Episode 285: Power Rangers SPD: Shadow: Part I

At the Delta Base, Cruger wakes up from a nightmare about Sirius, his home world being attacked by Grumm

"Are you okay Commander?" Kat asked Cruger

"I'm fine Kat" said Cruger "it was just a nightmare"

Later, Jack takes out an Orangehead Krybot while the rest of the B-Squad captures an alien.

On Grumm's Ship, Grumm confronts Mora about the failure of her monsters

"If you continue to fail me, I'll turn you back into what I found you" said Grumm

"Maybe you should take out Commander Cruger" said Mora

"That's it!" said Grumm "I need to contact an old associate"

In New Tech City, Broodwing is threatening Piggy

"If you don't have my money by tonight, you'll die a slow painful death" said Broodwing and he throws Piggy in the trash. Piggy finds a winning lottery ticket and uses the money to pay back Broodwing and buys himself a mobile restaurant.

"I even gave you an extra $1000 to get your fishbowl winterized"

"You may be a millionaire, but you're still the same disgusting, filthy, wretched piece of worthless garbage to me!" said Broodwing

"Thank you!" said Piggy "It's nice to know money hasn't changed me."

Grumm appears and takes on a human form and goes to Piggy's where he meets Broodwing.

"Broodwing" said Grumm

"Is that you Grumm?" Broodwing asked

"Of course it is" said Grumm "one of my top generals will be arriving. Do whatever he says, put anything he asks for on my bill"

At the Delta Base, alarms go off and the B-Squad rushes to the command center.

"I've detected a cloaked energy signature" said Kat "go find out what it is"

"Yes, ma'am" said the B-Squad and they rush to the location to see Broodwing talking to an alien

"Who are you?" Jack asked

"I'm General Benaag" said Benaag "please give this to your commander" and he holds out a ball and the B-Squad reaches for their Morphers "it's a communication device, not a bomb" and they take it and return to the Delta Base

At the Delta Base they watch the recording

"I challenge you Doggie Cruger to battle" said the recording of Benaag

"I refuse" said Cruger

"Why?" Jack asked

"A long time ago" said Cruger "Grumm attacked my home planet of Sirius. Grumm's forces were led by General Benaag. To fight the army, the first squadron of SPD was formed. We lost, my planet was destroyed, I was the only one to make it out alive"

"Commander…" said Sydney when alarms go off

"A giant robot is placing spikes throughout the city" said Kat

"Take the Delta Runners and stop them" said Cruger

"SPD EMERGENCY!" said Jack "SPD, B-SQUAD, RED RANGER 1!"

"SPD, B-SQUAD, BLUE RANGER 2!" said Sky

"SPD, B-SQUAD, GREEN RANGER 3!" said Bridge

"SPD, B-SQUAD, YELLOW RANGER 4!" said Z

"SPD, B-SQUAD, PINK RANGER 5!" said Sydney and they go over to some emergency chutes that take them to the Delta Runners.

"RED DELTA RUNNER 1!" said Jack

"BLUE DELTA RUNNER 2!" said Sky

"GREEN DELTA RUNNER 3!" said Bridge

"YELLOW DELTA RUNNER 4!" said Z

"PINK DELTA RUNNER 5!" said Sydney. The Delta Base opens up and the Delta Runners rush to the battle.

At the Delta Base, Kat talks to Cruger

"I made something for you" said Kat and she hands Cruger a box. He opens it and then closes it.

"Mind your own business" said Cruger

"But Commander…" said Kat

"Get out!" said Cruger

"You stubborn old dog!" said Kat and she put the box down as she left.

At the battle, the Rangers have forced the robot to retreat and are about to form the Megazord and pull the spikes out the ground when Cruger interrupts

"Retreat Rangers" said Cruger

"But…" began Jack

"That's an order!" said Cruger and they return to the Delta Base

"We could have removed those spikes" said Jack

"What would have happened when you did that?" Cruger asked and nobody answered "I'm the only one who knows what we're facing here"

In New Tech City, Kat is ambushed by Krybots. She fights them off and then Benagg shows up.

"Come with me Dr. Manx or you die" said Benagg and then RIC shows up "here puppy, puppy" and RIC rushes at Benagg who shoots him

"RIC!" screams Kat
