Episode 289: Power Rangers SPD: Boom

In New Tech City, the B-Squad is being defeated by Krybots. Out of no where, an Orange SPD Ranger appears

"SPD, A-SQUAD, ORANGE RANGER 0!" said the Orange Ranger. He defeats the Krybots and then takes off his helmet, revealing himself to be Boom. Boom then wakes up from his dream to see someone holding out a letter to him "oh, no, my parents can't come, I told them I was the Orange Ranger"

At Piggy's, Morgana enlists Tomars to help her destroy the Rangers

"I can use my laptop to trap them in cyberspace" said Tomars "and then you can bring them to Grumm"

"How does it work?" Morgana asked

"Like this" said Tomars and he traps Piggy inside for a minute before letting him out

At the Delta Base, Cruger calls Jack and Sky to the command center

"Cadets" said Cruger "I have detected an energy spike in the city. It is probably nothing, but check it out anyways"

"Yes, sir" said Jack and Sky and they leave

At the entrance to the Delta Base, Boom's parents, Phil and Louise, are looking for Boom and they run into Bridge, Z, and Sydney

"Can you help us find our son Boom?" Louise asked

"Sure" said Bridge

"RIC" said Sydney "find Boom" and they follow RIC to a closet where Boom is hiding.

In New Tech City, Jack and Sky run into Tomars

"We've detected an energy spike here" said Sky "what was it?"

"This" said Tomars and he sucked them into his laptop. He follows them into the laptop.

"SPD EMERGENCY!" said Jack "SPD, B-SQUAD, RED RANGER 1!"

"SPD, B-SQUAD, BLUE RANGER 2!" said Sky and they fight Tomars

"Sky" said Jack "call for backup"

"You can't contact the other Rangers in here" said Tomars "no one can save you now"

"I wouldn't be so sure about that" said a voice and they turned to see six Rangers

"Who are you?" Tomars asked

"Red Cyber Ranger" said Ezra

"Green Cyber Ranger" said Saul

"Blue Cyber Ranger" said Mordecai

"Yellow Cyber Ranger" said Elizabeth

"Pink Cyber Ranger" said Phoebe

"Black Cyber Ranger" said Nehemiah

"HACKING THROUGH ANY FIREWALL, STOPPING ANY VIRUS! POWER RANGERS CYBER SQUAD!" said the Cyber Rangers "Cyber Swords" and they help Jack and Sky fight Tomars

At the Delta Base, Boom takes Bridge, Z, and Sydney to the side

"I told my parents I was the Orange Ranger, the leader of the A-Squad" said Boom "can you guys help me pretend just for the day?"

"Sure" said Z and they train with Boom, going easy on him. Boom takes his parents and RIC for a walk. They see the Green, Yellow, and Pink B-Squad Rangers fighting over a laptop with Krybots.

"Now's our chance to see you in action" said Phil

"SPD Emergency" said Louise

"I forgot my Morpher at the Delta Base" said Boom "I'll be right back. Come on RIC!" A few minutes later, Boom appears in a homemade Orange Ranger costume riding RIC in motorcycle mode. "SPD, A-Squad, Orange Ranger 0" and he tries to fight the Krybots, but loses badly. The Rangers try to protect him, but the Krybots escape with the laptop instead.

At the Delta Base, the remaining B-Squad Cadets and Boom are in the command center.

"You lost the laptop" said Cruger "and with it possibly Cadets Landors and Tate forever"

"It's not their fault Commander" said Boom "its mine, I got in the way, they were trying to protect me. Here is my resignation"

"Resignation accepted" said Cruger "Dr. Manx, contact Commander Oliver at Project Hexagon to see if he can contact the Cyber Squad. They might be able to help us get the Rangers out without the laptop" A few hours later Kat calls everyone to the lab, where Boom is packing his things

"The Cyber Squad is currently helping out Cadets Landors and Tate" said Kat "and combining it with the invisiportal technology they managed to get me a program that can create a portal into cyberspace. I cannot simply pull them out though, someone has to go in and get them"

"Let's go" said Sydney

"No" said Cruger "this alien is holding his own against not only Cadets Landors and Tate, but the entire Cyber Squad. On top of this, if you go in, I will be the only Ranger left to protect New Tech City. I will not risk another Ranger"

"Let me go" said Boom

"Very well" said Cruger and Kat zaps him into cyber space

"Jack, Sky" said Boom "I've got a way out of here"

"We can't leave them here" said Jack about the Cyber Rangers

"Go!" said Ezra "we have our own way out" and Jack, Sky, and Boom rush out, appear in the Delta Base's Lab.

"Out of my way!" said Tomars and he blasts the Cyber Rangers back, and tries to go through the portal. Boom sees him try to come through and deletes the portal program, trapping Tomars in the computer

"Boom" said Cruger "you did not sign your resignation so I cannot and will not accept it"

In Cyberspace, the Cyber Rangers continue to battle Tomars

"Cyber Swords: Blaster Mode" said Ezra

"FIRE!" said the Rangers and he was destroyed

"This guy should have stuck with SPD" said Saul "being contained is so much less painful"

At the Delta Base, Boom tells his parents that he is merely a lab assistant, but his parents say they're proud of him anyway.
