Episode 278: Power Rangers SPD: Beginnings: Part II

The cadets and thieves try to fight, but fail. The cadets take out their Morphers

"SPD EMERGENCY!" said Sky "SPD, B-SQUAD, BLUE RANGER 2!"

"SPD, B-SQUAD, GREEN RANGER 3!" said Bridge

"SPD, B-SQUAD, PINK RANGER 5!" said Sydney

"Blue?" Sky asked "I'm suppose to be red"

"We'll worry about that later" said Sydney

"Right" said Sky "DeltaMax Strikers!" the Rangers fight the Krybots, and Jack and Z help. They destroy them. "Power Down. You two are under arrest"

"But we helped you" said Jack. Cruger drives up

"Stand down Cadet Tate" said Cruger

At the Delta Base, Jack and Z are in prison. Cruger walks into their cell

"Today is your lucky day" said Cruger "Because of your unique Powers and excellent fighting skills, I'm going to offer you a pardon in exchange for a minimum one year's service as Power Rangers"

"Why would we want to be Power Rangers?" Jack asked

"To be part of something bigger" said Cruger "And to serve God"

"How do you know we believe in God?" Jack asked

"That's why you steal and then give to the poor" said Cruger "I'd admire your desire to help the poor, but as it is written 'Thou shall not steal'"

"I'm in" said Z "I've actually felt guilty about stealing, but I couldn't think of any better way to help others"

"I'm not" said Jack

"Jack!" said Z

"Very well" said Cruger "it's your choice. Come along, Cadet Delgado"

"Okay" said Z as they left.

The cadets are training outside of the Delta Base when Cruger and Z walk up

"Cadets" said Cruger "this is Cadet Delgado, the newest addition to the B-Squad"

"But Commander" said Sky "she's a thief and she hasn't had the years of training we've had"

"She beat you" said Cruger "She's part of your team so treat her like one. That's an order"

"Yes Commander" said Sky

Back in prison, Z talks to Jack in his cell

"Why don't you join us?" Z asked

"I don't want to fight, I want to help people" said Jack

"This is helping people" said Z "but I suppose I can't make you do anything"

"B-Squad, please report to the command center" said Kat through the intercom

"I've got to go" said Z

Downtown, the B-Squad is cleaning up debris from one of the Megazord's battle

"I thought we were suppose to fight aliens" said Sydney "not clean garbage"

"I should have stayed in prison" said Z

At the prison, Jack smells smoke

"Help!" said Jack "there's a fire in here" RIC comes and lets him out and they put out the fire, which was caused by Boom

"Thanks" said Boom "where'd you come from anyways?"

"Prison" said Jack "where'd you come from?"

"I tried to be a cadet here, but flunked out after three days" said Boom "Cruger took pity on me and made me Dr. Manx's assistant. It was always my dream to be a Ranger"

"You want to be a Ranger?" Jack asked

"Who wouldn't?" Boom asked

Back on the street, Z takes the device given to her and Jack to Piggy

"Can you tell me what this is Piggy?" Z asked

"A proton accelerator" said Piggy "they're pretty rare" All of a sudden, Krybots, including a blue one show up. The cadets take out their Morphers

"SPD EMERGENCY!" said Sky "SPD, B-SQUAD, BLUE RANGER 2!"

"SPD, B-SQUAD, GREEN RANGER 3!" said Bridge

"SPD, B-SQUAD, YELLOW RANGER 4!" said Z

"SPD, B-SQUAD, PINK RANGER 5!" said Sydney

"DeltaMax Striker: Sniper!" said Sky

"DeltaMax Striker: Blaster!" said Bridge

"DeltaMax Strikers: Shot!" said Z and Sydney and the B-Squad fights the Krybots

Boom takes Jack to the command center to have him transferred from another cell. Jack sees on the monitor the Rangers fighting and losing

"Are they going to be okay?" Jack asked

"They should" said Cruger "but they need a fifth Ranger"

"Fine" said Jack "I'll do it, but only to save Z"

"Then take this" said Cruger and he hands Jack a Delta Morpher

At the battle the Rangers are losing badly. Jack runs up.

"It's Jack" said Z

"You guys need any help?" Jack asked

"Just with him" said Z, indicating the Blue Krybot

"SPD EMERGENCY!" said Jack "SPD, B-SQUAD, RED RANGER 1! Let's get this party started"

"You're on" said Blue Krybot

"You've got to be kidding me" said Sky "he's the Red Ranger?"

"Delta Blasters" said Jack and he blasts the Krybots until only the blue one is left "Delta Combo Blaster" and he blasts the Blue Krybot, destroying him.

An alien named activates a giant robot. Sky takes out his Delta Morpher

"Sir" said Sky "Blue Ranger requesting Delta Runners! Looks like we're about to battle a giant robot."

"Negative Cadet Tate" said Cruger "the A-Squad will use them"

The Delta Base opens up and the Delta Runners drive out.

"DELTA SQUAD MEGAZORD!" said the Red A-Squad Ranger and the Delta Runners combine into the Delta Squad Megazord.

"5!" said the Pink A-Squad Ranger

"4!" said the Yellow A-Squad Ranger

"3!" said the Green A-Squad Ranger

"2!" said the Blue A-Squad Ranger

"1!" said the Red A-Squad Ranger

"FIRE!" said the A-Squad Rangers and the robot was destroyed

Elsewhere, Piggy reveals he stole the proton accelerator from Z and gives it to Grumm, who uses it to bring his ship to Earth.

Outside the Delta Base, Cruger hands Jack and Z cleaning supplies

"You can begin repaying your debt to society by washing the windows" said Cruger and he walks away. RIC walks up.

"How windows are there?" Jack asked

"I have no idea" said Z as RIC's display shows the number 1273.

"I think I liked it better when I didn't know" said Jack "Let's each take half"

"Sounds good to me" said Z

"Me too" said Z's clone

"Race ya" said another clone "Loser buys dinner!" and the others come up and help them clean as RIC sprays them.
