and swept out to the right targeting a terrorist with an AK-47 aimed at her head. She fired a three round burst from her rifle and sent the shots into his chest tearing him up. She then turned to her left and saw Waraabe trying to run out the back door. She fired a single shot that went through his left leg throwing him to the ground. In an instant the other two gunmen where dead on the ground. Price and the other Task Force members walked into the room. Price looked to everyone and spoke.

"Gasmasks on." He simply stated as he pulled out a gas mask. Lynne pulled out her gasmask and put it on. Lynne saw her girlfriend Yoshika do the same thing. Price pulled a canister out of his pack along with a gasmask. He thrust the canister in Waraabe's face and spoke. "Do you know what this is?" he asked Waraabe who tried to grab it. Price pulled the pin on the canister letting out a green colored gas and tossed it in the corner of the room. Waraabe tried to grab for the gasmask but Price held it out of his reach. "Tell me where Makarov is and its yours." He said to Waraabe who then began to speak.

"We never met Makarov I delivered the cargo for a man named Volk." Waraabe said to Price who still held the gasmask out of reach. Lynne noticed Hanna going over to the corner where the gas was spraying and she took off her mask. Soap then spoke.

"Hanna what the bloody hell are you doing!?" Soap demandedof her. Hanna then spoke.

"Hey Price you might want to wrap this up." She said to him. Price then spoke to Waraabe.

"Where is Volk?" Price demanded.

"I don't know!" Waraabe said. Soap went over to Waraabe and stomped on his leg wound.

"Damn it tell us where the fuck he is or so help me god I will toss your ass in that gas over there!" Soap shouted at Waraabe who yelled out in pain.

"PARIS! Volk oversaw the delivery in Paris!" Waraabe cried out. Price tossed the African warlord the gasmask and pulled out his pistol as Waraabe frantically tried to put on the mask.

"Right then this is for the boys in Hereford." Price said as he pointed the pistol at Waraabe.

"No Wai…" Waraabe started to say before Price shot him through the face.

"Damn it! you didn't have to kill him!" Yoshika protested to Price.

"He was responsible for killing millions of civilians Yoshika do you honestly think I was going to let him walk out of here alive?" Price asked Yoshika who continued to protest.

"Yeah well shouldn't we at least have taken him back for a fair trial?" Yoshika inquired. Before Price could reply Hanna spoke.

"Now is not the time for this come one let's move." She said as she practically shoved Soap and Price towards the exit. They exited the building and Hanna slammed the door after them. Soap put his hand on Hanna's shoulder.

"Hanna why did you take off your mask? You could have been killed." Soap told her. Hanna shook her head.

"No I wouldn't because as a witch I am immune to that type of gas." Hanna said to Soap who looked confused. "Price, Soap that was Miasma it is the chemical weapon the Neuroi use on our forces back in our world. Witches are immune to it but normal soldiers die horrific deaths because of this." She informed the group. Price looked confused.

"What are you sure? How could Makarov get his hands on an alien bio weapon?" Price inquired.

"I have no clue but either way things have just gotten a lot more dangerous for us." Hanna said to him. Yuri didn't look convinced.

"How do we know that it was Miasma you could be mistaken." Yuri said to Hanna. Then Lynne interjected.

"She is right it was Miasma I would recognize it anywhere. When our forces were retreating from the European mainland I saw the Neuroi use it on us dozens of times." Lynne told Price and the others. Then Cryska spoke.

"So in other words that means that Makarov might be in league with the aliens?" she asked the witches.

"I don't know but either way things have just gotten a lot more complicated." Hanna said to her.

"Right well we will discuss this later." Price said to the group before speaking into the radio. "Nikolai Waraabe broke and we are ready for evac heading to the LZ now are the choppers almost ready?" Price asked the Russian pilot who was heading to their location.

"Yes Captain I have two SH-60s with me right now to pick your team up." Nikolai said to Price who nodded.

"Ok good we are heading to the LZ now." Captain Price said to Nikolai.

"Understood you might want to hurry there is a sandstorm on the way." Nikolai warned the group. Lynne looked out to the west to see a massive sandstorm heading their way. Price then looked to the group and spoke.

"Ok people let's move. Oh and Hanna try not to risk your life again I am sure that Frost would never forgive me if you died on my watch." Price said with some affection in his voice. Hanna smirked.

"Don't worry I don't intend to die out here." Hanna replied as they started to head out to the LZ. They approached a courtyard where the helicopters were suppose to land when a gunshot rang out and one of the Loyalists head blew off.

"Shit Sniper!" Price shouted as a dozen gunmen emerged from hiding places. Lynne lined up a gunmen in her sights and pulled the trigger sending a five round burst into the man's head blowing it apart. Lynne then switched targets to a gunmen with a PKM in the open and she hosed him down with ten rounds from her FAMAS shredding his torso. Yuri fired an M203 grenade into a crowd of enemies blowing them to pieces. Cryska killed the sniper who killed the other Loyalist blowing his head off. "Nikolai this landing zone is too hot we are heading to the secondary LZ now!" Price said to Nikolai.

"Understood I will divert there now." Nikolai said. Price then looked back to the group.

"Come on we don't have much time push through them!" He shouted at them. Lynne and Yoshika raised their shields as they advanced bullets smacking into them as they pushed forward. Lynne lined up another target this terrorist had an RPG that he was leveling to shoot at Soap. Lynne shot him with a single shot through the head. Lynne moved up further shooting any terrorist that got in her way. She rounded a corner and saw the construction site which she remembered from the briefing would be their secondary extraction point. Lynne saw Nikolai's helicopter fly overhead spraying rockets and cannon fire into the enemy below. Lynne moved forward into the construction site. A militant with a shotgun fired a solid slug at her which bounced off her shield. Lynne fired a three round burst into him tossing him to the ground. Lynnette headed up the stairs with Yoshika and the other behind her. She fired into a group of militants taking cover by some construction supplies. Her bullets missed but she pulled out a grenade and tossed it over their cover killing them in a thunderous explosion. They arrived at the roof of the building and Lynne saw two gunmen waiting for them. She fired at the first and sent him plummeting off the building. Price shot the second one with his M4. From the surrounding rooftops gunfire erupted and bullets struck all around them in a maelstrom of fire. "Nikolai clear the rooftops we are taking some serious fire down here!" Price shouted to Nikolai.

"Roger that going in for a gun run now." Nikolai said as he fired his cannons at the enemy below. Lynnette saw masonry explode as the powerful 30mm cannon shells detonated across the roof tops. Nikolai fired rockets into another building completely demolishing it. he then turned to another building and just as he was about to fire an RPG struck his tail rotor and his helicopter started to spin out of control.

"Oh shit get off the roof!" Price shouted as he ran to one of the ropes on the rear end of the roof. Nikolai's choppers started to head in their direction and Lynnette sprinted to the rope. She lunged for the fast rope and caught it just as Nikolai's chopper smashed into the roof and skirted off and into the distance. Then a howling wind and sand engulfed her senses.

Sergeant Yoshika Miyafuji

10:00 local time

The sandstorm was upon them and Yoshika's senses where overwhelmed by the sheer power of the storm. Yoshika looked for Lynne and patted her on the shoulder.

"Are you alright Lynne?"Yoshika asked her girlfriend. Lynne nodded and put on her goggles to protect her eyes. Yoshika did the same thing.

"I am ok I am just worried about Nikolai." She told her. Yoshika nodded her head; she too was worried about the Russian pilot who had just crashed. Price then spoke over the radio.

"Lucchini do you see where Nikolai went down?" He asked the young witch flying the drone.

"Yeah he went down about four hundred meters west of your position." She told him. "But there are militia heading to his location now you better move fast." She told him.

"Understood thanks for the heads up." Price said to her.

"I have alerted the marines to your situation they say that they will send their LAVs to extract your team shortly; and to just be at the third rendezvous point when they get there." Lucchini informed the group.

"Roger that." Price said to her. "Ok people you heard the lady let's move." He said to them. Yoshika followed after Lynne. Finally now she could do something useful for the team she was sick of feeling like she was just dead weight since she refused to kill anyone. Now Nikolai would need her help and she could finally pull her weight. They moved up through the sandstorm; Yoshika saw up ahead a few militants with flares trying to guide their way through the storm. Price went down to one knee and lined up a target and fired. Lynne and Yuri fired as well followed by Cryska and Hanna. The lightening quick crack of automatic weapons fire permeated over the storm and the militants hit the ground. The group advanced further down the road trying to find where Nikolai went down. Then they heard gunfire up ahead. They sprinted forward trying to see where it was coming from. They eventually came to a ridge up ahead where three militants were firing down on something. Price and Soap fired on the militants killing them instantly. The group rushed forward to find the crash site. Nikolai had an arm poked out of the cockpit clutching his AK-74U carbine.

"It's about time that you got here. I was starting to think you had forgotten about me." Nikolai joked weakly. He looked pretty banged up. Yoshika ran over to him and pulled him out of the cockpit and began to work her healing magic. "No, its ok wait until we are in the LAVs." Nikolai said to Yoshika.

"Are you sure?" Yoshika asked as she took him by the shoulder and assisted him walking away from the downed helicopter. Two USMC LAVs rolled up and the ramps came down. A handful of marines took up security positions around the armored vehicles. Yoshika helped Nikolai into the vehicle and rested him on the seat before using her magic on him.

"So how the hell are we supposed to get into Paris? Last I heard it's a bloody warzone." Soap said to anyone who was listening.

"We won't but Sandman and his team will." Price said to the group.

Onboard the USS San Antonio

19:49 local time

"Ok so we found out that a man named Volk was responsible for delivering the chemical weapons to Europe and that he is currently in Paris. However we do not know where exactly he is in Paris." Sandman said to the assembled Task Force members. "So Eila I wanted to ask you something. Do you think you can use your magic to locate where he will be in Paris?" Sandman asked her. Eila nodded her head.

"I will try sir." She said to Sandman. She pulled out her tarot cards and drew the first card. It read "the Crypt". Then Eila's consciousness was ripped from her body.

Eila stared at the clock tower it was covered in blood and its hand stuck at seven. She then saw a city of bones and corpses. There was no light at all other than a small lamp on a desk. There she saw a fat man sitting and smoking a cigar. He held a phone up to his ear.

"Yes sir the attack was successful and the EU's defenses have been crippled." He said to someone; presumably Makarov. "Yes sir I will wait here for further instructions." He said then the vision ended and she saw the clock tower again this time the hour hand had shifted to eight o'clock. The her consciousness returned.

Onboard the USS San Antonio

Flying Officer Eila Ilmatar Juutilainen

19:52 local time

"I know where he is sir. He is underneath Paris in the catacombs where they use to store the dead back in ancient times." Eila told Sandman who nodded.

"Alright I guess we know where we are headed next. Saddle up people it's time to move out." Sandman said as he stood up. Eila thought to herself. She was now at eight o'clock; that meant that she had only three more hours left before she hit midnight. And when that happened what then?

ODESSA base "Purgatory" Antarctica

Commander Dominic Lockhart

00:00 local time

Commander Lockhart was a tough man. He had served for twenty years as a member of the Elite PMC organization known as CELL. He had seen combat on every continent and fought every enemy type imaginable; from FARC guerrillas in Columbia, to Spetsnaz troops in Russia during the Second Russian Civil War. Five years ago he was put in charge of the entire organization by the board of directors when they swore loyalty to General Shepherd and his dream of creating an empire for America. However upon Shepherd's death and learning of what the American General was secretly trying to prevent. Dominic found himself in a crisis of faith. Part of Shepherd's plan was to kill Makarov and prevent him from completing some kind of ritual to unleash an alien menace on humanity but now that Shepherd was dead what was ODESSA going to do now. Well that was partially what he was going to ask ODESSA's new leader about now. Number Zero was an odd man apparently all of the Intel ODESSA had on both the aliens and the witches was because of Number Zero. Zero was the person who also created the anti-magic bullet so the organization could effectively fight the witches by destroying their shields. But now that Shepherd was dead could Zero effectively lead the organization? Dominic put these thoughts aside as he approached Zero's office near the bottom of the facility. Purgatory was an underwater facility located in Antarctica. Most of ODESSA's research and development came from this facility and the fact that it had gone unnoticed by any intelligence group for the last ten years was quite impressive. Two CELL mercenaries guarded Zero's chambers and they saluted him as he approached. Dominic saluted back and entered the office.

"Hello Commander." Number Zero said as Dominic entered the room. Zero was sitting in his chair facing away from the commander; he was smoking a cigar and staring out into the ocean. In his office the rear wall was actually reinforced glass looking out into the water. Zero tended to keep the lights lit low so he could better see the outside world.

"Good evening sir." Commander Lockhart replied.

"You wanted to speak to me?" Zero asked Lockhart.

"Yes sir. I wanted to inform you that Makarov has unleashed a chemical attack upon all of Europe inflicting tens of millions of causalities couple this with the invasion by the Russian Army and it appears that Makarov has everything in place to complete the ritual. It would appear sir that the Neuroi's arrival to this world is now inevitable." Dominic told Zero who just puffed on his cigar.

"A pity… Shepherd was the only person on the planet who could have stopped the Neuroi from coming to this world. Now that he is dead America has no chance of obtaining its empire; and we have no chance of stopping the Neuroi's arrival. But perhaps this may be a blessing in disguise." Zero said to Dominic.

"Um sir?" Dominic said to Zero.

"I did my best to keep the Neuroi occupied with the witch's world; I even sent the schematics for a new striker unit to their world to keep the fight going. But it appears that the witches managed to even screw that up. Now we stand on the verge of a new era for humanity. With the Neuroi's arrival to this world they will kill the majority of the human population but perhaps we can use this to our benefit. I believe that we can now move ahead with ODESSA's final goal. We will use the Neuroi's technology to complete the Forced Human Evolution Project and bring about the next stage in mankind's evolution." Zero told Dominic. The Forced Human Evolution Project or FHEP for short; Dominic had learned of this when he swore loyalty to ODESSA he knew that once America had its empire ODESSA would use its scientists to find a way to complete the project and uplift mankind. But how did the Neuroi fit in with this equation.

"With Alien Technology I believe that we will be able to complete the FHEP quicker than we initially thought possible; but that still leaves the question of how do you intend to destroy the Neuroi?" Dominic asked Zero who smirked.

"I do not intend to destroy the Neuroi Commander Lockhart." Number Zero told Dominic. Number Zero then turned to face Dominic. "I intend to control them." Doctor Ichiro Miyafuji said to Commander Lockhart with a slight smirk on his face. Doctor Miyafuji smiled for the first time in several years… everything was going according to plan.

Oh holy shit Doctor Miyafuji is the leader of ODESSA! I bet no one saw that one coming. yeah so I always wondered in canon what the fuck happened to Ichiro so I thought to myself what if he had made it to the COD world and met General Shepherd. also for those who are wondering Ichiro is channeling the Illusive man from mass effect apparently. anyways now I have to say that it is pretty scary that Ichiro wants to control the Neuroi now and what is the Forced Human Evolution Project I don't know about you but that sounds like that can't be good. anyways so yeah I will upload the next chapter as soon as possible but plz R/R and FAV/Follow because that will motivate me to upload faster.
