Episode 288: Power Rangers SPD: Wired: Part II
At the Delta Base, Cruger is looking for Sophie
"Cadets" said Cruger "have you seen Sophie anywhere?"
"We expelled her from SPD" said Jack
"Why'd you do that?" Cruger asked
"We discovered she was an android" said Jack "and that she had messed up the DBDS"
"On whose authority did you discharge her?" Cruger asked and the B-Squad was silent "just because you're Rangers doesn't give you the right to discharge whoever you want. Sophie should have had a court martial, not be expelled without due process of law. Find her and bring her to me, a military tribunal will decide her fate"
"Yes sir" said Jack
At Piggy's, the B-Squad arrives and Piggy's customers run away
"Stop scaring my customers away" said Piggy
"They're monsters" said Sky
"To them you're the monsters" said Piggy "what do I have to do to get rid of you guys?"
"Have you seen her?" Bridge asked showing Piggy a picture of Sophie
"No, sorry" said Piggy "now get out of here!" and the B-Squad leaves. Sophie comes out of a corner and is captured by Valko. He takes her to Goradon, sneaking by the SPD guards, and ties her into the system.
At the Delta Base, Bridge is thinking while the others watch him
"I've got it" said Bridge "Valko said he was after a Series One Processor Hyper Intelligent Encryptor and then went after Sophie. Only her name isn't Sophie, but SOPHIE"
"You lost me Bridge" said Jack
"SOPHIE isn't a name" said Bridge "but an acronym"
"Okay" said Jack "but how do we find her?" and their Delta Morphers begin beeping. Jack answers it "Go ahead Kat"
"I've tracked Valko" said Kat "I'm send you his coordinates" and they race to find Valko, followed by RIC
"SPD EMERGENCY!" said Jack "SPD, B-SQUAD, RED RANGER 1!"
"SPD, B-SQUAD, BLUE RANGER 2!" said Sky
"SPD, B-SQUAD, GREEN RANGER 3!" said Bridge
"SPD, B-SQUAD, YELLOW RANGER 4!" said Z
"SPD, B-SQUAD, PINK RANGER 5!" said Sydney and they battle him. Bridge tosses RIC his bone
"CANINE CANNON!" said Bridge "JUDGEMENT TIME! You are charged with attacking the Delta Base and kidnapping SOPHIE" the Delta Morpher flashes between innocent and guilty before landing on guilty. "FIRE!"
"I'm out of here" said Valko and he teleports back to Goradon.
"Rangers" said Kat via the Delta Morphers "Goradon is attacking, I'm sending the Delta Runners"
"RED DELTA RUNNER 1!" said Jack
"BLUE DELTA RUNNER 2!" said Sky
"GREEN DELTA RUNNER 3!" said Bridge
"YELLOW DELTA RUNNER 4!" said Z
"PINK DELTA RUNNER 5!" said Sydney. The Delta Base opens up and the Delta Runners rush to the battle.
"DELTA SQUAD MEGAZORD!" said Jack and the Megazord is formed the Megazord tries to shoot Goradon, but it just knocks the Megazord away.
Inside Goradon, SOPHIE manages to escape Goradon's wires. Valko loses control of Goradon and chases down SOPHIE
"You fool" said Valko "now no one will be able to control Goradon. Now don't make me destroy you"
"HELP!" screams SOPHIE in a high-pitch voice. As Valko is about to severely damage SOPHIE, Cruger appears
"Good job SOPHIE" said Cruger "now let me take care of this"
"Right Commander" said SOPHIE
"SPD EMERGENCY!" said Cruger "DEFENDER OF THE GALAXY, SPD SHADOW RANGER 100! Shadow Saber!" and he battles Valko "JUDGEMENT TIME! You are charged with attacking the Delta Base and kidnapping and attempting to destroy SOPHIE" the Patrol Morpher flashes between innocent and guilty before landing on guilty. SHADOW SABER: CONTAINMENT STRIKE!" and the attack contained Valko. "Let's go home SOPHIE" and Cruger takes her back to the Delta Base
"The Megazord is getting trashed" said Kat
"Bring the DBDS Phase I online" said Cruger
"Delta Commander Crawler activate" said Kat and the Delta Command Crawler joins the battle, but still can't beat Goradon.
"Is Phase II operational yet?" Cruger asked
"It still has months worth of work to be done" said Kat
"I can finish it" said SOPHIE
"You ruined it last time" said Kat
"I'm really sorry about that" said SOPHIE "but when Valko hooked me up to Goradon, I learned what I did wrong here, with your help I can fix it if you hook me directly into the Delta Base's computers"
"I don't know" said Kat "even if you do fix it, hooking directly into the Delta Base's computers could destroy both them and you if you make a mistake"
"That's a risk I'm willing to take" said SOPHIE
"I believe she can do it" said Bridge through his Delta Morpher into Cruger's Patrol Morpher.
"What do you think Commander?" Kat asked
"I believe in her" said Cruger "but I'll leave the final choice up to you"
"Please let me fix my mistake" said SOPHIE
"All right" said Kat "Commander, will you take the controls while I finish this"
"Sure" said Cruger and he begins to control the Delta Command Crawler. Kat hooks up SOPHIE to the Delta Base's mainframe
"Here we go SOPHIE" said Kat and they begin coding "Done!"
"Did it work?" Cruger asked
"Let's find out" said Kat and she goes to the microphone "Attention cadets, Lockdown initiated, get to your safety zones immediately. Delta Base Defense System Phase II activated" and the Delta Command Crawler begins to transform. Cruger is moved to the cockpit as the Delta Command Megazord is formed "Delta Command Megazord, online" and the Delta Command Megazord walks up to the Delta Squad Megazord. The Delta Command Megazord plugs its fingers into the back of the Delta Squad Megazord.
"Let's go team" said Jack as they took their Morphers from the control panels, opening the back of their cockpits and they leave. This takes them inside the fingers of the Delta Command Megazord, which they climb and leads them to the cockpit. They plug their Morphers in powering up the cockpit. The Delta Squad Megazord disassembles and drives away from the scene.
"PANEL BLAST!" said Cruger and the blast destroyed Goradon. "Power Down" and the Delta Command Megazord returns to Base form and the Rangers are returned to the command center and demorphed.
Later, in the Delta Base, Cruger walks in with SOPHIE to see the B-Squad
"How'd the court martial go?" Bridge asked
"We decided that while what she did was wrong" said Cruger "she made up for it by fixing the DBDS. However, she's been reassigned to the Theta Quadrant to help them fix their computer systems"
"I guess this is goodbye then" said Bridge "I'll miss you SOPHIE"
"I'll miss you too" said SOPHIE
"Also" said Cruger "apparently the United Nations Security Counsel didn't appreciate it when their HQ went mobile and then turned into a Megazord. They ordered me to disable the DBDS"
"Would they have preferred to allow the Base to be destroyed with the rest of the city?" Jack asked
"What did you tell them sir?" Sky asked
"I told them that while it is not our practice to escalate a battle unless necessary" said Cruger "SPD does not take orders from the United Nations. We allow them to use the Delta Base as their HQ and if they don't like it they can leave. They grumbled that as long as its not too often they'll stay"
On Grumm's Ship, Grumm is yelling at Mora
"You have failed me for the last time Mora" said Grumm and he zaps her, turning into an adult "now if you want me to turn you back Morgana you will destroy the Rangers"
Elsewhere, in the Dark Man's Lair, his henchmen are reporting to him
"Your plan was executed flawlessly" said a henchman
"Excellent" said the Dark Man
"It was brilliant" said the henchman "I might add, to manipulate Valko into trying to control Goradon with SOPHIE thus giving her and by extension SPD the ability to activate DBDS Phase II. But one question: why did you want it activated?"
"Simple" said the Dark Man "In a few years I'll be in the position to use it for myself and while the Base by itself is nice, I prefer the Megazord"
