The woman reached for a weapon in a drawer as soon as Cas appeared in the kitchen, on the other side of the island counter from her, but thankfully she didn't attack either. She did however look to the back french doors. Cas didn't know whether she was worried about the children seeing him, or was thinking about how quickly she could get to it to stop Cas from going through it. A foolish errand since most angels could still fly, at least such a short distance.

"What are you doing here?" She asked harshly. Cas didn't move, not wanting to alarm the woman.

"Your daughter is in danger. Where is she?" He explained simply but urgently.

"Lydia? What? Why is she in danger?" Before he could answer the woman, they could hear the girl yelling from the backyard.

"Who the hell are you?! Let go of me!" The girl screamed as they ran out the back door, the mother producing something that looked vaguely like a angel blade but was clearly not one. As they came through the door, they saw one of the werewolves thrown aside as he tried to charge one of Cas' siblings, Empyrean. They never got along too much and Cas highly doubted they'd stop at his request. Two more werewolves charged just after the young man, the older man and a young got thrown away immediately, but it at least got Empyrean to let go of the cambion girl, though it meant the man getting stabbed before getting thrown into the pool.

"Lydia, come here!" The girl's mother yelled, the girl look back at her mother with a pitiful look, almost resigned to death.

"Mom, stay back!" She cried. It would make things more complicated to have her in the way, but Cas had to rush to her defense either way. However Empyrean was ready for him, and they were almost immediately locked into a stalemate.

"Empy, please, look at your actions. This child has done nothing, leave her alone!" Empyrean fixed him with a perplexed look he should have expected, but was much less used to since the fall.

"It's no child, Castiel, it's a snake hiding under human skin! He must be destroyed before he destroys us!" Cas fixed them with an equally confused look but Empyrean didn't waste any time in pushing him away and kicking him into the water as he tried to discern what they meant. He resurfaced immediately, taking a second to work up the strength to fly out.

"-now, Bermodeus…" He heard his sibling say before he set upon them again. The name rung a bell but not enough to distract him from protecting the young woman. "Castiel, why are you-" Suddenly someone else was crashing into them from the side, one of the werewolves again Cas assumed, but suddenly he heard the boy from before yell.

"Leave her alone!" He said as his lithe figure crashed into Empyrean. They apparently hadn't been expecting it because they went crashing to the ground with him from the force. However there was no more struggle after that. Empyrean didn't move at all, vessel erupting with light as their wings burned into the ground and fence around them. The boy was still for a minute as well, until the girl went over, calling out to him with his name, pulling him up when he responded by trying to get off of Empyrean. He stumbled as he stood, and Cas came over to help him keep from falling. The boy however pulled away immediately, seeing a bit dazed but standing fine. "Don't- I- I don't need- Help Peter, he's hurt." Cas nodded and went to help the man having a hard time climbing from the pool. Why he didn't go to the stairs on the other side was beyond Cas, but he supposed for a mortal being, swimming with a hole in your abdomen would be pretty disagreeable. Before he could even finish pulling the man out of the water, he heard three more people rush out into the yard, and Crowley's voice.

"Lydia, darling…" He drawled, walking quickly over to the young girl, taking her face in his hands. Cas noted the boy was gone now. "Are you alright? Is everyone alright? What happened?" The girl touched her forehead to Crowley's, and the clear genuine affection almost made Cas uncomfortable, most likely due to the fact that earlier today he wasn't sure he'd have believed demons capable of such genuine… love, he supposed? He of course knew demon were capable of a certain err of sentimentality… He just….

"I'm fine, Daddy… That woman, she attacked me. The others tried to protect me. Scott and Malia just got thrown, but she stabbed Peter." The young woman seemed to stumble. Likely the adrenaline elevating her stress.

"It's alright now, dear… We'll fix up your friend. She can't hurt anyone anymore…" Crowley looked around the yard as he pulled the girl into a hug. After a moment he pulled back. "Where's that little boyfriend of yours, darling? He wasn't hurt, was he?" Cas could vaguely hear the girl sniffle.

"No, no. Stiles- he- While that guy in the overcoat tried to keep the woman from hurting me, Stiles tackled her, and-" She just looked to the body of Empyrean in lieu of saying what happened. "- He needed a minute to catch his breath, so he went to clean himself off." Crowley nodded with a smile and kissed his... daughter's head.

"I suppose I should go make nice and thank him then, eh?" Cas found that uncharacteristic of Crowley, but at least it made his daughter smile...
