Episode 266: Power Rangers Dino Thunder: Fighting Spirit
A few days later, Tommy reveals Haley has figured out a way to make him visible again
"It's too dangerous" said Haley
"Use my Dino Gem" said Tommy
Elsewhere, Elsa finds a powerful crystal
At the Dino Lab, Tommy is hooked up to a machine that is powered by the Black Dino Gem
"I hope this works" said Haley and she flips a switch, Tommy is visible, but his Dino Gem shattered into 3 pieces and he is in a coma
At Mesogog's Lab, Elsa presents the crystal
"The crystal has the same properties as the Dino Gems, including a connection to the Morphing Grid" said Elsa "we will use it to power the new White Terrorsaurus"
Meanwhile, Haley and the Rangers bring Tommy to a hospital
"I don't know what to do" said the doctor as he left "we'll just have to wait and pray"
The news showed the White Terrorsaurus attacking
"Go Rangers" said Haley "I'll watch Tommy" and they rush to the battle
Inside Tommy's head, he's in a desert with a red tint.
"Hello Tommy" said a voice that sounded much like his own "remember me?" and he turns to see the Red Zeo Ranger "Zeo Ranger V, don't tell me you've forgotten already"
"But that's impossible" said Tommy
"Oh, it's possible" said the Red Zeo Ranger "and I'm still as tough as ever, the question is, are you?"
"What is this?" Tommy asked "I'm not going to fight you"
"Then I supposed you will die" said the Red Zeo Ranger and he prepares to fight
"The Gem, its gone" said Tommy looking at his wrist and he begins to fight the Red Zeo Ranger. The Red Zeo Ranger throws him in a river
"Washed up already Tommy?" the Red Zeo Ranger asked but then Tommy throws him in the river "I see you've got a lot of fight left in you, but is it enough?"
"Wait" said Tommy "what are you talking about?" but the Red Zeo Ranger teleports away in a streak of red.
The Rangers are already morphed and battling the White Terrorsaurus and losing. It gets blasted by Trent on the White Dino ATV.
In Tommy's head, the desert turns to a white-tinted forest.
"Something tell's me I'm not in Reefside anymore" said Tommy
"Or Angel Grove" said a voice that again sounded like Tommy's as the White Power Ranger appeared "Finally cut the hair, huh Tommy?"
"White Ranger?" Tommy asked "But your Powers were destroyed"
"You can't keep a good Ranger down" said the White Power Ranger
"Not again" said Tommy and two fight
"For old time's sake" said the White Power Ranger. Tommy does fine until the White Power Ranger pulls out Saba
At Reefside, the White Terrorsaurus uses its crystal's connection to the Morphing Grid to cut the Rangers connection to it off and they are forced to demorph
In Tommy's head, the White Power Ranger knocks Tommy down.
"Are you still with me?" the White Power Ranger asked "Come on, get up!" and he picks Tommy up, pushes him up against a tree and holds Saba to his throat "Don't forget, I know all your old moves"
"That might be true" said Tommy "but I've learned some new ones" and he uses a new move to knock the White Power Ranger to the ground
"Impressive" said the White Power Ranger "but now we'll see if you can face your toughest challenge" and he vanishes
"What?" Tommy asked "that wasn't tough?" and the forest gains a green tint "okay, this is weird, even by Ranger standards" and he hears a familiar tune and sees the Dragon Dagger materialize and he grabs it. "I thought I might run into you" as the Green Power Ranger appears.
"It's been a while Tommy" said the Green Power Ranger "I've seen you switched to basic black"
"It seems to work for me" said Tommy "let me guess, you want to fight?"
"You guessed right" said the Green Power Ranger and they fight. Tommy quickly loses the Dragon Dagger to the Green Power Ranger, who plays it, sending energy towards Tommy, knocking him off his feet.
At Reefside, the Rangers decide to continue to fight without their Powers.
In Tommy's head, the Green Power Ranger holds the Dragon Dagger to Tommy's throat
"You know better than anybody how powerful I am, why don't you just give up the fight: deny Christ" said the Green Power Ranger
"That's one thing I'll never do" said Tommy
"Then I guess it's over" said the Green Power Ranger as he prepares to kill Tommy "you passed the test" and he helps Tommy up.
"Test?" Tommy asked "what are you talking about?"
"You haven't been fighting us" said the Red Zeo Ranger as he appeared "you've been fighting for your life"
"And you've proven that your Faith in Christ is stronger than any Ranger power" said the White Power Rangers as he appeared. All 3 Rangers hold out the hands to show Tommy the 3 fragments of the Black Dino Gem.
"This is yours" said the 3 Rangers in unison and he takes the pieces "Good luck, Black Ranger"
In the hospital, Tommy wakes up.
"Tommy" said Haley "you're okay"
"Yeah" said Tommy "never felt better" and he opens his hand to reveal a whole Black Dino Gem
At Reefside, the White Terrorsaurus is about to finish off the Rangers, Tommy appears
"What's one more?" the monster asked
"DINO THUNDER, POWER UP!" said Tommy "BRACHIO! SUPER DINO MODE!" and he unlocks his Super Dino Mode and fights the monster "BRACHIO STAFF: ENERGY ORB!" and he destroys the monster, restoring the Rangers connection to the Morphing Grid.
Elsa uses the Hydro-Regenerator to make the monster grow.
"BRACHIOZORD!" said Tommy and he turns the Key in his Morpher and the Brachiozord appears. The Brachio Morpher's face turns into the Tyrannozord, Tricerazord, and Pterazord plates. In between each change Tommy turns the key and the Brachiozord opens and the Zords run out.
"TYRANNOZORD!" said Conner
"TRICERAZORD!" said Ethan
"PTERAZORD!" said Kira
"THUNDERSAURUS MEGAZORD!" said Conner, but the Megazord gets trashed "SUPER DINO MODE!" and they assumed Super Dino Mode and the Megazord powers up. "SUPER DINO DRILL!" and the attack destroys the monster
"Power Down" said Tommy and the Rangers demorphed and the Rangers go to the Dino Lab and Tommy explains his "dream"
"Weird" said Ethan
"The only thing I don't get is where was the Red Turbo Ranger?" Tommy asked
"Your Red Turbo Powers were transferred to TJ" said Haley
"Then why did the Green Power Ranger appear, Tom has those Powers?" Tommy asked
"Your Green Ranger Powers were never transferred from you to Tom" said Haley "Tom could use your Powers without a transfer because he was your clone, and already had the side effects of the Green Ranger Powers in his DNA and the Green Power Morpher accepted his DNA"
"Side effects?" Ethan asked
"All Ranger Powers leave special energy in your DNA, even if you only morph once" said Haley "certain Ranger Powers, such as the Power Coins, Turbo Morphers, Quasar Sabers, Titanium Powers, Power Crystals, Power Discs, and Dino Gems, bind with your DNA on the first successful morph and require a Power Transfer to allow another user. Although, the Quasar Sabers did allow a select few alternates users in emergencies. The special energy won't effect your health in anyway though"
"How can Dr. N. use my Powers then?" Trent asked
"His Drago Morpher is connected directly to the Morphing Grid" said Haley "without a Dino Gem"
"How did that monster steal our Powers?" Kira asked
"I'm not quite sure" said Haley "the villains have seemed to be able to use connections to the Morphing Grid to cut off others. Lothor did it to the Wind and Thunder Rangers"
"Is that why I can't access the Drago and Stegozords?" Trent asked
"No" said Haley "that is because Dr. Nakadai and you share the White Dino Powers. The user of the Zords is chosen by whoever has the most in faith in his master"
"I'm my own master" said Trent
"And Dr. Nakadai's is his" said Tommy "apparently he is more prideful than you are"
"I'm not prideful" said Trent "It's not pride to believe yourself"
"That is exactly what pride is" said Tommy and Trent storms out. Tommy takes out his Key, which is folded and plays the tune that his Dragon Dagger used to play for bit and then switches to "Amazing Grace" as he prays for Trent's soul
At the site of the destruction of the White Terrorsaurus, some men pick up the remains of the crystal
"The Prince will be pleased with these" said one of the men "the next part of his plan is going well…"
