Episode 293: Power Rangers SPD: Zapped
In the Delta Base, the B-Squad and Sam are relaxing when Cruger calls Sam over.
"What do you think they're talking about?" Sydney asked
"I don't know" said Sky "but ever since Sam became a Ranger, Cruger has been giving him a lot of attention" Alarms begin going off and the B-Squad, Sam, and Cruger go to the command center
"What's going on Dr. Manx?" Cruger asked
"A robbery at a bank" said Kat
"B-Squad and Sam" said Cruger "investigate"
At the bank, the B-Squad and Sam are interviewing witnesses. They notice Bridge is missing and then they hear a noise and notice the Green Ranger fighting nothing.
"What is he doing?" Sam asked
"I don't want to know" said Jack
Bridge hits something and the nothing becomes an alien, who was invisible. Morgana shows up and releases several Krybots.
"SPD EMERGENCY!" said Jack "SPD, B-SQUAD, RED RANGER 1!"
"SPD, B-SQUAD, BLUE RANGER 2!" said Sky
"SPD, B-SQUAD, YELLOW RANGER 4!" said Z
"SPD, B-SQUAD, PINK RANGER 5!" said Sydney
"FORCE FROM THE FUTURE!" said Sam "SPD OMEGA RANGER VI!" Sky and Sam chase the alien while the rest of the Rangers fight the Krybots. The Krybots and destroyed and the alien is captured and taken back to the Delta Base.
At the Delta Base, the B-Squad tries to interrogate the alien, whose name is Al, but he's not talking. Jack tells him he will get jail time off if he talks, Sky threatens him, Sydney promises him a reward, and Z plays one of Sydney's songs to torture him. They finally send Bridge in.
"Security is a very interesting thing" said Bridge "more people should learn about it. Would you like to hear about it? Of course you would, who wouldn't?…" an hour later the monster says he is working for a magician named Mysticon and then begs Bridge to stop talking. The B-Squad and Sam then go to the command center
"I've decided to send Sam undercover to investigate this magician" said Cruger
"What?" Jack said "one of us could do it"
"You have my orders" said Cruger "you are dismissed" and they leave the command center as Sam heads to the magic show.
"We should go too" said Sydney
"Cruger specifically said Sam is the one going" said Sky
"Yes" said Jack "but he didn't outright command us not to go"
"Yeah" said Z "the kid might get in trouble and need backup"
At the magic show, the B-Squad arrives as the show starts and spot Sam, but don't go up to him
"For my first trick" said Mysticon "I will need a volunteer"
"Pick me!" said Bridge
"How about you" said Mysticon and pointed at a woman, who reluctantly goes up on stage "what's your name?"
"Dr. Helen Tyler-Jones" said the woman
"Dr. Manx" said Sam into his Omega Morpher "Mysticon just called a woman named Dr. Helen Tyler-Jones on stage"
"Dr. Tyler-Jones is a leading microbiologist" said Kat
"Now he made her disappear" said Sam
"That's not unusual for a magic show" said Kat
"But he's not bringing her back" said Sam
"Alert the B-Squad" said Cruger
"They're already here" said Sam
"What?!" Cruger yelled
"Mysticon's leaving" said Sam
"I'll deal with this later" said Cruger "stop him"
Backstage, Mysticon hears a noise coming from the box that he had Helen disappear from. He opens it to see Sam
"SPD EMERGENCY!" said Sam "FORCE FROM THE FUTURE! SPD OMEGA RANGER VI!" The B-Squad runs up hearing the noise backstage. They see Mysticon battling the Omega Ranger and then Morgana and Krybots show up.
"SPD EMERGENCY!" said Jack "SPD, B-SQUAD, RED RANGER 1!"
"SPD, B-SQUAD, BLUE RANGER 2!" said Sky
"SPD, B-SQUAD, GREEN RANGER 3!" said Bridge
"SPD, B-SQUAD, YELLOW RANGER 4!" said Z
"SPD, B-SQUAD, PINK RANGER 5!" said Sydney. They fight the Krybots and free Helen, but Mysticon escapes and summons a giant robot
"Kat" said Jack "send the Zords" and the Delta Base opens up and releases the Delta Runners and Omegamax Cycle.
"RED DELTA RUNNER 1!" said Jack
"BLUE DELTA RUNNER 2!" said Sky
"GREEN DELTA RUNNER 3!" said Bridge
"YELLOW DELTA RUNNER 4!" said Z
"PINK DELTA RUNNER 5!" said Sydney.
"OMEGAMAX CYCLE VI!" said Sam
"DELTA SQUAD MEGAZORD!" said Jack
"OMEGAMAX MEGAZORD!" said Sam and the Megazords were formed. The two Megazords try to attack the robot, but smash into each other.
"Get out of the way" said Jack
"Sorry" said Sam "he's too fast" and he turns his Megazord back into Zord mode "get on, maybe we'll be fast enough" and the Delta Squad Megazord jumps on the Omegamax Cycle, but the robot is still too fast for them to hit.
In the Delta Base, Cruger and Kat are monitoring the situation.
"Kat" said Cruger "activate the DBDS"
"Do you really think the Delta Command Megazord will be fast enough if the Omegamax Cycle isn't?" Kat asked
"Do you have any better ideas?" Cruger asked
"I've almost completed a program that will allow the Megazords to combine" said Kat as she types into the computer "I've got it! Rangers, I'm uploading a program to combine the Megazords, activate it"
"DELTAMAX MEGAZORD!" said Jack and the Zords combine into a new one. The Deltamax Megazord punches the robot and actually hits it "HYPERSPEED!" and the Megazord destroys the robot and then Mysticon ejects. The Rangers eject and the Megazord disassembles and returns to the Delta Base.
"Omega Morpher: JUDGEMENT TIME!" said Sam "You are charged with robbing banks" and the Omega Morpher flashes between innocent and guilty before landing on guilty "OMEGA MORPHER: LIGHT BEAM MODE!" and a bar of energy slices through Mysticon, containing him.
"Power Down" said Jack and they demorph and return to the Delta Base.
At the Delta Base, the B-Squad, Sam, Cruger, and Kat are in the command center
"Great job Rangers" said Kat "and Sam, I have something for you" and Boom brings out a new cadet uniform, done in the style of the B-Squad's, with white stripes.
"Thanks Kat" said Sam "can I go try it on?"
"You are dismissed" said Cruger and he leaves and the B-Squad begins to leave "I never said you were dismissed" and the B-Squad stops "You blatantly disobeyed my orders today. What do you have to say for yourselves?"
"We were jealous of all the attention you were giving Sam" said Jack "especially when you chose him to go undercover without us"
"I was giving Sam extra attention because I want him to feel welcome as part of the team" said Cruger "and I chose him to go undercover because he's a kid, and most people would simply overlook him without a second thought. If he got in serious danger he could teleport the danger away or morph. Now, you are my team and don't you forget it. Dismissed"
